the continuation of their date and maybe some fun surprises for Hermione
"There's something about this pink lemonade that I haven't tried in any other place," Fred said, drinking the beverage as if it was something heavenly. "What do you think they put it on?"
Hermione giggled, having more fun on this unpretentious date, than she had on any other date she had been. It seemed like Fred knew how to let Hermione at ease, and she felt like she had known him her whole life.
"Probably something that will make you addicted and start to hang around here every day, so they'll get all your money," Hermione replied, finishing with her sandwich.
She didn't want to finish eating so soon; she was having fun with Fred and didn't know if they were going to go out again or not, and Hermione wanted to enjoy it while it lasted.
"You shouldn't talk like that, or else they could make us go away when they realised we discovered their secret." Fred winked at her and Hermione felt herself blushing.
"I think the way to throw any suspicion out of us is to come back here a few times, so they won't be suspicious," Hermione said, looking down at her plate. She didn't want to look at Fred's face yet.
"I think it's safe to say that we should make this a weekly date," Fred said nonchalantly, making Hermione's head shot up. "What do you say, Hermione? Weekly date to prove the pink lemonade conspiracy?"
Hermione started laughing and Fred soon joined her. It was such a stupid thing to laugh about it, but she felt safe with Fred, to laugh about the silliest things.
"Do you want anything else or do you want the check?" the same waitress from before asked, coming near their table.
"The check, please," Hermione said, smiling at her and watching her walk away. "I don't think it's wise to tell her about what we think."
Fred snickered, and shook her head. After a little debacle about who should pay the check—both agreeing to share the amount—they finally walked out.
"This was a lovely date, thank you for accepting my invitation," Fred said, right after they had left the coffee shop. "What do you say, same time next week?"
"It's a date," Hermione said, trying hard not to blush too hard at the look on Fred's face.
A noise on the outside grabbed her attention, making Hermione turn to look around. When she turned back to ask for Fred's number, but before she could, she heard a crack sound behind her and when she turned, Fred had vanished.
