Bryant: A feeling of vengeance. It can drive people to go after some of the most insane kinds of people. From the likes of crazy kinds of clothing or even Satan himself. Probably while wielding a powerful sword.
Thea: It can even make you go to the absolute worst kind of hell there is. High School. *Shudders*
Bryant: Rin Okumura, the Blue Exorcist.
Thea: And Ryuko Matoi, Wielder of the Scissor Blade. And public stripper.
Bryant: For this battle, we'll be analyzing both at their best.
Thea: We won't be giving them Kisaragi and Ucchusma though, since they can't really use those kinds of powers on their own.
Bryant: I'm Bryant Reese.
Thea: And I'm Thea Price.
Bryant: And we're here to analyse these two fighters and find out who would win, a WI Battle!
-Line Break-
Bryant: Rin Okumura wasn't ever a normal kid. He was raised alongside his younger twin brother Yukio under the wing of Father Fujimoto at a church. As a child, his incredible strength and bad attitude resulted in him getting into fights and trouble.
Thea: But despite that, he spent most of his childhood being a pretty sweet kid. He protected his younger brother and encouraged his dream of becoming a doctor. He admired Fujimoto and wanted to be like him when he grew up. He even learned to cook for all the members of his church, and was just trying his best to be a regular member of society.
Bryant: However, this all changed when he got in over his head one day.
Thea: Yeah, so Rin beat up a kid who was shooting up pigeons. Yeah, he got possessed by a demon, came back, managed to jump Rin with his friend, and almost managed to brand him with a red hot metal bar.
Bryant: But then something happened. Rin burst in azure blue flames, scaring off his opponents and revealing his true nature to both himself and the demon before him.

Thea: Yeah, turns out he's the son of Satan and a human Exorcist. At birth, he inherited his demon dad's fire, which was sealed away by another demon named Mephisto into a sword. And Fujimoto, who was also an Exorcist, was trying to raise him as a human in order to make sure that he wouldn't be executed to honor Rin and Yukio's mom. What a nice guy.
Bryant: But after he was revealed to be a demon child of Satan, his life took a turn for the worst. After lashing out at his adopted dad in anger and fear, Fujimoto was understandably hurt by Rin's words, which in turn sealed his fate.
Thea: Satan straight up possessed Fujimoto, and literally tried to pull Rin into Gehenna, the demon world.
Bryant: In order to protect Rin, Fujimoto chose to sacrifice himself. And in order to save his father's body, Rin chose to give up his human biology and drew the sword that sealed his power.
Thea: But, it was too late. And Fujimoto was dead. So Rin made up his mind. He figured that if he had to have Satan's fire, he might as well use it to avenge his dad.
Bryant: And so, Rin swore to become an exorcist, and kill Satan.

Thea: As a demon, he has superhuman strength, speed, and durability. He can heal from wounds that should be fatal, and he can talk to certain demons with his mind! But you gotta learn how to use a gun before you're allowed to shoot it.
Bryant: He was taken in by Mephisto, the demon who sealed away his power, and came to True Cross Academy, where he was trained by a student of his adopted father, named Shura, and even his younger brother in controlling his flames.
Thea: Yeah, turns out his blue fire was used in a tragedy called the Blue Night. Oh, that was nothing big. People were just incinerated by Satan in both body and soul in a mass massacre. Yeah, people are afraid for a reason. So he had to hide his power, by keeping his sword in its sheath.
Bryant: The Kouma Sword, aka Kurikara, is Rin's signature weapon, especially since he's a Knight Meister, which is a type of exorcist that relies on swordsmanship. Not only has it been proven to be impressively durable, but it also has the ability to seal certain demons away, though Rin has never used this ability by himself. Having been trained by Shura, Rin eventually learned both how to control his fire and how to use Kurikara.
Thea: Kurikara is actually the source of his power. It does have his heart after all. Every demon has a Demon Heart, which gives them their power. But this is kind of dangerous, since the Demon Heart is also their most vital organ. The heart gets destroyed, he's dead.
Bryant: Rin's flames work in the same way as Satan's. They're capable of burning everything, even a person's soul. But Rin can also control his flames, choosing what or when they burn.
Thea: And he can use them in a bunch of different ways!

