*Beep Beep*

Jaden groans and raises his head, a part of him dearly glad that it was the weekend,as he sits up. He then grabs his PDA and starts looking over it, gasping slightly. "That man … he is so annoying waking me up at this time." Jaden throws his PDA away, which pings some more as he starts getting dressed. "Sheesh."

Jaden heads back and opens it, seeing a message from Syrus, dating back to earlier in the day.

'Hey Jay, good morning.' Jaden grumbles as he keeps packing stuff. 'So I'm sure you heard about it. I mean it is the one thing everyone's talking about.' Jaden nods his head as he packs the last of his stuff up. 'Anyway, I went to the main building to buy some tickets. I just want to see that deck.' Jaden chuckles at that as he pulls his bag over his shoulder.

"He's my best friend, but still …" Jaden rubs his hands through his shaggy hair as he heads out towards the main building. It took him awhile as he ended up getting into an argument with a Ra, who was trying to say that Kuriboh shouldn't be an actual card, before he could hear a bit of shouting.

In the card shop, stands Syrus with two face down cards and West Winds Sage on his side of the field, the being had orange runes across its cloak. His body was about the size of Jaden's, his hair a tinge of orange instead. He wielded a staff much like the ones North and South used, however with an orange jewel on top.

On the other stands a rather … eccentric fellow obviously trying to copy Crowler's look. 'Why would anyone want to look like him?' Jaden states, not knowing his opinion is shared with basically everyone in the room. On his side stands a single Ancient Gear Golem.

[West Winds Sage Type: Spellcaster/Attribute: Wind

ATK: 2500

DEF: 1100

You can summon this card by tributing one Breeze Sage. If you do you can activate "Sage Art - Cultivating Winds" from your deck or hand.]

"Now my Ancient Gear Golem, attack and destroy the West Winds Sage! Ancient Iron Knuckle!" With that command, Jaden shudders from the voice sounding like it was a mix of a young kid's … and an ancient old hag's, Ancient Gear Golem pulls it's fist back to slam it into the Sage.

"Sheesh you know I saw that coming." Syrus interrupts as the monster seemingly stops as the other kid freezes.

"Wh-what do you mean?"

"Simply put, you're just copying Professor Crowler's deck. Meaning if I can take out your Ancient Gear, you're done. Which leads me to activate my two facedowns. The first Sage Art - Rusting Gust, and the second Sage Tool - Wand of the West!"

[Sage Art - Rusting Gust

When this card is activated, and a "Sage" monster on the field, all Machine type monsters on the field go to 0 ATK until the end of the turn.]

[Sage Tool - Wand of the West

This card can only be equipped to "West Winds Sage". Whenever "West Winds Sage" destroys an opponent's monster, during the damage step, that damage is doubled.]

The kid gawks at that as West's staff glows, shooting out a brownish wind which hits the sternum/spine of Ancient Gear Golem. From that spot, the rust grows, covering its body in a layer of rust. When the rust reaches up to the glowing eye, it fades out.

ATK: 3000 → 0000

Then in the Sage's free hand a small wand appears as it begins to glow as the winds in the room seem to get a bit heavier. From the wand, a cyclone shoots out as the rusting winds fade, smashing right into the sternum again hitting Syrus's opponent.

"NO!" the boy screams as his voice seemingly turns to normal before he runs off. Syrus starts bouncing in place as Bastion suddenly appears behind him giving him a clap on his back.

"Good job mate! Dimitri, while special about his style of dueling, can be a very dangerous opponent." Syrus simply blushes and stutters over the praise from one of the smartest students. Jaden approaches with a goofy smile, chuckling.

"Well that guy is … interesting. What's his deal Bastion?"

Said Ra gives a small sigh as he looks at the direction Dimitri was going. "Well as I'm sure you heard from Syrus, he's a copycat duelist. From what I know, he was getting into the head of Professor Crowler, but looks like he only knows that combo." Bastion states with a small sweatdrop on his head.

Jaden nods his head and looks at Syrus with a wide grin. "Well good job!" The three boys start laughing as Alexis approaches then, the crowd vanishing after a bit.

"So what was that about Syrus?"

"Oh I was just getting a pair of tickets to see Yugi Muto's deck!" Syrus calls out as Dorothy comes out from behind the desk, chuckling. She hands him the two tickets, which causes Syrus to do a happy dance.

*Beep Beep*

Jaden groans inwardly as he pulls out his PDA, as his eye twitches a bit, seeing an all access pass with a small note attached to it. Jaden ignores the note as he looks to Ms Dorothy. "May I borrow your printer?"

"Of course dear, why if I may ask?"

"Apparently, my uncle decided to get me a semi late birthday present." Jaden grumbles as he plugs it in. A few beeps ring out as five pieces of paper come out. Jaden picks them up and hands them to Syrus, Bastion and Alexis as Jaden holds two. "Gotta give Chumley his pass."

As Jaden leaves, the other three look at the papers they were given.

