"We're sittin' ducks out here if any of Claudine's friends show up." Sookie said
"Go inside. (Eric faint) Are you serious? We're headin' for the cubby. Hey. (Maria slapped Eric. He wakes up.) Finally." Maria said
Eric stands up. He started walking towards Sookie.
"Hey. More." Eric said
Maria blocked Eric.
"You can't have more. You'll kill her if you do." Maria said
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Eric said
Eric retract his fangs.
"Come on, I'll tuck you in. (Eric giggles. He pinches Maria bottom.) Oh my God. Did you just...?" Maria asked as Eric cuts her off
"Yes I did." Eric said
"Hands off." Maria said
Eric does it again to Maria .
"He just did it again." Sookie said
"I said hands off. (Maria is surprised that a vampire is drunk.) You're drunk!" Maria said
"Catch me." Eric said
Eric leaves.
"Get back here! (Eric comes back.) I'm trying to help you. You can't do this. Get back in the house right now." Maria said
"Never." Eric said
"It'll be dawn soon!" Maria said
"I don't care." Eric said
Eric leaves again.
"Eric!" said
Maria and her sister runs after him. But they stopped. Maria can't smell him anymore. Her sister is worried about her.
"What's wrong?" Sookie asked her sister
"I don't know. I can't smell him anymore." Maria said
"Try to change." Sookie said
Maria tries to change into her tiger form but nothing is happening.
"It's not working." Maria said
Morning.
Maria and her sister are outside back of the house. Maria holds a red blanket. Alcide finds them.
"Oh, thank you for commin'. My tiger abilities isn't working right now. We've checked the woods out back one more time. There's no sign of him." Maria said
"How can Eric be runnin' around in the daylight? And why is your powers not working?" Alcide asked both Stackhouse sisters
Alcide starts to undress.
"I figured a witch took my powers away so that I wouldn't track him. The rest of the story of him walking in the daytime. We'll you on the way." Maria said
Sookie looks at him, but he stops before taking off his pants. Maria turned her head the other way and so did Sookie.
"Thank you for this." Maria thanking Alcide
"It's no big deal." Alcide said
Alcide turns into a wolf.
"You got his scent?" Maria asked Alcide
Alcide run into the woods.
"Wait up!" Sookie said
Maria and her sister ran after Alcide.
The woods.
Alcide stops near the water.
"Alcide, why did you stop? We have to keep movin'." Maria said
Eric comes out of the water.
"Hey, Maria! Where have you been? Come, come play with me. It's wonderful here." Eric said
"I'll pass. There's a few gators in there, you crazy Viking! Get out of there and let's go home, before one of them chomps off your man parts." Maria said
"Leave the sun to the water? Nope. I'll just kill all the sea monsters! Gators, (Eric spoke one word in swedish.) Krokodiler! (Crocodile!) (Eric speaking English.) Show yourselves! (Eric splash the water.) Cowards!" Eric said
Alcide transforms into his human form.
"He really is different." Alcide said
Eric sees Alcide in his human form and gets his fangs out.
"Eric, this is Alcide. He's your friend. He's gonna help you. You don't want to fight him." Maria said
"Yes, I do. Now prepare to die, you stinking dog." Eric said
"Take your shot, you dumbshit fanger." Alcide said
Alcide growls.
"Stop it. Both of you!" Maria said
"Alcide, stop making that noise." Sookie said
"Eric, put your fangs away and do what I say!" Maria said
Eric starts to feel the burn of the sun.
"Uh, uh...I don't feel so good." Eric said
"It's ok. (Maria walked towards Eric with the blanket and wraps him up.) I got you." Maria said
"Maria, I hurt." Eric said
"Come on. You gotta run back to the house." Maria said
"I don't want to go back to the darkness." Eric said
"You don't know what you're saying." Maria said
"Just keep that blanket on, and the sun at your back." Alcide said
"Maria, I'm..." Eric said
"Go. We're right behind you." Maria said
Eric leaves. Alcide transformed his wolf form again. They followed Eric.
Stackhouse Residence.
Both Sookie and Alcide are upstairs. Maria and Eric are in the hideout sitting on the bed
"I don't want to go to sleep." Eric said
"We've tried finding you all night. Drinking all that blood from a faerie. You got all burned up today. (Maria checks if he's fine.) Everything healed. Now, go to sleep." Maria said
"I can't." Maria said
"If you don't sleep, you're gonna start bleeding all over the place." Maria said
"I know what the bleeds are." Eric said
"You can clean it up yourself cause I'm not your maid." Maria said
"Stay with me. Please." Eric said
"I can't. Human stuff to do." Maria said
Eric is sad.
Maria stands up. Gets on the latter and climbs back up out of the cubby.
"He can't stay here. What are you thinkin'?" Alcide asked Maria
"Isn't our duty to help somebody? (Alcide gave Maria a concern look.) You saw yourself. He isn't the same. He has no memory." Maria said
"You must have a death wish. He lied to you." Alcide said
"He's not himself at the moment. Right now he's like some ragged puppy who needs my help. You're doing the same with Debbie." Maria said
"She was an addict and an attempted murder, and she lives in your house. We're not judging you." Sookie said
"So that's how you two feel about her." Alcide said
"Eric, Bill, and Debbie. We've all been hurt once. But not this time." Maria said
"All right, then we're even." Sookie said
Maria and her sister approaches and hugs him.
"Thank you for understanding." Maria said
"I always will. No matter what happens." Alcide said
Maria stopped hugging Alcide.
"Wolf friend." Maria said
"Tiger friend." Alcide said
Maria smile and went back inside.
Maria is back in Eric's hideout.
"You've been too quiet. This isn't like you." Maria said
"Yes, it is." Eric said
"No, it's not. The real Eric..." Maria said as Eric cuts her off
"I am real." Eric said
"I know that. I meant the Eric with his memories. Not much gets him down. Sure, he's a rascal and a troublemaker, and most of the time. He was a happy vampire." Maria said
"I'll never swim in the sun again. Never feel the heat on my skin." Eric said
"The nighttime isn't so bad. You've got the stars and the sky." Maria said
"Don't. I'm not a child." Eric said
"I feel bad that this is happening to you. This is my fault." Maria said
"How could this be your fault?" Eric asked Maria
"Should've given you more time to explain yourself. Tell me more about your story." Maria said
"Since I can't remember. Why don't you tell me yours?" Eric asked Maria
"I was almost to my death. The tigers tortured me. Left me there. You saw me helpless like any other human being. You were the one who saved my life. The first vampire I've met. You've taught me to fight and being unglamored so that I wouldn't be glamour to any other vampire. That's when things got complicated. You slept with my best friend. I got mad at you about that. Needed more time. I had these feelings for you. At the time. For the longest time you told me that you love me. That's when I had to break things off with you cause you were hiding something else." Maria said
"I'm sorry for what I did." Eric said
"I'm over it." Maria said
"If you kiss me, I promise to be happy." Eric said
Maria hesitated.
"I can't." Maria said
"It's ok. It's only a kiss." Eric said
Eric slowly approaches Maria, but back up.
