He adjusted his uniform as Izuku and Hisashi grinned at him in their living room.

It was a pair of black pants, a white dress shirt, and a red tie covered by a gray blazer with dark blue accents on the pockets.

With his footwear being allowed to be whatever he wanted it to be, Obito put on some dark brown boots.

As much as he wanted his ninja sandals, his clothes wouldn't look that good with them on. A little vain but he wasn't unable to fight in these.

"You're looking so amazing, babbyyyyy!" Inko squealed as she took picture after picture with her phone. "Please, stay safe!" She cried tears of joy that he chuckled at.

"You're going to UA, officially, nii-chan!" Izuku grinned widely, his eyes shining in the morning sun as the two's father chuckled and pat his head. "It's gonna be awesome!"

"Just make sure to not get too injured, I know I can't take that without trying to track down the bastard who did it," Hisashi said with a grin. "And then your mother would start crying and then I'd have to bring in some vanilla candles and then you might end up with another brother."

"H-Hisa-kun?!" Inko was mortified, face bright red, as Obito's eyebrows shot into his hairline.

"I take it's happened before."

"Obibaby?!" Inko burned like a candle. "I-Inappropriate!"

Obito snorted before walking off.

"Not dealing with that," he said as he walked through the front door. "Good luck, father."

"Hisashi!"

"I know, Inky, my honey, the fire in life."

"Dad, you're talking weird again."

"I know, Izu-Izu, I know."

~NRK~

His walk to the school came with more fanfare than he expected.

"Looks like someone's gonna be a hero!"

"I thought you weren't going to, boya. I can get you some candy."

"Heheh~ I knew it!"

More of such things were said to him as he passed them by, the young man nodding to, and waving off, those people.

'I'm starting to get concerned,' Obito wondered how many people saw him doing this. 'The hell?' His eyebrow twitched as he made it to the school gates… from a hundred meters away.

Which seemed to be the safe distance as he saw the numerous news reporters waiting by the gates in preparation.

Then a familiar car pulled up at his side and Obito chuckled a bit as Fuyumi stepped out.

She took one look at the oncoming press and swallowed.

"Don't let them intimidate you," Enji said from within the car, in his hero suit. "The press is like a jaywalker that can only talk, so all you do is ignore them and move on with your life."

"Got it, dad," Fuyumi said with several breaths before growing determined. "I-I've got this!"

Enji nodded before looking at Obito. "You'll find that a broken pinkie isn't as controversial as they think."

He took off after that, leaving Obito with a question he only understood when he looked back at the crowd.

"... I see, your father's experienced in this as well," Obito said as Fuyumi giggled nervously.

"I'm worried I'll end up using his advice, here," she said before stepping closer to him. "L-Lead the way."

He snorted before doing as asked, not addressing her fingers grasping the bottom of his sleeve's elbow.

When the two of them got close, the eyes of numerous reporters turned their way, causing Fuyumi to duck behind him as they kept walking.

The flashes of cameras got a blink out of the former Uchiha whose eyes narrowed.

Icy force shot out across the civilians' bodies and they froze as he came closer.

Then he walked past with nary a glance, Fuyumi Todoroki holding onto him with a look of confusion.

"?"

"Don't worry about it," Obito said as they moved past the gates. "It's nothing to worry about, they'll be able to move just fine-"

The flashes at the two's backs got a groan, and roll of the eyes, from him as Fuyumi giggled nervously.

"They've recovered," she noted obviously and he grunted.

"So, I've noticed."

~NRK~

He raised a brow at the sight of the two.

"They're rather chummy," Ojiko said with a chuckle as they watched the news. "But the way they froze, ironically, makes me think the boy might have scared them," he spoke with interest as the doctor hummed in thought. "He's either that terrifying or can make himself that terrifying even though Fuyumi Todoroki doesn't seem to feel it at all… Hold on," the man shifted his glasses. "Why, I know that boy!"

"Ya do?"

"Yes, Dabi-kun, I do. His brother is quirkless," the now-named Dabi blinked. "Oh, he was devastated, that one, but the older boy reassured him that he'd train him."

"Hmph," Dabi grunted but, even then, his eyes gleamed with a form of understanding that only he had a handle on. "Well, Fuyumi Todoroki's got a form of rapport in him."

"So, it seems," Ujiko tapped on his keyboard, several keys brought together in his findings. "Hmm… Oh, I see," he said, gaining Dabi's attention. "As it turns out, she and the boy have known each other since middle school, possibly," he showed him the screen showing their years in the same classes.

"That so…" They were together for so long? "Hmph, well, I'll be keeping an eye on 'em. Any one of Endeavor's kids needs my attention."

"Like when you killed that villain?"

"That was personal, no one gets in on my targets."

"If you say so."

~NRK~

"W-We're really here…" Fuyumi uttered in awe as they looked at the halls of UA. "We're in UA!"

"Buds!" Came a voice from their side before both were scooped up by a familiar giantess. "You're here! We're here!" Yu Takeyama cheered as she brought them in for a big hug.

"W-We are!"

"Unhand me, Yu!"

The girl grinned as she let them down before shrink back to her normal height, right around Fuyumi's. "Awwww, I missed you, too!" She said dramatically before laughter from behind had them turning to see Kaoruko walking up to them, in female uniform like Yu. "Come on, Kao-chan!"

"I'm coming!" Kaoruko said as she jogged over before grinning. "Nice ta see ya in these halls!" She said with excitement. "We're in UA! This is already so cool!"

"The Super Team is back together!" Yu declared before chuckling nervously. "Even though we're in different classes."

"It's fine, I think we can find out more on how this works," Fuyumi said with a smile as Obito crossed his arms with a hum. "Ideas?"

"Well, we've got homeroom in 15 minutes, why not see where the principal's office is and ask Principal Nezu?" Obito suggested and their energetic counterparts nodded rapidly.

"Let's hurry up!"

"Well, well, well, I see you all have energy this morning," came the lazy call of Keigo Takami, the bird boy grinning similarly to his call as he came over.

Now bereft of his glasses, the marks on his cheeks were more apparent, and a small fringe flopped down onto his forehead.

