Wow, a lot of people like this. Was not expecting this reaction.

When the blinding light vanished, Yuya looked around at his new surroundings. He was in a stadium, surrounded by people. In front of him was Strong Ishijima and Battleguard King.

Oh, he was back in the duel when he first Pendulum Summon. Only this time, he was in control. Now that he thinks about it, was Zarc the one who controlled him back then? Questions for later as of now he had a Duel to win.

As he stared in front of him, he noticed the field to be the same from before, so he should finish this quickly.

"I, using the Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and the Scale 8 Timegazer Magician, set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya said as his magicians appeared. "With these, I can now summon Monsters between Level 2 and 7 at the same time!"

"What is happening!?" Strong Ishijima yelled in shock

"Swing, Pendulum of the soul. Draw an arc of light across the ether! PENDULUM SUMMON! Come forth, my monsters!"

A portal opened between the two magicians, with three beams of light coming out, with Odd-Eyes, a mix between a sword and a fish that suspiciously looks like Elvis and a purple snake with a top hat.

(LV2 Fish/Effect/Water ATK:600 DEF:600)

(LV4 Reptile/Effect/Earth ATK:1700 DEF:900)

(LV:7 SC:4 Dragon/Pendulum/Effect/Dark ATK: 2500 DEF: 2000)

He stared at Odd-Eyes behind him. Did Odd-Eyes only think of him as a pawn? To revive Zarc? Did it not care one bit about him? Was Yuya only imagining things when he thought Odd-Eyes loved him?

As if sensing his thoughts, Odd-Eyes looked at him. He lowered his head and closed his eyes. Knowing what he wanted, Yuya placed his hand on his head, petting him. Odd-Eyes let out a sound akin to a purring from a cat.

He smiled. He may not be able to communicate with him, but actions speak louder than words and he knows that Odd-Eyes loves him. Odd-Eyes lowered himself so Yuya could stand on top of him. "Ready for Round Two, buddy?" He said, massaging his neck.

As a response, Odd-Eyes roared loudly, making Yuya smile.

"I activate Entermate Whip Viper effect! It switches your Monster ATK and DEF!" Yuya said

(Battleguard King: 5000 = 1100 ATK)

"Then I activate Entermate Sword Fish effect! Your monster loses 600 ATK!"

(Battleguard King:1100 - 600 = 500 ATK)

"Battleguard King ATK has drop from 5000 ATK to 500!" Nico voice rang out across the stadium and Yuya never thought he would miss the man's voice.

"Battle! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon attacks Battleguard King!" Yuya declared as the orbs on Odd-Eyes began to glow. "Show them your true power!"

"I won't let you! Trap activate! Battleguard Howling! Your attacking monster returns to your hand and you receive damage equal to its ATK!" Strong Ishijima stated.

"Timegazer Magician who rules over time! Protect us with your powers! Timegazer Magician Pendulum effect! When a Pendulum Monster battles, I can negate a Trap Card activation! Inverse Gearwise!" Yuya said as the card returned to its original position

"Shit! Then…" Strong Ishijima ran for a nearby branch and grabbed a card. " Action Magic: Evasion! Your attack is-"

"Stargazer Magician who rules over space! Protect us with your powers! Stargazer Magician Pendulum effect! When a Pendulum Monster battles, I can negate a Spell's Card activation! Horoscope Divination!" The same thing happened like before.

"Now, Odd-Eyes! Burn everything to cinders that you lay your eyes on! Spiral Strike Burst!" Yuya's ace fired a flame at Battleguard King.

"Shit! But next turn…"

"When Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon battles a Level 5 or above monster, the battle damage is doubled!" Yuya added.

"What!? Doubled!? Then…"

"You're done!" The orbs on Odd-Eyes's wings began to glow as powerful energy began to transfer into Odd-Eyes's attack. "REACTION FORCE!"

The attack consumed Battleguard King and sent Strong Ishijima flying, hitting the ground.

Strong Ishijima: 4000 - 4000 = 0 LP

Winner: Yuya

"I can't believe I was ever scared of you." Yuya said, disappointed.

The Action Field disappeared and the crowd was silent. Can he blame them? He just defeated their so-called 'Champion' with a single attack and using a new Summoning method to boot

"You won, Yuya!"

He nearly forgot the sound of his mother's voice. He turned around, seeing his mom cheering for him, Shuzo crying like usual, Gongenzaka with a…mustache? and…

And…

And…

"It was awesome Yuya!" She looked different, older, but there was no doubt about it. She was…

"Yuzu…" Yuya said.

