A/N: I know Blair's a girl, just until the reveal she'll be called a he in narration :P.
It's early morning, and there was a certain blue clad teacher, dragging his feet. If you were to look at him, he looked like Skeletor was trying to be a cheerleader. His sunken eyes as if he had stayed up for 10 nights. Well in Professor Crowler's own words he probably has. 'I cannot believe this. Why does Mr. Kaiba care about the Slifer Slackers?!'
Crowler shivers, stumbling a step, putting a hand on the wall, as he recalls the events of last week, still seared in his head.
"Are you serious?" Kaiba practically growls, a defeated Crowler on the ground, looking up at the brown haired tyrant. "These funds are meant to put all the students on the same ground, so they all can learn well. Yet you're putting only three percent of the budget into renovating the Red dorm? They may be the lowest tiers, but that simply means that they need the support more." He grabs a stack of papers, glaring down at the blue head. "You're either going to get down to work hiring more workers to renovate all three dorms, or we're going to duel and if you lose." Kaiba glares at Crowler, who's shaking in his boots. "You're fired, and there will be no place for you in the dueling world."
With that Kaiba turns around, leaving a ruined Crowler and a shocked school board. Banner looks between everyone and gently coughs. "Dr. Crowler, I suggest you get to work … though do you need to clean yourself off?" This gets a subtle laugh from the rest of the board.
Professor Crowler shivers at the memory, as he gets into his office, still seeing another stack of papers. He groans and sits down, grabbing a pen that seemed to drip his blood. Crowler looks out the window, his eyes going towards where the red dorm is. "Th-this has to be that boy's fault! Y-yes ever since he came here!" Crowler grits his teeth. "I'll get Jaden Yuki out of this school one way or ano-"
"Crowler!" Sheppard calls over the intercom, making the man jump. "I need the next set of papers for the construction workers permission to work on the Slifer Dorm. So please hurry."
Crowler gets a dead face again as he goes back to writing.
"ACHOO!" Jaden rubs his nose a bit, sitting at the red "cafeteria" looking around a bit. "Did somebody talk about me?" Jaden absentmindedly speaks out, causing Syrus to look at him.
"Nuh-uh." Syrus states through the food in his mouth, before he eats it up completely. "It could be just allergies, this place is pretty dusty."
Jaden simply shakes his head, as Banner walks to the front of the room. "Ahem, if I could have everyone's attention!" People's heads turn at that, as Professor Banner and a kid stand before the crowd. "I have two announcements for today! The first, there has been a heavy push in the student board." Banner smiles at this as he raises a hand. "In a couple weeks, we are still unsure of when it'll happen, but there will be a widespread renovation of the dorm!"
This gets a loud cheer from the students, a few of them almost in tears, others muttering about how there will be some hot water. Jaden smirks at this, having an idea of this change, before Banner gets everyone to calm down.
"Yes, yes, it will be great to have this all done. We may even have single bunk bed rooms instead of the triples we usually go with." A few more students cheer at that before Banner continues. "The second order of business, we have a new student joining us today. He is a late entry, so I would like you all to welcome Blair Flannigan to our Slifer Red Family!" Banner calls out, a resounding cheer welcoming the new kid.
Banner then goes over to Jaden, smiling as he looks at Jaden's group. "I would like you three to guide and show Blair around. Make him feel at home." Banner smiles and walks off, leaving the younger kid with the three boys.
The three look at each other, before Blair is grabbed by some other students, seeming to be partying. They then shrug, as they continue to eat.
"-and this is the Obelisk Blue duel arena." Syrus states, looking around the room, and then at Blair, who looks at the environment.
"It's really … shiny?" Blair chuckles, before freezing, looking at the two duelists in the center, an Obelisk Blue cringing as a laser shoots off.
Across from the Blue, stands Zane, as his Twin Cyber Dragon seems to be towering over his opponent's monsters. "It seems you were all just talk after all."
"No way … I was gonna crush you and become the king of this academy!" The opposing Blue shouts, wincing as the second mouth of TCD glows.
