They finished their shopping, and Hermione couldn't find Harry anywhere. Fred seemed to be dealing with this seatback the same way he dealt with everything regarding to her: he was just happy to be around her.

"It seems like we're going to postpone meeting Harry," Fred said, when they were waiting in line to pay. "But I think we can make dinner and discuss about you meeting my uglier half?"

"I think this is an amazing idea," Hermione said, standing on the tip of her toes and quickly kissing Fred's lips. She never was a person to show affection in public, but she felt freer with Fred. "Maybe we can have a cookout at my place?"

"I think this is one of the best ideas you have ever had, besides accepting going out with me, of course." Fred wiggled his eyebrows, making Hermione roll her eyes at him.

"Of course," she mumbled under her breath before a message arrived on her cellphone.

'Sorry I had to leave, crisis at the Potters and apparently, I'm the only one who can deal with it. Raincheck? Looking forward to meeting Fred. Harry'

"Harry had to deal with a familiar crisis, so the idea of the cookout is on." Hermione started putting their purchases in front of the cashier. "I need to remember to ask him when he's free."

The cashier smiled at Hermione while she scanned her purchases. Fred was waiting for her on the other side of the cashier, looking at her like she was holding the sun. Deciding that a night in sounds perfect, Hermione couldn't wait to arrive home, and cuddle with Fred on the couch.

"Have a nice night!" the cashier said to Hermione after she paid and was grabbing the bags.

"Thank you, you too!" Hermione waved, before walking with Fred, taking his hand.

"Why don't I get this," he said, grabbing the bags from her hand, "and you think about what you want to watch when we arrive at your place. You were talking about watching 'Pride and Prejudice', right?"

Hermione beamed at him; she couldn't have found a more perfect man than Fred. He was the man of her dreams, and she hoped they would be together for many years to come.

"I don't want you to make a big deal of it, but you're the perfect man, and I couldn't be happier than I am now with you." Hermione stopped them on the sidewalk and kissed Fred with all her might.

She didn't care who was watching them; she was in love and she was pouring all her feelings into that kiss. It was almost like she couldn't keep her hands off him, not when he's the sweetest.

"You make me happy too," Fred whispered into her mouth, looking into her eyes. "I want to be with you for as long as you want me, and I hope this is for a long time."

Without giving time for her to reply, Fred kissed her again and Hermione was in cloud nine the rest of the walk to her flat.
