Carmen was walking down the street not doing anything illegal, yet. As she was looking thru the windows she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned to see who it was only to be greeted with a glove on a spring. It held out a lovely rainbow rose to her. She looked confused for moment but took the rose with a smile. Once she did the glove recoiled back into the gray fedora of a man standing a few yards away.
"Well hello there Inspector? Are you here to take me in?" She smirked as she crossed her arms walking over to him.
"Well..." The man started and blushed a little. The hands from his fedora fidgeted and tapped their fingers together sheepishly as he looked down.
"I uh herd it was your birthday."
"Oh? And was this lovely rose given for that occasion?" Carmen got very close to the inspector in gray and battered her eyes at him, even if only one was visible.
"Uh, um, well." He stuttered
"Thank you." She smiled and gave the android a kiss on the cheek.
"Wowzers!" He blushed and smiled big.
"Would you care to join me for dinner Inspector?" Carmen asked wrapping her arms around one of his pulling him in close.
"Me? Really? Wowzers."
"I'll take that as a yes." The lady in red chuckled and led him to a nice restaurant she had planed on eating at. And eating with the famed Inspector Gadget would most certainly prove to be a very entertaining night.
