I hope you enjoy this story, as much as I enjoyed planning. This is going to be a multichapter and I hope you enjoy what I have in store for Fred and Hermione. Good reading!

Hermione stared at the stars. She didn't know what prompted her to go to the roof, but it was worth the cold she was feeling. The stars looked beautiful tonight, and Hermione felt like she was the only person in the world.

"They look beautiful this time of the year, don't they?" a voice said from behind her, startling her. "It's almost like they're shining brighter today."

She turned around and saw a man near her, looking at the stars. It seemed like he hadn't even realised Hermione was there, and was talking to himself. She took a deep breath, not wanting to disrupt him, but she was curious; Hermione had never seen him around the building before tonight.

"The stars are almost as beautiful as you," the stranger said, turning to Hermione with a smirk on his face. "Hello gorgeous, I'm Fred."

Hermione just blinked at him, not knowing what to say. It wasn't the first time some guy had flirted with her, but this was the first time she wanted to flirt back. Fred had something about him that put her at ease.

"I have seen you around the building, but I never had the courage to talk with you…not before tonight," Fred continued, coming to sit next to Hermione. "But it looked like the stars were trying to help me."

She giggled; he was saying exactly what she ever wanted to hear a cute guy say to her. Hermione decided to be brave and talk with Fred, it's not like she was doing much else.

"I'm Hermione," she said, extending her hand towards him.

Fred grabbed her hand and brought it to his mouth, lightly kissing it. Hermione blushed bright red, her face almost the colour of Fred's hair.

"It's a pleasure meeting you," Fred smoothly said, not letting go of her hand. "Did you come here to stargaze too?"

"Yes, I tend to do this when I'm feeling a little overwhelmed," Hermione said, without thinking about it. "You probably don't want to hear about it."

Fred's face glowed, bathed by the moonlight. His freckles seemed like constellations of stars, making Hermione want to reach out and connect all of them. Shaking herself internally, she stared at him.

"You can tell me anything you want, I would like to know more about you, if it's okay with you?" Fred was staring at her, and he seemed so adorable looking at her with his big blue eyes, that something tugged in Hermione's heart.

"I would like to know more about you, too," Hermione whispered, a shiver running down her spine. "But I would prefer to do that with a cup of coffee, it's getting cold here."

"How about we meet at the coffee shop in the corner tomorrow, at four? What do you say?" Fred asked, and his eyes were glinting and Hermione couldn't help but smile back.

"It's a date," Hermione said, smiling a little at him.