Thea: Pull out the blade, and Rin transforms into his Half-Demon form. He can use Satan Slash, a flaming blue Getsuga Tensho! And then there's my personal favorite, Satan Bomb. He stabs the ground, and makes everything explode! His Satan Campfire incinerates opponents when he impales them, Satan Bomb Campfire is a combination attack, and when he uses Satan Claws, he can slash his opponents from both up close and a distance.
Bryant: Pretty ironic how his goal is to defeat Satan, yet all of his moves have Satan in their name.
Thea: Not all of them. His best attack is his Fireburst Samadhi, a blue flamed Spirit Bomb! He covered the entire side of a mountain with this move. And he can even use his fire to fly!
Bryant: Rin might be one of the more open minded exorcists, but he's not as disciplined. He relies more on his brute force and blue fire than he does his sword.
Thea: Well duh! Yukio keeps scolding Rin for relying on his fire but never bothers actually teaching him how to use his sword! What'd you expect?
Bryant: But relying on his fire can be dangerous. Should Rin's fire get out of his control, he risks becoming a mindless monster. Fortunately, Rin's impressive strength has been able to carry him through many of his earlier battles. In his human form, he's strong enough to send people through steel plates, and can heal from being impaled in the stomach. He's also able to take a hit from Amaimon, the king of Earth, that sent him flying at the speed of sound.
Thea: But Rin's Half Demon form is his go to for when the going gets rough. In this form, he's strong enough to keep up with Amaimon. Amaimon made a small earthquake that shook both the Academy and the Amusement Park they were in. Just by tapping the ground! That's a Magnitude 6 earthquake by the way.
Bryant: Which usually requires about 15 kilotons of TNT to create. Since Rin's demon form is able to match Amaimon's power, he should be comparable to this.
Thea: He's also as fast as Amaimon, who was able to catch up to Rin after punching him at the speed of sound in just a second.
Bryant: Considering the speed he flew and how long he did, Rin had to have been around 1.5 miles away. This means that Amaimon had to have moved at a speed equal to about 5,369 miles per hour. That's just under Mach 7. In terms of power, however, we look at when he fused with Ucchusma, a fire Demon, in their battle against the Impure King. Together with their powers combined, Rin was able to create a massive fireball with Flame Emitting Meditation. An attack so powerful, it was able to cover an entire mountain. Considering the size of the mountain and the fireball, if we were to compare it to Mt Atago, this would need an energy output of around 43 kilotons of TNT.
Thea: Hold on there Bryant. I thought we weren't giving him Ucchusma?
Bryant: We aren't. However, it's not too far off from what he should be able to do in his ultimate form: his True Demon form.
Thea: Yeah, so he ended up running into Satan, who ended up breaking Kurikara. Good news: He'll only die if the sword's hilt was broken, since that's the sword's essence. He could even make a blue fire sword! Bad news: It ended up returning his Demon Heart. Why is that bad? Because the resulting blue fire literally incinerated him. As in, his body was literally burned up, and he turned to ash. Great news: His True Demon form let him regenerate from that. That's right. He regenerated from being ash. And while he did have trouble controlling this form at first, he learned to control it.
Bryant: His True Demon form is leagues stronger than his regular Half Demon form. His strength, speed, and durability drastically increased. His healing became stronger. And his fire became even more powerful. He should be able to perform his mountain feat in this form.
Thea: A bit of a high ball, but sure.

Bryant: Rin is easily one of the most powerful exorcists in his class, even more so when he finally revealed his true power.
Thea: He took down the Kraken by himself, blew up a house while in his more restrained human form, killed the Impure King, took on other exorcists, and freed himself from Gehenna Gate! Which was supposedly unescapable. Not when Rin's in town!
Bryant: He also helped take down the Illuminati, a massively influential and powerful organization. Yes, this actually happened. But don't overestimate Rin. He still has a variety of weaknesses.
Weaknesses:
-Demon tail is really sensitive
-Can't control his emotions perfectly
-Demon heart is fatal point
-Holy weapons can still hurt him
-Relies on power more than technique
Thea: He resisted Holy Water, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt him. And both his heart and tail are weak points that can be used against him, since grabbing his tail makes him feel a lot of pain and his heart is both the source of his power and his lifeline. So naturally, he just leaves them completely exposed! Nice going there dingus.
