The day after the affair with Lazaar and his computer Sonic and Sally had the team minus tails in the meeting room and was telling them what happen the day before and what Lazaar called Sonic then Manic said ''so what is an agent of Chaos exactly''

''well from what Lazaar said an agent is someone that it connected to chaos, and it manifests itself one of three ways speed, strength, or intelligence'' Sally said

''what that we have one of each now'' Bonnie stated

''really who'' Sonia asked

''well, the old wizard said that they are connected to me so I would say that it is you and Manic' Sonic said

''and you would be correct young hedgehog'' Came a disembodied voice then there was a flash and when it was gone the Oracle stood

''wait what do you mean by Sonic is correct'' Manic asked

''what I mean is the two others that my opposite spoke about is both you and Sonia Manic and you are still here because of Sonic'' Oracle said

''what do you mean by Manic, and Sonia are here because of Sonic Oracle'' Rotor asked

''what I mean is that is both Sonia and Manic was meant to be stillborn and they were but even as a new-born Sonic or something inside him knew something was wrong then blue electricity covered him and then a few bolts went to Manic and Sonia then as the bolts headed to the two stillborn the bolts changes colour and when the bolts hit the bodies they glowed a little before they started crying after they then once Queen Aleena was discharged she came to see me and asked me what happen and that was when I told her about what Julius Robotnik had planed so she went into hiding for a few months before going to see King Maximillian and the rest you both know'' Oracle said shocking everyone especially the triplets

''so do you know what type of agent we are'' Sonia asked

''you young Sonia are an agent that represents strength while Manic is intelligence'' Oracle replied then he looks around then said ''I also sense another intelligent agent'' then he turns to the group and asks ''who isn't a part of the meeting''

Sonic laughed a little before saying ''well that might explain why Sonia has such a mean swing'' which got a jab in the shoulder by the female hedgehog ''and why Manic can is able to build things also just my little buddy a fox known as Miles Prower, but we call him Tails''

''I see does young Miles have two tails'' Oracle said

''how do you know that'' Sonic said before he remembered who he was talking to then said ''oh right all seeing being''

''well, there is that but there are two other reasons I guessed young Miles had two tails'' Oracle said

''what would what be'' Manic asked

''the first would the nickname you all gave him'' Oracle replied

''well, that would be obvious when you think about it also what is the other reason'' Bonnie said/asked

''two tails are a sign for being an agent amongst foxes so who old is the young kitsune'' Oracle said/asked

''Tails is eight'' Sonic replied

''I see and that is good because they fox agents don't fully awaken until they reach ten years of age'' Oracle answered

''wow so we have four of these agents' things'' Antoine asks

''no, technically we have one seeing as Sonic is the only one that is awake as one sugar'' Bonnie replied

''you are half right young rabbit, but young Sonic isn't truly awake to his true potential'' Oracle said

''what do you mean by that Oracle also is what happen to me and Manic the reason we can use the emeralds'' Sonia asks

Oracle nodded and said ''that is right young Sonia when a Mobian like you is given the power of chaos they forge a connection to chaos and become an agent but as it wasn't formed naturally, they can't use the emeralds'' Oracle said

''so can those they have a natural connection use the emeralds'' Sally asked thinking about Tails

The reptilian anteater shocks his head and says ''unfortunately not they need to have a really strong connection and until the awaken they will not know, and they will instinctively know what they are capable of''

''that good to know so is there any way to jump start the potential'' Manic asked

''well, I could do that to you and Sonia but 'unfortunately Sonic is too far ahead so if I did do it, I would do more harm than good'' Oracle answer

''sweet'' Manic said

''wait a minute Manic'' Sonia said to her brother then she turned to the Oracle and asks ''what's the catch''

''you truly are a smart hedgehog Sonia as your both gained your connection from Sonic so you will be as far as he is but after that you will awake at your own pace'' Oracle said

''that's good to know'' Sonic said then he turned to his siblings and asks ''so what will you two do''

Manic and Sonia thinks about it then the green hedgehog asks ''so what will happen if we don't go through with it''

''then you will not truly make the connection that you both already have'' Oracle replied

''what does that mean'' Sonia asked

''when Sonic gave you both his power and formed your connection but it's like your connection is like being on standby you both are slightly better than others, but it will not progress which is why you haven't gotten a better connection to chaos''

''wat do you mean Oracle'' Sally asks

''well, when the connection to chaos is forged like it did with Sonia and Manic, they will not progress like it will with Sonic and Miles they will need something to jumpstart the connection they already have'' Oracle explained

