The next day Clark and Angela sat on the steps of the porch watching the day begin.
"Are you sure you're ok with me and Lex still being friends?,"
"Clark what happened between me and him had nothing to do with you. You can still continue to be friends with him and hang out with him and all that I'm going to actually make some changes,"
"Like what sis,"
"Well i've decided to leave Smallville and move to metropolis to finish high school. Get a make over and start fresh,"
"You will still come home won't you?,"
"Of course, I spoke to Lionel behind Lex's back. In order to keep my silence about the last year he gave me enough money to get an apartment and pay my bills for five years,"
"Wow and you accepted it?,"
"Had to, Lex hurt me and Lionel's afraid of a scandal despite mom working for him,"
"Well you did what you had to, do mom and dad know?,"
"Yes, I leave today Clark. I'll come home though visit, and help with any more meteor infected people,"
"You sure you want to be involved with that now?,"
"Have no reason not to any more, speaking of," Angela said pulling out the cell phone Lex gave her.
"What are you doing?,"
"You'll see," Angela said getting up and after removing the bank card she placed the phone on the ground and crushed it completly with one stomp. Then she took the card and ripped it in two by hand.
"You really did just finish it,"
"Yep, I already went and got my belongings this morning when he left the mansion so everything is packed in my truck over there and I leave in an hour,"
"I'll miss you baby sis,"
"Me too Clark, me too," Angela agreed as she took a heavy sigh of breath.
Later that morning Clark headed over to the mansion to check on Lex.
"Lex?,"
"In here Clark," came the muffled reply from the office.
"What the hell happened,"
"I know that schemeing bastard has hidden listening devices around here,"
"Why?,"
"Cause I just lost a 150 million dollar account to him,"
"Oh, what are we looking for?,"
"Anything small that can be hidden in any spot."
Making sure Lex wasn't watching Clark used his x-raying ability to look around.
"Did you try the stereo?,"
"No but smart idea," Lex said as he began ripping it apart.
"Aha I knew it,"
"Lex, I just came by to see how you were doing,"
"About?,"
"My sister?,"
"Oh, that isn't an easy topic right now,"
"You know she said she still loves you, even though you and Helen got together behind her back,"
"I regret that ok she deserved better, I still love her too. This is my father's fault he set it up with me and Helen and I fell into the trap hurting the woman I love,"
"Cassandra was right Lex when she had that vision, unfortunatly though my sister is gone, left town,"
"To where?,"
"I can't say,"
"Why?,"
"She asked me not to Lex, I'm gonna head out now I told you what I could it's up to you now to find a way to fix things. Oh and by the way your father got schemed by her she took a 'quiet' payment in order to leave," Clark dropped that hint as he headed out the door knowing Lex would use it to find her.
Angela had gone to Gotham first. She had a correspondent online who was willing to help her train to fight for a month.
Arriving at the mansion the gates opened allowing her to reach the main house. When the limo pulled up and she stepped out she was nervous but happy to be making these steps.
When she rang the doorbell it opened to reveal her friend and her training partner, none other then, Bruce Wayne.
"Welcome to Wayne mansion Angela,"
"Thank you Bruce for helping me make my move,"
"You're very welcome come let's get you settled in," and as the door shut behind Angela to start the new month chapter in her life she knew deep down things were going to change for the better.
(Sorry for the short chapter I will be having time jumps and small crossovers like this every once in awhile to progress my character's changes in the story without having empty episodes without her)