Bryant: His most critical weakness however is his lack of discipline. He relies more on his power than he does his training, and even that he doesn't have that much. And him losing control of his emotions can make him lose the fight.
Thea: Still, Rin is one stubborn-ass exorcist. He's not going to stop doing what he needs to do to live the legacy of his dad, and protect his friends. Satan is a crappy father, and Yukio is definitely a huge d*ck sometimes, but Rin definitely has his brother's back, and his friends are more than the family he needs. You can bet he's going to fight for a long, long time.
(Rin) I'm Rin Okumura! And when I'm done, I'm going to be the best Exorcist you ever laid your eyes on!

Thea: High school chokes the life out of you enough already! Why the hell did anyone think it was a good idea to make a high school in charge of an entire city?!
Bryant: Honnoji Academy is certainly a, strange, school.
Thea: Special school uniforms that increase all physical abilities. The Student Council President, Satsuki Kiryuin, is the one completely in charge of the school and town. And didn't they kill a student at one point? Strange is an understatement.
Bryant: One would certainly have to be brave to take on that kind of school authority. And there just so happens to be one kind of student.
Thea: Someone in a stripper outfit and carrying one half of a scissor! Ryuko Matoi!
Ryuko Matoi:

Bryant: I dunno.
Thea: Aren't you supposed to be the researcher?
Bryant: Yeah, but not for these kinds of things!
Thea: Ah well. Anyways, Ryuko mostly grew up with only her dad, Isshin Matoi. Her mom wasn't in the picture just yet. But when he sended her to a boarding school to focus on his own research, she ended up being a delinquent. Hell, she even ended up joining a gang!
Bryant: But Ryuko still wanted a real family. So when she received a message from her father calling her back home, she didn't hesitate.
Thea: But when she got home, she found out that Isshin had just been killed via massive scissor blade through the chest. Damn. Who is she, Ryu from Street Fighter?
Bryant: With his last breath, Isshin warned Ryuko. He told her that if she wanted to live a regular life, she should just walk away. But if she wanted to avenge him, she should take the weapon used to kill him, as it would lead her to his killer.
Thea: And then the house blew up! Because there's no kill like overkill.
Bryant: Swearing revenge, Ryuko took up the murder weapon and began her quest for answers. Because it's always a good idea to mess with the crime scene.
Thea: Somehow, she ended up at Honnoji Academy. When she showed the Student President her Scissor Blade, Satsuki reacted, convincing Ryuko that Satsuki had the answers she needed. And then she got her ass beat by some random-ass boxer student.
Bryant: But this defeat actually ended up giving her her greatest weapon, and ally. After being dropped down into her father's secret basement, she discovered her father's secret project.
Thea: A living sailor uniform! Because every old man is a creep.

Bryant: This uniform is Senketsu, a Kamui.
Thea: What, like Kakashi's black hole eye?
Bryant: A Kamui is a living piece of clothing made up of Life Fibers, which are extraterrestrial parasites that are responsible for both the evolution and clothing of humanity.
Thea: Wait, what?! So my clothes are a parasite?!
Bryant: No, no, no. We're in a different universe, our rules are different from their rules.
Thea: Phew!
Bryant: True to his parasitic nature, Senketsu required blood to achieve his first form. Blood which he gets access to thanks to a special tool called Seki-Tekko. Unfortunately, Ryuko's embarrassment held them both back from his true power.
Thea: Well yeah! It covered like, ten percent of her body! Excluding the leggings/boots.
Bryant: Even so, Ryuko was a powerful force to be reckoned with. Even more so with Senketsu. Despite him looking like a stripper uniform, Senketsu has actually proven himself to be sturdy armor as he is made entirely out of Life Fiber. Not only can he protect her from damage, but he also drastically increased her strength, speed, and durability.
Thea: Yeah, you know the boxer she got her ass-kicked by? Well she completely stomped him in their rematch.
Bryant: And eventually, she got over her embarrassment, allowing her to achieve Synchronization with him, and later True Synchronization. The two are quite the pair. While Ryuko was reckless and stubborn, Senketsu was tactical and calm.