His uniform was in slight disarray, the winged one having no blazer and his shirt untucked. On his feet were a pair of brown sneakers that had golden streaks in them.

"What happened to your jacket, birdie-bro?" Yu asked as Obito raised a brow, Keigo rubbing the back of his head before flexing his wings.

"It doesn't really work well with my quirk," he said with a chuckle. "Besides, we don't have to wear it if we don't want to, remember?"

"Yeah but it's supposed to be our tenure! We've gotta start strong!" Kaoruko said with a determined grin.

Keigo smirked. 'I've got some experience with you, this time, Kaoruko-san,' he'd not be caught unawares! "So, you guys were going to go and find the principal, right?"

"Yeppers! Come on, we can rush and still make it back to our classes!"

"I know where we can go, this way," the boy said and he walked ahead, leaving the way.

A little maneuvering had the five in front of Nezu's office, Keigo's guidance being superb.

And, right as they made it, a woman appeared by his doors as well.

"Keigo-kun?" Lady Nagant asked curiously as she adjusted her cuffs.

Wearing a white, pink-pinstriped, dress shirt with short sleeves, Nagant smiled as she wore her black slacks, black boots, and two bangles on her wrists.

Her hair had even been done up in a low ponytail, allowing her ears to show with the simple pearl earrings within.

"Who's this, Keigo-kun?" Fuyumi asked and Nagant smiled, bowing to the group.

"Nice to meet you, I guess this will be weird but I'm going to be teaching at UA this year," Nagant said, surprising the group sans Keigo. "Yup! I'm going to be holding a specialized course for students who want to learn how to be stealthy," she'd cinch this job and have her repeated vacations!

She wouldn't let this chance slip away!

"... Wait, I know you," Obito said and she blushed, rubbing the back of her head. "You're Lady Nagant, the sniper heroine, right?" He asked with some interest as Keigo smirked.

"Yep, got it in one," he said with a chuckle before scratching his cheek. "She's also my guardian."

"Really?" The group asked in unison and Nagant nearly snorted at them.

"So, you've got a hero teaching you who even Obito finds impressive?!" Kaoruko said in awe, hands on her cheeks.

"Oh? Does he have high standards?" Keigo asked with a grin as Obito crossed his arms.

"I find heroes who are the skill ceiling in their fields interesting," he admitted as Nagant blushed, pride rising. "Lady Nagant, Snipe Shot, Endeavor, Sir Nighteye, just to name a few, are some who I pay special attention to."

"Hello! And you thought I was weird for liking Endeavor?!" Keigo gaped at him while Obito snorted.

"I'll have you know, I can still be surprised, Keigo-kun. It's just not normal," he said as Fuyumi's mouth fell. "It never came up in conversation," Obito added.

"I'm glad to know I'm up to your idea of a good hero," Nagant said with a smile. "Now, why are you all here? Don't classes start in ten minutes?"

"Right! We need to ask the principal a question!" Kaoruko remembered.

"What would that be, young lady?" Came a voice from below them and the group looked down to see their principal. "If I can answer, I hope I can give a good one."

"Oh, good morning, sir!" The bubble girl recovered with ease. "And, well, we wanted to know about how teams work when we're still in school."

"Oh?" Nezu smiled. "Well, for teams, that's typically an elective you all can choose in replacement for one of your more academic courses. Of course, if you do so, you'll be required to pass that class like you would one of your normal courses to graduate and so on."

"R-Really?!" Yu looked angelic. "So, you mean we can get rid of science?"

"Yep!"

"We're so-" She began to say only for Obito to cover her mouth. "?"

"So, it doesn't matter whether we're in separate classes or not?" Obito asked.

"Ah, so you're both from either A and B, right?" Nezu asked, getting a nod from Fuyumi. "Well, the previous statement still stands, though you all might not get the chance to plan at school with your differing classes."

"Very well," Obito removed his hand and Yu grinned at his shrug. "Go right ahead."

"We're SOLD!" She declared and the others chuckled.

"A big team already from the get-go? That's bound to come with its ups and downs," Nagant said before turning to Nezu and bowing. "Good morning, sir, Nagant reporting for teaching duty."

"Oh, yes, I'd nearly forgotten," the small creature said. "You've introduced yourselves but let me do so once more. This will be your newest teacher, Lady Nagant, who's going to be handling stealth, traps, and long-range."

"Oh, what time will she be teaching?" Obito asked.

"Hmm, this is going to be a new, experimental, course…" Nezu cupped his chin as Nagant nodded nervously. "... Actually… How would you all like to basically mix two classes into one?" He asked and everyone else looked shocked.

"You mean having, Nagant-sensei doing both teambuilding and her usual lessons?" Obito asked and Nagant's embarrassment shot up to all-time highs.

'Sensei?!' Oh, she'd have to get used to that.

"No, I think we'll need to have her and one other teacher working with you all," Nezu explained. "As for who… I think I know who to choose," he chuckled. "There's been a rather kind member of our staff who I feel is in need of better use. Ectoplasm, the cloning hero."

Obito blinked. 'Cloning hero?' He'd need to look him up. "I'm fine with that. What of you all?" He asked the others.

"This sounds awesome!" Kaoruko said with a big grin. "To think we get double-training! We could be ninjas!"

Obito snorted.

"This sounds like it'll be a blast," Keigo said with a chuckle. "Ectoplasm… Oh, he's perfect for this," he realized with a laugh as Nagant chuckled. "This is gonna be a tough training session."

"Let's do this!" Yu said with a grin before chuckling nervously. "M-Ma'am, my quirk's not exactly built for being silent and deadly," she said with a hopeful gleam as Nagant rubbed the back of her head.

"We'll have to work on it if you want to be with your team," she said as she considered them. 'This works out in my favor. If I can teach such a small group, with help, I can also give them proper tutelage,' Nagant really did want to help these kids.

If it meant teaching them the potential to kill? She'd do it.

"T-Then I'm willing to as well," Fuyumi said with a small smile and Nagant really did feel for her.

While she'd seen her exams, she'd done rather well, it was pretty obvious she was thrown into the deep end even without Keigo's debriefing.

On that same train of thought… Nagant's eyes went to Obito who was reassuring his team-to-be.

