"So, you're going to become a hero?" Naomasa asked Obito, the two of them eating at a donut shop, the irony not lost on them. "I guess even you can feel the call, yeah?"
"No, it's not that, well, that's not the reason I did," Obito said with a sigh. "I'm there to support someone going through with it. I'd been reminded that I can still be a cop while being a hero… right? That's still effective."
"Hm, hm, it is, no worries," Naomasa was kind of relieved. "It's been pretty interesting working with you, Obito-kun, I'm glad I'll still be seeing you in the force."
"I am as well, it's just gonna take more than six months."
"Sadly but you'll probably come out with more understanding of the world, our laws, and yourself. Things change in such a short time."
"Don't I know it."
Naomasa hummed, sitting in the waiting room with his former potential officer.
Obito didn't have a lick on him, not a bit of bruising, he was in prime condition and that was impressive beyond words for just a soon-to-be high school student.
Then again, he was going to be a hero student, soon, maybe he'd always prepared.
It'd been close to an hour after the incident so when the families of both students involved came in, along with a few hero students and an extra family that he knew wasn't related, Naomasa smiled as Obito shot them a quick wave.
Hisashi sighed in relief as Inko blubbered her way into incoherency.
Izuku ran over along with Shouto, Natsuo, and Katsuki, the four looking at him for answers that he smiled calmly at them with.
"She's fine, I was able to relieve some of her injuries and pain with some of the knowledge I know. If anything, she should be dealing with some bruises but that's it," he said confidently as Naomasa chuckled. "We're fine."
"It's true," came the voice of a man, one of two, who entered the room. "From what we've learned, Fuyumi-shoujo will be fine!" Came the voice of All Might as Endeavor briskly walked past him, ignoring the gawking of everyone else in the room, before making it to Obito and Naomasa.
"How is she?" Enji Todoroki, father of formerly four, asked with concern but Obito nodded.
"She's fine, last we saw her. I applied a bit more of my skills before she went in to get x-rayed. She seemed more than fine."
Endeavor let out a long breath as his sons shot him weird looks.
'Dad's never so rainy,' Shouto thought with some disbelief. 'I mean… Sis is in the surgery room, right? B-But Obito-nii said she was fine!' So why the glum?
Natsuo, meanwhile, didn't know what to feel.
'Why aren't you angry?' Was the first thought to pop into his mind. 'We've been learning to protect ourselves recently, why aren't you angry?'
Angry at the idea of them not proving to be up to his standards. Angry at the idea of them letting some random villain take them down, though that wasn't the case, from what he knew.
This new emotion at the thought of one of them being hurt… Natsuo didn't understand what the hell was up with his father… No, that wasn't true.
Over the past almost-month, he'd watched the man laugh at petty things, grunt in curiosity at others, smirk at some, grow thoughtful at a few, and then hum in pride.
All of those things, mind you, had been associated with them, the entirety of their family. All this was new beyond words and he didn't understand why he'd changed so much.
He had one thought, really, Obito-nii-chan had somehow taught him manners or something! He had to! Dad was always so puffy and angry before! Even when Toya died!
Natsuo's head fell before he felt a hand on his shoulder.
Turning to see a calm Obito nod, he blinked before really considering how much Obito-nii actually knew about their situation.
"Thank you," the boy whispered and he nodded.
"No problem."
"T-There's All Might, nii-chan!" Izuku said as the blonde chuckled while Endeavor huffed.
Another new thing Natsuo was noticing more of! His dad got huffy!
"Hmph, hmph, pleased to meet you, shounen. And I'm surprised to see you here, Naomasa, isn't your jurisdiction somewhere else?" The No.1 asked.
"Crazily enough, Obito-kun has been interning under me at my precinct for most of August. He's been a welcomed, rather practiced, hand at helping me with documentation and finding clues," Naomasa said as Obito nodded to the blonde hero.
"And from what I've seen in the videos, has a rather powerful quirk to boot," All Might said with a hum. "And he's untouched! I didn't think people out of middle school could handle a villain's goons and the villains so easily."
"For what it's worth, Fuyumi was the one fighting the actual villains when things went south," Obito threw in as Endeavor wore a faraway look towards the doors that Fuyumi went through earlier. "She handled the two up there until I could get to her. She's really deserving of your praise."
And, being honest, more of his own. Obito had been on her ass about the overtraining but she'd been holding her own against villains out to kill, clearly, from when he'd saved her.
She'd fought against two rather tough villains with no experience to her name but the training she'd believed in. In an embarrassing turn of events, he knew of another who'd done so due to neglect but he'd been lucky to find someone to help circumvent his issues before it all came crashing down.
"That's not wrong, I'd love to praise her but she seems preoccupied at the moment," the blonde said as Katsuki pointed at him.
"You were super slow, old man!" He barked and Obito, Enji, Hisashi, Masaru, and Rei snorted in unison while everyone else looked on in shock, horror, or amusement. "You can't just have nii-san coming around and saving the day, he'll take your job if you aren't careful!" Katsuki grunted with crossed arms as All Might rubbed the back of his head.
"W-Well, yes, that's not wrong about me being late," he said with a chuckle. "I was in the middle of, oddly enough, pulling a cat out of a tree."
"It's so stereotypical, I believe it," Hisashi said with a laugh. "God, that boy's gonna break someone's heart some day and he won't notice a thing."
Mitsuki's eyebrow ticked at the speed of light. "Boy," Katsuki jumped before hiding in Obito's lap.
"Can't touch me now! Nyeh!"
Obito's eyebrow rose slowly as Mitsuki chuckled maniacally.
"What do you think'll happen when we leave?"
"... N-Nii-chan, you think I could move?"
Natsuo laughed as Shouto and Izuku snickered a bit.
"No, what would your father say?" Obito asked with amusement.
"He'd live with it, birds gotta leave the nest sometime!"
"Kaugh!" Masaru's smile nearly shattered as he slumped next to his wife who's cold rage grew several magnitudes. "M-My heart."
"Don't kick the bucket."
"Ah! K-Katsuki!?"
Inko chuckled nervously. "Now, now, Katsuki, your parents wouldn't be leaving you alone, they live down the street."
"... Dang it, my plans."
"Are full holes," Naomasa said with a chuckle. "I don't think early emancipation would work out, either."
"... I don't know what that word means, old man, but I don't like it," Katsuki admitted with a huff as lightning struck the detective.
"O-Old?!"
"Hmph, I'm glad you all are so lively," came Nemuri's calm grin, the woman covering her body in a tan cloak… but Obito saw that she hadn't removed her dominatrix-style mask.
"I think you should have just changed before coming here," he said flatly and she laughed nervously.
"I was kind of on the clock," she said with a shaky giggle. "This is all I could put together."
"... Alright, sorry."
"No problem, bud. You guys had a way more exciting day than I did."
"So, everything is alright, right?" Yu asked and Yoha nodded with crossed arms.
"It is."
"So, what about you, senpai?" Kaoruko asked Obito who raised a brow. "I mean, you guys fought villains! I thought you'd be more… harmed."
"It really wasn't as hard as you all make it sound," he said simply and the three grinned.
"Team Yu is a go!" Yu said with a cheer as Obito raised a brow. "Hehe, having people who can outright fight well is a pretty good perk."