"Sorry but you lost the second you challenged me without a plan." He closes his eyes, flicking his hand as the blast rings off, destroying the boy's monster in a single shot, reducing his LP to 0. With that Zane walks off, barely paying attention to anyone or anything around him, an air of pride around him.
Blair just watches in awe, causing Jaden and Syrus to sweatdrop. "He's so cool!" Blair seems to almost jump, like he wanted to launch himself at Zane, but Jaden keeps his hand on Blair's coat.
"Calm down, trust me Zane is not the easiest person to deal with … no offense Sy." Jaden plain faces, keeping a good hold onto Blair's coat as he looks up to Jaden.
"What do you mean? He's an amazing duelist and he's won a lot of tournaments!" Blair continues on, bouncing like an excited puppy as Syrus sweat drops as well. Chumley is watching on, an amused grin on his face as he chuckles.
"Dang we got a real Duel Kaizer fanboy on our hands. Maybe you should tell him some embarrassing stories about your brother Syrus." Chumley laughs which causes Blair to turn towards Syrus. The two look at each other for a while before Blair sighs.
"There's no way this shrimp is the brother to Zane." Blair scowls slightly, before gushing about how cool Zane is again. This leads to Syrus almost face planting, before rubbing his head slightly.
The four bicker before Blair looks towards the pale yellow building they were heading for. "Uhm why are we going to the Ra dorm?"
"Study group." Syrus states as they stand in front of the door. As Blair looks at him confused, Syrus turns a soft pink. "Bastion is one of the smartest people in the school, and he helps with working through our school work."
"Unless you're me." Jaden pipes up with a goofy grin. "I really just need help with keeping my attention on school subjects. Everything else this school teaches has been practically nailed into my head."
Blair looks at him confused as Bastion opens the door. Greeting the other's he turns his attention to Blair. "Oh hello there … Do we know each other?"
"Oh uh nope, never seen your face." Blair jumps at this, coughing lightly. Jaden raises an eyebrow at that, while Bastion leads the four in.
Chumley groans, holding his head in his hands, the others looking at him with sweat drops. "Why is this so complicated?" Bastion sighs at that, looking over at him.
"Well it's mostly because strategies are very complicated as is."
"Unless you're Crowler, he'll just summon his golem in the first turn and forget to set up any defenses." Jaden snorts as he retorts Bastion's comment, who laughs at that. Blair gives a little chuckle as well, before Chumley pulls out a small notebook. This causes the two Slifers to smile.
"Still I don't see why you don't just transition to the card designing course. Your art and homemade cards are awesome." Syrus speaks up, causing Chumley to blush slightly.
"Stop it, it's not that impressive." Jaden frowns at that right before Blair reaches over and grabs it, causing the others to look at him shocked.
Flipping through the book reveals various hero and sage cards, before Chumley snatches his notebook back. "D-don't just do that! At least ask!" Chumley grumbles, making sure his notebook is still ordered well.
"They all looked cool though!" Blair speaks up, pouting a little from Chumley taking it back. Chumley grumbles again at that, glaring at Blair, who sticks his tongue out at Chumley.
"Let's get off this topic." Bastion speaks up, as the other two glare at each other before looking away with a little huff. "Anyway, how about we show off our decks?" Jaden frowns at that and lightly snorts.
"Dude you have like 5 decks." Bastion simply smiles at that, chuckling lightly. "But alright, I am curious to see if any of us has any new cards. Plus I'm wondering what your playstyle is Blair." Jaden smiles brightly at that, causing Blair to blush slightly as he works at a small pouch at his waist. He pulls out his cards and coughs lightly.
"Just uhm don't judge me ok?" He says as he starts laying down the cards, all of them revolving around Maiden of Love.
Jaden's eyebrow raises at that, discreetly looking towards Yubel, before turning his attention at Blair's cards again. "Wow, that's a lot of Love cards."
"A-as I said don't judge me. I've had these cards for a long time alright." The other three smile at that, before Bastion speaks up.