Thea: And Senketsu also came with a bunch of different powers too. Being made of Life Fibers, he can evolve during battle, letting him take on several different forms. My personal favorite is Senketsu Senjin. This form has a bunch of spikes all over and Wolverine Claws!
Bryant: But Ryuko seems to favor her Senketsu Shippu form. In this form, her leggings expand into gets, and the crest over her chest becomes wings. In this form, she can fly at hypersonic speeds.
Thea: But she can also combine these forms into Senjin Shippu, giving her both extra blades and flight! And when she went up against one of the Student Council members, her Senketsu Mubyoshi was created to counter the SC member's sonic attacks.
Bryant: And finally, should Ryuko become so angry that her blood boils, she takes on a violent, blood soaked form, mutating into a green skinned monster. While she has absolutely no control in this form, her power is increased even more. However, should she stay in this form for too long, she risks losing all of her blood.
Thea: But she doesn't need this Berserker Form, and she learned how to control her anger in fights.
Bryant: Even in Senketsu's normal form, the spikes on her skirt can be fired as grappling hooks, and Senketsu can boost Ryuko's speed for a short amount of time with his thrusters. And while Ryuko is mostly the one in control, Senketsu has the ability to control her movements. His 'mouth' can bite enemies, and he once carried Ryuko over a long distance.
Thea: Even without Senketsu, Ryuko is strong enough to take on students wearing One-Star Goku Uniforms, which can still give people superhuman strength and speed. And when going up against stronger opponents, she uses the Scissor Blade!
Bryant: The Scissor Blade is made of hardened Life Fibers, making it one of the few weapons that can cut through the Goku Uniforms and Kamuis. It can also extend into a Decapitation Mode, increasing Ryuko's range and power. With her signature finish, Fiber Lost, she can completely destroy a Goku Uniform and absorb its Life Fibers and increase Senketsu's power.
Thea: Not bad at all! But, turns out Ryuko and Senketsu have more in common than they thought.
Bryant: See, Isshin Matoi was originally Soichiro Kiryuin.
Thea: Kiryuin. You know, like Satsuki Kiryuin? Yeah, Satsuki and Ryuko are sisters, and their mom is Ragyo Kiryuin. Soichiro was killed by Nui Harime, a total b*tch who was made up of Life Fibers, who killed him under the orders of Ragyo. B*tch.
Bryant: If you recall, Senketsu is also made of Life Fibers, which is what allows him to have his power. However, it turned out that Ryuko is also a lifeform made up of Life Fibers. As a result, she possesses superhuman abilities, including an absurd healing factor. So as long as she isn't cut by anything in a way similar to scissors, she'll be able to regenerate from just about anything.
Thea: She's been cut apart, impaled several times, had her heart ripped out, lost gallons of blood at a time, and even skinned herself alive! And she just healed from all of that like nothing ever happened! And even if you do cut her with a giant pair of scissors, she can still regenerate so long as a single thread of Life Fiber isn't cut.
Bryant: Ryuko is strong enough to create a massive crater in front of the school in a casual clash with Satsuki. Estimating the size of and debt of the crater, this comes out to be just around 113 kilotons of TNT.
Thea: And for speed, Ryuko was fast enough to cut up 220 tennis balls several times in less than a second!
Bryant: She was also able to survive an explosion that destroyed Honnouji. Considering the size of the school and applying for the violent fragmentation of concrete, this comes out to be around 32 megatons of TNT. Even so, she's not perfect.
Weaknesses:

Thea: Yeah, since she's a being made of Life Threads, she's just as vulnerable to her Scissor Blade as others are. And if someone manages to get their hands on Senketsu's Banshi threads, which are basically what holds him together, the more they pull out the less effective he is as armor.
Bryant: Still, none of this has ever been able to stop her.

Thea: Yep! Ryuko is one bad-ass girl. She even helped defeat the Original Life Fibers and Ragyo, though she needed Kisaragi to do this, something we won't be giving her. But still, she saved the day, and found the family she wanted in the form of her sister, the school, and even her new girlfriend. Now that's how you make a good, strong, female who's gay!
Bryant: Actually, she's bisexual.