"I'm immediately concerned," Obito said with a flat look as the three grinned nervously. "What happened?"
"... H-Haa?!" Came a familiar voice from a pair of flapping double doors.
Their frost princess seemed to have returned with a confused set of blinks before she squeaked as she was besieged by friends and family alike.
"W-Wait, please, let me speak!" She said as the group's murmurs came to a crawl.
"Are you alright, honey?" Rei asked and Fuyumi took several deep breaths before nodding.
"I-I'm fine, the doctors said that I'd be alright if I just took it easy for a few days," Fuyumi said with a smile as the group, as one, sighed in relief. "It's also thanks to helping around the time that it happened that it's as benign as it is."
"Helped? I like the idea but did he honestly have first-aid on hand?" Nemuri asked.
"N-No, it's fire healing, I believe," Fuyumi said but her fellow UA-bound female friends blinked in confusion. "W-Well, I don't really get it."
"With my quirk, you know how I can see cells, right?" Obito stepped in and the three nodded. "So, you know how when you have an ache, you'd put either ice or hot water on it, correct?"
"W-Whoa! You're melting her ice inside for healing?!" Kaoruko gaped.
"No, not necessarily… I believe," Obito said with a sweatdrop. "Look, fire healing is a way of revitalizing cells, tissue, and organic tissue through the use of heat. Normally, it'd only be applied to the outside but with my enhanced vision, I can slip flames into her body to warm her down to the cellular level, stimulating quick healing with my flames being consumed, as energy, for the process."
"It's a valuable skill," Naomasa said as Yu grinned.
"Dude, we've got a healer slash fighter! We got a paladin!"
"We do!" Kaoruko agreed with a thumbs-up. "We've got a giantess, a dwarf," she grinned while pointing at herself. "A Medusa, a mage, and a paladin! We're a regular old party of adventurers!"
Obito began to feel his eyebrow twitch as Fuyumi smiled nervously.
'Isn't that just one man being surrounded by women? Doesn't that look like a harem?' Obito, Hisashi, Rei, Enji, and Fuyumi thought in horrifying unity. 'The idea is terrifying.'
The less said about the tension in such an organization if an interpersonal relationship happened, the better. It'd be a hell of a nightmare.
'... W-Wait, I-I wouldn't care, right?' Fuyumi considered with her chin in hand and head down. 'Like… I'd be happy that the girls were in happy relationships… Right?' Her eyes moved to her side where Obito stood, the older teen shooting down some crazy idea that Kaoruko had. 'Even…'
Fuyumi frowned as she couldn't complete the thought. 'Even if it's… W-Why can't I think about it?! Obito w-would…' What the hell was wrong with her? "... Hmm, so, they said that I'll be here for one night, just in case, and it's not even the evening yet."
"Are you hungry?" Hisashi asked and the girl blushed as her stomach growled. "Heh, I'm a bit surprised that you are but I guess fighting villains is very energy-intensive."
She blushed, remembering the real reason why she was so hungry. 'I need to apologize,' a half-hearted apology on her potential deathbed wasn't something Fuyumi saw as valid. 'I really almost died.'
The sheer idea of it had been humbling beyond anything she really understood.
She almost died.
"Everything alright?" Obito asked quietly and she frowned.
"I… Well, I need to think some things over, a lot of things."
"I get that."
"For now, I am hungry. I think we can get something to eat, for now, I'm not bedridden, thankfully," Fuyumi said with a smile.
"Hmm… What do you want to eat?" Endeavor asked as All Might chuckled and Fuyumi grinned.

Standing off to the side of the grill place they'd decided to go to, Obito raised a brow as Fuyumi smiled in her light blue medical scrubs, the girl having gotten her school shoes back before they left.
"What's wrong?" He asked and her smile grew weak before Obito blinked as she bowed. "Fuyumi?"
"It's… I'm so sorry about what I said to you when we were in that classroom," she said as he sighed.
"Please, stop bowing, I'm definitely not worth that," he said. "The fact remains, you were feeling like I failed you, that's valid."
"E-Even if it is that doesn't mean I should have said, and did, what I had," Fuyumi said with a sigh. "You've done so much for me and I threw all of that in your face, that's not what a good student or friend would do."
"..." Friend?
She considered him a friend? What the hell would make her… Dammit, he'd not been thinking, hadn't he?
He was still a teen, physically, doing all this for some random girl would make one think he was either in love or her friend.
"... I understand your worries but I believe we can just let bygones be bygones, alright?" He said with crossed arms. "If you're ever feeling unsatisfied with your training, please, tell me. I understand what it means to not understand if there's a setback or because of yourself."
"... Alright," Fuyumi said with a smile as he nodded. "I think we should head back in before Yu gets any i-ideas," she added with a slight blush.
"Hmph, might be too late, I could feel their eyes from around the corner!" He said out loud, causing Fuyumi to turn before she blushed at the sight of the sheepish trio of girls.
"You guys!"

The weeks following the Kidnapping Incident had been… calming, Obito supposed.
The training that Fuyumi had received was now physical and mental, a change that the girl herself seemed to really appreciate, actually.
The other surprising news had been that Fuyumi had decided to take the Exams fully and truly.
~NRK~
"Really?" Rei asked as Enji tilted his head with a frown.
"Yes," Fuyumi said, Obito next to her along with her siblings. "I… I'm glad, dad, I really am… but I need to prove that I belong there and go through the Exams," she said as they sat around the kitchen table.
"... Very well," Endeavor said with some thought. "Though, even if you don't pass, I can simply have you on as an intern."
"Thanks!" Fuyumi said with a grin. "N-Now, the Exams are in a week, I think I need to think about what I'm going to wear."
"I'm assuming not something from a costume company?"
"I want this to be as genuine as possible," she said as Obito cupped his chin.
"Then let me make some clothes for you," he said and the family shot him a look of disbelief. "I'm a bit of a tailor, I've done patches, sewing, and a little color theory, I made Izuku's little All Might outfit, after all."
"You did?!" Shouto perked up causing Fuyumi and Rei to giggle. "D-Do one for me!"
"I'll get around to it," Obito said. "So, do you want me to?"
"... Alright," Fuyumi said with a smile before she blushed along with her mother. "U-Um, about measurements."
"Just get your mother to get them for me."
~NRK~
Come the day of the Exams, Obito, Fuyumi, Kaoruko, Yoha, and Nemuri stood outside the gates to UA.
Fuyumi blushed a bit, looking at her attire.
Turns out, Obito did good work, almost scary work really.
Wearing a thin, light blue, long-sleeved hoodie with a dark blue emblem, that she'd seen in his 'Sharingan', on the bottom. The arms and sleeves were tightened to her limbs by dark blue bands that her father procured 'normally'.
Beneath that, she had on a dark blue skirt under which were a pair of black spats that Obito advised for 'safety'. Putting on some thigh-high white socks, she finished it all off with some black boots her mother procured from the UA Store.
"Obito does very good work," Kaoruko said with a grin as she tied her arm warmers.
Wearing a white crop top, yellow pants, and white sneakers, she grinned as her yellow-white pinstripe arm warmers fit snugly on her forearms before she finished off her fit by tying a white headband on with the kanji for 'Victory' on it.
"No, seriously, where does all this skill come from a random kid?" Nemuri wondered in total confusion, wearing what she had worn when the group first met. "Like, do you do taxes?"