"Is this …?"

"I think it is."

"How the?!"

In their hands were three passes. "All Access passes to see Yugi Muto's deck! This is given to Jaden Yuki and any who he wants to have it. (note only a maximum of 5 of these passes may be printed out)."

The three just stare at the paper before Syrus and Alexis rush off, with Bastion lagging behind. "I DID ALL THAT WORK! FOR YOU TO HAVE THIS!"

When they finally caught up to Jaden, Alexis not really breathing as hard thanks to all her training, they started interrogating him. Jaden just shys away from them as he sweat drops. "A-as I said it's a late birthday present! Besides my uncle has uhm … connections." Jaden says, not looking at the others as he rubs the back of his head.

"So … that was a waste of time." Syrus hangs his head, still holding onto his and Jaden's tickets.

Jaden sighs and rubs his head a bit more. "Yeah … but it's good that you're getting more- GAH!" Jaden tries to cheer Syrus up when Cyber Blader's spirit appears behind him, slamming her heel against Jaden's head.

Jaden lays on the ground, smoke coming off his head as Alexis glares down at him. "You should say sorry before trying to "cheer" someone up. Besides he was doing that so you both would be able to go."

"Right, right. I am sorry Sy." Jaden groans and rubs the now bruised spot on his head.

Syrus merely sighs before smiling. "Don't worry it's fine. I guess I should hunt down Dimitri and give him the ticket."

"Eh that can wait." Jaden shrugs slightly, smirking. "The exhibit's going to be here for about a week or so."

With that the four head to the Slifer's Dorm to inform Chummley that they all are going to go view Yugi's deck. Unbeknownst to the group, things this night were going to get all kinds of interesting.

With Dimitri, who merely stops before the Obelisk stadium, leaning against the wall, panting. "Stupid Slifer, taking the ticket … I thought Crowler was good! Or at least his cards were."

Dimitri slams the side of his fist against the wall, shaking. "I just want to get stronger! I need to find a good duelist. If I have that duelist's strategies I can be unbeatable!" He then looks up, a picture of Yugi with his deck on display in front of him. A wide, almost twisted smile appears on Dimitri's face.

"But, what if I didn't just have the strategies? What if I had the deck?" Unknown to Dimitri, a dark aura was surrounding him, a small chuckle from under the ground coming up.

Dusk breaks across the horizon as five students enter the building that holds the exhibit. As they walk through, they hear a huge crash. Jaden jumps at the sound and speeds forward towards the shattered casing, and Crowler steaming down another route, a look of horror on his face.

"Mr. Yuki what happened here?!"

"I don't know, we just heard a crash and-" Jaden stops when he notices what's in the center, or at least, the lack of. Jaden's heart stops, a pedestal surrounded by broken glass, rests in the center of the room as his hands twitch slightly, energy appearing around him. "WHAT HAPPENED?!" A small shock, only felt by a handful of people on the island could sense, goes through the area.

Crowler jumps back from the scream, before he straightens up, for once putting a serious look on his face. "Well, I guess from that reaction I would know that you didn't do this." Crowler looks concerned at the pedestal. "That held Yugi's deck. Whoever stole it … they could get a lot of money or even rule the dueling scene."

Everyone else enters the room, just looking on at the scene. Syrus and Alexis, sweating slightly from the explosion of energy, while Chumley is shaking in place. "Jaden, what's going on?" Bastion manages to get close to him to put a hand on his shoulder.

Jaden takes a small breath, before he manages out. "Someone stole Yugi's deck … and we're going to go find it. Professor Crowler, please call Chancellor Shephard and put the island on high alert."

Crowler seems to think a bit. "I wouldn't normally listen to a Slifer Slacker, but you are correct. I'll inform the Chancellor, but you all cannot get hurt. If you find the one who stole the deck, do not approach him if he's dangerous." Jaden looks at Crowler surprised as he turns around, his blue cloak fluttering behind him.

"Either Crowler wants us to be safe"

"Or he just doesn't want the Obelisks to be attacked." Jaden finishes up for Syrus as they all are in the center of the room. Jaden looks over at his friends and growls slightly. "We'll need to split up, so-"

"Yeah, the three of us can go together while you two work." Syrus interrupts, pulling Chumley and Bastion away from the group, leaving Jaden and Alexis alone.

The pair just watch as the trio leave, both in a semi stunned surprise. "Well, we should get started." Alexis says after a bit of silence, walking off with Jaden following.

Jaden groans as Avian's spirit returns along with Infernal Prodigy's. "I'm sorry my king, we haven't found it." Avian states, kneeling as Jaden's eye twitches.

"How? This is Yugi's deck we're talking about. Even if it's only a double of it, it should still send out some kind of signal."

"Jaden, calm down. We'll find it." Alexis speaks up as Jaden groans, running his hands through his hair.

"I know, all the teachers and us are on the lookout, but still. I have an uncomfortable feeling in my gut."