Thea: She's beautiful either way… But seriously, what the hell is a pogchamp supposed to be?!
(Ryuko Matoi) To hell with your opinion. I'll take my own path no matter what anyone else says!

Bryant: Alright, the stage is set, time to start this dance.
Thea: Battle ready, set, GO!
-Line Break-
Ryuko was enjoying her day. She was sipping a nice, cool, sweet drink. She was at the beach, with the temperature being just right. Her Scissor Blade was sitting in the guitar case, and the only noises were slightly squawking seagulls and the water. Nice and peaceful.
"BASTARD!" a voice roared, startling her. Ryuko sat up and looked to the side.
"What was-!" she yelled in surprise as a boy dressed in a school uniform and carrying a blue sheathed sword barreled right through her, sending her, her chair, her drink, and her case flying through the air. She landed with her head in the sand, pulling it out with a growl as she spotted her drink dumped onto the sand. She glared over towards Rin, who was supposedly swinging at nothing.
"Stand still and die demon!" Rin yelled as he continued to swing at the demon in front of him.
"Hey!" Ryuko yelled at him. She frowned when Rin ignored her.
"Hey!" she repeated. Rin ignored her as he continued to swing. She grabbed her metal case and hurled it to the back of his head, knocking him off his feet. Rin yelled as he face-planted in the sand. Ryuko caught the case as it bounced back to her. Rin stood straight and whirled around towards her.
"Hey! What the hell?!" he yelled.
"That's my line! You ruined my vacation and drink! Clearly, you need to learn some manners. And I'm glad to oblige!" Ryuko said as she pulled out her Scissor Blade and tossed the case to the side. Rin scoffed as he held up the Kouma Sword.
"Bring it on!" he challenged.
Don't lose your Creed!
Fight!
Rin and Ryuko charged towards each other with a yell. They swung their swords, clashing against each other as sand flew away from them. Grunting, they pushed against each other, determination burning in their eyes. Rin made the first move, shoving Ryuko away and following up with a side kick that knocked her down. Ryuko grunted as she got up from the sand and charged back towards Rin. He spun Kurikara and charged back. The two clashed with each other, ducking and parrying each other's swings. Rin ducked under a swing from the Scissor Blade and punched Ryuko. She stepped back and tried to swing again, only for Rin to jab the end of his sheath up and striking her in the chin. He spun and slammed Kurikara into her stomach, making her cough before launching her away. She skipped across the water before falling in with a splash.
"Heh, easy." Rin said with closed eyes and a cocky grin as he leaned Kurikara on his shoulder. He opened his eyes and looked around.
"Now, where the hell is that demon." he said as he began to walk away from the water.
"Surprise!" A sudden impact on his back made him grunt in surprise before yelping as he was kicked into the air. He was hit again from behind, sending him away from the beach. He coughed as he stood up. He turned to glare, only to splutter in shock as he took in Ryuko's outfit.
"What the hell are you wearing?!" he yelled as he held a hand over his eyes, peeking through his fingers. Ryuko growled in her True Synchronized From.
"You act all that shy, but I see you peeking!" she yelled.
"Ryuko! Control yourself!" Senketsu scolded.
"Right, right. Let's go!" Ryuko said as she charged towards Rin, her thrusters flaring as they boosted her speed. He yelled in surprise as he just barely dodged her downward slash. She spun and knocked him off his feet with another swing of her sword before kicking him high into the air. Rin coughed in pain as he flew up. Ryuko came up behind him. Rin managed to bring up Kurikara, blocking her axe-kick that sent him flying towards the street. His landing broke the asphalt and sent shards of the road flying through the air. Ryuko landed, swinging around the Scissor Blade.
"That's all? I'm disappointed." she taunted. Rin groaned as he stood up. He glared at her. Quickly yanking Kurikara from its sheath, he hurled the scabbard towards Ryuko. She held up the Scissor Blade and knocked the sheath away. Rin yelled as he burst into blue fire. Ryuko stared at this in shock. Rin grabbed Kurikara with both hands.