'He's the oddest of them all, huh?' If Keigo was right, Obito Midoriya might very well have been an outstanding pupil for her. 'To excel in combat to the point that Keigo, trained by our best, praises you? By a boy who has only self-training to his name?' That was interesting.

She'd see in time.

~NRK~

Getting to their homeroom, just on time, the trio of Obito, Fuyumi, and Keigo quickly found their seats.

The irony being that they were right at the front and center of the class.

When everyone was seated, their teacher came forward and stood at the front of their room with a smile on his face and his hands on his hips.

"I'd like to welcome all of you to your first year at UA high school!" Vlad King said with a grin as the kids began to get rowdy. "Alright, alright, easy, easy, your energy's certainly up to my standard," he said with a chuckle and smirk. "Now, I handle both your homeroom and your heroics class. And since that's literally right after homeroom, we can relax a bit. Tell me about yourselves! What drives you?! What made you want to be a hero?!"

Many of their fellow students raised their hands with vigor and were picked on quickly enough.

As they went up, Obito's attention went to two girls who went last before the three of them were left.

"I-I'm Bocho Shinpi!" The girl bowed rapidly, shaking a bit.

Her skin was white and her eyes black, the same color as her hair which was long and left in two long braided pigtails that came down to her waist.

"My quirk doesn't really have a good name, yet, b-but I liked to call it 'Noh'!" She said with some conviction that Vlad King nodded at.

"We'll work on your confidence over time. For now, that was a pretty decent introduction," he said and she preened. "Now, next is you! The girl with the horns!" He declared and that student grinned as she stood up.

The sound of clopping reached their ears and the students looked down to see her feet were hooves.

"The name's Onemu Shinya," the girl introduced proudly and confidently, the polar opposite of the one from before.

Her skin was slightly tan and her eyes bright green. Her hair sat atop her head in a medium-length mop of bright yellow that held two, backward-curling, horns.

"My quirk is 'Real Bull'," she said with a grin as some of the students chuckled. "Not to be confused with things that give you wings."

"Nice, nice, good projection and a decent amount of pride," Vlad said with a smirk as she grinned, sitting back down. "Now, that leaves you three," he said, pointing at Obito, Fuyumi, and Keigo. "So, who's going first?"

"Very well," Obito stood up, turning to his classmates. "My name's Obito Midoriya-"

"We know! You're that guy from that recent incident!" One of the students interrupted.

"You fought villains!" Came another and Shinya perked up.

"Hold on, you did?!" She gaped. "What was it like?! Was it super scary!? Were they easy?!"

"You should have seen the videos! He handled them way too easily with his fire-breathing quirk! They had to be goons!"

Obito's eyebrow twitched as Vlad chuckled.

"I guess your reputation precedes you," Obito's flat look got a grin out of the man. "Hey now, fame is a part of the job."

"I hate that you're right," the former Uchiha said with a grunt as he sat down before Keigo stood up.

"Sup, buds and budettes, the name's Keigo Takami," Keigo said and he grinned at some of their gaping looks.

"You're the top scorer!"

"No way!"

"R-Really?" Bocho asked and Keigo chuckled in slight embarrassment.

"Yeah, I know for a fact I got the top spot," he said with a proud grin as Shinya smirked.

"So, you're the top three who beat me?" She asked and the three blinked.

"You were in fourth?" Fuyumi asked before blinking as the girl pointed at her face. "H-Huh?"

"I'm gonna make sure you know, princess," Shinya said with a frown. "We all worked so hard to get here, I don't want your half-assed 'I just wanted to' attitude to get in our way!"

Obito's eyes narrowed and he made to speak but Keigo shook his head with a smile.

Then Fuyumi frowned before standing up. "I'm Fuyumi Todoroki and… I'm going to be one of the best heroes in this class," she said in defiance as Shinya flinched back in shock. "A-Anyone who has a problem with that, h-has to beat me!" She declared to them and the class gaped at her.

Obito blinked while Keigo snickered and Vlad smirked.

"A proud, powerful, declaration," he said as Fuyumi blushed before quickly sitting back down. "You all are the heroes of today and tomorrow. You are the beginning, middle, and last line to protect the populace. A bit of competition is fine but don't forget why we're all here!"

"Yes, sir!"

"Good! Now, we're going to be doing some exercises today," he said as the students looked intrigued. "We're going to see your limits, alright? Go and get changed into your gym uniforms and meet me down in the field outside."

~NRK~

Obito rolled his neck as he took in their UA gym uniform.

The thing was unisex, thus being the same for both genders with custom points for their body types.

It was a pair of dark blue pants with white lines down the back and front with a dark blue short-sleeved top that you could zip up from the front, the front and back of the top bearing the 'UA' letters. Their footwear, though, was whatever they had worn with their school uniforms, so he had on his boots as Fuyumi tapped on her shoes.

"I-I didn't think we'd be working out in these," she whined softly and he hummed.

"You'll know ahead of time. Just buy some after school," he said.

"... help me buy some, please."

"Very well."

Keigo looked back and forth between the two in total confusion.

'Is this what I think it is or am I just thinking too much?' He didn't know.

He'd see how this went about.

"Good! You're all here," Vlad King said with a smile as he saw his students. "Now, for the first test, we'll be doing the ball throw," he said as the students saw the softball-sized machine by his feet. "This ball is built to last and can record the distance of your throws. You're allowed free-range with your quirk with these exercises! Make 'em count! You're up, Midoriya!"

Obito found the ball in his hands and shrugged before walking forward.

Breathing in, he spat out several thick red flames that glowed white before spreading out to his hands and feet.

"Sir, so I can hit it with my feet, too, right?" Obito asked and Vlad cupped his chin.

"Hmmm… Go for it."

"Gotcha," Obito said before throwing the ball up and down in his hands.

It was like a gunshot rang out as the ball was thrown into the air one more time before the boy's body twisted with his leg snapping out.

"ENHOKO!"

The machinery exploded away in rings of white flames, Obito stepping back as he watched it vanish into the atmosphere.

"Damn good work, boy," Vlad laughed as he looked at the machine before writing it down. "670 meters, a damn good start. Todoroki, you're next!" He announced and Fuyumi froze, sweat shooting down her face.

