A week after their trip to Maga we find Sonic and Sally in Metropolis looking for computer parts as Sally's trusty computer is malfunctioning when they had to split up Sally was running in the forbidden zone when she ran in to a mean looking bloke in a cloak the as she was about to run the other way she saw the swat bot what was chasing her and before she could react the figure shot laser beams to the bot destroying it then he walk on ignoring Sally then Sally thought ''who was that'' before walking off to find Sonic

Sally was walking when she decided to take a breather when someone placed a hand on her shoulder then she heard Sonic asked' 'hey Sal, you okay you look like you seen a ghost''

''well, you're not wrong there now come on let's go home I will fix NICOLE in the morning '' Sally said then she pulled Sonic along

The next morning on a bench outside Sally house Sally had the hedgehog triplets Bonnie and Rotor and while Sally was fixing NICOLE, she was telling them what happened the night before and when she was done Bonnie asked ''what in heavens name what that thing was''

Before Sally could answer Sonia said '' by the sound if it was the guardian''

''who is the guardian'' Rotor asked

''no is more like that because according to legend the guardian watches over the resting place of Lazaar'' Sally replied

''what's Lazaar'' Sonic asked

''not what but who'' Sally said

''who is what'' Sonic asked

Sally gave Sonic a deep panned look before saying to no one in particular ''my fiancé everyone''

Sonia shakes her head before saying ''ignoring the happy couple jets get back on topic and according to legend Lazaar is an evil wizard that has rest for centuries in the forbidden zone and over the years many have tried to take his computer no one has succeeded''

''so, what's important about the computer of his'' Manic asked

''well, the computer contains all of Lazaar's spells and curses'' Sally said

''right also Lazaar waits for someone vile enough to wake him'' Sonia said

''that sounds like Robotnik'' Manic said

''right soi that means we have to get that computer first'' Sonic said

''oh no Sonic its too risky'' Sally said

''Come on Sal even you have to agree that if Robotnik get his hand on it first then its game over, but it would really help kicking his tail'' Sonic said

''I will give you that, but you could wake Lazaar in the process'' Sally said

''Moi faster than lightning quieter than a mouse I will be there before you know I am even gone'' Sonic said as he snaps his fingers

''Sonic will you be serious for a minute'' Sally said

''okay Sal but thirty seconds is my limit'' Sonic replied as he looks at his watch

''Sonic one of these days you will learn that speed isn't a substitute for common sense'' Sally said

''she is right Sonic speed isn't everything'' Sonia said

''times up you snooze you lose, and I have to cruise'' Sonic said as he starts to rev his feet

Seeing that Sonic was about ready to speed of Sally quickly said ''Sonic please be careful''

Not hearing what Sally said the blue hedgehog said as took off ''its magic time''

When Sonic got to the area where Sally said he saw a big building and said ''man that is one ugly'' then as he looks around, he sees a familiar ship then he says ''oh no ol Robuttnik is already here so I have juice and jam'' then he ran to the building and as he got close enough the house drops something

Sonic saw it coming then quickly says ''now that is one serious door'' then he speeds up and he just managed to enter without being crushed and once he was inside, he said ''man looks like that part of the legend is true that one the vile can enter'' then he runs further inside

When Sonic came up to a crossroad of sorts as he stood in front of three hallways each of them has a different way of killing then he said ''whoa and here is another fine mess where do I go now what is a hedgehog to do now do I want to get diced, grilled or crushed'' then as he stands there thinking of which way to go the guardian came up behind the hedgehog

Then there was a bright flash causing the hedgehog to look away and when the light was gone, he opened then and saw a brown cloak and upon looking up Sonic sees the guardian and in a stat of surprise took a few steps back while saying ''whoa when did you get here''

The guardian didn't answer instead he shot red beams at Sonic but the hedgehog was faster and jumped back and said ''hey what's the big idea'' but the guardian didn't answer just fired beams at him then the hedgehog muttered to himself ''man what is this guy's problem'' then he had an idea ''well you know what they say if you can't choose a path then make one'' then he ran up a wall to got behind guardian so he could trip the guardian up then he starts spinning/drilling into a wall

When Sonic came out from the other side he stopped to look around and saw he had two direction then he ran in the direction that he thought was going further inside and almost ran of a cliff that had a broken old rigidity foot bridge and he said ''whoa talk about close '' then he looks up and sees various types of pendulums swinging the said ''this is too easy'' then he jumps onto the first pendulum then he jumps across the ravine while using the pendulums and once he was across the ravine he went down the hall way

Sonic then entered a room that has a lot of floor lasers then said ''well now its official nothing is easy anymore'' then he saw a rock and picked it and though it at a laser and it was disintegrated then said ''and BBQ hedgehog is not going to be on the menu tonight oh well its cruising and bruising time'' then he ran across the room while using the wall to get across and once he reached the other side he went up the stairs