"Same here." A deep voice states behind the pair.

For a few seconds, the two teens don't notice the voice, before they jump and turn around. Before them stood a man with all kinds of janked up hair. Spikes of red, gold, and black going from all angles. He stood about as tall as Jaden, and was wearing a pair of dark pants and a tank top. Around his neck, was a golden reverse pyramid held by a chain. In the center of the pyramid was an eye symbol. Finally, on the man's left arm, was a first gen duel disk without any cards inserted in the center spot.

The teens just gawk at the figure before Alexis manages to get out. "Y-yugi Muto?"

"That's me, and you must be Alexis Rhodes, correct?" Alexis just seems to overheat a bit, nodding at Yugi's question. This causes the famous duelist to smile wide and nod his head. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I had the fortune to meet your mother a long time ago." Alexis just stands there in shock.

"Hey Yugi, do you know where your deck is?" Jaden states, apparently getting over it. Yugi just dejectedly shakes his head with a sigh. "And what are you doing here?"

"Something's blocking their spirits from calling out to me." Jaden just groans at that as Alexis looks between the two, looking confused. "Well … I wanted it to be a surprise for the students. Besides that it would be a good surprise for you too."

"Wait!" Before either men could move, they looked at Alexis. "Do you two know each other?"

Yugi raises an eyebrow and shoots a pointed look at Jaden, who simply jumps slightly at the glare. "Have you not been using your last name?"

"W-well-"

"Wait, is Yuki not Jaden's last name?"

Another glare from Yugi causes Jaden to stammer out. "W-well he said if I-I can't beat him in a duel, I-I'm not allowed to use my l-last name." Jaden shakes his hands in the air as Yugi just glares at him throughout his rambling.

Yugi face palms at this as Yubel appears, laughing at Jaden's situation. This causes said boy to turn red and swat at the spirit. When Yubel finally calms down, they wipe a tear from their left eye, and bow to Yugi. "It's a pleasure to meet you once again great pharaoh."

"Likewise Yubel. I take it you're protecting Jaden as usual?"

"Of course. What kind of guardian would I be if I wasn't?" The two laugh at Jaden's expanse as Alexis just looks on in surprise before managing out.

"Uhm can someone please explain what's going on here?"

The three jump slightly as they look over at Alexis. Yubel then gets a mischievous grin on their face as they bow. "May I formally introduce the Supreme King, Jaden Yuki-Kaiba. The nephew of the world famous Seto Kaiba, and the godson of the King of Games, the Reincarnated Pharaoh Yugi Muto." Jaden's burning a bright shade of red as he swats at Yubel.

Jaden's fuming at this point as Alexis opens her mouth to speak, still stunned by the King of Games being somewhat related to the Slifer Hero. Before she can, however, a strong gust of wind shoots past them, the three humans and spirit turn towards it as Jaden's eyes widen. "I'm pretty sure that's Syrus." With that, him and Alexis run towards where the gust came from, Yugi lagging behind a little with a sorrowful smirk on his face.

"Reminds me of when I was younger."

Going back to when Syrus and the other two left:

"Syrus, mate. Why did you do this?"

"Yeah, those two might end up doing it." Chumley just states with a dumb grin on his face, the other two cringing at his comment.

"No, I'm doing this because well … I have a gut feeling." Syrus states with a small blush, managing to get the other two boys to the edge of the area. "Besides, do you want to be around when Jaden finds the thief?"

Both he and Bastion shiver as memories of the duel giant enter into their heads. "Good point, but what do you have a gut feeling about?"

Syrus gulps a bit, and holds up two fingers. "1. Who stole the deck, and 2. Where they are."

"How can you tell?" Bastion questions, Chumley agreeing as Syrus shifts his eyes towards Four Winds Sage's spirit form.

"As I said, a gut feeling." Syrus breathes out a bit, the wind blowing around him as he turns his head towards the coast. "That way, and well I think Dimitri stole the deck." Before the other two could question, Syrus runs.

"Why do you think Dimitri stole the deck?"

"Jealousy, wanting a good deck? I honestly don't know, but whatever the case, his defeat to me would explain it. Being frustrated that Professor Crowler's deck didn't work. Well it makes sense to me." Syrus rambles for a bit, blushing as the three get to the coast seeing a yellow robed figure staring out into the ocean.

"Dimitri!" Bastion calls out. The figure turns around, his hair a disjointed spike as he laughs.

"Hey Bastion! Do you like the new style?" His voice, seemingly wavering between both his normal and a deeper voice. "I think I'm going to be a great duelist now."

"You already were Dimitri!" Bastion responds, his voice rising as he realizes Syrus was right.

The shorter boy stepped forward, looking at Dimitri, raising up his duel disk. "Dimitri, return Yugi's deck. I'm sure you won't get into too much trouble if this gets out … maybe." Syrus gulps as he stares at the boy, who's grin becomes wider.