Obito already expected this and walked over before resting a hand on her shoulder.

"It's just a limit check, you can't fail this in any meaningful way unless you can't throw the ball where you can even kick it," he explained to her and she swallowed before nodding, rigidly walking forward to her smiling teacher. "I'm honestly worried about her, I really am."

"I can tell," Keigo said with a snort. "Fuyumi-san seems to be… on edge."

"Shinya wasn't necessarily wrong in how abrupt this is. All I can do is bring her up to par."

"Spoken like a true teacher."

Fuyumi breathed in and out several times as her teacher recalled the ball from its destination with a remote.

"It's as your friend said, there's no way to really fail this," Vlad said with a nod as she looked at him hopefully. "Kid, you have to push your limits to become the hero you said you would."

She swallowed. 'I really opened my big mouth, didn't I?' All from a small moment of stupidity. '...'

As the ball came back into view, her eyes narrowed slightly.

'... Then I just have to do this,' she understood.

If she wanted to keep her word and push through, she had to do this!

… Still, she needed to throw this thing as far as possible and didn't have Obito's martial ability or control.

"..." Her eyes widened and she looked at her hands. "... An idea…" She had to try something.

She had ice that could rush out from her hands and feet, maybe she could do something with that?

And then a memory hit her.

"Nee-san! See!" Shouto cheered as he showed her a new move with his ice.

He swung low and around before tossing his arm into the air.

Ice shot out from his starting point before shooting up into a wave that followed the arc of his swing.

Fuyumi blinked.

"Obito-nii said that I can do stuff like this, remember? If I do stuff while using my quirk, it can do something different!" He preened.

She was impressed.

Blue eyes widened before they glowed at the idea.

"Alright, Todoroki, go for it," Vlad said before raising a brow at the girl's smile. 'Oh? Figure something out?' That was good.

Pulling from one's experiences was going to be done a lot in these kids' futures.

She held it in her hands, weighing it, before nodding.

'Remember the pillars,' she thought as she grew determined. 'Get the timing down and…!'

She threw the ball in the air above her and Vlad was curious to see if she could emulate her, odd enough, friend who was her teacher.

Then he grinned as she wound up with her arm back before she released a harsh swing.

Ice trailed along the floor before a pillar on the side of her forearm slammed into the ball.

It exploded out as Fuyumi shivered at her odd movement.

She jumped up and down, shaking away the awkwardness of her idea.

"H-How'd I do?" She asked her sensei who chuckled before showing her results.

560 meters.

"Yes!" Fuyumi cheered as she grinned. "I-I did it!"

"You did good, Todoroki. I'm guessing you came up with this little idea on the spot?" Vlad asked.

"Y-Yes, my little brother showed me how to add movement to my quirk," she said with a smile. "A-And I've made ice pillars before and they look like a battering ram, so…"

"It's the right idea," he said with a nod before turning to the others. "You're able to pull on all of your experiences to find your ways out of a situation! It's important to remember even rather mundane ways you've used your quirk to see how it can be applied."

Many nodded while Fuyumi returned to her friends' sides, looking pleased.

"I'd totally forgotten that aspect," Obito said as she giggled a bit. "I guess I focused so much on your family's quirks differences that I forget they all share aspects as well. Good job."

"Hm, hm!"

Keigo's mouth slowly spread into a grin. 'Ooh, that's how this is going to go,' well, at least he finally got it.

They probably didn't know they liked each other.

~NRK~

Come the end of their school day, the entire 'team' were in class with Lady Nagant, the entire group in their gym uniforms standing outside of one of the 'battlegrounds' of UA.

Next to her was a man… in uniform that made him look like a monster but that wasn't important.

He was all black, with his head seeming bald, and had gold accents on his chin, around his jaw, that hooked around to the back of his head.

His eyes were pure white, with no pupils, irises, or anything to be seen while he wore a long light brown trench coat that covered his entire body leaving his black peg legs to clack against the floor.

"Good afternoon," he said, polite and proper but distorted by his mouth guard which looked like a big monstrous grin. "So, you're the students who want to form a hero team?"

"Yes, pleased to meet you, sensei," Fuyumi said with a bow. 'H-He's kind of scary!' Still, can't blame him if this is his normal look.

"Nice to meet you," the man bowed back. "So, Nagant-san, rollcall."

"Right," Nagant nodded before listing off the students.

Ectoplasm hummed, remembering what he'd been told about this particular group.

'All the high-pointers… That's kind of ridiculous. Minus Onemu Shinya and Bocho Shinpi, they're the top seven,' what a group. 'Still, even among them, the toughest are clearly Keigo Takami and Obito Midoriya.'

Watching the two on video, Ectoplasm didn't feel wrong to say, they were monsters among their class.

Whether it was Takami's precise control of his feathers or Midoriya's fire breathing control, the two were clearly a cut above the rest.

So, he paid more attention to, basically, the girls of the group. The misogynistic irony wasn't exactly lost on him, maybe the universe was kind of a dick.

"Alright, for starters, let me ask you all," Nagant said. "Have any of you ever implored stealth before?"

The group, as a whole, had only three people raising their hands.

Ectoplasm was surprised. "Really?" He asked Keigo, Obito, and Fuyumi.

"Nagant-sensei has taught me how to move stealthily before," Keigo admitted as Nagant nodded.

"Keigo's been my pupil for a while," she admitted but looked intrigued at Obito and Fuyumi. "I'm surprised you two would implore stealth tactics."

"W-Well…" Fuyumi blushed. "I'm kind of lacking behind everyone s-so Obito-kun made me aware that straightforward fights aren't going to do me any good," she said, getting amused hums out of their teachers. "I've tried using it in training, with my quirk, a-and also used it against those villains a few weeks ago."

"I see, your quirk is good for making a battlefield only you can control," Ectoplasm said with a nod as she smiled. "So, Obito-kun, are you saying you implore stealth tactics?" He was curious.

Why would a boy with such a flashy quirk try to implore stealth? Not to say he couldn't, it was good to have the skill, but he expected the boy to want to show off more.

Keigo and Nagant were also curious, why would this boy know stealth tactics?