Yoha, meanwhile, wore her workout uniform as she gave tips.
"I haven't been allowed near them," Obito said as stretched his arm.
Wearing a black, skin-tight, short-sleeved top, dark blue pants that he tied at his ankles, and some custom made ninja sandals of that same color, Obito slipped on some black gloves as Fuyumi took a red hair tie out of her pocket and tied her hair back into a slightly long ponytail.
Ever since this whole event started, the group had found that her hair had grown oddly quickly to the point that it was already reaching close to the middle of her back… in a month from its former chin-length status.
Then Obito explained that the 'fire healing' had the cellular effect, again, and he'd forever been hounded by Nemuri and Yu on giving them longer hair.
He hadn't relented yet.
"I find productivity is my best form of relaxation," he said as he tightened his hand into a fist. "Hmph, I'm ready. Now, we're just waiting-"
"I'm here!" Came the hurried call of their resident giantess as she skidded to a stop by them with a grin. "I had a super big breakfast!" Yu declared with a grin, fists on her hips.
Yu, unlike the others, had taken to wearing an embarrassing amount of spandex not of Obito's make, and for good reason.
It was a dark blue bodysuit that had no sleeves with white horn motifs around its midsection and back that had a small hood at the back. Wearing a pair of stark white boots, Yu finished it off with some white arm warmers.
The hood had been the only addition Obito could suggest.
"I'm gonna end this test and look fabulous doing it," she said, combing her hair over her face like a model. "Paint me like one of your French girls, lover boy~"
"I don't have time for this," Obito said with a flat face and ticking eyebrow.
The horrifying fact? She did look like a model like that and had a fit body.
'Fucking hormones,' he grunted before walking off into the gates. "Come on, let's actually get to the testing centers."
"Hehe~" Yu skipped after him. "I bet he's flustered! We've found his weakness, spandex!"
"Stuff it, Takeyama!"
"Hm, hm," Kaoruko grinned as she and a slightly giggling Fuyumi followed them in with Yoha and Nemuri at their backs. "I guess she does rock spandex well, I know, for the life of me, I can't do that," she said with a blushing and shaky smile.
"I-I wouldn't want to," Fuyumi said with a red face at the thought. "S-Scandalous!"
"The prudes! You guys gotta strut your stuff!" Nemuri admonished as Yoha snorted. "Why, just look at that boy over there, displaying that delicious back like he's trying to cause a scene!"
"Excuse me?!" Obito shouted at her.
"You're doing great, hon!" Nemuri waved him off. "Like, showing off your best 'you' is the whole point!"
"Hm, hm, as an adult, should you be saying that?" Yoha asked and Nemuri grinned, triangular glasses shining in the morning sun.
"I'm literally called the '18+ Hero' for a reason, hun."
"That's… not better."
They passed the schoolyard and went into the main building.
"Now, there are two centers," Nemuri said and Yoha nodded, the six of them standing by a hall corner. "A and B. What do your tickets say?" She asked as the to-be students pulled said things out of their pockets.
"B," Obito said.
"B," Fuyumi also said with relief as the others chuckled.
"A, aw man," Kaoruko whined before Yu shot her a thumbs-up.
"I'm also 'A', damn, talk about the divide," the giantess said with a solemn hum. "Well, I mean, they're not gonna stop us from being on a team, right?" She asked Yoha, hopefully.
"They shouldn't but I don't know how this situation works. Nemuri-senpai?" Yoha said and the 18+ hero hummed in thought.
"Well, I can ask, I've never seen this before either. Then again, I doubt they'd separate your hero team just because you'd end up in different classes," Nemuri said and Obito grunted.
"So these are going to separate us into classes," he understood and Nemuri choked.
"Fuck, don't tell them I said that," she groaned.
"I mean, is it really that hard to find out?" Yoha asked with a sweatdrop. "They're literally A and B."
"Yea but I'm soon gonna be faculty, I can't just be giving out info for everybody."
"Not wrong," Yoha said with a nod before facing her friends. "Well, you all should get in there and handle whatever comes your way. Obito had a good idea on how the Exams are."
"Well, I can shine in one of them," Yu said as Obito shrugged. "I know he's gonna outdo all of us but the legendary Number 2 spot has my name on it!" She said with shining eyes as both Fuyumi and Obito's eyebrows twitched at the wording.
'That's such bad irony,' there's no way that something like that came out of their friend's mouth when both knew of the situation Fuyumi's family was dealing with.
"Come, Kao-chan! To our Exam room!"
"Hm, hm, gotcha, gotcha, we'll see you guys when everything's said and done," Kaoruko said with a grin as she and Yu jumped the two in a big hug that both 'B' pair yelped at.
"Self-control!"
"T-That's too sudden!"
"Hehehe~" Kaoruko and Yu snickered as they vanished into their room doors. "Later."
"Hmph, those two are real pieces of work," Yoha said with a smile on her face as Nemuri grinned.
"Oooh, I sense a sitcom."
"Don't do that, this is real life," the snake girl said with a shake of the head before facing the fire and ice duo. "... Ya know, fire and ice, it's kind of an ironic set-up," Yoha said with a grin as her snakes lazily hung about. "I expect to see you two in these halls, you know."
Obito smirked while Fuyumi smiled.
"We'll see you," they said before entering the door across from the 'A' door.
As they left, Yoha nodded as Midnight snapped her fingers.
"Yep, you were right, his smirks are meow."
"The law, Nemuri-senpai, the law."
They sat down next to one another near the back and middle of the numerous long tables that'd be acting as their desks.
"I-I'm glad I got my grade up before we finished cram school," Fuyumi said with a sigh of relief as Obito hummed. "Though, having dad crash course me on the rules of herodom was a definite plus."
"It was, it all seems like common sense at first glance but I didn't think there was much leeway when it came to destruction, lost causes, and other little things," he said as he leaned back in his seat.
"It's true, there are numerous things that heroes aren't allowed to do but just as many sneaky things we can to promote our society," said another voice from Fuyumi's other side.
Both teens turned to see an ash-blonde-haired boy throwing them a two-finger salute.
"How ya doing?" He asked, slightly tan skin relaxed with a smirk on it of a similar nature as golden eyes looked their way from beneath yellow glasses. "Todoroki-san, Midoriya-san."
Wearing a tan one-piece jumpsuit with black and dark brown accents, he had on black boots and a furred collar. From his back, the two could see his possible quirk as powerful, long, red wings hung off his shoulder blades.
"You know us?" Fuyumi asked curiously, blinking at the boy's thick lashes and odd accents around his eyes. "Um, no offense, we've never met you before."
"It was the news, most likely," Obito said and the boy grinned.
"Nice, you got it in one," the winged one said. "Name's Takami, how are ya doing?" Takami said with a relaxed posture. "Well, we are here to be heroes so I guess, how ya likin' it so far?"
"I-It's fine," Fuyumi said and Takami hummed.
"Your sudden change in direction was kind of odd," he said and she rubbed the back of her head.
"I know, I bet there are gonna be tons of reports about all of this, dad explained how the news might take this."
"Endeavor, the Number 2 Hero," Takami said with a wide smile, surprising the duo a bit. "Hehe, I'm kind of a big fan," he said, scratching his chin.
Obito was… no offense to Enji but he was alarmed as all hell and Fuyumi was left staring in disbelief.