''I see what do you both want to do'' Sonic asked as he turned to his siblings

''well, if it means beating Robuttnik then I say just start the connection'' Sonia said

''yeah, what she said'' Manic said

''very well but be warned you both will be out for the rest of the day'' Oracle said as he woke up the connection which knocked the two hedgehogs out then the Oracle said ''and with that I bid you all a farewell''

Before the Oracle could teleport away Sally said ''Oracle wait''

''yes, Princess Sally what can I do for you'' Oracle said

''is it possible to forge a connection without an agent'' Sally asked

''yes, it is possible as there are artefacts all over Mobius, they are linked to Chaos all you need to do is find one well with the exception of the emeralds'' Oracle replied then asks ''is that all Princess''

Sally nodded and said ''yes, it is, thank you''

''its no problem young chipmunk now let me give you two bits of advice be careful with some of the artefact as some are more powerful then other and depending on the artefacts you could get a strong or a weak connection and once the connection is forged it cannot be undone''

''so, if I do find an artefact and I want to forge a connection to Chaos then I have to be careful in what I choose as I can't strengthen the connection if I choose one that has a wea connection'' Sally said

the Oracle nodded and said ''correct and if you need to be wary of the stronger ones as well''

''I get have a feeling that I could die if the artefact has a connection that is too much for me to handle'' Sally said getting a gasp from her friend and a worried look from Sonic

''that is right but there is a way to survive it'' Oracle said

''really what is'' Bonnie asks worried for her best friend

''and that would be the other bit of advice I will give you if you use an artefact to form a connection to Chaos while Sonic for example is holding it then you will be an agent of speed rather then the one you are meant to be'' Oracle said

Rotor thinks he gets it and says ''let me get this right anyone can forge a connection to Chaos if they find an relic that has a connection to Chaos'' Oracle nods ''but that connection very from Mobian to Mobian as well as Relic to Relic'' getting another nod ''but everyone has a limit of how strong the connection to Chaos is and what type they are depends on what suits them'' gets another nod ''but they can by pass that if the get someone one that has a connection to hold the artefact''

''right young walrus now I have to go'' Oracle said before he teleports away

''alright now on to the other matters we need discuss we destruction of the power plant'' Sally said

''first can we put Sonia and Manic in bed as I don't think they would like being leaved there'' Rotor said

''your right Rot come on let's tick them in'' Sonic said as he picked up Sonia and Rotor pick up Manic and they headed to Sonic's hut

When they both came out, they had the meeting and decided that Sonic Sally and Bonnie would do it that night and when the meeting was over the trio headed to their huts to get some rest for the mission that night and when the time came the three that was doing the mission was ready and left

When they trio got to the city they hid as a hoover vehicle drove past then Sonic stuck his head out to see if there were any more vehicles and as there was none around, he turned to his companions and said ''alright ladies' the cost is clear now let's go''

As they were running past some pipes Sally stopped and said ''Sonic wait let's see if there is any electricity being carried thought here'' then she kneels down and pulls out a stethoscope out of her bag and puts it on and put the other end on the pipe then once she hears the elasticity she says ''yep it is definitely carrying electricity''

Sonic smiles and says ''get now let blow the plant up'' then they headed to the plant only to see there was surrounded by swatbots and the blue hedgehog said ''that got to be the main generator plant''

''oh, my look at all the guards'' Bonnie said

Sonic turns to the girls and says ''that's not a problem I can handle the bots''

''be careful Sonic and we'll see you inside'' Sally said

''you to and see you inside'' Sonic said before he runs to the bots to distract them he first went behind a swatbot that was patrolling and whistled a little before saying ''hey swatbot how's it going'' and when the bot turned around and sees the hedgehog he said ''see ya'' then he ran of to the next bot with the first one following him when he got to the next bot he said ''hey has anyone ever tell you that your ugly and that you dress funny'' when he didn't get an answer he said ''I'll take that as a no then hen allow me be the first then your ugly and you dress funny well I would love to hang around but I have things to do and places to be'' then he speed of with the three bots after him while dodging laser fire then when he runs into an alleyway he went up a wall to distract the two that was on the roof and he does so by whistling when the bots left the light he went behind it and shined it at the bot and when the bot shot it and broke it then the hedgehog said ''oh you broke it nice shooting though well I now have to go'' then he jumps of the building to find some more bots and he did and he was near a water pipe then he said ''hey bot-heads it Saturday night you know what that means'' then as he didn't get a response he said ''you don't well then let me tell you what it means, it means you guys need a serious bath'' then he turned a wheel to unleash the water