"Originally, I was going to be a police officer," Obito explained and they nodded. "With them, I'd not get to use my quirk so liberally, so I considered my other options. Stealth, make-up, faking it, impersonation, ventriloquism, shadowing, and copycatting, I've personally looked up and learned as much as I could about these skills," it wasn't wrong.

While he had his stealth skills from his previous life, he'd never learned the methods that a society like this required.

So, he went on to do so, knowing how to navigate the world at large was important.

'The hell?' Nagant was caught off-guard.

Yes, all of those were almost exactly what she and Keigo had to learn for their jobs. What the hell was this kid?

And, more importantly, how good was he at all of those things?

"Wait, you can do make-up?!" Kaoruko gaped at Obito who shrugged.

"I did my mom's on occasion while practicing on some of the teachers at school during Halloween."

"Wait, you did that?!" Yu's eyes gained a gleam of joy that could only be seen from mars. "Dude, that was the greatest prank, ever!"

"Y-You prank people?" Fuyumi gasped. "I guess even you have a silly side."

"What? No. I just needed to see how well my skills worked," Obito said as Keigo snorted. "Of course, they didn't know I did it but that's part of it."

Ectoplasm would have to look that up, it sounded hilarious.

"That's impressive. If you're not lying, you've had a good foundation in stealth far before all of this," the man smiled. "This should be interesting."

'No, wait, are we just going to ignore everything else?!' Nagant gaped.

Was it part of the school faculty to be so easygoing?!

".. I-I guess, we should move on, then," Nagant would get to the bottom of this. "Then, since you have experience, let's have an exam to see how you compare," she said, gaining her groove. "Ectoplasm-sensei has planted several of his copies throughout the area. We've closed off a big chunk for our exercise, so you'll see the perimeters if you go too far."

"This is gonna be easy!" Yu said with a grin before Ectoplasm chuckled. "Huh?"

"Not so fast," he said with another chuckle. "The goal of your class is both to identify hidden enemies and hide yourself from them. So, for most of our class, you're not going to be allowed to use your quirks," the explanation caused the blonde girl to deflate. "Your quirk is Gigantification, I know this is going to be rather unfair to you."

"I-It's fine, I guess," she said with a shaky smile and he nodded.

"But, also remember, this is going to be a teambuilding class as well," Ectoplasm said with a smile. "You'll get your time to shine."

"Hehe~" She grinned before getting pumped up. "Alright, so, we just have to find them?"

"You'll pop them," Nagant said with a smile. "You find them and pop them. It only takes one good hit. Whatever you do, don't give away your location, you find them find first since they won't be moving, and dodge your sensei," she grinned as the group blinked.

"... Oh," Keigo tapped the side of his fist into his palm. "If we pop them, Ectoplasm-sensei is going to go and find them, isn't he?"

"Exactly," the man said. "I'll know where you popped them and go there, it's a part of this, you have to evade me as I come."

"T-This seems kind of a lot," Kaoruko spoke up with a nervous giggle. "Are we supposed to pass?"

"Goodness, no," Nagant said. "We're testing where you stand. I promise, we'll be taking these kinds of lessons, piece by piece."

"Okay!" Her energy recovered. "So, we're going in all at once?"

"One by one," Nagant said before looking at Obito. "And, I want to see exactly how you do, Obito-kun," she said and he nodded, stepping forward. "Your goal is to destroy ten of Ectoplasm's copies before 15 minutes is up. Understood?"

"Understood," Obito said, wishing he'd brought his ninja sandals.

His sigh let out several flames with purple, the fire burning white before coating his feet.

"Begin whenever-" Nagant began to say, pointing towards the buildings.

But the boy vanished in a burst of white before she could finish, leaving her to stare at the burning white footprints on the ground that disappeared a few seconds after.

'W-Wait, hold on, his flames allow him to do that?!' What the hell was being fed to kids these days-

"One clone has… vanished," Ectoplasm said with some wonder as she choked. "It's utterly fascinating, there was barely a sound when he dealt this one a blow. He just reappeared for a moment before… disappearing in white flames."

Keigo whistled long and light. "Whoa, now, that's kind of ridiculous," he said, feeling it more than his face showed. 'What the hell? He wasn't this fast in the Exams,' but then again, he'd been allowed to go all out.

Why sneak, yeah?

"Fuyumi-san, since when could Obito do this?" He asked the Todoroki who blinked.

"Well, he's always been able to use his quirk on his feet. You saw what he did earlier in the Limit Test," she said and his eyes widened while Nagant blinked and Ectoplasm chuckled.

"Now, it makes sense," he said before heading off. "I'll head to the second clone's destruction," was all the man said before bounding atop a fake street lamp and leaping into the distance.

"Wait, second?!" Nagant gaped in confusion. 'If the PHSC had such a kid…' She didn't want to think about it.

This kind of skill, in someone via self-teaching, was terrifying.

He used his flames as a buffer against the surfaces he walked, slid, and ran on.

'That's three clones down,' Obito thought as he shifted in an alleyway, flames on his feet going out. 'Now, Ectoplasm-sensei should be… there,' he told himself as he saw the man passing across the way.

The man slipped into several buildings windows with ease and practice, he didn't spend more than five seconds within to check before moving onto the next dispersal, legs easing allowing him to bound from building to building.

'So, time for the next,' the former Uchiha thought before slinking into the shadows.

'He's quick!' Ectoplasm thought with some shock.

The boy's movements had to be incredible to have dispersed his clones and disappeared from the building in seconds.

He hadn't heard any yelps, hushed breaths, worried noise, or just words in general.

It was like he'd disappeared from the world before popping into existence to destroy his copies.

'Someone this skilled will easily make the top of the charts,' he thought with a chuckle. 'Ah, this reminds me of Shinji or, wait, Kamui Woods, now,' Ectoplasm considered before landing on a building's roof. 'I can't find him so easily… so.'

"Time for some back-up, boy!" He shouted to the area before his mouth widened further, actual ectoplasm spewing out in a semi-circle to create more copies. "My quirk allows me to make 30 of these! I've spread out 20 for your assignment but the more you destroy! The more I can create!" He pushed his natural limits and spewed out four more. "You all know what to do!"

The copies began to spread out only for something to blaze past his rooftop and explode above.