"Haha, I know, I know, but there are Endeavor toys, I'll have you know."
"Right, apologies, we didn't mean to be rude," Obito said as Fuyumi nodded. "It's just… you understand."
"I do," Takami said as their proctor came into the room. "I hope to see what you're capable of in the battle Exam."
"Same."
Fuyumi hummed at that, turning to pay attention before blinking at a thought.
'... battle exam?'
~NRK~
Finishing the written test had been… calming, for Fuyumi.
She sighed as the other students began to get up and leave.
"How did you feel about it?" Obito asked the two. "It's not necessarily a hard test but it tests your way of thinking at odd moments."
"Oh, I noticed that, too," Takami said. "The little things like moving the girl's family across to just stopping the villain who's already on their heels. It's a question that asks which is going to be your method."
"Oh, thank goodness, I thought I was overthinking that question," Fuyumi said with a sigh. "I still had no idea what to do so I just wanted to make sure the family was alright."
"I went after the villain," Obito said. "A quick enough handling of them means I don't need to use resources on moving the family and can just get them back to normalcy faster."
"I went with the villain as well," Takami said. "I don't know that family, I just need to move on and get rid of the villain."
"That's a cold way of looking at it," Fuyumi noted but Takami shrugged.
"When there are heroes who are fit for it, you send them to do the job, right? It's all about resources."
"It's not incorrect to think that way, logically," Obito said and Takami grinned. "But it's still our job to ensure that they're alright. Physically and mentally."
Fuyumi blinked before she beamed. "I think so, too. You don't just solve the problem of the villain by just beating them… I-I think it's also showing a powerful visage that people know they'll be protected by."
"Oh?" Takami was intrigued. "That's kind of idealistic, no? Not everyone gets saved nor can every hero save someone the way they need to."
"... You're not wrong," Fuyumi said after some thought before her eyes shined with determination. "But you can't decide that you aren't the one that can save them before trying, Takami-kun. Sometimes, you might not even know you've had an amazing effect on someone, that's part of the job, isn't it?"
Takami's eyes widened before they closed as he chuckled. "You two are something else compared to everyone else here, huh?" He said before getting up. "Come on, we're literally the only ones left in here."
It was only then that the two noticed and jumped to their feet.
"We gotta go! Where'd they walk to?!" Fuyumi stressed.
"I got it, don't worry," Takami said.
~NRK~
Obito's opinion of the boy rose several notches when they were led to the gathered group of students near the back of UA.
"That's impressive, vibrations through your feathers?" He asked, utterly impressed, causing Takami to chuckle sheepishly. "And, damn, this place is a city and just a battleground?"
"Yeah, I gotta make the most out of my situation," he said with a smile. "But I bet you two have your own set of extra skills for your elemental moves. Also, yeah, UA is freaking amazing."
"We do," Fuyumi said with a smile. "I was trained by Obito-kun and he impressed upon me that there are numerous ways to use a quirk like ours. Plus… how many of these sights exist? D-Didn't the proctor say there were A through G of these?!"
"?"
"I trained her, her siblings and mother, my own family, and an old friendly family we know when they have the time along with a few of the applicants here," Obito listed, shocking the bird boy,
"Dude, are you sure you want to be a hero? Maybe you should become a teacher after all of this!"
"Hmph, hmph, no, police work is my goal for my path of being a hero."
Takami flinched imperceptibly before grinning nervously. "That so? What kind?"
"Investigation," Obito said and didn't react to the boy's slight sagging. 'Another situation I'm in?' Hopefully, this one was benign or not as complicated.
"You understand?!" Came the proctor from the front of the students. "Your goal for this test is to destroy as many of the robots in the area! The visuals are as such!"
The three looked up and hummed at the pictures of 1-, 2-, and 3-pointer robots before one big robot's picture was on the screen.
"0-Pointer?" One of the other students spoke up. "I don't understand, wouldn't that thing be, like, a million points?"
"No! Even in the path of heroism, there are going to be threats that you can't fight, not alone, and not without the right powers to handle them. That is what this robot represents, there is no point in having a fight you can't win and is worth nothing. Learning to leave something very much be is important for people, not just heroes," the proctor said and Takami nodded.
"That makes sense," he said. "You can't save everyone and you can't just fight nonsensically, it's more dangerous to you and those you have saved."
Fuyumi frowned. "..."
Obito observed her with a hum and crossed arms. "You're not wrong, again, but that limit… it's not as objective as you believe, Takami-kun," the former Uchiha said as the bird boy shot him a cheeky grin. "Hmph, when you've given up, then you can do NOTHING. You're right, you have to keep those you've saved safe but, once they are, are you just going to stop?"
"Hmm… That's some contradictory advice compared to earlier," Takami said. "To keep going, to make sure they're alright, to go back in and leave them be. All of that is contradictory. Do you want to help them or save as many as you can?"
"Why's that mutually exclusive?" Fuyumi asked and Takami frowned.
"It's not but it's also not always doable."
"It's not supposed to be," Obito said to both. "You can't save everyone… so save everyone you can, that's it. It's as simple as that."
Takami blinked at him for a moment as Fuyumi grinned.
"There's no rule saying you have to stop trying, that's how my little brother sees it," she said with a sad smile. "It's dangerous thinking but it's also because of that kind of thing that we have great heroes. They keep trying."
"... You two are some kind of crazy," the boy said before laughing a bit. "But you're not wrong."
They were right, in a way, because Takami also didn't want to leave someone to their own, most likely pained, devices.
He just thought more logic was necessary to temper their beliefs… And he learned that these two got it.
"Keigo Takami, at your service," the bird boy said as the other two chuckled.
"Obito Midoriya."
"Fuyumi Todoroki."
"All of you ready?!" Came the instructor's voice, causing the three to focus. "On the count of three!"
A clock-
"THREE!"
Obito, Takami, and Fuyumi shot out into the replica city as the other students faffed about. "What are you all waiting for?! There's no such thing as a timer in real combat!"
Takami was impressed. "You knew?" He asked with a grin as they came upon the first five robots.
Four feathers shot out, nailing two of the robots in their 'eyes' before tearing down across their heads.
Fire and ice melted, and barraged, the last three as they kept moving.
"No, fighting but I was prepared for surprises!" Obito said as he jumped up before kicking a robot in its screen.
He flipped up and over before slicing his foot through its 'neck'.
Fuyumi smiled at that before hopping back unsteadily as a robot's fist came crashing down where she'd just stood.
"Eep!" She ran for a bit before ducking under a swing.
Ice spread out from her feet before shooting up to slam spires into the two robots' heads.
Keigo grinned before his form blurred past two 2-Pointers, feathers shooting off his wings to shoot out at another set around a street corner.
Then large fireballs rained down onto a series of robots around a building, Obito's form floating in the air from a white flaming cloud as Fuyumi stood on an ice pillar, ice spread out around her and encasing several robots.

"Damn, they're good!" Nemuri said with a whistle as she and many others of UA, alumni, older students, and the principal watched the current tests. "Like, is that really Fuyu-chan?!"
"You know them?" Came the principal's question as he chuckled, tail wagging behind him.
"Yup!"
"Fascinating," came the call of the principal of UA, a rat-bear-dog-ferret person who was three inches short of 3 feet in height. "They move like they've done this for years…" He said as he rubbed a paw over his scarred right eye.
