Chapter 10

Freddy and the kids walked up the stairways until they got to the fourth floor and looked around. On the right side there was Roddy Roller Rink, Hulda Hive, and Barbara Butterfly Boutique. On the left side was Bella Basketball, Cherrie Casino, and a third attraction that Freddy had never seen before.

"Knox Karaoke? When was this established?" Freddy thought out loud as he and the children walked past.

"There's another animatronic?" Gregory groaned.

"Wait... You're saying this wasn't here before?" Heather asked.

"I... do not know. I was never made aware of this attraction. And I do not have a "Knox" animatronic currently registered in my memoy," Freddy replied.

They stopped in front of a bot that held out what appeared to be a scanner. Gregory held up the Party Pass and the bot took it. Two blue beams of light came from its eyes and scanned the pass and put it into its chest.

"Party Pass has been verified. Have a great time!" the bot said as he rolled to the side to let Freddy and the children through.

They entered the door and the children were in awe.

The attraction itself was a huge basketball court that looked as though it was both futuristic but still had that 80's vibe. Both of the hoops' rings were made with a glowing plastic and the benchers were decorated with pink heart-shaped lights on their front lines. There was also a food court that had a dining area consisting of heart-shaped cyan tables and dark green chairs and an area that had basketball jerseys with designs of some of the animatronics on them.

"Wow... this place is so cool!" Gregory said while he saw the cutouts of some of the animatronics.

The cutouts consisted of Freddy, Chica, Monty, Roxy, Roddy, Sundrop, Moondrop, Stardrop, Reina, and what he assumed to be Bella holding basketballs themed around each of them.

Bella had the same body and eyes as Freddy but her skin was magenta pink. She wore a golden yellow bow in the space between her ears, green shoulder pauldrons, black bracelets with white spikes, a green circular earring in her right ear, and green shins. She also had on dark orange and green face paint around her eyes, dark orange nail polish on both her fingers and toes, and a cyan heart painted on the center of her chest cavity.

"Is this Bella? Why does she look like a recolor of you?" Heather asked.

"Well... a past CEO did not want to make an actual female body for Bella, so they recolored an old shell of mine and put her AI in that. The children still loved her though. Even those who had... "similar circumstances". She ended up becoming an icon for them," Freddy answered.

Heather nodded as Gregory ran to the food court. He looked around and saw a message on one of the tables.

"MANAGEMENT REPORT- Are we still looking for an animatronic to replace Bella or not? I've literally been asking Zane Oleverda about this for the past year but he hasn't replied one damn time."

'So Mr. Oleveda is the guy currently in charge of the company?' Gregory wondered.

Suddenly, he heard a series of beeping sounds coming from behind the food court's counter.

"Gregory! Did you find something?" Heather said as she and Freddy caught up to Gregory.

"Yeah. Something's making a lot of noise behind the counter. I can't see what it is though," Gregory said.

Freddy looked around until he saw a door with a scanner on it.

"What's that, Freddy?" Heather asked.

"This is an animatronic hand scanner. It can only be used by one of us Glamrocks or an animatronic with security protocols installed," Freddy responded as he placed his right hand on the scanner.

The scanner made a beep sound as the door connected to it opened.

"Is this another kitchen?" Gregory asked as he looked inside and remembered the kitchen he and Heather ended up in.

"Yes. Some attractions have food courts of their own, so they also require their own kitchens," Freddy replied as he entered said kitchen first.

He walked around to find the source of the beeping noise and made sure not to bump into anything. Gregory and Heather entered the kitchen once Freddy signaled that it was safe. Heather walked over to a refrigerator, opened it, and found two cans of soda.

"Fizzy Faz?" Heather asked as she gave a can to Gregory and closed the door.

"It is a soda brand created by Fazbear Entertainment. Each of us are featured on the cans of the flavor we represent," Freddy responded.

Gregory opened his and took a sip.

"What does it taste like?" Heather asked.

"Watermelon. It's actually pretty good," Gregory replied as he continued to drink his.

Heather shrugged as she put her watermelon Fizzy Faz in her jacket pocket. She suddenly heard a banging sound coming from one of the ovens. She walked over it and tilted her head to try and see what was inside. Once she knew she couldn't, she quickly opened the door and gasped.

"What is it?" Freddy asked as he walked over to where Heather was.

Gregory finished his drink and threw the empty can into the trashcan as he also walked over to the open oven. He finally saw the source that was making the beeping noises from earlier.

It was one of the caution signage robots that Gregory had seen before but this one was pink. It also had a white collar around its neck with a gold nametag that said "Kokoro", and a red ribbon tied into a bow on both of its bear-like ears.