"I can see quite a few strategies you can use, especially since the Maiden of Love can't be destroyed by battle. If you can add a card that makes it immune to card effects, that would make it more effective. Not only that, if you added Spirit Barrier then you'd get rid of the only negative of Maiden's ability: That you take damage from the attacks." Blair nods at that, his eyes widening, before everyone's PDAs beep. They all check, Jaden groaning inwardly.
"Great, a 'performance' of an Obelisk apparently 'punishing' a Slifer." Jaden snorts slightly, a bit of a malicious light in his eyes. "I think Crowler's still pissed at what Uncle Seto did."
Blair looks at Jaden, his eyes wide at what he said. "Wait what did you-"
"Come on, let's go!" Syrus states, trying to fan Blair away and pushing him out.
The five walk down back towards the Obelisk Stadium, as Jaden and Bastion are talking. "I'm serious though man, cut your decks down to 1 maybe 2 if you just want the options."
"But what if my opponent knows how my decks would be played?"
"Adapt." Jaden shrugs at that, chuckling as Bastion frowns deeply at that. "I mean come on, sure it's impressive, and you're definitely a genius enough to keep many strategies, but if you simplify it all it'd probably help. Like with only 1, you would know the ins and outs, simply enough to completely know and work with your weaknesses." Bastion frowns at that, nodding slightly.
"I'll think about it." With that Bastion caught up to the rest of the group. Now with no one distracting him, Jaden's eyes widen, glancing around.
"Avian, Burstinatrix."
'Yes, your majesty?'
"Find Blair. I have an uncomfortable feeling in my gut." Jaden glances around, the two spirits flying off towards the Obelisk dorms.
Blair peeks from behind a tree, seeing the last Obelisk Blue student walking out, seemingly excited for the duel. Blair looks up, seeing where Zane's room is as he begins to sneak through, hiding and moving slowly. Eventually, Blair gets to the door and breathes slowly, quickly pulling out a hairpin and unlocking the door.
Stepping in, Blair practically squeals, jumping onto Zane's bed, bouncing on it slightly. "Oh god this is …" Blair jumps up and starts rummaging around, grabbing Zane's deck box, a huge grin plastered on his face. Holding the box close to his chest, Blair looks around more, and turns a dark shade of red, seeing one of Zane's drawers open slightly.
Meanwhile, outside, the flying pair of spirits glance around. 'If his majesty is right, then there's a likelihood that he's at the blue dorm.' Avian speaks up, the wind moving as he flies over the heads of some students.
'Agreed, not only that, there's a chance that they'll do something incredibly stupid.' Burstinatrix snarls at that, the air getting hot and heavy as she moves. The two scour through the male dorm, before finding Zane's room, practically the top of the mansion.
Burstinatrix looks around, as Avian phazes through the door, his eyes widening as Blair is practically sniffing at one of Zane's shirts. 'I think I'm going to be sick.'
'What did you find- Oh my Ra!' Burstinatrix facepalms at that, sighing loudly before Avian moves outside the door with Burstinatrix.
Avian closes his eyes, as a rush of wind and shadows fill the air, before Jaden steps out of the vortex. "My god Avian, you didn't need to tell me that." Jaden grumbles and looks at Burstinatrix, who has a half shocked and half amused look on her face.
Taking a quick breath, Jaden knocks three times on the door, hearing a scuffling and a small squeak. Jaden frowns and mutters. "Zane, don't kill me later." He then bursts into the room, seeing Blair halfway outside of the window, who looks in shock.
"Ja-" Blair jumps at the bang, and begins to slip out the window fully. Jaden rushes forward, quickly catching the younger student, turning so that he takes the brunt of the impact.
"Ow." Jaden grumbles, Blair sitting on his stomach as he looks around.
"What? Oh Jaden?! Are you ok?" Blair starts freaking out, as Jaden simply looks up at them.