Wearing a pair of light brown timberland boots, black slacks, a white dress shirt, a black vest, and a red tie. His long tail curled up in thought as he cupped his chin.
"Obito over there, the kid with the fire-breathing quirk, he's like a trainer for Fuyumi and two other girls in the exams with one girl actually being a second year this coming month at UA."
"That's an impressive resume," came the voice of a man with an excavator shovel on his head, his iron-tipped finger gloves coming around to his helmet.
"He also made their clothes."
"So, he didn't want to be a Support Course student?"
"Hehe, sorry, Power Loader, he's a hero through and through," Nemuri grinned as the man grumbled. "Hey, you never know, maybe he'll wanna work with you on his hero costume one day."
"... Maybe."
"What do you think of all this, Vlad King?" The principal asked a man who cupped his chin behind him.
He had short pale gray hair which is spiked upwards, away from his face, the only exception to this being the small clump of hair that hung down over the left of his forehead. His eyes were very small and thin, and he had a wide mouth with two prominent lower canines, which appear even when his mouth is closed.
The man was built and well-proportioned, his muscles showing in his red bodysuit and white boots with gloves.
"They're impressive," he said. "While Todoroki doesn't seem fully capable of lowering her damage output, she's still amazing while the boys are doing just that, keeping their moves small and precise."
An eruption of red flames tore down a street on screen before turning white. Turning into a large serpent, Obito Midoriya rode atop it before jumping off as it tore through a series of robots.
"Very precise," the man said, impressed. "What is his quirk's capability again, principal Nezu?"
"He called it Flame Breathing Control, a rather apt name. Obito-kun's ability with it, at current, is that he can just slightly telekinetic flames, the red kind, and then powerful, fully-controlled, white ones that he shapes to his will but they die out soon. He's shown impressive control, creativity, and power with his quirk that was a mutation from his parents."
"Oh, right, there is another part to it, by the way," Nemuri said, confusing the group. "So, as it turns out, his eyes also transform when he's using the white flames, he calls it his Sharingan and he's capable of seeing oxygen molecules to level up his quirk, turning it white… but he's also able to see freaking cells and crap!"
Nezu perked up. "That's amazing!" The gerbil-bear-rat said in thought. "I wonder if Recovery Girl wouldn't want to work with him? That sounds like an amazing facet to his quirk."
"He can use outward oxygen molecules?" Vlad King asked curiously.
"From what I've learned about him, he's pulling them in on his quirk, fueling it with more oxygen that increases his literal fire power. I'm totally sure he could pull off a ton of stuff in his future," Midnight said with a grin as Vlad smirked.
"And he's in my class."
"Step off it, Vladie, I don't want to hear about your BS luck!"
"Heheheh."
Nezu chuckled.

With things already half done, the three kept moving into the city.
Fuyumi let out a breath, frost leaving her mouth.
'I'm reaching my limit,' which was fair.
She'd gone way beyond what she'd done on that roof two weeks ago, she was stronger, more capable, and able to go farther.
She smiled as she came to a stop atop a building before calculating what points she remembered.
"So there's that, the three 2-Pointers and that one…" She considered before twin clacks of shoes on tiles reached her ears. "Hey, guys."
"Thinking about your points?" Keigo asked as she nodded, Obito crouching on the edge of the roof. "This entire thing is supposed to take… 15 minutes, I believe. I think I got over four of these robots, totally not sure how many of them were what specifically."
"60 points," Obito said and Keigo blinked before his eyes widened at the other boy's red eyes. "I memorized your robots from what I could see, I saw 32 of your targets and you have sixty points."
"Well, damn. What about Fuyumi?" Fuyumi perked up.
"Give or take 51. She had the most 1-Pointers," Obito explained. "I have 65 points. I only took down 11 1-Pointers and focused solely on 2-Pointers."
"Damn! Don't do that to me!" The boy said before remembering his words with a sheepish chuckle. "Oh, right, I probably have the highest score out of the three of us. Well, damn, we're doing good, I guess."
"It seems so," Fuyumi said with a smile and dual fistpumps. "I-I just need to relax for a bit, my quirk's backlash is kicking in," she said as she let out a breath of slight mist.
Obito blew out several balls of red flames before they burned white and surrounded the ice-user, getting a shiver out of her before she sighed in relief.
"Thank you."
"No issue," Obito said as his eyes narrowed at a bunch of students running from robots. "... I wonder," he said out loud, gaining his fellow high-pointers' attention.
Then he let out a long, sharp, whistle, red flames shooting out from their position to slam into the head of one of the far-away robots but it did nothing more than knock it off balance for a bit.
Keigo whistled. "Whoa, now, you got sniper abilities?" He asked in wonder. 'He's kind of like her,' what a crazy thing to learn.
"This is the first time I've tried to do this from so far away, I don't think this will work but it's good to know my flames distance limit," Obito said before the three of them looked up as the building, and surrounding area rumbled. "I'm guessing that's the 0-Pointer."
It was like a bigger version of the other robots by 50 magnitudes with large tank legs, thick green armor, and a red screen.
"So, like, man that thing is big," Keigo said as Obito nodded… before blinking as a familiar girl sprung into view.
Well, 'sprung', as in, grew to the height of the damn thing minus a story or two.
"Yu?!" Both Obito and Fuyumi shouted in shock.
"What happened?! Why is she fighting the 0-Pointer?!" Fuyumi asked and Obito's eyes narrowed as he got up.
"Time to find out," he said before looking at Keigo. "You can continue on-"
"Nah, man, I'm a hero, after all," the bird boy said with a grin and flex of his wings. "I'm here to help."
"Thank you, Takami-kun," Fuyumi said with a smile and he grinned back.
"No problem. So, we takin' the wing express?"
Yu grunted as she gripped the large machine's four-pronged fists, feet crushing the street she was in.
"Ugh! How are we looking, Kao-chan?!" Yu asked Kaoruko who was hushing two students away inside of two big bubbles.
"We're almost clear but we still need to lose that thing!" The Awata shouted and Yu grimaced before they both blinked at a shout.
"GET OUT THE WAY!" Two familiar voices came from the distance.
Yu's eyes widened before she pushed off and back, shrinking in size so as to fall before being caught by a series of feathers?
Then the large robot rocked to the side as a fireball the size of its head slammed into said part of its body before ice shot up its tank legs, causing it to skirt and slam into the side of a building.
"We're here!" Fuyumi shouted as she, Obito, and Keigo came down from a large flaming cloud. "Is everyone alright?!" She asked as they landed by the giantess and bubble-user, Yu being deposited gently on the floor by the second boy's feathers before they returned.
"Thanks for the saves!" Kaoruko said with a grin of relief before noticing their newest addition. "Who's this? Thanks, by the way," she asked before grinning some more, the boy shooting her a smirk even as his face grew rosy. "?"
"Name's Takami, how's it hangin'?" He asked with a warm face. 'I didn't exert myself that much, did I?' How odd.
"So, you're the guy who went on ahead with our buds?" Yu asked as Keigo rubbed the back of his head with a nod. "Talk about good timing!"
"Thanks, so, what do we do about this?" Keigo asked as the five of them faced the looming robot as it removed itself from the building it'd collided with. "Once again, it's not a part of the test."