It was laying on its side and Gregory realized it was beeping because it was trying to call for help.

"Kokoro! How did you get in here?" Freddy said as he took the pink bot out of the oven and placed it on the ground.

It beeped again as it rolled in circles as though it was happy to finally get out of that small space.

"You know this one?" Gregory asked.

"Yes. This is Kokoro. She is a caution signage bot that, unlike the others, showed that she could, to an extent, think like us. Bella ended up taking her in after we met her and was the one who gave her the name "Kokoro"," Freddy replied as Kokoro rolled up to Gregory.

"It's... nice to meet you, Kokoro," Gregory said.

Kokoro beeped back with an expression of joy as she rolled out of the kitchen.

"Does she want us to follow her?" Heather asked as she exited the kitchen.

"It appears so. What Kokoro lacks in words, she makes up for it in actions," Freddy replied as he and Gregory followed Heather to where Kokoro was.

She rolled around in circles in front of a door that was labelled "Storage Room" and a keypad in place of a doorknob.

"What's in here?" Heather asked.

"A room filled with a priceless treasure!" a male voice said.

Freddy and the children looked behind them as Kokoro rolled back a bit with an expression of fear.

A tall male figure appeared as though he came from the shadows themselves. He wore a suit that was bear-like with orange fur and patches of brown fabric stitched in random places, a creepy smile like Heather saw on the rabbit lady, a pair of purple eyes, and a bright blue tie.

"Who are you?" Freddy asked as he motioned for the children to move back, which they did.

"You may refer to me as "Ursory". I wanted to meet the ones who reunited the Sun and Moon in person," Ursory said in a way that made him sound graceful with every word.

"Cut the pretty words. Why are you and your friends even doing all this? You got a grudge against Fazbear Entertainment or something?" Heather asked.

"I do not believe it is your business to invade. As for why we are doing this, we are only doing what our Master has told us to do," Ursory replied as he put a hand in his pocket and drew out a purple envelope. "Surely you can understand that right Mr. Fazbear?"

"I am nothing like you all," Freddy said as he curled his hands to make fists, looking as though he was going to fight the bear man.

"Well, you would've if it weren't for that Robotology Ruler. I suppose the apple didn't fall that far from the tree after all..." Ursory said with a chuckle as he threw the envelope at Gregory's feet.

"What's this for?" Gregory asked.

"That door before you is not the only one you will find here in the Pizzaplex. Unlike the others, I actually want to help you a little," Ursory replied as Gregory picked up the envelope and opened it.

Freddy uncurled his hands as he and Heather looked over his shoulders and saw a note.

"I had to write this down without the bunnies and cat breathing onto my neck. In order to open these doors, you will have to put in the animatronic's FIRST name. You can figure it out from there."

"Why give us this?" Heather asked.

"Unlike those three, I actually want to play fair but still keep it interesting," Ursory responded as he began to walk away. "And I wanted to apologize for putting Kokoro in that oven. It was not my idea."

Before Freddy and the children could ask any more questions, Ursory disappeared the same way he appeared. Kokoro beeped as her eyes squinted, looking as though she did not believe Ursory.

"Now what?" Gregory asked.

"Might as well try it. It's not like we got anything to lose," Heather replied as she moved to the keypad.

'I think I know what he's talking about. Basically, you have to put in the number that the letter is placed in on the alphabet line. So, for Bella it'd be...' she thought as she punched in 2, 5, 1, 2, and 1.

The door opened after she pushed the checkmark button.

"Amazing... How did you do that?" Freddy asked.

"It's called simple math, Freddy. Now, let's see this "treasure" Ursory was talking about," Heather replied as she went in first with Gregory, Kokoro, and Freddy following behind.

The "Storage Room", if you could even call it that, was just a small dark room with a couple shelves. Heather flipped the light switch, and it was immediately brighter. At the end of the room there seemed to be something box-shaped covered by a pink and orange blanket. Gregory moved closer to it and pulled the blanket off. He gasped as he, Heather, and the animatronics saw someone sitting inside a cage.

It was a girl who seemed to be a year older than Gregory. She had short dark brown hair and light green eyes. She wore a Bella shirt, a knee-length dark green skirt, a pair of Bella themed shoes, a Bella themed backpack on her back that had a keychain of Bella wearing a clear space helmet on its zipper, and a Bella themed Faz-Watch on her left wrist. She held a Bella plush toy in her right hand like it was the only thing that could protect her and a pair of pink drumsticks with cyan hearts all over them in her left.

"Another child? Is this the hijackers' work?" Freddy said with a tone of fear.

The girl looked up when she heard Freddy's voice but did not utter a word.

"Are you okay?" Gregory asked as Heather found a padlock on the cage's gate that was just like the one on the door.