"I'm fine, get off me! Besides, we need to get out of here." Jaden states, seeing a few Obelisks heading towards the disturbance. Jaden grabs Blairs arm, pulling them away enough so that no one can spot them.
After a few minutes of running, the two end up at the cliffs near Slifer dorm, both out of breath. "Ok, I'm not going to ask why you were in Zanes room …. Or what you were doing in there cause I don't want to know." Jaden grumbles, as Blair turns an even deeper shade of red. "But why did you go there in the first place? I mean, if anyone caught you, you'd probably get expelled or worse since the School Duel is coming up."
Blair remains silent for a little bit before bursting with. "It's none of your business, why did you follow me in the first place?! We barely even know each other!" Blair glares up at Jaden, panting a bit as Jaden looks down at Blair.
"Why did I follow you? Because while we don't know each other that much, you're still a part of our dorm. If you did anything stupid, like sneaking into the bedroom of one of the best students of this school. All of the Slifers are in a bad corner because of Crowler who would use anything to punish the entire dorm." Jaden almost growls, simply glaring at Blair, who backs up on instinct.
"I-I'm sorry, I just h-he's …" Blair drops their head, shaking a little. Jaden looks over the other student and rubs the back of his head.
"Sorry, I just … you know what?" Blair looks up at Jaden, who has his dueldisk on his arm. Blair raises an eyebrow as Jaden walks back a bit. "Let's duel! It's easier than talking."
Blair's eyes widen at that, before narrowing, pulling a dueldisk from their backpack as well, looking at Jaden.
On the other side of the island, Syrus and co are running around, the three boys looking around shocked. "Where are they?" Bastion grumbles, barely groaning as the other two pant from the exercise.
"D-don't know. How could they have gotten so far in such a short time?" Syrus holds onto Bastion's arm, his other on his knee as Chumley is almost doubled over.
"Why do we have to run so much?"
"Because someone broke into the Obelisk dorm." Alexis almost growls, the three boys jumping from her tone alone.
It takes a few moments for the boys to realize what she said, all three of them looking at each other. "Fuck." Chumley mutters, audibly gulping as Alexi's eyes narrow.
"You three know something?"
"Well … there's a new Slifer student who seemed almost obsessed with Zane." Syrus mumbles, as Alexis's eyes widen at the news.
"They are dead, many times over if they get discovered."
"Especially if he gets caught. We should find Jaden." Alexis idly nods at that, and begins heading towards the cliffs near the Slifer dorm. The other three look at each other, and simultaneously facepalm as they follow after.
When the four get there, Alexis still fuming, they spot Zane, his hands in his pockets. He glances over at them for a second before looking back down. "Good you all got here sooner than I thought you would. You're in time for a show."
"What?" Syrus exclaims getting closer to the ledge as he sees Blair and Jaden with dueldisks out, the energy filling the air.
"Duel!"
"Get your game on!"

"Ladies first Blair." Jaden states, closing his eyes, shocking Blair.
"I … I h-how?"
Jaden sighs at that and raises up a few fingers. "Your creepy obsession with Zane, your fangirling (not gonna lie I'm pretty sure most guys would be jealous of him), and when we looked over your cards. Kinda obvious from my perspective. Now start your turn."
Blair grumbles while drawing her card with a deep blush. As she looks over her hand, she smirks and pulls her first card. "I summon Maiden of Love in attack mode!"

"I then set two cards face down to end my turn." Blair calls out, laying two cards behind her maiden, causing Jaden's eyes to narrow slightly.
Jaden draws his card, looking over his hand quickly. 'Not the best starting hand, and if Blair can pull off any of her strategies …' Jaden then pulls Sparkman out and sets him down. "I summon Elemental Hero Sparkman in attack mode!"

The yellow clad hero lands in front of Jaden, electricity sparking off his body. He strikes a pose which causes the female monster on the other side of the field to giggle a little. Jaden gets a sweatdrop as he looks at his monster side-eyed. 'Really?'