"Then we shoul-" Fuyumi began to say before Obito ran at the large machine. "Eh?! O-Obito-kun?!"
"I want to fight it!" He said with a big grin that got a gawk out of the group. "You guys can head back to the starting point!"
"What the hell got into him?!" Yu asked in disbelief. "And can it do it more often?! We don't see him grin like that!" She said with pink cheeks.
"Hehehe~ I guess Obito-senpai really is hotblooded, huh?" Kaoruko asked slyly as Yu coughed. "... I don't see myself ever fighting villains like that," she said to Fuyumi and Keigo. "I'll take these two back, I can already what you two are thinking," she said with a smirk as Keigo chuckled.
Huh, was his face warm again? He'd need to look into that.
"Alright, I'm going," Keigo said as he flapped once before shooting off into the air.
"Are you coming, Yu?" Fuyumi asked and the giantess rubbed the back of her head…
"Yes, let's hit it hard!" She said as she grew to her biggest height of a 7-story building. "Let's do this, Fu-chan!"
"Yes!" Fuyumi said as she got into her friend's hand. "Take it easy, Kao-chan! We'll do our best to not let it get close!"
"Hehe~ Don't worry about me!" Kaoruko said before running off with her bubbles of students at her sides.

"Oh? He's got some hot blood in him," Vlad King said with a smirk. "I'm guessing he believes he has enough points and just wants to test himself. Speaking of, what's the tally?"
"Well, considering their rescue point additions," Power Loader began, holding a tablet. "Keigo-kun has 85 points, Obito-kun has 75, and Fuyumi-kun has 65. They're the highest in the Exam."
"Impressive!" Midnight said with a grin. "They've got all the points they need. Hehe! Now, let's see how they beat this guy!"
One of the alumni's eyes shined as she grinned, rabbit ears locking onto the screens that all switched over to the fight to be had.
'These are the types of guys I can see myself on a team with if I wanted to!'

He hopped onto a lamppost before spitting out a flame cloud to ride on.
Obito moved around the robot as its arm swung out, missing him but the wind pressure was impressive enough to de-stabilize his cloud.
He jumped off and landed on the arm before running down it as Keigo flew above.
Its other arm swung at him and the Midoriya flipped up and over it before jumping higher.
He clapped his hands together as he spun out of control for a moment before righting him with the Tiger hand seal held up.
Throwing his head forward, a ball of flames shot out, a similar size from earlier.
It crashed into the mechanical being's screen as he was picked up by several feathers.
"Thanks!" He said to Keigo who grinned.
"No problem! We've got reinforcements!" He shouted as Obito saw the familiar forms of Yu and Fuyumi.
The Todoroki's hands raised as they came in close before she jumped at the machine and shot out ice from her palms at the same time.
Freezing its chassis, Fuyumi stumbled as she made an ice pillar shoot towards the ground, tipping the large being for Yu to body slam to the ground before she caught Fuyumi.
"Nice teamwork!"
"Stomp it out!" Obito commanded from the sky, another flaming cloud flying him around. "Hosenka!" He spat out several fireballs all at once as Keigo floated above the giant machine, wings dissipating into feathers that came crashing down on the robot's neck.
"Fuyumi-chan!" Yu called as the girl jumped down to the floor.
The giantess raised her foot before slamming it down on the robot's chest, Obito's flames assaulting its legs.
Fuyumi cushioned herself with a burst of ice to the floor before slamming her hands down, ice spreading around one of the robot's arms as Keigo's feathers sliced into the 0-Pointer's screen like a clump of daggers.

"That's effective!" Nezu said with a chuckle. "I mean, hit 'em 'til they can't get back up is a valid strategy."
"It's amazing," Nemuri said with a grin while Vlad chuckled. "They're certainly not hurting on scores so they can have some fun."
Then a little ding went off and told them what they needed to know.
"And it's dead," Nezu noted before another alarm rang. "And within the time limit! I'm impressed!"
"Not wrong, while they didn't have much teamwork, they're capable of working with one another just fine," Vlad said. "I'm liking the look of my class roster," he said with a smirk as Nemuri longed her tongue out at him. "So, what about the others?"
~NRK~
They sat outside of the UA gates, sitting at a nearby coffee shop/restaurant's outside section along with Midnight.
"So, you guys certainly made a hell of an impression," Nemuri said with a grin, nursing some hot chocolate. "Like, way to separate yourselves from the rest!"
"I just wanted to see how far I'd come," Obito said over some coffee cake, sipping on his iced hibiscus tea. "... Hmm, that big thing, I had to know."
He wanted to regain some form of his 'S-rank' status from his old life, hilariously. Call it some pride, he guessed. Looking at that thing as a bijuu had been fun to do.
"I figured he'd need help," Keigo said as Fuyumi and Yu nodded and grinned, respectively. "That said, we kicked ass today," he added with a chuckle before his phone dinged. 'So, it's time, huh?' He thought with a bit of sadness.
It'd been nice interacting with others his age, for once.
"I've gotta go," he said and the group shot him nods.
"Take it easy, birdie," Yu said as Yoha rolled her eyes.
"Be safe," she said.
"Yeah, we could totally become a team, Keigo-kun!" Kaoruko said with a big grin that he chuckled at.
Face hot again, was it her quirk? No, wait, he'd seen her quirk.
What the hell was going on?
"Take it easy, kid," Nemuri said with a sly smirk at his slightly red face. 'Oh? Me thinks someone has a little crush.'
How grand.
"Take it easy, Keigo-kun," Fuyumi said.
"We'll see you whenever we do," Obito added and Keigo grinned.
"That's not exactly a hard to do promise," the bird boy said with a grin. "Alright, later."
He walked off, moving around a corner and leaving their line of sight.
"I guess his parents are strict," Yu said with a shrug while Obito hummed.
'Maybe. Hopefully, it's just that,' he thought as he ate some more of his cake.

"So, I'm pretty sure I aced the Exams… No praise?" Keigo asked as he sat in the back of a black car, the driver at the front snorting.
"You've gained training that can't be compared to the casual kind by the other applicants. Failing wasn't possible," the woman said.
"... Ehh, I think you're underestimating quite a few of them. The Todoroki girl and her fire-breather friend are good. Like, she's never been known to have fighter talent but she's decent and it can't have been too long since she decided, right? But then… the dude, Obito Midoriya… he's something else."
The agent at the front frowned.
"He's apparently the one who trained her."
"That seems unreasonable, why wouldn't Endeavor train his daughter?" The woman asked but Keigo shrugged. "... Obito Midoriya, among the applicants, did have a high potential score… continue."
"He trains a few people apparently, that's it. He's a training monster, I guess, he kicked through one of the 1-Pointer's necks, with his foot, that's it. He's probably a beast in combat."
"Without his quirk…" The woman hummed in thought. "We'll look into his files. Anything else?"
Keigo considered the several philosophical debates they'd been in just in the time they'd met and smiled a bit.
"He's clearly a cut above the rest in maturity and intelligence but even Fuyumi-san is a bit surprising in those regards. I don't know if she gets it from his tutelage or not but they're not to be underestimated," he said with a grin as the woman snorted.
