It's the middle f the night when Sonic wakes up with a gasp waking up his brother and sister and Manic said ''hey bro are you okay''

''yeah, Manic I seriously have to stop eating my own cooking'' Sonic replied

''well, we have been saying that your cooking at the moment isn't eatable'' Manic said

''and what brought that on all of a sudden and does I have anything to do with why you woke up gasping'' Sonia asked

''it's nothing just a nightmare'' Sonic replied

''so do you want to talk about it after all sometimes nightmares are just showing what we are afraid of '' Sonia asked

''nah it nothing'' Sonic said then as he lays back down he is thinking ''was that nightmare really my worst fear'' then he sits back up and looks out the window that has a view to Sally's house then thinks about it then thought ''I guess one of my fear is that I will let Sally down when she really needs me''

Later that day when the sun had risen Sonic was on his way to see Rotor who was sitting at a bench and said as he joined him ''hey Rot how are you''

''oh, you know same old same old and what about you heard from Manic that you had a nightmare last night'' Rotor said

''I did'' the hedgehog said

''well Sally once said that a nightmare can be about a personal fear'' Rotor said

''yeah, that's what Sonia said last night'' Sonic said

Just then Sally and Sonia rushed over, and the chipmunk said ''guys we have a problem''

''and what would that be Ant getting captured by Robotnik again'' Sonic joked

Sally and Sonia looked at Sonic then the former said ''Sonic this is serious because NICOLE intercepted one of Robotnik's transmission''

''and right there is the bad news'' Manic said as he was walking over and heard the chatter

''it gets worse now listen'' Sally said as she placed NICOLE on the table and said ''NICOLE replay intercepted transmission

''replaying Sally'' NICOLE said then played the message

Once the message was over Sally said ''and that is everything''

''he's going to fill the clouds with chemicals'' Manic said

Sonia nodded then said ''that's right and by doing this he will be making acid rain''

Not really getting it Sonic said ''so what's a little more toxic rain going to do after Mobius is filled with the stuff''

''no doubt this is one of Robotnik's traps to get you Sonic'' Rotor said as he walked over to the blue hedgehog

''your properly right Rotor but we don't know for sure'' Sally said

''and what's more if that island is habituated then its our right to worn them of the incoming danger'' Sonia said

''well that not a problem btu the real problem is Robotnik's chemicals'' Manic said

''no need to worry about that Manic we already have thought of something Sally said while tapping her head

''but first we to get both Bonnie and Antoine then we will go to Rotor's storage shed'' Sonia said then with all in agreement the left to find the other two

A little while later Sonic and the gang was walking over to Rotor's storage, and as the walrus walks up to the door he said ''stand back everyone this could get messy'' then he opened the door, and all sorts of thing came out and covered him

Upon see the clutter Bonnie said ''on my stars and here I thought my closet was a mess''

Rotor manages to get out then he said as she starts looking around ''now give me a moment find them'' then after a few minutes he said ''ah ha there they are'' then he lifts out a SWAT bot's chest shell

''um Rotor how many SWAT bot suit do you be having'' Antoine asked

Rotor looks at the coyote while holding a SWAT helmet and said ''I have three and that one for Sally'' throwing the helmet toward her ''one for Bonnie and throws him the chest causing the coyote to gasp and stumer as he chucks the chest to one side

Sally put the helmet on then turns to her fiancé and asked ''well do I look like a SWAT bot''

Before Sonic could answer tails and Cosmo was walking past and Tails froze then slowly turns to Sally then gasp as he jumps in fright then said ''help a SWAT bot in juicing'' before taking of causing everyone to giggle

Cosmo then followed the two tailed fox as she was saying ''wait Tails it not a real one''

''nah not even close Sal'' Sonic replied

''alright everyone let's get suited up and get going so we can intercept the chemicals'' Sally said as Rotor was digging out the rest of the suits

After a while Sonia managed to get the coordinates and scouted a place to intercept the vehicle and right now the disguised Freedom Fighters was hiding behind a hill that over sees the road the vehicle will be coming down then as it passes Bonnie said ''would you look at that big old ugly thing''

''that probably the cloud buster'' Sally said then once that was ready Sally hold up a smoke bomb and pushes a button then throws it into the gorge

Once the SWAT bot was out Sally said ''that's great they are in the smoke so Let's go'' then they all went down and came up from behind and then they climbed on to the transport