'What? All ladies love a little flair, my liege. You should try it with Lady Alexis.' With that, Jaden could almost feel a wink coming from under the lightning hero's mask. Jaden also gets a bit of a blush before coughing.
'Whatever, anyway, be careful, I don't know what Blair's planning.' Jaden states before coughing, returning his attention to the duel. "Now get ready Blair, Sparkman attacks your Maiden in Love!"
Lightning sparks from Sparkman's hands as he leaps at the pink clad monster, who squeeks and gets zapped. After Sparkman lands a small heart mark appears on his neck.
Flannigan: 4000→ 2800
Blair takes a small step back from the destruction of her monster, before she smiles. "With that attack, I activate the trap 'A Maiden's Tears'!" One of her facedown cards lifts up, revealing the face of Maiden in Love with tears streaming down her face. "Now thanks to it's effect, I'll destroy any monster with a maiden counter on it and deal damage to you equal to it's attack points."

Jaden grunts softly, as Sparkman puts his hands on his head, the heart mark popping. Sparkman's hands light up, striking him all over as he shakes and jolts, shooting energy right towards Jaden.
Yuki: 4000 → 2400
Jaden coughs lightly, chuckling a little. "Well I was not expecting that." Blair chuckles at that, before Jaden lays two cards facedown. "That's my turn, I got nothing else."
"My turn then." With that Blair draws her next card, smiling slightly. "I activate Cupid's Kiss. though it doesn't matter since you have no monsters. Now Maiden in Love attacks you directly, Jaden."
"Sorry Blair, but I use Negate Attack to end your battle phase." The swirling vortex appears before Jaden, which causes Blair to pout slightly. She then sets one card facedown as Jaden draws. Jaden's eyes narrow, as Avian's spirit appears next to him. 'Damn it I'm not getting anything.' Jaden sighs as he places down Avian's card. "I'm going to end my turn there."
"Not so fast, I activated 'Allure of the Maiden'. This card causes any monster on the field to attack my Maiden in Love. In conjuction with that, I use another trap called 'Lovely Gown' which allows me to make any damage from battle with Maiden in Love heals me instead."

"This way not only can I have your Avian get a 'Maiden' counter, but also heal a bit. Now my Maiden!" Maiden in Love begins to emit, at least to Avian, a small aura as it brings Avian to get closer, causing the Maiden to bump right into him, her dress becoming a larger gown. The contact causes it to shred up a bit, which makes Avian blush.
'You're so mean mister Avian!' She cries out, a green aura exerting from her as Blair seems to absorb it.
Flannigan: 2800 → 3400
'I am so sorry Maiden.' Avian replies, causing Jaden's eye to twitch as a heart mark appears on Avian's neck.
"Ok, you got me there Blair. It's your turn now." Jaden grumbles, before setting a card face down.
"Why thank you~." Blair smirks, drawing her card, before looking at Avian. "I now have my Maiden in Love attack your Avian!" Jaden flinches as Avian once again trips the female monster.
Flannigan: 3400 → 2800
"And thanks to Cupid's Kiss, I can now take your Avian." Blair calls out, as Maiden in Love looks up at Avian, a pair of baby doll eyes looking up at him. Avian turns red and coughs into his fist, before switching over to Blair's side. "Now Avian, attack Jaden directly."
'Really man?' Jaden sweats as Avian sends a shot of feathers at Jaden.
'I am sorry my king.' Avian states, as Jaden takes the damage, before landing next to Maiden in Love.
Yuki: 2400 → 1400
"I place one card face down, and activate Happy Marriage! With this card, I increase my Maiden's attack with Avian's." Blair calls out, as Avian is suddenly in a tux, with Maiden in Love being in a wedding dress. At least to all those sensitive to duel spirits can see it.

Jaden's eye twitches, as he looks at the feathered hero. 'Really? Are you serious? I'm pretty sure that Burstinatrix will have something to say.'
Avian jumps at that, causing him to bump into Maiden slightly. 'Pl-please don't, your majesty! L-like this is all because of Maiden's effect!' Avian replies, his eyes widening, which subsequently causes Maiden to start crying. This leads Avian to try and comfort the younger duel spirit.