"As long as they don't go around trying to destroy the public order, we don't really care, Takami. Now if you were suggesting them for enlisting-"
"No, not that," he said immediately and the woman shrugged as they pulled into an underground garage. 'Definitely not that,' Keigo thought with a grimace as the car came to a stop and the two of them got out.
Walking into a large garage with several other cars of similar make and color to the one he'd just left, Keigo hummed as the door to the area closed far behind them, garage lights springing to life as it did.
"Please remember, you were allowed to make this slight change," his caretaker said as they entered one of ten elevators, sliding an ID badge from her cleavage through a card reader, ignoring all the normal buttons. "The upper echelon wanted you to immediately start a company, discreetly, when you were 18. I don't need to remind you, do I?"
"You just did."
"Because this decision is a bad idea," she said with a sigh and Keigo rubbed the back of his head under her flat gaze. "You are powerful, having some freedom is important but your goal is to remain a hero who can undergo espionage whenever possible."
"But they want me in the Top 10. That doesn't make sense," he said as their elevator went down, reaching two floors before coming to a stop. "I don't understand what the president is trying to do, at this point."
She didn't comment as they walked down a long hall full of other people suited-up like her, many of whom hummed as he grinned nervously.
"Sup, hiya, afternoon, how're the kids?" He said to the random passersby who rose brows at him before shrugging. "Haa, tough crowd as always-" Keigo began to say only for a hand to land on his shoulder. "?"
"What's this I hear about you doing the UA Exams?" Came a feminine voice from behind him, getting a blink and then grin out of the bird boy. "Taka-kun."
Turning around, Keigo grinned widely and genuinely at the woman before him.
Her hair was set in a decently long pony that held her two-toned, blue and pink, tresses. Her skin was fair and her eyes purple that held a curious look within them.
Wearing a black sleeveless, skin-tight, top that had plating around her cleavage, pants of a similar color with plating around her knees and hips, and metallic boots, the young woman before him took the lightning-shaped scouter, yes scouter, off her right eye for him to see her full confusion.
"Nagant-sama," Keigo's detail bowed to the hero. "I'm surprised to see you here."
"Yo, Nagant-senpai," Keigo said and the woman raised a brow at him. "And, well, I've just thought it'd be better for me to interact with not only the future heroes of the day but also Fuyumi Todoroki as she changed her course so abruptly, the president is confused."
"That so?" Nagant said with a hand cupping her chin. "I mean, I guess I'm more surprised they'd change course for you."
"It's an odd development," the suited woman said. "For now, he's going to debrief them on his day before being released to roam."
"Thanks, Katsuya-san," Nagant rubbed the back of her head as the woman shook her head.
"It's my job, Nagant-sama."
"We'll catch up, senpai," the boy said with a big grin that the woman chuckled at. "I've gotta tell you all about it."
"I mean, that's one of the odd reasons I was brought back so oddly," Nagant said, confusing the two. "They also called me in," she said with a confused look.
"Really?" Katsuya was confused. "Why?"
"No clue, they wanted me there for a new mission, I guess."
The three shrugged before walking down the hall.
They passed many other suits before finding themselves by the conference room.
The two suits by the door nodded to them, one of them sliding their ID against the reader by the door, causing it to open.
Going inside, the three entered the well-lit room of their president.
"Welcome, you three," came the call of a suited-up old man at a lone desk in the room, the area lit up by artificial light from above. "Takami-kun, please regale us with what happened today."
Keigo shrugged with a nod.
Explaining the entirety of his Exams, from the moment he got there to the end at the cafe, Keigo didn't leave out much detail… but kept his 'philosophical debate' with Obito and Fuyumi vague under 'testing them'.
"I see…" The president said with his hands folded in front of him while Nagant and Katsuya blinked.
"That's quite the diverse toolset," the suit said with a blink. "And you believe he's more capable than that?"
"He's likely a monster in combat but he's also got that long-range bit," Keigo reminded as Nagant hummed.
"How long?" SHe asked.
"Give or take… 200 meters?" Keigo said and she whistled. "Mind you, it didn't have the power he supposedly wanted to use so that's his distance, for now," he said with a chuckle. "Fuyumi-san, meanwhile, seems capable of creating super dense ice that can't be broken out of. She trapped several of the bigger robots in it and they didn't move afterward."
"That's a rather powerful combination," Nagant said with a smile as he chuckled. "Long-range, mid-range, close-range, physical combat mastery, defensive barriers, fire, ice, they've got a lot going for them."
"They seem to be making a team with a few others," Keigo added. "There's a giantess among them, giving them a powerful building-sized member. I think they're going to be a scary team when they get around to it," he said with a nervous sweatdrop. "It's really insane the more I say about it."
"You, yourself, aren't lacking, Keigo-kun," Katsuya said and Nagant snickered. "It's just that others are more flashy."
"Thanks."
"Hmph."
"... For now, it seems that sending you was the right decision," the president said and Keigo grinned as the women balked. "Continue your tenure at UA. If nothing else… become a part of their team, don't forget to keep a track of their progress."
"S-Sir?" Nagant said unsurely. "Then why am I here?" She asked and blinked as he raised a brow at her.
"You've been working a lot, Nagant, so I've concluded… for a single year, I want you to work inside of UA's faculty," the woman froze, eyes wide.
"S-Sir?!"
"I need both of you to monitor these children. They're promising lights of hope that need to be nurtured safely," he emphasized and Keigo blinked.
"You want us… to protect them?" He asked with a rising incredulousness. "... Uh, sir? I don't have a problem with that but it's kind of… redundant?" The bird boy said with a tilt of the head and a sweatdrop.
"Hmph, they're strong and have potential but they're not ready to face heroism's worsts. If the time comes where you all must choose between death and victory, you two will take the helm."
"... Y-Yes, sir," Nagant said with some shock but a giddiness formed within her being that couldn't be extinguished! 'F-For a year, I don't have to kill?' The sheer magnitude of such a departure from her normal line of work nearly had her crying for joy but she had to control herself.
Lest he thinks otherwise about his decision.
"Good, I've spoken to principal Nezu, he's willing to see what you can teach. I suggested skills such as presence concealment, sneaking, traps, and positioning. Is that clear?"
"Yes!" Nagant's eyes shined and Keigo grinned as they saluted along with Katsuya. "I promise, sir! I'll help mold them for the future!"
"Hmm… If these kids show a good propensity for your efforts, we can see about having you go back every other year," the man considered with a hum.
Nagant nearly exploded into euphoria, like someone told her she'd had a husband, two kids, a house on a grand property, and a respectable job!
"Yes, sir!"
A chance like this?! She'd never let it go!
~NRK~
The week that passed the group of UA student to-bes was not spent worrying about their performance, no.
They had training to do!
Obito jumped from ice column to ice column, eyes looking around the forest of frost he'd been in-
He jumped up as the ice bar he'd been on began to clamp around him.
"Not bad!" He said with a smirk before he landed on another that also began to encase around him. "You'll need to speed it up!" The former Uchiha said as he backflipped off the spire.
Up in the air, he twisted to the side of a rushing ice pillar before using it to hop over another that came from down below.
Landing on another pillar, he was pushed down as it shot up high. Out of the corner of his eye, Obito saw the clamping skill beginning to come around him.
He chuckled before sending down a burst of white flames and swinging his head to the side.
The cut-off piece of his rising platform gave him the space to get out, the boy's form falling to the ice spire forest.