When Sonic entered Lazaar's room he started to sneak around missing the bed like capsule was open and as he was looking around there was a glow behind him causing him to jump and when the light died there stood a old elf like man with over grown eyebrows and a long braid and was wearing a red robe and he said with an angry tone ''another thief it is and for my computer he comes to steal''

''well, you are not wrong there, but my intentions were to get it and hide it before someone does and use it on someone that I care about like my friends and family but seeing as someone beat me to it, I will be on my way'' then turns to leave

As the blue hedgehog was leaving, he found himself trapped inside a bubble and Lazaar said '' fast not so little thief''

Sonic was tying to get out of the bubble while he was saying ''hey let me out of here''

After a bit Lazaar began to shake then said ''using my magic he is''

''who's using the magic of your computer Lazaar'' Sonic asked

''I know not his name, but he is evil he is pure evil'' Lazaar said

''that sound like Robotnik'' Sonic said then he asked ''say Lazaar what gives from my sister and fiancé you are meant to be evil''

''evil I was once but dreamed for centuries I have, regret the evil I do'' Lazaar said re remorse and regret in his tone

''sweet now let me out of this bubble'' Sonic said

Lazaar kneels down and asked ''release you should I why''

''so, I can stop Robotnik by getting your computer back and just like you said he is totally evil so there is no telling what he will do with it'' Sonic said

Lazaar think for a moment then said ''fine but promise you must make first''

''no problem what can I do for you'' Sonic asked

''computer you must find return it you shall'' Lazaar said

''okay that I can do I promise that I will get your computer back Lazaar'' Sonic said

Lazaar nodded and said ''good little thief'' then he pushes a button on his belt while Sonic was watching carefully

Once Sonic was out of threw bubble he said ''sweet now we are talking'' then as he revved his feet, he said no then time to juice and jam'' not noticing Lazaar reaching for another button and the result was Sonic suddenly stopping and falling to his knees while holding his head then he asked'' man what did you just do to me''

Lazaar chuckled then said ''severed your connection to chaos I did little thief not the first I delt with agent of chaos''

''why did you do that is so not cool also what the heck is an agent of chaos'' Sonic asked

''evil I once was, ignorant I was not restore it I shall when promise you keep'' Lazaar replied

''that's no problem but how do I get your computer if I don't have my speed'' Sonic asked

Lazaar points to his head and said ''brains you have brains you use''

Sonic sighs and walks away while saying ''why does everything have to be so difficult''

As sonic was heading to Robotnik tower he sees a couple of patrol cars heading to the base to timing it just right he jumps and grab a hold of a bar that is at the bottom and once inside the hedgehog said ''now that I am in, I have to find Lazaar's computer which would likely be with ol butt-Nik''

While Sonic was looking around, he was suddenly teleported and on ether side of him was Sally and Bonnie causing the blue hedgehog to ask ''Bon Sal what are you two doing here''

But he didn't get an answer instead Robotnik showed up and said ''ladies retain him'' and then to the hedgehog said ''well look at that rodent I have you at last''

As Sonic was struggling with Sally and Bonnie he asked ''what did you do them''

''well, you could say that I made them obedient'' Robotnik replied

''and no doubt you used Lazaar's computer'' Sonic said

''why of cause I did now I was thinking should I roboticize them starting with you'' Robotnik said then turned to Sally and said ''princess if you please'' and Sally and Bonnie grabbed the hedgehog and started to drag him to the roboticizer

As Sonic was being dragged to the roboticizer he was trying to get his fiancé back to her senses by saying thing that might help but it was for naught because as soon as he was on the platform the chipmunk said ''will you just shut your mouth hedgehog'' while Snively was activating the roboticizer

When the case was down Sonic gained a sad look up as he looks up, he sees Lazaar's computer then he touches his medallion to bring his guitar out then shouted ''lets rock this joint'' then he started to play to shoot the lasers to break the roboticizer and the glass then nudge Bonnie and said ''sorry Bonnie'' then ran over to the computer

Once Sonic has the computer he ran and, in the process, a swatbot who was about to fire but Robotnik it while saying ''don't or you might hit the crystal'' but it was to late as the bot had pulled the trigger, but its aim was now at some rope that was holding drum barrels

Sonic ducked under a table just as the drums hit the floor blocking Sally and Bonnie while hiding under the table Sonic said ''this just isn't my day'' then as he looked at the computer then he remembered what Lazaar did but he didn't have time to do anything as Bonnie was moving the drums and the moment there was room he rush out from under the table while saying ''I am sorry Sally'' and while he was running Robotnik's metal bird Cluck flew over to grab the crystal and Sonic said ''hey birdbrain why dint you sly south'' and in the struggle Sonic lost the crystal and chases after it and just grabbed it before Robotnik could and said ''I'll take that'' then ran over to Bonnie and Sally then he pointed the crystal at the girls and said ''aright girls come to come back to your senses'' then he pushed a button and it glowed