Blair, peacefully unaware of what the two monsters on the field are doing, smiles at Jaden. "I end my turn there, and with it your defeat Jaden!"
Jaden stays silent for a moment, before he starts laughing, holding his head as everyone, even the monsters, look at him confused. "Sheesh, Blair. How come you weren't here the first few months? You're really good." Jaden continues laughing, causing Blair to blush ever so slightly.
"W-well I was supposed to be in Ra, but then I saw Mr. Crowler and called him a girl." At this both of them start to laugh, as Bastion's eyes narrow.
"Her name was Blair Flannigan right?" At this. Syrus and Chumley nod, while Bastion hums softly. "I remember watching her duel. She completely neutralized the administrator's monsters, and then took them by healing herself."
Alexis nods at that slightly, remembering it. "She should have been a shoo-in, but I heard a rumor that some kid insulted Professor Crowler and got expelled before she even got in." She then sweat drops a little. "I can see now though that most of that was crap."
"What bothers me though," Everyone's attention goes to Zane, who was quiet through the whole thing. "Is how easy Jaden is taking this. Same with Blair, she does realize she'll be expelled when she's done?" Zane almost growls that last part, a dark color filling his eyes. Syrus and Chumley back up at that as Syrus coughs.
"Wh-why would you say that Zane?"
Zane looks at his younger brother and sighs, a gentle energy taking over his steely gaze. "She broke into my room, messed with one of my shirts, and touched my deck. I'm sorry but she's off this island."
"Wait how do you know she did those things?" Syrus asks, confusion on his face.
Zane gains a bit of a smirk, though he has a hint, a tiny and faint hint, of a blush on his face. "Lets just say that this wasn't the first time a stalker snuck into my room since I originally became 'king of the school'. So I had a camera, and a few sensors installed into my room." Zane states softly, before returning his gaze to the duel. Which ends up his younger brother both being disgusted by some people and a bit worried for his brother.
After laughing off the awkward tension, Jaden then put on his game face, a bit of a cocky smirk on it. "Alright Blair, you are a great duelist, but I'm ending this duel here and now."
Blair raises an eyebrow, glancing down at her facedown card before back at Jaden. "How?"
Jaden lets out a loud sigh with a large smile. "Oh god I'm so glad you just asked how. Most people would say 'How? I have two monsters you have none' blah blah blah." This causes Blair to laugh a little as a blush coats her cheeks. "But I'm going to start my turn with this." Jaden smirks and activates Pot of Greed. "I'm sure you know what this does right?" Jaden states with a wide smile.
Blair nods her head, her mind running miles a minute as Jaden draws his two cards. "Next I'll summon Infernal Prodigy, but he won't be staying around for long because, thanks to my Malicious Edge's ability, I can sacrifice only one monster!" Jaden states, before black fire surrounds Infernal Prodigy.
'Oh god not again!' Jaden groans out, as a pair of sharp claws cut through the flames, Malicious Edge landing into his zone, a sinister sneer under his mask.

Jaden looks at his monster out of the corner of his eye, a mix of annoyance and a little bit of anger prevalent. 'Are you kidding me? That was too much Edge.'
'Your majesty, please. Ladies enjoy the flair … not only that, but some enjoy a good bad boy.' Malicious Edge looks back at his master, pointing at Maiden in Love, who has a massive blush on her face. This causes Jaden's eye to twitch, as he almost facepalms.
'What is with you and Avian?!' Jaden sighs and shakes his head, calming down. "I now activate the spell card, Evil Mask." Blair raises an eyebrow at this. "This card is quite interesting, as it allows me to make my Malicious Edge act as a second monster. In this case, I will have Malicious Edge also be treated as Elemental Hero Sparkman!"
