Ok, so Tatsuya and Futoshi didn't exist in this universe, that's fine. Maybe he didn't do enough research. Maybe Futoshi and Tatsuya did exist and he just had to look harder!

…Nope. The minute he woke up, all he did was research and he found nothing about them. The only hope he has left is that they do exist, but haven't decided to become Duelists, which is still pretty bad in his opinion because then he would never meet them!

While some would find Futoshi's 'shivers' phrase annoying, he found it endearing and funny! It always managed to put a smile on his face!

And Tatsuya was his first, real fan! Not to mention how he stuck by him when everyone else called him a coward when he first failed Pendulum Summon

AND NOW THEY WERE GONE!? IT'S NOT FAIR! IT'S… completely his fault. Chronograph warned him and he still went through with it. All because of Yuzu, Ruri and Rin.

Dammit, if he knew this would happen, he would have never taken that deal! Who knows who else was erased! The mere thought of some people like Jack or Crow disappearing filled him with dread. Oh god if Shun disappeared, Yuto would never forgive him.

"Yuya, are you okay?"

…God bless this woman. She snapped him out of his thoughts.

"Yeah, just nervous for the duel." He said as they both walked towards You Show.

"Well, I'm going to mop the floor with you." She said, determined.

Yuya laughed a bit, not mocking Yuzu, but just glad she was with him. "I don't doubt it." He said.

"If you want to attend this school, please fill in your name on this document." Yuzu called out from the front, a huge line forming in front of her.

"Okay", "I'll attend!", "Me too!" Several voices call in response to Yuzu.

"You'll show us Pendulum Summoning today, right?" A person from the queue asked.

"Of course we will, but only applicants are allowed to see it." Yuzu responds.

"I'll attend!" "Me too!", "Hurry up!" a chorus of voices called out.

"Please get in line in number order!" Yuzu says, trying to calm down the eager crowd. "Sheesh, I'm going to be the opponent in the mock battle, but I don't have time to get ready."

"Then there is no choice." A deep male voice responds as I hear a door open. "The man Gongenzaka will replace you as the opponent." Gongenzaka tells Yuzu.

When Yuya first saw the older Gongenzaka, he nearly laughed at his new appearance. He wore an outfit similar to his father and even had a mustache similar to him. Paired that with his pompadour and it's an amusing image.

"I'll handle things here so that you can prepare for your duel." Ayu tells Yuzu.

"Thank you, I leave it to you!" Yuzu replies as she starts to run off before stopping spotting someone at the front of the crowd. "Oh, it's you!"

"You Show School teaches entertainment dueling popularized worldwide by the legendary dueling star Yusho Sakaki. When I think back to a decade ago when Leo Corporation developed.." Shuzo says giving a history lesson on the school before trailing off into a rant.

"How long is he gonna talk?" A guy in the crowd comments to the person beside him.

"I want to see Pendulum Summon now." he responds.

Could you idiots at least try and pretend to be here for a different reason? Yuya thought. Tch, all I want is to throw them all into the sidewalk. But i'll let it slide. If history repeats itself…

"Ladies and gentlemen!" The loud voice of Yuya Sakaki yells out as a spotlight shines down on him, "Welcome to my one-man show today!" he tells the audience.

There's a loud smack as Yuya hunches over in pain Yuzu standing behind him holding her paper fan, "What do you mean by one-man show!? You can't duel alone!" Yuzu questions Yuya with a slight growl.

"Who's that girl?" The lady standing next to my comments.

"She hit Yuya, how horrible!" The person standing next to her states.

"Leave!" They both yell at Yuzu.

"I see, so that's my role?" Yuzu grumbles under her breath as her body shakes in annoyance. "Fine, I'll take on the role of the villain!" she yells out snapping slightly before pointing at Yuya. "Yuya, just because you've gained some fame doesn't mean you can laugh like an idiot. I'm going to pummel you into pieces!" she declares getting into her role.

"Huh." Yuya says dumbly, blinking in shock.

"C'mon Yuya say something back!" Yuzu stage whispers to Yuya.

In here Yuya would probably call her Female Strong… but Yuya would not want to be rude, nor incur Yuzu's wrath.

"I'll strike back using Pendulum Summon!" suya as he smiles, putting his hands on his hips.

"The Field Spell Plain Plain activates!" she declares as the Solid Vision System activates transforming the duel room into well… a grassy plain.

"How refreshing, the new Solid Vision model is so realistic, I feel a cool breeze blowing through my heart." Shuzo comments pressing forward to see the new field pushing a few people up against the glass.