"Time to get serious!" he yelled as he shot towards her, spinning as he was surrounded by a vortex of blue fire. Ryuko held up her Scissor Blade, grunting as Rin slammed into her with Kurikara held up. Rin pushed her back before knocking the Scissor Blade away and swinging Kurikara upwards with a plume of flame, scorching her as she was sent flying into the air. Ryuko yelled in pain as she was burned. Rin slammed into her while engulfed in flames, slashing her several times before slamming his feet into her stomach. Rin slammed into her again while covering himself in blue flames. They slammed into the ground, creating a massive pillar of fire. Rin grunted as he was punched by Ryuko and skidded back, his feet digging into the ground. Ryuko panted as smoke came off her body.
"You done yet?" Rin said in challenge. Ryuko growled.
"Ryuko. We're nowhere near done yet. Keep up the pressure and we can beat him, but be careful." Senketsu suggested. Ryuko nodded before holding up her Scissor Blade. Her thrusters flared again as she shot towards Rin. The Exorcist held up Kurikara and the two clashed, slamming their swords against each other. Rin stepped back as Ryuko became faster, her slashes blurring as Rin held Kurikara up to block her as she spun. Becoming a small tornado, sparks flew as she pushed Rin down the street and into a building. Stopping her spin, she slashed Rin across the chest, drawing out a large portion of blood as he yelled out. He flew back, swinging Kurikara and stabbing it into the ground.
"Satan…!" he began.
"Oh no you don't!" Ryuko yelled as she charged towards him.
"BOMB!" Rin roared. Ryuko yelled out in surprise as blue fire erupted from underneath her. She covered her face as she flew back. The Scissor Blade flew past her. Rin appeared above her, shocking Ryuko.
"Satan Slash!" he yelled as he fired his blade of fire. Ryuko yelled as it carried her downwards. Senketsu glowed, as did Ryuko. Spikes erupted all over her body, dispersing the flames before she landed.
"Senketsu, SENJIN!" she growled as she brought her arms apart, claws sticking out of her hands and spikes all over her body.
"Woah! That's badass!" Rin said in shock. Ryuko growled as she leapt towards him. Rin shot towards her. The two clashed, Kurikara sparking against her claws. Her other set of claws knocked Kurikara away, before her first claws dug themselves into Rin's chest, making him howl in pain. He slammed his head into her nose, separating them with a shower of blood. They dropped down, Rin slowly getting up. Ryuko dashed towards him, slashing him as she ran by, making him groan in pain again. She whirled around and slashed him repeatedly before slamming into him. The spikes on Senketsu suddenly enlarged, stabbing into him, before sliding across the edge of Senketsu. Rin yelled in pain as the spikes tore into him. He erupted into flames, making Ryuko jump back again.
"Ow!" he cursed before taking to the sky. Ryuko looked after him. Senketsu glowed again, before fading to reveal the crest had enlarged into wings and the leggings became jet propulsors.
"Senketsu, SHIPPU!" Ryuko declared. The jets flared and she took off after Rin. He glanced behind him before spinning and firing multiple Satan Slashes. Ryuko swung the Scissor Blade, blocking each attack. Rin growled before suddenly increasing the amount of fire around him, channeling it all towards Ryuko. She held the Scissor Blade in front of her, spinning it rapidly. She managed to disperse the stream of fire. Rin appeared in front of her, much to her surprise. With a savage roar and a wild look on his face, he swung his sword downwards, knocking her out of the sky and into the streets below. Ryuko managed to land on his feet, creating a large crater. She looked up and jumped backwards as Rin impaled Kurikara right where she was standing. The ground erupted again as Ryuko was sent flying backwards.
"Ryuko! The sword!" Senketsu said suddenly. Ryuko's eyes narrowed as she spotted a crack on the blade.
"Break it! Now!" Senketsu said. Ryuko charged forwards with a yell. Rin looked up and snarled. He charged towards her as well. They clashed swords, Rin swinging wildly as he let out a savage yell with each swing. Ryuko held up the Scissor Blade, letting him hit the blade as she grunted from the impact. Rin roared as he reared back. Ryuko spotted her chance and swung her sword with a mighty yell. Kurikara and the Scissor Blade clashed with each other, but the older, frailer Kouma Sword couldn't take the pressure and the blade snapped. Rin's eyes widened and he screamed in pain as his fire consumed him. Ryuko jumped back at and stared at Rin in shock as he thrashed about, blood curdling screams cutting into her ears before stopping as Rin slumped over. His body blackened. The hilt of Kurikara clattered onto the ground next to the corpse, it's limbs separated from the body after crumbling apart.