When the glow died both Sally and Bonnie shut their eyes and was released from there enslavement and Sally said ''uh Sonic what's happening''

''what in high heavens are you doing here'' Bonnie asked

''I will tell you what is going on later but right now we have to skedaddle'' Sonic said then they all headed to out the door then as they were running, she said ''o has to say this is way past cool Lazaar''

Just as the trio was about to go out the door when two swatbots entered and started to shoot the freedom fighters causing them to take cover then Bonnie said ''hey guys can I make a little ol suggestion''

''and what do you suggest Bonnie'' Sonic asked

''how about we get out of here'' Bonnie said then jump out from where she was then jump over to the bots and took them out the bots then the trio ran out

As the freedom fighter was running down the hallway with swatbots chasing them when Sally said ''that was some work Bonnie''

''thanks Sal'' Bonnie said

When the group was free the girls turned to Sonic and Sally asked ''so what happened''

Sonic then told them about when he got to Lazaar's lair once he was done, he said ''now let's get going as I have a promise to keep and speed to get back'' then walks of

Sally and Bonnie walk up to Sonic and Sally asked ''what are you talking about''

''well when I was about to leave after finding out that Robotnik had already taken the old wizard's computer he put me in a bubble then we made a promise he lets me go then I get his computer back then when I was about to leave again he took my speed while saying he severed my connection to chaos whatever that means and that it wasn't his first time dealing with an agent of chaos whatever that is so do you know what it is''

''I have never heard the term before, and I don't think my father has ever mentioned it before'' Sally said

''then maybe NICOLE might have a file on whatever an agent of chaos is Sally-girl'' Bonnie said

''for might be right'' Sally said then she pulled out her trusty computer then said ''NICOLE do you have any thing on agents of chaos''

''accessing Sally'' Nicole said then after a moment the computer ''there is file Sally would you like to try something else''

''no thanks NICOLE'' Sally said then then puts the computer away then turns to her two friends then said ''well that was a bust looks like we need to ask Lazaar what an agent of chaos is''

When the Trio got to the forbidden zone, they headed to Lazaar's lair who was walking out of the house and Sonic said ''hey Lazaar I am back and with your computer'' then hands him his computer

''well, you have done little thief'' Lazaar said with gratitude as he the computer

''join us Lazaar why not become a freedom fighter'' Sonic asked

''half of mobius it is bad, guard it I must so decline offer I have to'' Lazaar replied

''can't you just destroy the computer'' Sally asked

''the dirl has a point if its as bad as you say it is then why not just get rid of the thing'' Bonnie said

''release the evil it would catastrophe it would bring'' Lazaar then said ''Sonic your speed I restore'' then pushes a button on his belt and Sonic gained an aura and Sonic felt his speed again

''oh, speaking of speed hey Lazaar what is an agent of chaos'' Sally asked

Lazaar strokes his beard and said ''an agent of chaos is Mobian that has connection to chaos and manifests in three ways it does speed strength or intelligence and manifest any point in lives and no not anyone knows if agent or not''

''so that's what an agent of chaos is a Mobian that is faster stronger or smarter than others'' Bonnie said

''that it is little rabbit and the three you I sense have connected to little thief they are'' Lazaar said

Wait so you mean to tell me that Manic and Sonia are like me'' Sonic asked then after a moment said ''you know what don't answer that makes sense seeing Manic being able to build the stuff he does and when Sonia hits it sometimes is worse than a swatbots''

''good you are but have yet to awaken'' Lazaar said

''cool well we better get going thanks Lazaar'' Sally said

''yes, you should late it is getting wish you luck I do'' Lazaar said then he and the guardian headed in the building and then it shrank

''well then, it's been a long day so let's juice'' Sonic said

''now you are talking sugar-hog'' Bonnie said

As the trio was walking, they glowed then disappeared and reappeared at Knothole where Rotor and Manic was about to do something

Manic and Rotor was in the building that was next to the river and Rotor was about to push a switch when Sonic Sally and Bonnie showed up then the walrus said ''oh I am glad they you three showed up'' then turned to Sally and asked ''so what happened to you and Bonnie Sally''

''oh, it's a long story'' Sally replied

Bonnie was walking out to building she said ''and it can wait till morning as we need Sonia'' then she yawned

''I see anyway check this out'' Rotor said then he flipped the switched and turned on a light bulb

Sonic was looking up and said ''so that it that is what you were working on''

Sally looked at Sonic and said ''that's right isn't it great'' but the blue hedgehog didn't answer instead he headed to his house