Yuya and Yuzu activate their Duel Disks on the field, "The duelists meet at the battlefield!" Yuya says, starting the Action Duel oath.

"Along with their monsters, they'll kick the ground and fly through the sky…" Yuzu continues on.

"To move around the field!"

"Witness dueling greatest evolution!"

"Action…"

"DUEL!" Yuya and Yuzu call out as the Action Cards disperse around the field.

Yuya: 4000 LP

Yuzu: 4000 LP

"I'll go first!" Yuya says holding up a card. "I summon Entermate Discover Hippo from my hand!" He says as a pink hippo in a tux with a top hat appears on his side of the field. (LV3 Beast/Effect/Earth ATK:800 DEF:800)

"The hippo appeared, Yuya's strategy is to ride it and search for Action Cards, Go!" Some people from the peanut gallery commented.

"I end-!" Yuya was about to finish his turn when Hippo turned to him, tears in its eyes. "What are you-AH!"

He was interrupted by Hippo jumping on top of him and nuzzling him, like he hadn't seen him in a long time.

What was wrong with him? Why is he-

"No way… You… remember?" He asked in a low tone so that the rest couldn't hear him. Hippo nodded vigorously.

Honestly, Yuya felt like he was about to cry. He never expected his Deck to remember their journey. He was glad he wasn't on this journey alone. But tearful reunions could happen later. "I end my turn!" He said, before riding the hippo.

Yuzu snapped out of her shock, before drawing. "My turn, I draw!" Yuzu replies by drawing her card, "I summon Aria the Melodious Diva!" She declares summoning her monster. (LV4 Fairy/Effect/Light ATK:1600 DEF:1200)

"Battle! Aria attacks Performapal Hip Hippo!" She orders her monster as it produces a loud singing voice sending a sharp spear of wind at Hip Hippo. "Sharpness Voice!"

"I use the Action Spell Evasion!" Yuya says grabbing the card from the nearby bush he ran past, "Rolling Hippo!" he calls out as Hip Hippo dodges using a barrel roll getting cheers from the crowd.

"Aria the Melodious Diva's effect activates! Yuzu responds, "When it fails to deal battle damage, you take 800 points of damage!" she explains "Resonate Wave!"

Yuya yells out as the shock wave from the attack sends him and the hippo flying. (Yuya: 4000 - 800 = 3200 LP)

"Mwahahaha, you can't escape me!" Yuzu says pointing at Yuya while laughing maniacally. "I end my turn!" she finishes.

"I guess she really gets into her roles." Yuya says with an amused smirk on his face.

"Don't just sit there. I'm acting like a villain, so defeat me by doing something cool!" Yuzu tells Yuya, hinting at him to use Pendulum.

"Pendulum, Pendulum, Pendulum!" Everyone begins to chant out.

"See, everyone's looking forward to it!" Yuzu tells Yuya.

Yuya sighed. "My turn, I draw!" He states, drawing his card. His hand was the same as the last one. He could use Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon Pendulum Effect to add something to his hand and summon Odd-Eyes in the next turn, but he doesn't want to show all of Pendulum Summon powers just yet.

"Entermate Discover Hippo can be treated as two tributes for the summon of a Level 7 or higher monster! So I tribute Discover Hippo to Advance Summon!" Yuya said as his monster turned into particles. "Appear! Dragon with dichromatic eyes! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!"

(LV:7 SC:4 Dragon/Pendulum/Effect/Dark ATK: 2500 DEF: 2000)

"Battle! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon attacks Aria the Melodious Diva!" Yuya said as his monster fired a dark red beam of fire and hit the monster, destroying it, and hitting Yuzu. "Spiral Strike Burst!"

Yuzu: 4000 - 900 = 3100 LP

"I set one card face-down and end my turn."

"Hey Yuya, what is the big idea!?" Yuzu yelled. "What about Pendulum Summon!?"

Yuya waved his arms around. "Sorry, I just don't have the necessary Pendulum Cards to do it!" He yelled out

"Pendulum Cards?" Someone questions.

"What are those?" another questioned.

"Okay, fine then. Don't be sorry if I kick your butt before then." Yuzu says. She had seen Yuya's Deck, so she knows what he is talking about. "My turn, I draw! I activate Monster Reborn to bring back Aria! Then, I can Special Summon this card when a Melodious is on the field! I Special Summon Sonata the Melodious Diva!" she announces as her second monster appears on the field. (LV3 Fairy/Effect/Light ATK:1200 DEF:1000)

"I tribute Aria the Melodious Diva and Sonata the Melodious Diva!" Yuzu declares releasing her Monsters, "I Advance Summon Melodious Flower Dragon!"