White flaming bullets rained down on Ectoplasm's location.

Watching from a nearby temporary monitoring centering, which consisted of a big computer right outside the battleground with chairs, the group blinked at Obito's barrage.

"Where did the flames come from?" Keigo asked Nagant as she sat in the chair in front of the computer.

She hummed before moving to the cameras in that sector but the group saw nothing.

"He's like a ninja," Kaoruko said in awe. "Obito-senpai is able to control his flames as long as oxygen exists around them. He could have sent that flame from anywhere," she said with a grin as Keigo blinked.

"Wait, I hadn't known that," he said in disbelief as Nagant whistled.

"That's scary," she said.

"Well, it only works when he's controlling it," Yu explained with a chuckle. "If it's the red kind, it obviously won't go that far."

'That explains the Exams,' Keigo considered. 'Still, his potential is through the roof!' Where had such a prodigy come from?

And how had the PHSC not heard of him before all of this?

Then he remembered the other boy had wanted to be a cop. 'He never needed to be flashy,' that explained it. 'So, now that he's to become a hero, he'll likely gain more and more attention.'

If he did, and kept showing these skills of his, the PHSC would find out… maybe.

'Obito, I hope you realize that you're in for a lot of attention if you get any better than this,' Keigo thought with concern. 'Seriously, take it easy.'

Then several white fireballs shot up from several sectors of the fake city and he sweatdropped.

'Dude, what'd I just say?'

Ectoplasm hopped between flames with a slight yelp.

"He went on the attack?!" He shouted as he jumped away from building to building. 'He's gotten the fifth one," the hero thought before spinning with his mouth open.

Copies spewed into existence before jumping in the ways of the fireballs.

The explosion blocked his vision and the hero slipped into an alleyway.

Obito was already moving. 'He's likely going to slink into places I can't see,' so he had to focus on his goal now. 'But he knows where I'll be going and will likely focus on a section of copies that are close together,' so Obito had to move to another set but he didn't know. '... Well, I guess I have to just keep doing as I have.'

White flames were blown onto his feet and he vanished in a loud crack that drew the attention of several Ectoplasm copies.

The reincarnated man's eyes narrowed as he didn't stop, Sharingan blazing bright red.

He shot past building after building, eyes trailing their scale in under two seconds to gather what was within.

'Three in these three buildings,' that was a clump. 'Another one is two buildings away,' so this was a concentrated area.

Then he came to a bit of restriction tape.

'So, I've hit the edge of the perimeter,' it had to be over 200 yards that he passed from the beginning to this point. '... They're close to the edges… Wait,' Obito looked around, eyes looking at all the buildings 50 meters away to see no clones. '... There are one every 15 meters?'

In a cube-like space of 200 meters by 200 meters… He smirked.

He burst from his spot on the street, vanishing from the sight of an Ectoplasm clone.

"Found you," Obito said behind him, shocking him. "I've noticed, all of the buildings with a copy have a window open," he elaborated as the clone blinked before chuckling.

"Smart boy."

~NRK~

"He found the sixth clone in a minute, he still has 11 more to go," Nagant said to the others as she leaned back in her seat, the screens muted as the boy spoke with the copy of Ectoplasm.

That said, she put on some headphones and rewound that particular feed.

When she heard him, her eyes widened. 'No, seriously, what is this kid?' How had he noticed?

Those windows were cracked, yes, but that shouldn't have been visible to a normal person.

'... Wait, hasn't something been said about his eyes?!' She looked and she saw bright red orbs with tomoe in them. 'It allows him that much sight?' The idea was as fascinating as it was ridiculous.

"Damn, there goes another one," Keigo said as she reset the screen's time and they saw no clone along with no Obito. "Now, it's… How'd he find another one so quickly," his wings flexed in shock as Obito sliced his foot through the copy's head before jumping out of a window. 'Isn't this too good?' The idea of Obito being this good on his own made Keigo want to cry in defeat.

This wasn't reasonable.

Then the other boy shot towards another building's direction in a barely caught moment of shifting he'd done from a building wall.

"Another, he knows where they are," Keigo announced and the group blinked before gasping as the boy found another clone. "This is getting ridiculous!"

"Well… Yes if you don't know what he said," Nagant said and Keigo blinked. "That's all, he knows something you all don't."

"What could that be?" He wondered before looking at Kaoruko as she came forward, eyes moving about the screen. "... You see something?" Keigo asked merely out of courtesy-

"I think… I do," she said and he gawked at her, getting a chuckle out of the blueberry. "Well, I don't think I should say it since this is a test, ya know?"

Whoa, now, either she was crazy or she actually saw something.

"Give me a hint, just one," he asked with a lazy smile and she giggled.

"Alright… the rooms," she said with a smile and he blinked, tilting his head at the images. "That's the hint."

Dammit, his face felt warm again but that wasn't important.

'The rooms?' As he looked at all the cameras watching the clones in their 'apartments', he blinked as he scrutinized their rooms. 'The same floor, walls, number of windows, that one shifted window-' He froze and his eyes widened as she grinned.

"Maybe, I don't know, all I know is that Obito's eyesight is leagues above most people, quirked or not."

This girl might have been a bit smarter than he gave her credit for.

And, dammit, he was hot again.

~NRK~

Things came to a head as Obito went after his last target.

'In that building,' he slunk into it and made his way around the elevator shaft. 'But I'm sure this one is going to be the hardest.'

Landing with nary a sound on a floor, he walked to one of the windows in a hall and opened it before eying the one diagonally across from him.

… Oh, so that's how it was gonna be, huh?

Ectoplasm sat in the room with his copy, waiting.

'The trail would lead him here,' he knew and he knew one other thing.

Obito Midoriya liked testing himself.

'Still, he knows once I catch him, it's over,' so he'd attack some other way.

That was when the door creaked open and the hero's eyes widened at the sight of a small white flame coming inside.

Then it beamed towards the copy's head and he kicked it away.

'Fast!' His eyes then widened as he saw several others coming into the room! 'He'll slip in during the chaos.

But the boy was forgetting one key fact.

Each kick Ectoplasm sent out, a fireball was destroyed and he let out short, fast, exhales that let out small clones that eyed the area of the room with ease.

