A bit of a shorter chapter this time around. Just to segway into the next one, which might be just a tad bigger.

So apparently, he was now 18 years old. Great. He should be panicking over the sudden change, sad that he lost the rest of his childhood, that he was now legally an adult and amongst other things… but he isn't.

Think about it. He went to war and saw things no kid his age should have and scarred him for life. If anything, he mentally aged, so his younger body wouldn't fit him. And Chronograph did warn him things could change and he can live with a few years older. I mean, why should he be mad when Yuzu is here! If having her next to him again means sacrificing some years of his life, it's a small price to pay.

Speaking of Yuzu, he and she are now in his room. They were having a party to celebrate Yuya's victory. At some point, she asked to show her his Deck, which he did after asking if it could be in private. He will admit that he wanted a moment alone with her to take in her new look.

This was a sentence he never thought he would use, but Yuzu aged like fine wine. He would admit that he found Yuzu cute before but now he found her a word he also would probably never use: beautiful.

She still wore her school uniform. Yuzu didn't exactly have a lot of clothes, so she always wore her uniform. She ditched the pigtails and wore her hair in a mix between a ponytaild and a braid. In terms of chest, she didn't really change much, but Yuya doesn't care about that. Now, the legs... *whistle* It looked they belonged to a model with how thick they were.

...Is this related to that 'puberty' thing he learned in school?

"It really is true…" Yuzu said, overlooking his Deck. It snapped Yuya out of his lewd thoughts. "Your entire Deck changed into these… You called them Pendulum cards?"

"Yeah." He nodded, resting his face.

"You also got some new Spells and Traps to support your new Deck that weren't there before." She added.

"Yep." He nodded once again.

"And so far it seems the only card to completely change was Odd-Eyes Dragon, turning into Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon." She showed the card in question.

"True."

"Alright, that's it." Yuzu huffed, placing the Deck on the bed, frowning. "Ever since the Duel, you've been acting weird. First you act like a crazy person, hugging me out of nowhere, and you haven't taken your eyes off me since then and you have that stupid smile on your face. So spill it. What's going on?"

Yuya wanted to tell her. God he wanted to tell her everything. How they are nothing but fragments of someone else, how their whole lives are a lie, how they lost one another, their journey ahead...

"Nothing. In that duel, I just thought of how precious you are to me." He answered.

But he can't. Not only for the fact he would never believe her and he would sound like a crazy person, but he doesn't want Yuzu to be burdened by this. He wants to Yuzu to live her life not thinking about the war against Academia, the Dimensions and having to hide from Akaba Leo. If he can have her free of thoughts like this for even a minute longer, he would hold on to all of this for as long as he has to.

"Yuzu, can you sing for me?"

Yuzu face turned as red as a tomato. "W-What?" She said, confused by the sudden request. "Why are you asking this so suddenly?"

"I just realized I haven't heard you sing in a long time." Yuya answered.

"I haven't practiced much." Yuzu said, nervous. "It might not sound-"

Yuya interrupted her by holding her hands. "It won't matter if it's good or not." He said. "I just want to hear your melody again."

Yuzu's face was still red, but she nodded nonetheless. "I-I'll try." She cleared her throat.

Yuya chuckled once he realized what song she was singing, which was from a movie they both saw as kids, before everything went to shit with Yusho leaving.

"You have a beautiful voice, you know that?" Yuya said once Yuzu stopped. "Remember when you wanted to be an idol?"

The mention of her dream surprised Yuzu, but she quickly shook her head. "I… can't. With You Show and everything, it's too much and now with the new students-"

"You don't have to do everything. I'll help around You Show." Yuya said. Yuzu was still hesitant. "At least promise me you will try?"

Yuzu looked at his face and sighed. He couldn't say no to that face. "Alright, I'll try."

"Thank you." He nodded.

Here, Yuzu decided to change topics. "Are you excited for tomorrow? We might get new students!" Yuzu said.

Yuya inwardly frowned. He never admitted it in the past, but he was revolted by the way people only wanted to join because of Pendulum Summon. They didn't even hide the fact and had the audacity to throw a tantrum when they didn't get what they wanted. He was glad Tatsuya joined the school and also Sora, even if for a while, otherwise he might have lost faith in You Show gaining new students.

"Yeah, but honestly, I'm happy with the ones we have now." He said.

Yuzu snorted. "Yeah, but we can't call ourselves a school with only two students who are related to the founders, right?"

"Huh?" Yuya blinked

"Yeah, I mean, Gongenzaka comes around, but he is from another school, so he doesn't count. We're the only students in You Show." She said.

Yuya grabbed his Duel Disk and began typing. He sighed in relief at one point, but then widened his eyes at what he found, or in this case, what he didn't find.

"Are you okay, Yuya?" Yuzu asked after a while.

"...Yeah." He said, in order to not show his true feelings, but inside he was panicking. Perhaps it's because they didn't become duelists, but if his research showed anything…

Futoshi and Tatsuya don't exist.

I tried not to make Yuya a perv, while also making him realize his best friend turned beautiful. Also, in case you want to see Yuzu sing any songs, leave a request and I might add it. Yuya is going to sing some as well, but not as much.

Now as for the Chibi Trio not existing...I'll be honest. I don't like the Chibi Trio. Futoshi is probably more annoying than Sawatari and Tatsuya just serves as some exposition to explain the other Summoning Methods. It might be an interesting dynamic to see an older Ayu. I might or might not add her to the harem. If not, it can just be a good friendship and to show Yuya the different consequences to time travel.

Now, here we are with some new ideas:

-Battle of Gods: Essentially, an OC is isekai into each Dimension except Xyz, and they get access to the God cards of that Dimension. So Fusion would be the Phantom Beasts, Synchro would be Nordic and Standard would be the Egyptian God Cards. The last one's Deck could be different, from Slimes to Dark Magician.

-SI!Buster Blader: Buster Blader asks for help in defeating Zarc by any means necessary. Evil!OC x Female!Zarc counterparts.

-SI!Exodia: OC makes a contract with Exodia, essentially having god-like powers (mostly hypnotism...) and having the five Exodia pieces with him.