The girl merely nodded.

"What's your name?" Heather asked, wanting to prove a theory she had.

"It's Abigail," the girl answered.

Heather nodded as she got to work on the lock. She punched in the numbers 1, 2, 9, 7, 1, 9, 1, and 2. She pressed the checkmark button, and it accepted it. She opened the cage's gate as she said, "You can come on out now, you CP."

Freddy and Gregory looked at Heather in shock as Abigail stood up and walked out of the cage.

"How do you know if she is a Child Protection animatronic?" Freddy asked.

"Remember what Ursory said in his note? These locks only open with the animatronic's first name. There's no way these guys would put a real person inside a cage with a lock like that," Heather replied as Abigal nodded, agreeing with her explanation.

"Wait... then who made her? Isn't the guy who made Astre, Stardrop, and Reina missing?" Gregory asked.

"Yes. But that would mean someone else created Abigail. Why?" Freddy replied as he tried to look into his database to see if anyone else was involved with the development of the animatronics.

"Dunno... But they separated me from my friends," Abigail said as she gave the drumsticks in her left hand to Gregory and patted Kokoro on her head.

"Your friends? Are you saying there's more?" Heather asked.

Abigail simply nodded.

"Not exactly a good answer, girl," Heather sighed as Freddy spoke.

"I have identified two possible people who could have created Abigail and her "friends". The first is Alice Laskaris. She has been with the company for the past seven years, meaning she would have some access to any files related to the animatronics. But she has been on maternity leave since last month so it could not be her. The second is Ethan Wistrom. He has been with the company since the Pizzaplex was created, meaning he would have all access to the files. But... why would he create a group of animatronics without letting Management know?"

"I don't know..." Gregory said with a shrug of his shoulders as they all walked out of the storage room and back into the basketball court.

"Apologies. I have a bad habit of voicing my concerns out loud," Freddy said with a nervous laugh.

"It's okay, dude," Heather said as she checked her Faz-Watch and saw that it was now 1:30 AM.

"Hey, Freddy? Were these..." Gregory asked as he held the drumsticks Abigail had given him out for Freddy to see.

"Yes. These were Bella's drumsticks. I do not know how these people managed to acquire them, but at least they are still in good condition," Freddy replied with a nod.

Abigail took her backpack off and unzipped it as she put her Bella plush into it next to her Bella action figure. She motioned for the drumsticks and said, "I will keep them safe."

Gregory could tell that Abigail was being honest and he gave them to her. She put them into her backpack, zipped it up, and put it back on.

"What do we do now?" Heather asked.

"We should send Abigail to the Daycare. She should be safer there," Freddy replied as Abigail merely nodded.

Gregory tapped on the Sundrop icon, and his voice came through.

"Hiya, little buddy! How's it going?"

"Hey, Sundrop. Could you come here?"

Once Sundrop was caught up with everything that happened in the last half hour, he nodded and took Abigail's hand.

"Well, Mr. Wistrom was always a little strange, but I never thought he would make some animatronics without anyone knowing..." he said as he fiddled with one of his rays. "And I would not fully trust this "Ursory" person either. Also, don't worry. Stardrop said she'll take care of Kokoro for you."

Gregory and Heather nodded at Sundrop's response. He and Abigail waved goodbye as they walked away from the trio with Kokoro quickly rolling after them.

Sorry if this one felt a little short. I'll admit I'm not that good at writing certain places out.

1. Yes, I put in a fourth floor of the Pizzaplex so Bella Basketball, Cherrie Casino, Roddy Roller Rink, Hulda Hive, and Butterfly Boutique could fit in.

2. Knox Karaoke is another attraction I thought of while writing this chapter out. Don't worry, the trio will explore this place in another chapter.

3. I did change the Party Pass design a bit for simplicity's sake.

4. Finally showed off Bella's design. And yes, she was made by Fazbear Entertainment to pander to trans guests because of course they would pull something like that.

5. The animatronic hand scanner is another concept I came up with.

6. Kokoro is another one of my OCs. Also, I loved writing out her design.

7. We FINALLY get a real conversation with Ursory! The whole time I was writing his dialogue, I got flashbacks to Marluxia from Kingdom Hearts. Also, why would he want to help out the trio?

8. The keypads and padlocks were another concept I came up with because who doesn't love simple math?

9. Originally, I wanted Abigail to be one of the missing children, but considering RUIN still hasn't come out yet, I changed her into a Child Protection animatronic.

10. Yep. Whole thing took a half hour to happen.

11. I laughed out loud while I was writing out Freddy trying to be a galaxy brain.

Next up is Cherrie Casino. Wonder what secrets will be revealed there?