"..." Ryuko stared in shock.
"I admit, that was not what I had in mind." Senketsu muttered. Ryuko sighed heavily.
"Wait! Something's wrong!" Senketsu said suddenly. Ryuko's head snapped back up, and she stared at the glowing heart. Kurikara's hilt floated upwards, and suddenly, another pillar of flame erupted. Ryuko held her arms up to try to block the sudden wave of heat. The corpse rose up, the limbs reattaching themselves. The ashes gave way for skin as Rin regenerated. His hair became snow white, and a blue V made of fire appeared on his head. His demon heart floated right above the middle of his chest. Ryuko yelped at the sight of the naked boy.
"What the hell! Show some decen-GLUK!" she choked as Rin suddenly appeared and sent her flying through the sky. Rin flew after her, grabbing her by the leg and swinging her down, throwing her through a building. Ryuko grunted as she broke through each floor, the building collapsing on top of her. Rin landed down on three points, holding the hilt of Kurikara in his other hand as he stood up. A blade of fire appeared. He raised his hand and caught the Scissor Blade as it fell after being forced out of Ryuko's hand. He pointed it towards the rubble.
"Is that it?! Come on!" he yelled in challenge. Ryuko's own yell sounded out. The rubble was all sliced apart by Ryuko, who had returned to her Senjin Form. The two glared at each other. Ryuko's clothes shone again as she took on another form.
"Senjin Shippu!" she said as the light died, revealing Ryuko in her Shippu Form with the spikes and claws of her Senjin Form. The two blurred from sight. Buildings were suddenly obliterated as the two flew into the sky. Rin left a trail of blue fire while Ryuko left behind a trail of energy. The two clashed with each other, Rin dual-wielding the swords while Ryuko used her claws. They slashed at each other, grunting while ignoring the cuts appearing and healing. Rin managed to knock the claws back and impaled Ryuko with his fire sword. Ryuko yelled before impaling Rin with her claws. Rin growled in pain. Ryuko's other hand shot up and grabbed the Scissor Blade.
The two struggled to pull it away from each other before Rin suddenly pushed it. Ryuko, surprised, was stunned as it slammed into her face, dazing her slightly. Rin gripped his Kurikara tighter before suddenly pulling it upwards, cutting off Ryuko's arm. She screamed in pain. Rin stabbed her again.
"Satan Bomb Campfire!" he yelled. A massive explosion split the clouds as Ryuko and her dismembered arm shot downwards. Ryuko groaned as she looked over to the arm. Her arm shot back towards her, reattaching herself. She flexed it.
"Are you okay Ryuko?!" Senketsu asked urgently.
"I'm fine. Time to end this!" she yelled as she shot back up towards the watching Rin. He pointed Kurikara towards her.
"You said it!" he declared. He began chanting under his breath, his blue fire gathering at the tip of his fire sword.
"Go now!" Senketsu yelled. Ryuko yelled as she shot towards the Exorcist, who's fire had become massive in size.
"Fireburst… SAMADHI!" Rin yelled as he hurled the fireball towards Ryuko. Ryuko held the Scissor Blade with two hands as it unfolded, taking on its decapitation form.
"Fiber… LOST!" she yelled as she swung her sword forwards. The two attacks collided, and the two struggled to push each other back, yelling at the top of their lungs. Rin yelled even louder as the fireball began pushing Ryuko downwards, before suddenly breaking apart and enveloping her in fire. Ryuko screamed in pain as she felt herself burning.
"RYUKO!" Senketsu screamed. Ryuko's eyes snapped open, and she began pushing herself forwards. With another yell, she broke through the fireball and impaled both Rin's heart and his body. Rin choked, blood spurting out of his mouth before the two began falling. Rin's body became engulfed in flames again as Ryuko struggled to stay awake. They slammed into the ground, creating a massive cloud of dust. When the dust cleared, Ryuko groaned as Senketsu turned back into his regular form. Ryuko pushed herself up to look into the other crater, where the charred body of Rin stared lifelessly back at her. Her head dropped down as she finally passed out.