Ice shot up and around him from the area below, the last-ditch attempt at his capture, huh?
He breathed in before tossing himself into a spin that barely dodged a pillar which also allowed him to land on this one.
Obito hopped between spires like a rabbit, speed hard to keep track of.
Down below, hiding in an ice mound that wasn't dissimilar from those around her, Fuyumi let out a frosty breath as she brought her hands together, grasping one another.
The 'Sealing Technique', as Obito called it, had failed and she sighed as quietly as she could.
'Using this part of my quirk makes it easier to deal with my limits,' she noted. 'But I'm still getting colder. So, it's not a perfect fix.'
She'd likely just have to get used to using it more, she'd only been using it, combatively, for a month, this wasn't so bad for that.
"You did well," she shrieked as Obito looked into the hole of her mound, looking very amused. "Apologies but you also shouldn't be so lost in thought that I can sneak up on you like this."
Fuyumi pouted a bit before dropping her hands with a huff.
"Bring it down, Enji-san!" Came Hisashi's voice from the other side of the 'forest'.
Then the two watched as flames tore apart the ice that she'd made, though the girl noted with some pride that her ice melted, yes, but it wasn't as easy as one might expect and the force from the flames also broke it with just as much difficulty.
Obito nodded before spewing flames of his own, doubling the sweeping fire that caused her effort to fade away into steam.
"Come on," Obito said with a chuckle.
The entire group was in their usual workout attire save for the potential UA students who wore what Obito had made for them.
"You almost had him, Fuyu-chan!" Kaoruko announced as Fuyumi smiled.
"Almost."
"It's not so bad, Obito's athletic, he's likely one of the more capable people who could dodge your ice," Rei said with a smile. "Though, only your father would really know."
"Hmph, it was a good strategy, you can't always expect your opponent to be capable of such maneuverability," the Number 2 said with a nod. "It's still the best plan you had, you simply need to speed up your ice."
"I-It's harder the farther away I am," Fuyumi noted and the man cupped his chin in thought.
"That makes sense, having such far away capabilities will come with a downside," Enji noted as Natsuo raised his hand.
"Why not keep moving, sis?" He asked and Fuyumi hummed.
"It's the right idea b-but not that easy. Obito wants me to be able to move silently… but that's not… easy."
"Ya gotta get good shoes!" Katsuki said as Izuku nodded, writing down in a little notebook.
"Can you make your ice thicker, Fuyumi-nee-san?" He asked and the girl tilted her head.
"Thicker?"
"I believe he means dense enough so you don't make as much sound," Yoha said. "I'm not sure how well that'd work, though. Katsuki-kun is right, you need different shoes, most likely."
"Haha! I knew it!"
"Easy there, slugger, don't let that ego grow too big," Hisashi said with a smirk as the boy grinned viciously. "I know Mitsu is your mom but this fire has to come from your dad, somewhere."
"Huh? How?! That old man wouldn't know fire if it bit him!" Yu began to snicker.
"Hm, hm, hm, some people had hidden sides to 'em, Lil Katsu," the giantess said as she put down some dumbbells. "Now, it's my turn!" She said with a grin.
Then, right before she could move up, the group of teens got emails.
"... Oh, shit, i-is this it?!" Yu realized with awe and horror in equal measure, as the four opened their phones. "Y-Yahoo Mail and…"
Kaoruko swallowed as she opened the email with 'UA' in its subject line.
Fuyumi's hands trembled but she opened her email.
Obito hummed as he did and nodded.
"WE'RE IN!" The four shouted in triumph!
"YES!" Yu jumped for joy while Yoha laughed a bit.
"Congratulations!" The snake girl said with a chuckle and a clap that was followed by those not getting into UA.
"I'm so happy, my baby!" Inko cried tears of joy as Katsuki and Izuku hopped with vigor.
"Nice, nii-san!"
"You did it, Fuyumi-nee!" Natsuo said with a shaky grin. "Y-You made it in!"
"Hmph, I'm not surprised in the least," Enji said with a hum as Rei smiled. "She's trained hard this past month, applying herself, and has the right quirk for the job. This was the only result such effort could give."
"T-Thanks, dad!" Fuyumi blushed at that while Kaoruko chuckled.
"This is gonna make dad pop," the bubble girl said with a chuckle as Hisashi smirked. "Hehehe~ We made it!" Kaoruko giggled like an idiot. "Hell, yes!"
"This calls for celebration, doesn't it?" Inko said with a smile.
"Then let's go to a buffet!" Yu said with shining eyes! "Yes, all-you-can-eat sounds great right now!"
"I'm down!" Kaoruko said with a fist pump.
"We should give Obito some downtime once in a while," Yoha said with a chuckle as Shouto pouted. "It's not like he won't ever cook again, Shou-kun."
"Well… Mmm," the boy grunted. "I guess…" Shouto grumbled before his mother pat his head.
"You'll eat his cooking again, I'm sure. Now, we should go and clean up," Rei said with a smile.
The group moved with energy, Obito and Fuyumi walking at the back.
"T-This is the next step in our lives," Fuyumi whispered in disbelief, eyes wide as if she'd just looked at her email. "I… I don't know what to say," she said as the group chatted excitedly about where they were to go. "This… I don't think I've ever felt something like this before, Obito-kun."
"You worked hard," Obito said with honesty and a proud smile that got a blush out of the white-haired girl. "You learned, suffered, pushed, and studied for this day. You earned this, Fuyumi."
She burned bright red, looking down as they walked. "... I'm going to make you proud," she said softly with a determined stare at her father's back. "I'm going to fix things, make things right. Use everything you've taught me and push beyond my limits to become a hero that can shake up my family's status quo."
"And you will, I know you will," Obito said with a smirk and she smiled brightly, the former war monster staring at her. 'I-It's almost the same-'
"Come on, Obito-kun, we should speed up," Fuyumi said with a giggle.
An overlaid image of a certain brown-haired girl slammed into his mind and Obito sputtered a bit.
"R-Right, right," he grunted and shook away the impossible image. 'They're not the same… She just smiles, a bit, like Rin… Dammit.'
Fuyumi noted the boy's closed-eyed blush, his odd frustration charming to her.
Obito wasn't prepared for it but he still caught her, the girl's hug something he sighed at before reciprocating.
"You're welcome."

That's a wrap!
Of all things, deciding whether to add in Hawks was always on the table. The thing is, I don't think he went to UA outright but he and Nagant supposedly became notable heroes outright and I'm confused on if they did or not.
The idea in this fic is that they didn't but Fuyumi's big change in occupation was an odd enough change in the 'Big picture' that a young Keigo, who not as set in his role, would use it as leverage to go through normal schooling which he's never had.
Add on his meeting with Obito and Fuyumi and his 'reaction' to Kaoruko and he's learning, experiencing, and dazzled by so many new things and it's only been one day. He's all about this little venture.
Then we meet Lady Nagant! There's a short story idea I have for her x Obito. It'd basically end with the HPSC President replaced by Obito and that's where it'd end with a small epilogue.
And she gets a break that will change a lot of things, especially if she does well but does she honestly know what she's getting into? We'll see.
Otherwise, Keigo clearly has a crush on girls with awesome grins and doesn't know it… with Obito being a smile-aficionado.
They're in for rough teenagedom.
Ciao.