Blair looks at Jaden confused, as Alexis just chuckles. "Jaden definitely wins." She states with a shake of her head, as Blair looks on. Malicious Edge grabs his mask, lifting it slightly to show off his fanged smile. The mask then shakes, seeming to turn into static before it turns into Sparkman's mask.
"And now, these last two cards spell your defeat!" Jaden holds up two cards before putting them both in. "First is my Spark Blaster, with it, I can force both Avian and Maiden in Love to enter defensive mode!" Jaden calls out, electricity coursing over the two monsters, forcing both to get on their knees and crossing their arms. "I then equip my Evil Blade to Malicious Edge, and with it's ability, I'll increase Malicious Edge's attack by 400 points. Not only that." Jaden smiles as Malicious Edge raises his hand, smiling as the spikes shatter and form a curved blade, picking it up. "It allows my hero to attack twice in one turn."

Blair narrows her eyes, looking at the dark hero, before her eyes widen. "You set my monsters to defense … because yours has piercing … right?"
This causes Jaden to grin to widen even more. "Yep, now Malicious Edge end this duel." The hero smiles widely and jumps forward, first towards Avian.
'I-I don't have anything to stop his attack. Defense Maiden only really works if she's in attack mode.' Blair winces, Malicious cutting right through Avian's body, from the right shoulder to the left hip.
Flannigan: 2800 → 0800
Malicious then turns to Maiden in Love, looking up at the sword wielding hero, with a look of semi fear. 'Sorry my lady, but my king's commands are absolute.'
Maiden in Love looks a little sad, nodding her head. 'I understand, I'd do anything to help Blair. Just please be swift.' Malicious nods his head slightly, before he takes Maiden in Love's head in one swift slash, the shockwave of energy cutting into Blair.
Flannigan: 0800 → 0000
Blair sighs and almost collapses, a frown on her face. "Damnit, I was so hoping I was going to win."
"Everyone hopes they win, but you're good Blair." Jaden laughs a bit as he looks down at the young girl. "Hopefully, you'll be able to come back next year."
Blair looks up at Jaden, completely embarrassed. "Yeah … but only you know what happened! I should stil be-"
"No, he isn't." A cold and stern voice calls out, walking to the pair. Zane walks over to Jaden, nodding at him, before looking down at Blair, who turns bright red at her approaching idol. "I had a camera installed, and you tripped the alarm on it." Jaden raises an eyebrow before Zane continues. "You should be glad you have a lot of skill, even if Jaden wasn't drawing his cards. I wouldn't want to snuff out a potential rival." Zane smirks at that, causing Blair to heat up.
The three stand in silence, Blair a red mess, Jaden with a bit of a confused look on his face, and Zane with a smirk, as the rest of their friends come down. "I-I'm sorry … I couldn't help myself … I just wanted you to notice me." Blair blurts out as Zane rubs his temples.
"There are better ways to do that, other than breaking into my room!" Zane growls out, making Blair shrink a bit more as Jaden steps in front of Zane.
"Hey, that may be true, but come on, you don't have to scare the poor girl." Zane then laughs at that, shocking a few others.
"That may be true, but she's still on this island, so she needs to be punished for breaking the rules." Zane counters, before glancing at Blair, who is looking up at Zane, confusion in her eyes. "I won't do anything more than send her off the island. Especially since she did break into my room." Zane emphasizes again, though he does smirk slightly. "Now, I have to go tell the Chancellor, I think it should take a bit so … peace." Zane then walks by, Syrus and the other two splitting up not to stand in his way.
This leaves the rest of the group just in somewhat shock, before Blair collapses. "I just wanted to get him to know me." Blair tears up a bit, as Jaden pats her back, before looking to see the others (especially Alexis), and starting to heat up a bit.
Jaden coughs into the back of his hand slightly, as Blair huffs slightly. "Yeah, Zane's a … hard person to talk to." Syrus speaks up, trying to just say something to cut the tension. "He means the best sometimes, but he's very blunt with the way he talks. Plus being the best on the island causes a lot of stress. Like there was this one time after he got back from school, with a huge lipstick mark on his cheek." Syrus begins to ramble, causing Jaden to chuckle at that, while Alexis laughs.