…Melodious Flower WHAT!?

True to her words, a dragon appeared in front of him. Its body resembled Odd-Eyes Dragon in a way, but it was pink rather than red, and the spikes on its back were tree branches, with small sakura leaves on them.

(LV8 Dragon/Effect/Light ATK:2800 DEF:2000)

Odd-Eyes next to him growled. Was it angry? No, it wasn't angry and the sound was more like a purring…

He facepalmed. Was his dragon seriously attracted to Yuzu's Dragon?

"First, I'll get rid of that hippo. Aria attacks Entermate Discover Hippo! Sakura Flame!" Yuzu orders her Monster, which fired a pink beam at him.

"I activate the Trap, Emergency Return! I return Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon to my hand and negate your attack!" Yuya said as his monster turned into particles, evading the attack.

"I knew you would do that, considering my dragon's effect." Yuzu said. "I end my turn."

"Its effect?" He repeated quietly. He checked Yuzu's card on his Duel Disk and read the effect.

If this card destroys an opponent's Level 5 or Higher monster and sends it to the graveyard, inflict equal to that monster's original ATK.

Sheesh, this card was basically a better version of Odd-Eyes Dragon. Still… why was there a Dragon now? Yuzu never used a Dragon before. And the fact it has 'Flower' in the name can't be a coincidence, right? Did Ruri and the other girls also have one? Questions for later…"My turn! Draw!"

He looked at his hand and sighed. He could just end his turn, but Yuzu would definitely suspect him and for some reason, the idea of losing leaves a bad taste in his mouth.

"I, using the Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and the Scale 8 Timegazer Magician, set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya said as his magicians appeared. "With these, I can now summon Monsters between Level 2 and 7 at the same time!"

"Now, Now come come Pendulum!" Shuzo chants out clapping.

"Pendulum!" The chant once again starts up.

"Swing, Pendulum of the soul. Draw an arc of light across the ether! PENDULUM SUMMON! Come forth, my monsters!"

A portal opened between the two magicians, with three beams of light coming out, with Odd-Eyes, Whip Viper and Sword Fish.

(LV2 Fish/Effect/Water ATK:600 DEF:600)

(LV4 Reptile/Effect/Earth ATK:1700 DEF:900)

The crowd went wild at his Pendulum Summon, not that Yuya cared. Yuya stared at his monsters, who also looked back at them. While they didn't jump him like Discover Hippo, he could see it in their eyes that they remembered him as well. It was nice to know he wasn't going to go on this adventure alone.

"I activate Entermate Whip Viper effect! It switches your Monster ATK and DEF!" Yuya said

(Melodious Flower Dragon: 2800 = 2000 ATK)

"Then I activate Entermate Sword Fish effect! Your monster loses 600 ATK!"

(Melodious Flower Dragon: 2000 - 600 = 1400 ATK)

Yuya pushed his arm out, which Whip Viper nodded, before curling around him. Yuya threw his monster like a whip, which grabbed onto a nearby Action Card. "Action Magic! Bi-Attack! My monster ATK is doubled!"

(Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon: 2500 X 2 = 5000 ATK)

"Battle! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon attacks Melodious Flower Dragon!" Yuya declared as the orbs on Odd-Eyes began to glow. "Show them your true power! Burn everything to cinders that you lay your eyes on! Spiral Strike Burst!" Yuya's ace fired a flame at Melodious Flower Dragon. Yuzu quickly grabbed an Action Card, but frowned at seeing it was Miracle, which wouldn't help.

"When Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon battles a Level 5 or above monster, the battle damage is doubled!" Yuya added. REACTION FORCE!"

The attack consumed Melodious Flower Dragon and sent Yuzu skid backwards.

Yuzu: 3100 - 3100 X 2 = 0 LP

WINNER: Yuya

Yuya helped Yuzu up. "Are you hurt?" He asked her.

"No, I'm fine." Yuzu said. "The only thing wounded is my ego. Still, I can't complain if we get new students."

Yeah right. Yuya thought with disdain as he looked at the people outside of the field

"Umm, I have a question." Someone says, holding up their hand.

"Yes, what is it?" Yuya asks.

"You said something about a Pendulum Card." He comments.

"Pendulum Card?" Yuzu questions looking at Yuya.

"That's what I call it, I don't know the official name." Yuya explains. "I do a Pendulum Summon, so the cards are Pendulum Cards."

He took out one random card from his Deck and showed it to them.

"You can't Pendulum Summon if you don't have this card?" A member of the crowd comments.

"That's not fair, or maybe there's no such thing as Pendulum Summoning!" another commented.