"Syrus, I was just about to come looking for you. I was hoping for a rematch for the tickets." He goes to interrupt before tilting his head. "What do you mean 'Yugi's deck'?" He then places his hand over the deck holster. "This is my deck after all. I just got done creating it."

Syrus sighs and glares at Dimitri as his disk activates. "Fine, but when you lose, you're giving back the deck."

"HAha." Dimitri gives out a weazed laugh. "Alright time to duel!"

Dimitri: 4000

Truesdale: 4000

"I'll go first!" Syrus draws and looks over his hand. "I summon Breeze Sage in attack mode, subsequently activating Halo Gust from my deck!"

Breeze Sage appears, a wind picking up as a wind seems to angle around his head. He smiles and glows with some green.

[Breeze Sage Type: Spellcaster/Attribute: Wind

ATK: 1200

DEF: 1000

When this monster is summoned, you may cast one spell card with "Halo Gust" from your hand or deck.]

ATK: 1200 → 2000

"I then set two cards face down to end my turn." Syrus sets the two said cards, gulping slightly as Dimitri draws.

"Alright, I'll start out by activating Polymerization to fuse Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts and Berfomet into Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast in attack mode!"

A beast growls and jumps from behind Dimitri, standing proudly as two heads growl.

[Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast Type:Beast/Attribute:Wind

ATK: 2100

DEF: 1800]

"Now Chimera will strike down your Breeze Sage!" The beast leaps towards Syrus who simply chuckles, activating a face down.

"I activate Sage Tool - Guiding Stump! This allows me to summon a "Guiding Stump" Token monster onto the field when you declare an attack. It then allows me to change your target."

[Sage Tool - Guiding Stump

When an opponent's monster declares an attack, summon a 0 ATK 0 DEF, "Guiding Stump" token in defense mode. All battle damage involving this monster becomes 0]

A stump next to Breeze Sage appears, a makeshift face on it as it's surrounded by rocks with runes on it. A gust of wind pushes Chimera towards the stump, destroying it in an instant.

Dimitri frowns at this as he sets a card face down. "Sheesh, didn't think you'd have a card like that. I set two cards and end my turn."

"Then I'll start mine with a spell card. Sage Art - Sensual Breeze! When this card is activated I can special summon a Sage monster from my hand onto the field. With it I'll summon Gust Sage!"

[Sage Art - Sensual Breeze

If you have "Breeze Sage" on the field, you can special summon one level four or lower "Sage" monster from your hand to the field.]

A light blue shine comes from a spot next to Breeze, as a robed kid appears, similar to Breeze himself. The rimming of his hat and the jewel in his staff shines a soft light blue tinge. "My god! It's been a while huh?"

[Gust Sage Type:Spellcaster/Attribute:Wind

ATK: 1200

DEF: 1100

When this monster is summoned, you can add to your hand or activate "Gusting Halo" from your deck or hand. If "Breeze Sage" is on the field, you can add another "Sage" monster, spell or trap card to your hand.]

A halo appears around Gust Sage, as his attack points shoot up to meet Breeze's thanks to the card.

ATK: 1200 → 2000

[Gust Halo

This card can only be equipped to a "Sage" monster. When this card is equipped, the monster gains 800 ATK. If this card is sent from the field to the graveyard, add one "Breeze Sage" or "Gust Sage" from your graveyard to your hand.

"But neither of my monsters will stay on the field for long." Syrus states as Dimitri narrows his eyes slightly. "You see my Wind Sages have an ability which allows them to fuse without the power of a polymerization." Dimitri audibly gulps at this as the two sages cross their staves, the jewels on both glowing as winds swirl.

Light blue and light green winds mix together as they just form a mini hurricane. Inside the hurricane, two shadows seemingly become one as a green haired sage steps out of the wind. A soft green color scheme meets as the winds push apart.

"Meet Spring Winds Sage!" Syrus declares as Spring Winds raises it's staff.

[Spring Winds Sage Attribute:Wind/Type: Spellcaster

ATK: 2200

"Breeze Sage" + "Gust Sage"

You do not need to use Polymerization to fuse this monster. When this monster is summoned, you can add 1 Breeze Sage from your graveyard to the hand, and then activate "Sage Tools - Fan Generator" from your hand or deck.]

Syrus then pulls from his deck a card. This card has a fan on the center which shows a hard wind blowing from it, with sage runes on its edge.

[Sage Tool - Fan Generator

If this card is on the field when an opponent's monster is destroyed by battle with a "Sage" monster, Special Summon a level 4 or lower "Sage" monster from your hand at the end of the battle phase.]

"Now go Spring Winds, crush Chimera!" The sage chuckles and raises his staff, wind forming around the crystal as a pollen fills the air. As it keeps filling the winds slam down onto Chimera's back, destroying it in a second.

Dimitri: 3900

After the destruction occurs, Breeze Sage returns to the field, his attack being at 2000 thanks to the Halo.