"So much for a nice beach vacation." Senkestu grumbled.

Thea: Oh man! That was really intense!
Bryant: Rin technically had better training than Ryuko, giving him the slight skill advantage. And his fire allowed him to keep Ryuko at a distance, while Ryuko was limited in her ranged options. Plus, with Rin's fire being able to burn a person's soul, it should be able to bypass her durability. So Rin could potentially win a few match ups.
Thea: But just a few isn't enough. Sure Rin had the range, but Ryuko had the speed.
Bryant: Even if we were to assume Rin's True Demon Form was ten times faster than his regular human form, even if we were to say that he was a hundred times faster, Ryuko would still be faster than him.
Thea: Mach 7 times 100 equals Mach 700, or 537,088 miles per hour. That's fast, but it's unlikely he can actually move this fast, giving that there's no proof he can. Even if we did say he could move that fast, Ryuko cut apart those tennis balls. Yes, I'm serious.
Bryant: While these are tennis balls, they were sent towards Ryuko by a student wearing a Two-Star Goku Uniform, which gives the user enhanced speed and strength. So, we assumed that the tennis balls were moving as fast as a cannonball, which moves at 820 feet per second. Considering the distance between Ryuko and the tennis balls when she slashed them, the fact that she slashed them five times, the distance between all the balls, this means she would have to have been moving at a speed equal to 22,490,155 miles per hour. That's equal to Mach 29,312, and 42 times faster than the highball for Rin. And keep in mind, this was Ryuko before she managed to Synchronize with Senketsu, which is a weaker, slower state than her True Synchronize.
Thea: Which means that even though Rin was able to keep her at a range, she was still able to catch up to him real quick. And we're seriously highballing Rin here. Even if we said that his True Demon Form was twice as strong as Ucchusma, who was leagues above Rin at the mountain, he would still be weaker than a casual Synchronized Ryuko.
Bryant: Not to mention the Scissor Blade had a better track record than Kurikara in terms of durability. And while he did have Telepathy, he can only use it on High Level Demons.
Thea: Ryuko is definitely High Level, but not a Demon.
Bryant: Rin's healing factor did help him out in the long run. But so did Ryuko's. While Rin's healing factor was able to heal him from being shot in the head and being a body made of ash, it always took him a while. Even in his True Demon Form, his friends all thought he was dead before he finally healed. Where-as Ryuko's healing was able to patch her up almost instantly.
Thea: Sure, Ryuko didn't have a lot of ways to stop Rin's healing factor anyways while Rin's fire could burn her soul. But she could just attack his heart, while Rin didn't know about Senketsu's Banshi threads. Yeah Ryuko wouldn't know about Rin's heart either, but it's right there, and it looks like a heart. Why wouldn't she attack it?
Bryant: Ryuko's most advantageous asset, however, was the bond she had with Senketsu. She and Senketsu are partners who can rely on each other for more power, especially since Senketsu is plenty clever and helps Ryuko keep a calm head. Rin, however, fought alone in this battle, and had no such help. This meant that Ryuko could keep a more level head than Rin, despite the fact that Rin did generally control his temper slightly better.
Thea: Rin was one tough SoB. But Ryuko just had more strength, more speed, better durability, better healing, and a better sword. Rin just Exor-missed the mark, and Lost his Way to being a pogchamp. Which means the winner of this WI Battle is Ryuko Matoi!
I love Blue Exorcist and Kill la Kill. Hope I did these two justice. People keep saying either Ryuko vs Akame and Ryuko vs Shadow, but I just found the idea of this match-up slightly more appealing. I might do Kill la Kill vs Akame ga Kill, but for now, Ryuko is taking the gold from a bout with a Blue Exorcist. I hope you enjoyed it. As per the usual, leave a review! Azure out!
A man in a spacesuit was walking down the walkway, heading towards a large console. He had a large jetpack on his back, a missile poking out the top. He remembered the deal he had made with a strange, long-necked alien. Asking him to activate this strange, space ring. The man walked up to the console, only to stop as someone dropped down in front of him. This man was dressed in a large suit of green armor, with a yellow visor. The two men pointed their guns at each other.