I literally did it in front of you. Yuya thought. Twice, might I add.

"I bet you tricked the system during the Ishijima match, how else could you summon so many monsters at once!?" a third voice comments.

"He wanted to beat the champion that badly?" A girl comments in disgust.

The system recognized my Summoning as legal. If not, I would have lost by cheating. And that's assuming the fact I can 'trick' the system by hacking it, which is something I don't know how to do.

"That's why he's the son of a coward." another female responds.

"Hey!" Yuzu shouted to the girl who said it, but Yuya merely placed his hand on her shoulder.

Finally, we agree on something.

"Wait!" Shuzo yells out, desperately jumping out in front of the crowd only to get stampeded over by the mob of angry humans.

Yuya shrugged. "Good riddance." He said, before turning around and going the opposite way.

"Yuya…" Yuzu worries for her friend. During their Duel, not once did Yuya behave like he usually did. He wasn't trying to entertain the audience at all. Not to mention Yuya also used to protect his father, but now he not only was silent, but stopped her.

"I don't believe you cheated!"

Surprised by the outburst, Yuya turned and saw a girl about the same age as them. She had long red hair, fair skin and was wearing a white cap. She wears a pink frock with a white long sleeved shirt, a pink tie, black trousers, and white boots.

...Why does she look familliar?

"Yuya fought Ishijima fair and square and won, he won using Pendulum Summon!" The girl yells out.

Gongenzaka walks up behind and rests his hand on the girl's shoulders smiling at him, "Yuya, don't you feel bad that your fan has to say this?" he questions his friend.

"Fan?" Yuya questions in shock.

"Yes. That's Ayu. She visited before." Yuzu says, pointing to the girl.

Yuya widened his eyes. THAT is Ayu!? She looks like the same age as them!

I'm going to get a freaking aneurysm with the amount of changes. Next thing you know Reiji is a girl...

"Ayu became your fan after he saw you battle Ishijima in person!" Ayu tells Yuya.

"I thought you were incredible, your dueling united thousands of spectators into one!" Ayu tells Yuya. "I wanted to duel like that. Duel like Yuya!"

"You were reborn in that duel, you'll never run away again!" Gongenzaka tells his friend confidently.

"Gongenzaka, Ayu…" Yuya says.

"So do your best for your fans!" Gongenzaka tells Yuya, giving him a smile.

"This means You Show School has a new member!" Shuzo says cheering. "I'm burning!"

"So I just gotta steal them?" A female voice said, sitting at what appeared to be a bar. She was throwing darts at a nearby wall.

"Correct. And I won't question your methods." The voice on the Duel Disk said. "You do that, and you'll be the first to get a Deck with Pendulum Cards in them when they are created. Until then, I can also get you some rare cards."

"Sounds like a fair deal." She said, throwing more darts. It's here her full form is revealed. She had blonde and brown hair tied into a ponytail. She was wearing the male uniform of her school, but underneath she wears an unbuttoned grey shirt, that revealed a bit of cleavage, red pants and brown shoes. She also had a green pendant around her neck

"I'm counting on you… Sawatari Sylvia."

Ah! Once again, I have surprised you!

Something interesting I discovered is that Ayu's VA is the same as Esdeath from Akame Ga Kill, and that just made me recoil, so the cap is a bit of an homage to her.

I guess I should share something about me: I hate animes with characters only wearing school uniforms wen they have no reason to do it. Yugioh is a great example of this

In DM, it makes no sense for Yugi to wear the uniform when the rest of the cast isn't.

In GX makes sense because they are literally in a school.

In 5D's there isn't a lot of school episodes.

In Zexal it's a perfect example because Yuma and Shark balance between these two and it makes sense when they are using certain uniforms.

In Arc-V it doesn't make sense for them to wear their school uniform when they go to other Dimensions. Would it be really that hard to draw a new design for three characters.

In VRAINS, it doesn't really matter since the plot doesn't revolve around school.

It's just a pet peeve of mine because I think there would be some great designs for Arc-V characters if YOU JUST REMOVE THE UNIFORM! Just look at Serena and Yuzu! They look amazing with their new designs!

Anyways, here is the ideas I had:

-SI!Cubic: Essentially, a guy gets Isekaid and has the Quantum Cube, essentially becoming Diva/Aigami. OCxEvil!Bracelet Girls (as in they basically get mind controlled.)

-OC!Cubic: Aigami exists in Arc-V and is adopted by the Sakakis. He is Yuya's older brother and taught him how to duel. He would also have a brotherly bond with Yuto, Yugo and Yuri.