As Bonnie was trying to open a hatchet the disguised coyote was looking toward the front of the transport and said ''better be hurrying because the SWAT bots they are coming''

Once the door was open Sally said ''you two keep guard'' then she closes the door then heads to the computer she then removes the helmet then plugs Nicole in the computer then said ''NICOLE access cloudbuster security codes''

''attempting access Sally'' NICOLE replied as she got to work

Meanwhile outside the SWAT bot was getting closer and Antoine said ''the SWAT bot they are coming''

''we will be fine sugar as long as you relax and get your knees under control'' Bonnie said as she hit the suit

Then as the SWAT bit walked past it looked at the two disguised freedom fighter and said ''return to post'' then as Antione was walking to another place, he trips over him own feet and when he hits the floor the helmet come off and the SWAT bot said as he aimed its gun at Antoine ''holt intruder''

Bonnie was walking up behind the SWAT bot and was about to hit the bit when another one came up behind her and said while aiming a gun at the disguised bunny ''don't move'' causing the bunny to freeze

As Bonnie held up her hands she said ''I dure do hate it then this happens''

Meanwhile inside the vehicle Sally was still cracking the and was looking at the monitor and she said ''oh no this isn't good''

''the first digit in place Sally'' NICOLE said then after a few seconds the computer said ''second digit in place Sally''

Then the chipmunk looks at the monitor and said ''NICOLE hurry up'' then she goes to pick up her helmet and as she was picking it up, she was unaware that a bot had entered, and it said until she heard the gun causing her to raise her hands then it led her to the control room with Antoine and Bonnie

Once they was at the control room a SWAT bot said to Snively ''intruders sir''

Snively looks and asks ''intruders you say'' but his answer came as a SWAT bot led them into the room then he said as he walks around the table ''so we have wolfs in SWAT bot clothing now Robotnik will be pleased''

Meanwhile not far from them Sonic running and behind him was Sonia who riding a motorcycle and Manic who was on a hoverboard then they stopped at a ledge that overlooked a facility then Sonia said ''okay over this ledge is Nimbus Island''

''well, what are we waiting for lets get going'' Manic said before the trio took off

On the outskirts was a pipe that seemed like it was the only way to get to the island then they stopped then Sonic said ''I will goon ahead while you two catch up''

''you got it bro after all every second counts'' Manic said before Sonic takes off

As Sonic was running was running through the pipe he didn't see there was a hole up ahead and as he fell though it and when he landed he said ''whoa that first step it's a dozy'' then he gets up and starts to looking around and as he was he was shouting ''hello any one here'' then he looks in side a building and said ''anyone home besides you rats'' and after receiving no reply he said ''guess no one is here'' then he felt someone touch his shoulder causing the blue hedgehog to jump and looking behind hi he sees his laughing then he said ''was making me jump like that really necessary''

''no but it sure was funny though'' Manic said

Once the two hedgehogs calmed down Sonia said ''so have you found any one yet''

Sonic shacks his head and said ''no I haven't''

''I see so that means that the island is abandoned, or they have been roboticized'' Sonia said

''we will keep on looking around here and you go and rendezvous with Sally and tell her'' Manic said

''you sure'' Sonic asked

''we are as you can get there much faster'' Manic replied

''well good luck and don't get into trouble with out me'' Sonic said before he took off

Once Sonic was at the rendezvous point, he looks around and not seeing the group that was to take out the convoy he shouted ''Sal, Ant where are you guys'' then he waited for a few minutes and upon not getting a reply he said ''I guess I have convoy to inspect'' before heading to the convoy's location

Once he got to the location, they were set to intercept the convoy he saw a SWAT bot helmet and so he picks it up and said ''this was Antoine's so that means they have been captured this isn't good'' then he took off running toward the island of Nimbus while following the track the convoy left

Meanwhile on Nimbus Island Sonia and Manic was looking around when they see the Cloud Buster then acting fast, they looked through some binoculus and sees Sally, Bonnie and Antoine tied up and being lead to the warehouse then Sonia said ''we have to do something otherwise we both know what will happen if something bad happens to Sally''

''I know what you mean while I do want to see Sonic go dark on Robotnik I don't want to see him like that'' Manic replied before they decided to move

In the warehouse Sally said ''what's the matter with you oh so fearless leader is he too mush of a chicken to confront us himself''

Just then Robotnik walks into the room and says ''my, my, my what a challenging tone you have there Princess Sally don't you know that its not an appropriate tone to have for royalty such as yourself not to mention the slanderous word to poor Clucks species now then tell me where is the hedgehog''