Meanwhile back at the entrance of the plant Sally and Bonnie was at the door and Sally was trying to open it but couldn't and she said ''damn it its locked'' so she turned to Bonnie and said ''Bonnie if you would''

''it would be my pleasure darlin'' Bonnie said then she brought her robotic arm back and punched the door then she gestured for Sally to enter, and she said ''after you'' then when Sally entered, she followed

When they duo got to the main generator Sally open a hatch and cut a wire then she turned to Bonnie and said ''there the alarm has been disabled so do it Bonnie'' then Bonnie went and pulled a cover of that was hiding the computer for the generator then the chipmunk said now that is some computer''

''it sure is so what are you going to do now Sally-girl'' Bonnie asked

''well, the plan is to shut down the safety limits so I can overload this thing'' Sally said as she got to work

After a few minutes, the computer started to spark causing Sally to scream in surprise and Bonnie to say ''whoa something sure is happening''

Then an overload warning was on flashing on the screen Sally said ''that is it now let's go'' then the computer sparked again just as the two female was turning to leave and the alarm started to go of

As they got out the saw Sonic arriving then he said as he saw them ''get a grip you two because its motor rapid time'' then the speed of after the girls had grabbed him

Meanwhile in Robotnik's home Snively went to see Robotnik and upon entering he said ''umm Dr Robotnik''

''what is it Snively you know I don't like being interrupted while I am busy'' Robotnik said as we were working on his mechanical rooster like bird then said to it ''try it now Cluck'' then he places it on his shoulder we he turned to face Snively then said ''well Snively what is it now''

Snively gulped then said ''well um sir he is gone''

''who is gone'' Robotnik asked

''well sir it's the hedgehog'' Snively replied

''the hedgehog which one Snively seeing as there are now three of them and where was the sighting'' Robotnik asked

''its Sonic sir and he was seen near the Badlands and he was with the Princess and Bonnie Rabbot'' Snively replied

''well, what are you waiting for order a red alert'' Robotnik said with his eyes glowing red

''yes sir'' Snively said the as he pushes some buttons he then said ''sir there is another problem''

''what is it now Snively'' Robotnik asked

''well, your ugliness it's the main generator it's about to blow'' Sleet said as he and Dingo walks in

''the hedgehog he will pay'' Robotnik said as the lights turn of and there was an explosion

Back with our heroes who had just made it outside Robotropolis saw the explosion and the girls was jumping in joy as Sonic said ''alright yeah that was cool we did it now that ought to slow the old metalhead down a bit''

Sally gains a worried look as Bonnie walks of while saying ''without electricity Robotnik is nothing but history''

Sonic looks at Sally and sees her worried look and asks ''hey Sal how about some enthusiasm we did so what's with the worried look''

''oh, we will need to do the same thing with his backup generator to'' Sally said

''well maybe there isn't a backup'' Sonic said as if the universe wanted to prove him wrong the power in Robotropolis came back on then he said ''nope wrong answer''

''oh, I knew it just knew it'' Sally said as she kicks the dirt

Sonic places his arm over her shoulders and said ''don't worry Sal we can just make plans to get the back up when we know its location''

As they both start to walk back to Knothole Sally said ''your right Sonic now let's get back to Knothole and get some rest''

''sound good to me'' Bonnie said

Meanwhile back with Robotnik as he looked at the screens he said ''those freedom fighters are really beginning to get on my nerves we must think of away to eliminate them starting with the blue hedgehog''

''I know a way sir'' Snively said

''well get on with it Snively'' Robotnik said

''we appeal to the hedgehog inflated ego sir'' Snively said

realising where Snively was going Sleet said ''you're thinking of doing something that he couldn't resist doing''

Snively nodded and said ''that right and he takes great pride in his speed so we can use that in our favour''

''oh, you mean like a race'' Dingo asked

''correct'' Snively said

Robotnik thinks about it then says ''I like Snively the hedgehog wouldn't be able to resist as he thinks he is the fastest thing on mobius, and I would have him in the palm of my hand''

''but there isn't anything on mobius that is as fast as the hedgehog'' Dingo said

Everyone looks at the dingo and Sleet says ''you dolt that the point of it but we have to make the hedgehog think that it's possible otherwise it's not a trap'' then they all left to make plans for the race