Dimitri grunts and smirks slightly as he brings a card from his graveyard. "Chimera's ability allows me to special summon a Gazelle or Berfomet from my graveyard. I choose Berfomet in defense mode!"

[Berfomet Attribute: Dark/Type: Fiend

ATK: 1400

DEF: 1800]

Syrus simply nods his head, setting a small card face down. Dimitri draws his next card and smiles. Syrus's eyes widen as a dark aura covers the recently drawn card. "I sacrifice my Berfomet, to summon my Copy Beast in attack mode!"

"What? I've never heard of that card!" Bastion states in surprise as Berfomet gets replaced by a mannequin in the shape of a dog.

"This is a card that I re-"

"You'd change Yugi's deck!" Syrus states, his hands shaking as Dimitri frowns.

"As I said before this is my deck. This card's ability is quite unique too."

[Copy Beast Attribute:Earth/ Type: Beast

"Now Copy Beast! Transform into Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast!" Dimitri commands as the mannequin like monster jumps into the air. It then shifts and becomes more real, the fully fledged beast landing on all fours as it roars.

ATK: 0000 → 2100

The beast growls as it glares at Spring Winds, Dimitri smirking. "But I'm not done! I activate Pot of Greed to draw two more cards." Dimitri draws and his grin widens. "And look at that I drew the spell card "A Copy's Pride"! If a copy monster is copying a monster in the graveyard, that monster doubles it's attack until the end of the turn. So sharpen your claws my Beast! Rip Breeze Sage to ribbons!"

With that the monster jumps, lunging towards the young Sage, Syrus groans inwardly. He looks over his cards and cringes, closing his eyes. "I'm sorry Spring."

"It's fine master!" Spring Winds replies with a large smile. "If I can help my brothers, then I'm more than fine being a sacrifice." Spring Winds gives Syrus a small thumbs up. He nods his head and taps a card.

"I activate Sage Art - Guiding Winds! With this card I can change the target of one of your monster's attacks. I now command your Beast to attack my Spring Winds!" Winds rise up, as the winds shift. Copy Beast's head no longer faces Breeze Sage, a growl on it's lips. It's fangs and claws dig into Spring Winds Sage, who grimaces.

The shockwave of the attack ripples towards Syrus, who throws his hands up as a gust slams into him.

Truesdale: 4000 → 2000

"Half of my LP, in one attack!" Syrus stumbles back as a dark energy surrounds Copy Beast.

"Hey, why'd you flinch?" Dimitri tilts his head, obviously confused as Copy Beast laughs.

"No reason." Syrus groans and looks at the Beast, who is still sniggering and growling. Syrus waves it off a bit. As Syrus recollects himself, Dimitri sets a card face down. Syrus starts his turn, drawing a card and sighs. "I sacrifice Breeze Sage, to summon West Winds Sage!"

[West Winds Sage Type: Spellcaster/Attribute: Wind

ATK: 2500

You can summon this card by tributing one Breeze Sage. If you do you can activate "Sage Art - Cultivating Winds" from your deck or hand.]

"I then activate Cultivating Winds, this card allows me to normal summon again. Thanks to West Winds' ability, I can add East Winds Sage from my hand to the deck." A card appears with a movement of wind over a field blowing, and moving what looks like wheat.

[Sage Art - Cultivating Winds

While you control a Sage monster, you will be able to normal summon a monster once again. If this card was activated through the ability of "West Winds Sage", you can add one Sage monster from your deck to your hand.]

Syrus pulls another card out and shifts his hand. "I then activate Sage Art - Cycling Breeze. WIth this card, I can banish a Sage monster from the field, and special summon Breeze Sage from my grave. At the end of the turn, my monster returns to the field and I banish the Breeze Sage."

[Sage Art - Cycling Breeze

Target one "Sage" monster on the field, banish that card until the end of the turn. Then special summon a "Breeze Sage" from the graveyard in attack mode, its effects are negated. At the end of the turn, banish that "Breeze Sage '' wherever it is in play and resummon the previous "Sage" monster, with it's effects negated.]

The West Winds smiles at that as he holds up a small peace sign, right before vanishing. Breeze Sage appears standing where West Winds once was. "I now sacrifice Breeze Sage to summon East Winds Sage in attack mode!"

A green wind blows as a woman appears in the center, a smile on her face as various green runes shine on her robes. The winds keep blowing as she poses.

[East Winds Sage Attribute: Wind/Type: Spellcaster

ATK: 2500

You can summon this card by tributing one Breeze Sage. If you do you can activate "Sage Art - Enlightening Winds" from your deck or hand.]

"Now Enlightening Winds has the same base effect as Cultivating Winds. However, the upside is by revealing all the Sage monsters in my hand, I can regain 400 LP per monster!"

[Sage Art - Enlightening Winds

While you control a Sage monster, you will be able to normal summon a monster once again. If this card was activated through the ability of "East Winds Sage", you can reveal all Sage monsters from your hand and regain 400 LP per monster.]