He smirked as he kicked away the last one.

"He's good-"

Ectoplasm sighed as a red flame dragon head burst through the floor and destroyed his copy.

"... Well played. No, magnificently played," the man said as he turned and saw Obito land in the room, flames on his feet and not a sound to be found. "Damn, kid, you're good. I can see why that girl would follow your words."

"Thanks, sir," Obito said before bowing. "Thanks for the short lessons, your display made me understand an idea," he said with a smirk and crossed arms.

'This boy's gonna dominate those charts,' there was no doubt in Ectoplasm's mind.

He had a keeper and he couldn't be more proud.

~NRK~

"And it's over," Nagant said with a sigh of relief. "Let that be a lesson to you all, Obito had so many vectors of attack, he had that room in the bag."

"Well, I think I could have done something," Keigo noted. "If I listen with my feathers, I can certainly avoid such an endgame scenario."

"I-I could probably use my ice," Fuyumi said with some thought. "I can kind of feel things from it, I might have been able to place some down to feel for his moves."

"I can leave thin bubbles everywhere," Kaoruko said with a grin as Yu slumped. "If they're light enough, they'll pop and I can tell where he is. Now, reacting, on the other hand… hehe," she nervously giggled as a flaming cloud came out of the area before lowering to reveal their teammate and teacher. "Nice going, senpai!" She congratulated as Yu perked up.

"You're our ace in the hole, Obi!" She cried with crocodile tears as she ran up to him before lifting him up in a hug that he struggled in! "You've gotta do what I can't!"

"For the love of God, Yu!" He growled and she dropped him. "Put her in there next," Obito hissed and Ectoplasm chuckled before spewing out more copies. "Enjoy the exercise," he said ominously as Yu paled.

"... I-I think we're seeing more sides to Obito than I ever thought," Fuyumi said with a sweatdrop. 'Still… It's kind of refreshing…' Obito's different sides always seemed to make her smile.

Well, sure, right now she was kind of unsure of his mischievous side but she'd probably laugh at this later.

So, as she watched Yu get dragged off with Obito's twitching eyebrow her pleas response, she giggled a bit.

He was so silly sometimes.

When everyone had taken their shot at the course, the group was held together for a rundown.

"So, the best of all of you… was Obito-kun," Nagant said with some surprise as Keigo looked embarrassed. 'I guess you've got someone who's gonna keep you on your toes.'

Of course, Obito's unnatural skill was terrifyingly unfair but Keigo wasn't much different.

"Following him was Keigo-kun," she said with a chuckle as he pouted. "Following them… was Kaoruko-kun," the woman said with a smile. 'Some of these kids are scary.'

As it turned out, the girl had figured out what was going on with the windows and had gotten to six clones before being caught.

'They're all full of talent,' she might have an easier time than she thought. "Following her were Fuyumi and Yu, in that order."

Fuyumi blushed but the woman smiled.

Her ideas with her ice were fair and smart, the girl just wasn't physically built to run that much, sadly.

"You did well enough, I promise," she said and Todoroki pouted. 'Aw, they're all so cute!' Nagant chuckled. "So, for now, your jobs are to gain knowledge from this course and learn how to apply it during exercises and your tenures in the future."

"Yes, sensei."

Nagant grinned.

~NRK~

With their last class over, the group left the school grounds with stretches and small chatter.

"I've gotta get better at this," Yu said with a slump as they walked, her schoolbag held behind her back. "Obi! Teach me your ways!"

"You won't become a genius by learning how," Obito said with a chuckle. "You need practice."

"Ugh! Don't tell me that."

"Hehe, she's full of fun," Keigo said before blinking as Nagant came over. "Alright, guys, I'm gonna head out. We're still moving into our place, actually."

"Alright, take it easy, birdie-bro," Yu said with a chuckle as he ran off with their newest teacher. "I, on the other hand, have a new bag to get," she said with a big grin as Kaoruko chuckled.

"We're going to head to the mall, downtown, you guys coming?" She asked.

"No, Obito's supposed to help me with getting some new shoes for our classes," Fuyumi said with a tap of her shoes. "I think you two should do the same since we're going to have more difficult classes."

"Didn't our sensei say we'd be using our hero uniforms tomorrow?" Kaoruko asked before chuckling. "Oh, right, yours and Obito's don't have shoes."

"I've got my footwear figured out already," Obito said as the girls blinked.

"You do? Oh, right, your boots," Yu said but Obito shook his head. "Huh?"

"No, I don't wear my hero footwear because it's open-toed. That wouldn't work with the male uniform."

"... Oh!" Fuyumi remembered. "His sandals!"

"Oh, right!" Kaoruko remembered. "Oh, man, I can't wait to see your hero uniform!" She grinned brightly and Yu smirked.

"I'm liking the idea. I can't wait!"

Obito smirked.

"I know I'll feel more comfortable wearing my specialized sandals," he said.

Fuyumi smiled.

~NRK~

The two of them went to her home before situating themselves in the living room.

With their shoes off, they'd also removed their blazers, Obito doing the same for his tie as Fuyumi tied back her hair with her red hair tie.

"Now, let's look at your laptop," Obito said, undoing his dress shirt's top two buttons as she nodded, bringing up the shoes section on the UA stores and the costume company that the Endeavor Hero Agency used.

Getting them pre-made was for the best. Especially with her mistake of forgetting shoes as she racked her brain about her costume.

Her father had been… less than happy with the idea of spandex for her and Fuyumi had gone through a whole deal of pure embarrassment agreeing with him and her mother.

Of course, she'd also confided in Obito about it and he suggested something she ran by her father who made sure she remembered to mind her quirk's downsides.

And, during all of that, she'd forgotten to think about shoes! The bare minimums!

So, as they sat in her living room, Fuyumi hoped she could find the right ones.

"So, let's remember. You need something that will allow you to gain as much heat as possible," Obito said and she nodded.

"So, something that covers more of my skin, like my hero costume," she reminded, typing through the website as Obito looked at it from beside her. "Something that will also allow me to move around as often as possible."

"So, something like a hard cloth, not leather," he said and she nodded.

They combed through the web magazine with some intrigue.