"I remember that, according to Atticus, he pranked Zane into meeting with a few of his fangirls. He had a picture of Zane, just completely covered in girls." As Alexis talks, she starts to shake, laughing. This causes the others to smile, even Blair, though she does gain a small blush.
The group talk for a while, before the Slifers make their way towards the Red dorm, so that Blair could face the music. When they arrive, they see Professor Banner, talking with a few security guards along with a helicopter with the Kaiba Corp logo on it. Blair shifts in place a bit before looking at Banner. "Ah, Ms. Flannigan, it's good to see you. I was just having quite the interesting conversation with Mr. Truesdale about what recently happened." Banner has a somewhat annoyed tone, though he seems to radiate an almost fatherly warmth.
Blair blushes and nods her head. "I'm sorry. It's true that I was stopped from coming into the school-"
"But that does not excuse what you did." Banner states as he looks down at Blair, who nods her head. "Luckily Mr Truesdale has pushed for you to be in next year, if it weren't for that … Well Doctor Crowler wanted to get you completely expelled and black listed." This causes Blair to flinch a bit, before nodding.
"I'm an idiot." Blair mutters to herself, though pretty outloud.
"Nah you're not an idiot, you're just excitable." Jaden states with a laugh, which causes Blair to blush even more. Blair hits Jaden's side, grunting a bit with a laugh. "Well Blair, this is goodbye then. It was fun for a while, hope to see you next year."
Blair nods at that, the security guards motioning towards the helicopter with a bit of a huff. Blair gets ready to head off, before looking at Jaden. After seeming a moment of hesitation, she rushes at Jaden, giving him a big hug. "Goodbye … Darling." She muttered the last part, giving Jaden a kiss on the cheek before running to the helicopter, leaving Jaden standing there, fairly stunned.
Chumley snorts as the helicopter starts off, Alexis half glaring at Blair, Bastion thinking humorously, and Syrus with wide eyes. Jaden meanwhile, is wide eyed before jumping when he feels someone touch his shoulder. He moves towards the feeling, before Alexis practically jumps, gently kissing Jaden on the lips.
On the helicopter, and silenced by it, Blair seems to freak out a bit; though Jaden doesn't pay it much mind before his eyes close, pulling Alexis closer. They stay like that, with Alexis having her hands on Jaden's head, until the helicopter is no longer near them. "Wh-what was that for Lexi?" Jaden states breathlessly.
"No reason." Alexis huffs before pulling away from Jaden with a semi cocky smile on her face. This leads everyone to start laughing lightly, though Jaden has a bright shade of red on his face, before joining everyone's laughs.
"Hmmm, we're really close, two … no three weeks." Chancellor Shepherd muses in his office, looking at the Duel Academy symbol. He smiles to himself, almost giddy. "I'm sure we'll win again. After all, we've won the last 3 years and there's so much promise in the newer students. Though … What student could easily beat the entirety of North Duel Academy in his first year alone?"
Shepherd chuckles to himself, as he grabs a phone. "This year has really been interesting."

OH MY ABSOULTE GOD! This took forever and a half to make, I am so so sorry. Sure this is normal for me, taking forever to update my stories, but I'm honestly kicking myself for opening and closing this word doc (the thing I use for writing my stories), and just leaving it on so many times! Not only that, college has been kicking my butt along with my work. Then there's the fact I recently (the 24th) got tested positive for Coronavirus, which just sucks absolute crap! Get the Vaccine, it's worth it as the symptoms do less butt kicking.
So I have seen other creators on this site have s (which does fall under fair use after a bit of research cause this is technically parody) and I'm really tempted to do it. I love writing (even if I suck at it) and I really want to see if I could potentially make money off it. So, I'll probably update that more often if it actually gets some people. Though that's just my thought process, and it's a lot to ask for.
Anyway I'm out, have to start on the next part, hopefully it'll be out much sooner than this was.