He took a few slow steps, before going into a full sprint, jumping over the railing, grabbing Yuzu and twirling her around in the air.

"Eh? Y-Yuya?!" Yuzu said confused, blushing a bit from the sudden action.

"You're here!" He said, excited.

Of course, he was aware that this Yuzu was different from the one he knew, but he didn't care! Yuzu was right here! In his arms! Safe and sound! He placed her down before hugging her.

"You're here…" He said in a low voice, sniffing a bit with tears running down his eyes, only being heard by Yuzu.

Meanwhile, Yuzu was confused. Her friend just invented a new Summoning Method, then ran like a madman towards her, twirled her around like a princess, then hugged her like she would disappear if he let go and was now crying. "Yes… I'm here…" Yuzu said, hugging him back. She doesn't know why, but it seems he needed comfort.

Thankfully, to the outside, it just seemed like he was happy to the verge of tears.

Nico quickly ran towards Yuya, kicking Strong Ishijima and knocking him out. As he saw him approach, he let go of Yuzu. "Congratulations, Yuya!" Nico said before handing him the mic. "So how does it feel to be the creator of a new Summoning Method at just 18 years old?!"

…I'm sorry he is HOW MANY YEARS OLD!?

Meanwhile in another location.

Someone entered their office with Nakajima behind them with a tablet.

"President, we identified the boy." Nakajima reported as the person sat behind their desk. The screen showed an image of Yuya. "His name is Yuya Sakaki. 18 years old."

Various images showed him having ice cream with Yuzu and other casual photos.

"He's a third-year student at Miyaji Academy. He's classified as a Junior Youth in terms of Dueling." Nakajima explained. "However, his Dueling record is average."

Yuya's Duel Record was shown. "A roughly 50% ratio?" The person asked. "Where does he Duel?"

"He is enrolled in a Duel School called You Show Duel School here in the city." Nakajima answered.

"You Show Duel School?" The person said, clenching their fist for a brief moment. "You said his name was Sakaki Yuya, right?"

"Yes. As you have probably already known, he is the son of Yusho Sakaki." Nakajima confirmed.

"His son..." The person murmured. "The son of Yusho Sakaki, who disappeared three years ago, performed an unknown summon method?"

Reiji stood up. "Investigate his personal life immediately. Report to me any information about the Pendulum Summons, no matter how trivial."

"Right away." Nakajima nodded, before leaving.

The person clicked a button, the windows opening up and their form revealed a thin young woman with pale skin and grey hair, the front layer being a lighter grey than the back. She had very long hair tied into a ponytail, but it still reached her back. Her eyes are purple, and she wears red-framed spectacles. Her ears are both pierced with black stud earrings. She is wearing a dark-blue sweater that hugged her figure very nicely, a white work skirt, and white heels (apparently without any socks in them), along with a long red scarf wrapped around her shoulders with the ends trailing to the small of her back.

"I wonder if you'll remember me, Yuya." She said with a smile on her face.

A bit of a shorter chapter this time around, but don't worry, the next one will be bigger. Two things I want to discuss about this chapter:

A) In case you didn't get it, the Yuya and Odd-Eyes scene is a reference to How To Train Your Dragon. Instead of having Yuya understand Odd-Eyes and having it speak, I wanted to show that Yuya understood Odd-Eyes without having the need to translate.

B) Yep, Reiji is a woman in this. If you think genderbending is the only change in this, then oh boy, you are not prepared for the surprises i have in store.

Now as usual, here are some ideas:

-SI!OC who uses Parasite Fusioner as a Deck. Doktor is dead. OCxHarem and Evil!Ruri and Evil!Rin. M Rated for obvious reasons.

-Reincarnated as Sora. M-rated SoraxAdults (like Yoko,Himika, Melissa Claire). M-Rated.

-Yuya's older brother OC, who takes care of Yuya alone and thinks Dueling is a sin after being traumatized of Yusho's disappearance. He gave up Dueling and takes care of Yuya, but events lead him to use the Deck again. Pairing: OCxHarem(including Fem!Reiji) or OCxYuzu with YuyaxSerena. Deck: Endymion/Mythical Beast/Spell Counters.

- A Yu-boy, who instead of having Rituals or Links, actually has an Advance/Tribute Dimensional Dragon. He is a prince from a foreign country who had visions of both Ruri and Rin asking for help. He goes to Miami City to investigate. Deck: Monarchs. Has references to Cardfight Vanguard. OCxRuri and Rin.

P.S: Should I try and make a version of each opening? I would only use it once if I had to.