"I think we found it," she said with a smile as he nodded.

They were a pair of white, knee-high, boots with black soles that were decorated by ice-like imagery on the top of them in light blue.

"I love it," she said with a giggle as he smirked, the girl turning to thank him only for her eyes to widen at how close Obito had gotten.

Actually, now that she wasn't so focused, his hand was on her shoulder and she could see the top of his c-clavicle?!

Her face went bright red and he turned to look at her with a tilt of the head, eyebrow raised.

"Fuyumi?" He spoke her name and Fuyumi blushed harder.

Why?! T-This wasn't what it was!

Obito shook his head as she seemed to panic about something… but he considered her eyes some more.

"... Have you thought about eyewear?" He asked out of the blue, his focus on her eyes causing her head to lower in embarrassment. "?"

"W-What do you think?"

"Your eyes… Correction, your glasses," Obito felt like he'd done something he shouldn't have. "Are you going to wear your glasses?"

"..." Fuyumi blinked, blushing at his 'correction'. 'Was he really looking at my eyes like that?' For some reason, she felt happy that he had. "W-Well… I don't feel like they'll come off… but I need them to see, I have near-sightedness."

"So, contacts, then?"

"That seems right. In the meantime, maybe I should look for some goggles."

"..." For some reason, Fuyumi blinked at the look of melancholy on Obito's face.

It was sad, really sad like he was a man who'd lost his favored possessions.

"I think I might want to get some, myself," he said with a chuckle, rubbing the back of his head in thought. 'Some goggles… that brings me back.'

The idea of past him's own had him humming in his memories before Fuyumi's face appeared in his vision.

She looked at him with concerned blue eyes, her head tilting as she frowned at him, leaning in close.

"Are you alright?" She asked and Obito sighed.

"It's nothing, I just remembered something from when I was a kid," he said with a chuckle that didn't reach his eyes. "They were kind of stupid. I don't remember what anime character had them but they were pretty cool to me, like a lot."

"... then you should get some!" She insisted.

"Fuyumi, all that black and red…"

"I think you're misunderstanding how a small break from your costume's colors can help. My own has light blue, white, and red, after all."

"Well…" Obito looked hesitant and Fuyumi exerted her womanly intuition.

"You want it, Obito, I know you do," she said with a smile as she looked at him. "It's even small things like this that make us happy… a-and I like it when your happy, not in a weird way!" Fuyumi squeaked, cheeks red.

Obito blinked at her before grunting, ruffling his head of hair with a small blush and one eye closed.

"Fine, fine… I would want that," he said as she grinned, looking at her laptop as he came in close again, causing her cheeks to redden once more. "Let's see."

His hand on her opposing shoulder was barely acknowledged but Fuyumi smiled blatantly.

From around the corner of the living room, Rei, Shouto, and Natsuo peeked in.

The mother of three placed a finger against her lips to her sons who covered their mouths with nods.

Hm.

The following evening, Obito was home and chatting with his mother as Hisashi got ready to leave.

"Alright," the man said as he wore his crisp black suit. "Thanks, hon, like always," he said as she came over before they hugged and kissed. "I'll be back in a week, works starting up again."

"We know," Inko said with a smile as they let go before the guy kneeled down to his boys, one hand on Obito's shoulder while he ruffled Izuku's hair.

"I-I'll see you later, Dad," the young boy said with a determined look. "And then we can train together again!"

"Of course, my boy, I love when we all do," Hisashi said, hugging him tightly before standing up. "And, Obito, I know how you are. You'll be fine, you're probably already breaking records at school."

The boy snorted before rubbing the back of his head. "Possibly," he said and his father smirked.

They hugged it out and soon Hisashi left.

~NRK~

The following morning, Obito set up breakfast for his mother and brother before leaving in his school uniform, bright and early.

The moment he closed his home's door quietly, he ran down the streets of Mustafu.

He was supposed to meet Fuyumi so they could go and grab their things before class started.

So, he rushed down the sidewalk to the bus stop.

~NRK~

They walked with some urgency before relaxing as they made it to the UA gates.

Fuyumi walked with a grin as she carried the box with her costume's new boots before she and Obito saw those reporters again.

The boy rolled his eyes, his goggles around his neck, before humming and jabbing his thumb to the wall before them.

Fuyumi blinked before looking back at the reporters who could very well see them any second.

"A-Alright but our quirks would be too-" She began saying only to have her eyes shrink as Obito lifted her up into his arms. "What?!" Fuyumi squeaked as quietly as she could but this wasn't helping!

Then Obito jumped high to one of the notches in the wall surrounding UA before using that as another small jumping point to scale it with ease.

When they landed on the other side, he nodded to her and Fuyumi blushed bright red as she was let down safely.

"T-Thanks," she said with an embarrassed smile as they walked on the grass of their school's yard. 'This… this is nice…'

They were here, at UA, living their school lives… she giggled and Obito raised a brow at her.

She then smiled beautifully for him and his eyes widened.

"I'm just enjoying our time here, together!" She said with a big grin that his eyes softened at.

He smiled with his eyes closed. "Yeah… I am, too," he said with a chuckle as she nodded.

Obito guessed that he was enjoying hero school at least a little bit.

Oh, and he also realized Fuyumi Todoroki had an amazing smile.

But he couldn't give that too much thought.

~NRK~

That's a good place to stop.

So, we've seen the first day of their tenure at UA and Fuyumi finding her footing as Obito proves he's a 'valuable' in the eyes of the PHSC if they ever got ahold of him.

Of course, he'd probably just destroy the organization from the inside out if things went wrong but they don't know that.

Next, we have Nagant and Ectoplasm training the kids in Stealthy Tactics and Team Building. I figured Ectoplasm would be the best person to have work alongside her as a mentor teacher and someone who can really make team exercises work due to his quirk.

Next, we see that Fuyumi and Obito's way of viewing the other is slowly becoming odd to them. Obito due to his reincarnation circumstance and Fuyumi due to being a teen who's never even tried romance before but likes watching it in soap operas.

That's bound to be interesting.

Next time, we'll see both teens' hero costumes alongside the training exercises from their heroics course and stealth course. And maybe we'll be seeing a new face? Never know.

Ciao.