Syrus then pulls out 3 cards, revealing a Cold Front Sage, Breeze sage, and Backdraft Sage. From the Enlightening Winds card, a green wind kicks up. It goes over to Syrus before enveloping him, rehealing him.

Truesdale: 2000 → 3200

"I now attack your Copy Beast!" Syrus declares as East Wind's staff glows, a cyclone in front of it. East Winds let's off her attack as it encircles Copy Beast. It growls and whimpers, revealing its true form. The beast writhes in the cyclone before being destroyed.

Dimitri: 3900 → 3400

Dimitri groans from that as Syrus smiles. "Let's not forget my Fan, this allows me to summon one of the few normal monsters in my deck. Come on out! Heat Front Sage!" A pure red clothed Sage appears, a smile on his face as he lands next to East Winds.

"Now that they're on the field, I fuse my two Sages!" Light blue and red winds appear, and slowly merge together. Out from the wind, an androgenous person steps forth. Their staff, a shining grey jewel on top. Their robes are a flowing mix of blue and red, mixing simply to a grey look.

Syrus pulls out the two Sages, revealing them from his hand. He then discards one spell as he looks up. "With that I end my turn, allowing me to return West Winds Sage back to the field. Of course I banish my Breeze Sage." Placing the Breeze Sage card into his back pocket, he pulls out West Winds Sage and summons them.

"Nice turn. You destroyed my monster and you got three fairly strong ones onto the field." Dimitri draws a card, his smile widens. "But I just got a card that'll turn the tables. I activate Brain Control! I think I'll use it to take your Hurricane Sage!"

A pair of hands appear, spectral energy reaching towards Hurricane Sage's head, bringing it over to Dimitri's side. "I then activate double summon so that I can summon my Beta the Magnet Warrior."

[Beta the Magnet Warrior Attribute: Earth/Type: Rock

ATK: 1700

"I now sacrifice your monster and my own to summon Dark Magician!" As he speaks, his voice goes a bit deeper, the purple colored magician steps forth, the two other monsters fading away.

[Dark Magician Attribute: Dark/Type: Spellcaster

"But that won't be the end as I equip him with the Magic Formula, to increase his attack by 700 points." The book appears in Dark Magician's hand, which opens up, a purple energy surrounding him.

ATK: 2500 → 3200

"I then attack your West Winds Sage, Dark Magic Attack!" An orb of power surrounds Dark Magician's staff, which launches out to slam into West Winds. Both the sage and Syrus flinch, a wave of air pushing off from the destroyed Sage, slamming into Syrus.

Truesdale: 3200 → 2500

"I now activate Copy/Paste! A spell card that lets me discard a card and summon a Copy monster from my hand. Though it'll have to take the properties of the discarded card. So I discard Dark Magician Girl to summon my Copy Sorcerer!"

[Copy/Paste (And since I didn't specify at all this is a quick play spell so it can be played in the middle of the battle phase .)

"Not only that I activate my Copied Spellbook through my Sorcerer's ability. With it I'll banish my Magic Formula, and activate it again through my Spellbook!" The copied spellbook appears, falling into the Copy's hand, which releases a purple energy which surrounds it.

ATK: 2000 → 2700

"Now my Sorcerer! Destroy his East Winds Sage!" The copy smiles wide, a burning flame appearing on top of its staff. As it lifts up the staff, the attack about to be sent flying Syrus groans.

"I activate a card in my graveyard, Sage Tool - Protective Cloak. This card allows me to banish it from the grave if it was sent there by a Sage card." Syrus states pulling the card out, it looks like a current of wind bending over and wrapping around a Sage.

[Sage Tool - Protective Cloak

Equip this card to a "Sage" monster. When this card is equipped to the monster, they cannot be destroyed by battle or card effect once per turn. If this card is sent to the graveyard by the effect of a "Sage" card, banish the card from the graveyard (except for the turn it was sent to the graveyard), negate the destruction of one "Sage" monster on the field.]

"That must have been the card that Syrus discarded." Bastion speaks up finally, his eyes glued onto the duel in front of him.

"Y-yeah, no kidding." Chumley states, sitting down on a rock.

"That's right I was thinking something like this would happen, but I didn't think I'd have to use it now." Syrus frowns and flinches again, the blast slamming into East Winds Sage. "I didn't think you'd summon another monster so soon." He clarifies as his monster survives the magic.

Truesdale: 2500 → 2300

"Dang … well I guess that's my turn." Dimitri chuckles, smiling at Syrus. "So what do you think of my deck? Freakishly strong isn't it?"

Syrus simply nods his head, managing to draw a card. "I activate Pot of Greed to draw two more cards." With that Syrus pulls the two cards and gives a soft smirk. "I activate Sage Art - Winds of Revival! By sending three cards from the top of my deck to the graveyard, I can revive one "Sage" monster from the graveyard, and that monster will be West Winds."

[Sage Art - Winds of Revival

Target a "Sage" monster from your graveyard, discard the top three cards in your deck, special summon that monster. Its effects are negated.]