''which one after all isn't there three now'' Sally said

''no need to worry princess after all patience is one of my strong pine as all I just need to do is wait as there is no way he will leave his princess and friend in trouble'' Robotnik said then he walks away

Meanwhile Sonic was still following the tracks when he stops by a river and see the ship was airborne then he said ''oh no the ship is up'' then he took off running again unaware he was being watched

Sonic then spots his fiancée and friends making him stopped then he said ''hang on guys I will be there is a sonic second'' before he took off and ran to the tube that was damaged so he can jump into the tube and running though it

As sonic was running though the tube he heard some sort of explosion behind him and upon looking back he sees a fireball following him then he said ''whoa I better use the ol afterburners'' before speeding up and jumping out as seen as he sees the hole

When Sonic jumps out of the pipe, he sees the ball following him he said ''time to douse the flame'' before running to some water and jumping in it with the fireball following when Sonic came back out, he said as he shook the water off ''I don't want to do that again'' then he hears something then turns to see the pipe collapsing

Up above him he hears Robotnik said ''look around you hedgehog I have you know'' which the hedgehog does and sees SWAT bots walking toward him then Robotnik says ''you disappoint me hedgehog I thought you would be more of a challenge''

''it isn't over yet until the fat bot sings ol Buttnik'' Sonic said as the SWAT bots was cornering him then he steps in thick mad then said ''whoa now this is a major problem as I am stuck'' then he smirks then said ''then if a good thing that just because I am stuck it doesn't mean that I am powerless'' then he touches his medallion to summon his guitar then he shoot the SWAT bots then he puts it sway then pulls out his leg before going to safe Sally and the other

Once he was at the cage that was holding them, he said ''don't worry guys I will get you out'' then he goes to grab the bars

As Sonic was about to grab the bars Sally said ''wait Sonic don't grab the bars''

''what how come'' Sonic said

''because they will repeal you'' Sally replied

''and so, we had to say something so you wouldn't have been sent on to your sweet ol sugar-hog behind'' Bonnie said

''and also, we are not the important objective right now'' Sally said

Thinking about Sonic said ''I guess you are right''

''you know my princess I would hate to be disagreeing with you my princess but I'' Antoine said

''Antoine if we don't stop Robotnik no then we will all be real acid rain pouring on us'' Sally said in a serious tone causing the coyote to gasp then he points in fount of her and said ''look for yourself'' then he looks and see the ship flying away

Sonic shakes his head then sad ''there has to be a way to take that sucker out for good'' then as the plane was rising then said ''there has to be a way to take that thing out safely man I wish Sonia was here she good at stuff like this''

The they heard Sonia say ''did I hear someone say my name''

''as you can see, we have a slight problem'' Sally said as points to Cloud Buster

Then as the hedgehogs was thinks if something Sonic suddenly started to think of his nightmare then he started to sweat

When everyone notices this Bonie asked ''what the heck is eating at that hunky little hedgehog he looks like his seen a ghost''

''I don't know but I think something has triggered his nightmare to the point that he is petrified'' Sonia said

''so, all we have to do is snap him out of it'' Manic said

''right or else we are toast'' Sally said as she looks au and sees the Could Buster opening its hatches

''Sonic you uncivilized pincushion wake up wake up'' Antoine said

Just then Manic thought of something and snaps his fingers then while looking at Sally said ''Sally can you get your face out of the bars more specifically your mouth''

Sally nods then said ''I why do you want to know that''

''because I have an idea that might snap Sonia out of his daydream nightmare'' Manic said then he turns to his sister and said ''Sonia can you pick him up and force him to kiss his fiancée'' making everyone's eye to go wide

Realizing what her brother was up to Sally said ''I get it your thinking that something real can snap anyone out of there petrified state and depending on the severity of it only a kiss from the one they love can snap them out of it'' making Sally's cheeks go red

Manic nods then said ''that's right'' causing Sonia to nod the picks Sonic up and takes him to the cage and Sally stick her face out carefully so she doesn't get repelled then the duo have a little kiss which was enough to snap Sonic out of his state

Sonic looks around and asks ''what happened''

''there is no time for that the Cloud Buster is about to drop the acid'' Sally said

''if only we can use the well then Robotnik will have a taste of his own medicine'' Sonia said

Then Sonic snaps his fingers and said ''now I have a way past cool idea thanks sis but now I have to juice'' then he takes of running