The monster appears on the field, having a bit of frizzled hair as he glares at Dark Magician, who seems to shift a bit uncomfortably. "I then activate monster reborn to summon your Dark Magician Girl to the field!"

[Dark Magician Girl Attribute: Dark/Type: Spellcaster

ATK: 2000

"Hi there~! Cyren it's so good to see you!" She giggles as she touches down, giving Syrus a big hug, causing the boy to start sputtering and flailing his arms.

"H-how can I touch you?!"

"I'm a spirit~, but with this system I can get a more solid form … or at least something like that." She giggles and gets off Syrus, the boy now a red sputtering mess as the other three just look at him confused.

Syrus shakes his head, collecting his cool again as he grabs a card. "Now this is the end! I activate the Sage Tool - Compass Rose. This card is the only fusion card in the entire deck. I can only use it on a specific fusion with a specific monster." Syrus then takes the two cards from his hand, revealing North and South Winds Sage. "I now fuse my four Sages to summon Four Winds Sage!"

[Sage Tool - Compass Rose

This card can be used to fuse "Four Winds Sage" if the materials are on the field or in your hand. Send all monsters required to the graveyard and at the end of the turn, send "Four Winds Sage" to the graveyard and Special Summon the materials, their effects are negated.]

The four sages appear, crossing their staffs, as four winds flush and combine, covering their bodies. As the winds eventually die down, a man walks out, the wind bending around him as he stands next to DMG.

[Four Winds Sage Attribute: Wind/Type: Spellcaster

This card can only be fusion summoned by "North Winds Sage", "South Winds Sage", "East Winds Sage", and "West Winds Sage". You do not need Polymerization for this fusion summon. If this card is fusion summoned, you may activate "Force of the Four Winds." This card is unaffected by the effects of "Force of the Four Winds". If "Dark Magician Girl" is on the field when this card is fusion summoned, this card can make two attacks on monsters this turn.]

The gray cloaked sage materializes on the field, standing next to the pink tinted magician. "It has been a long time, DMG."

"It definitely has been Four Winds." The blonde smiles before turning back to face her master and the copy. "Now let's see some of your magic!"

Four Winds nods as Syrus activates Force of the Four Winds. "Now! All of the monsters on the field are switched to the opposite positions, except for my Four Winds Sage and Dark Magician Girl!" A storm starts to kick off as Four Winds Sage raises his wand, which glows red, green, blue and blue, the winds kicking up in the air.

"In that case, my own Dark Magician Girl is unaffected as well." Dimitri groans inwardly as he looks at his copied sorcerer. 'If I let this attack hit …' Dimitri then looks towards his hand and smirks. "I will activate Re-Copy! With this I'll turn my Copy Sorcerer into Dark Magician!"

Bastion blinks and coughs a bit, regaining his voice as Chumley looks confused at the play. "I see, by doing this he can have both of his Magicians destroyed and not lose any LP."

Syrus slightly frowns at that as he looks at his Sage. "Destroy those two magicians Four Winds Sage! Four Directions Blast!"

Said Sage raises his staff, the four main colors start to collide and swirl around his staff. He then points it towards Dimitri's side, whispering something under his breath as a hurricane blows forward. As it collides on his side, the magicians drop their books, which glow a soft green as energy floods into Dimitri.

Dimitir: 3400 → 4400 → 5400

"And now Dark Magician Girl! Using your effect and the secondary effect of Force of the Four Winds, gain 3000 attack." DMG giggles and glows, an energy pulsing around her in a shade of purple and pink.

DMG: ATK 2000 → 5000

"Wait how does that work?" Chumley regains his voice, looking at Bastion who slightly shrugs.

"It's because of the Force of the Four Winds." Syrus clarifies with a smile, Dimitri standing across from him with a curious and confused look. "It makes it to where all Sages in the graveyard are counted as "Dark Magician" as long as Dark Magician Girl is on my side of the field. At the moment, there are 9 Sages in my graveyard then there is the Dark Magician in your graveyard to make it 10. Thus adding 3000 attack to DMG. Now crush him with a Dark Burning Attack!"

A pink orb of thundering magic appears on her staff, as DMG raises it. The energy floods it as she winks sending the orb flying. It soars right towards Dimitri, who jumps slightly before it crashes into him.

Dimitri: 5400 → 400

He groans after the attack, dust raised as he takes a step back, a shocked and semi defeated look on his face. Syrus, on the other hand, has a wide grin on his face. "I set three cards face down and end my turn, returning my four base sages to the field." The older sage sigh and winks at Syrus before fading. In his place four Sages appear, two on one side of DMG on the other side the other two.

"Your turn Dimitri." Syrus states, and at the same time everyone jumps at "Is he the one that stole the deck?"

Jaden runs down, a semi look of surprise and with a hint of anger as he joins Bastion and Chumley.

"Yes. Dimitri stole the deck and seemed to add some … strange cards to it as well." Bastion clarifies, his eyes still slightly widened from Syrus's play. "However Syrus has him on the ropes. If he can't deal more than 2500 damage this turn Syrus wins." Jaden nods as Alexis and Yugi join him, the latter looking at Dimitri with a semi furious look.

"He added cards to MY deck?" Yugi practically growls, a dark aura around him. This causes Jaden and Alexis to flinch at the intensity, as Bastion nods.

"Yes it appears so." He states, eyes locked on the duel. It took a few seconds before he jumped and turned towards Yugi. "WAIT?! Why is Yugi Muto here?! The king of games?"

"I came here as a surprise for the students, but then this happened." Yugi answers with a heavy sigh.

"Be careful Syrus!" Jaden states while the genius talks to Yugi, taking a careful step. Syrus looks back and nods at Jaden before Dimitri finally makes his move.

"I banish three copy cards from my graveyard!" This catches everyone's attention, as they wait for the monster he summons. "I now bring forth the majesty of the Copy King!"

Another pale white mannequin appears, landing in the center of Dimitri's side of the field. On its head is a pale and fake looking crown. Surrounding it is a regal robe that reaches the floor, and in its hands is an orb with a cross on top and a cane, respectively in the left and right hands.

[Copy King Attribute:Light/Type:Warrior

This card cannot be normal or special summoned. This card can only be summoned by banishing 3 "Copy" cards from the graveyard. When this card is summoned this way, name 1 monster card in your deck, this card is treated as that card while on the field. Discard 1 "Copy" card from your hand to the graveyard, draw one card. Target 1 "Copy" monster on the field and declare a monster card that has been in play, that target is now the declared monster card. Each ability of "Copy King" can only be used once per turn.

ATK: 3000

DEF: 0000]

When the monster fully appeared on the field, a small layer of dark fog appeared on the ground around them all. This causes Jaden, Yugi and Alexis to perk up, the first having his eyes transform into a light gold. "Freedom!" the fog hissed as the Copy King looks at its hands, before looking at Dimitri who seems not to notice.

"Now my Copy King, become Dark Magician!" Yugi was the first to jump as he took a step forward, the mannequin shifting to become his dear partner.

"Yes! Oh great Pharaoh I wish you had kept your gods, then I could incinerate this welp for even challenging a king. However that is not needed." Copy King speaks, an evil smile on Dark Magician's face.

"I now activate Mind Control! With this card I'll take over DMG!" A brain appears with a pair of ghostly hands next to it, shooting out as it grabs DMG's head slowly pulling her to the other side.

She looks back at Syrus and gives a sad smile. "I'm sorry."

As she lands next to Copy King, she gains a vacant look in her eyes. Copy King smiles and looks at Syrus, then to Jaden and Yugi. "The consequences of this shadow game … I wonder what I should make it." He gives a sadist smile as their eyes widen. "Oh I know. The loser's soul is given to the KING! Now Dimitri!" Syrus gasps at that, shivering at the sheer confidence in the spirit's voice.

Once again, Dimitri doesn't seem to notice Copy King's voice, but he smiles. "I activate the king's ability. By dropping one copy card in my hand, I'll draw a card. So I will be discarding my Copy Knight, to draw." As Dimitri draws the card, his smile widens. "And I'll activate Dark Burning Magic!"

Yugi gasps softly, as a hand grabs the millennium puzzle. "This is over." The four students look at him curiously. "Dark Burning Magic, a card I only use if I'm in an actual predicament. It's ability, if Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl are on the field, is to destroy all your opponents cards."

This causes the four to gulp roughly and look at the duel again, Syrus's face turning a strange shade of green. "Now my Magicians! Destroy all cards on Syrus's field!" The Copy King's smile widens at that as he raises his staff, DMG crossing her staff with his. A burning black orb appears on hers while a dark energy appears on top of the King's. As they bring their staves down, a mixture of their attack burning forth, destroying all in its path.

The attack slams into Syrus's side, each of his sages, cringe and cry out in pain, causing the spirit sensitive to wince. "Now end the duel Copy King!" With that the Copy King appears in front of Syrus in the staff blazing with energy.

"Game over Sage. My next target is the King. After all" The Copy King looks up to Jaden, a piercing glare. "There can only be one" And with that the energy slams into Syrus's chest, sending him flying backwards. Jaden catches him with ease as the Copy King chuckles. Jaden's head shoots up, his eyes a blazing gold as the Copy King reverts to his Mannequin form. On his crown, a green jewel appears, shining in the moonlight.

Jaden growls and pulls out his Duel Disk taking a step towards Dimitri. "Oh, you're going to duel me next?" A chipper voice comes from Dimitri, who seems to be straightening up and getting a deeper voice.

"Yeah, I'm going to beat you and take back Yugi's deck." 'And Dimitri's soul!' Jaden glares as Dimitri sets up, the Copy King turning translucent next to his user.
