. . . . .

As if spurred on by the Millennium Puzzle returning to Dominio City, the real Zorc gathered a way to work around Bakura's seals while the entity was busy breaking them down. That way was to put the small parts of himself that had slipped through the gaps of Bakura's seal within Amane's body, and have her walk out of the remains of the now decrepit Kaiba Mansion. Bakura recognized the technique the moment he saw her body walking around. Of course, that was because he used the very same technique within Mokuba. He hadn't realized it at the time, back when he was younger, but now Bakura knew how he figured out how to do that: Zorc had taught him.

'He'll only put more and more of himself in Amane's body as time goes on. Our time buffer has greatly reduced.' Bakura warned them.

In complete control of Amane's body with no one to stop her, Zorc gained a terrible habit of putting the heads of people and duel monsters he didn't like on pikes. He walked around what was left of Domino City using her body as though it was his own, and cared not who found it disturbing. Nor did he care who minded the heads he put on display.

Zorc certainly didn't mind when he lured Mokuba away using Noah Kaiba's body as a trap. He didn't get a chance to do it with Seto. Seto wasn't as hopeful, nor as gullible. Not anymore.

Seto stared at Mokuba's head, looking back at him with his lips in a serene smile. He ignored everything around him, save for Noah Kaiba's preserved corpse sitting next to the pike. Noah's eyes were blank, and dull, but the millennium eye on his forehead shined. His black suit was just as pristine as Seto remembered it being.

The Millennium Ring hung around Amane's neck. She leaned back against the pike, with her arms crossed behind her back. Her dark blue hair fluttered in the wind, and her white dress was torn and stained. Her once brown eyes were now a soulless, moral-less black. Gates to the very shadow realm the entity desecrating her body created and corrupted to its will.

"I'm learning." Zorc-Amane's voice was warped and warbled, sounding both unnatural and inhumane. Wisps of glowing white swirled around her and the pike. These were the remains of Bakura's soul he crushed and decimated after beheading young Mokuba.

Joey faltered, hands clenched in rage. His eyes focused on the ring hanging around Zorc-Amane's neck. Yami told him the more of himself Zorc put into Amane's body, the more the ring would reject him. Joey didn't think that helped anything at all either way. Next to him, Kiba barked and growled as he hopped on the ground.

"What will you do now?" Zorc-Amane goaded. Shadows rose from the darkness surrounding them.

Ishizu was fastest to react, snapping out her whip with a flick of the wrist, and summoning one of her trusted Duel Monsters, Mudora. Mudora glowed, as if empowered by something, and the being was able to throw off quite a few of the shadows that attacked them.

Joey summoned Red Eyes Black Dragon. Zorc-Amane didn't flinch when its flames seared her skin. She only grinned, showing off sharp pointy teeth that were impossibly long to fit in her mouth.

Seto backed away slowly but surely. The edges of his white trench coat filled with black. He stumbled, his glasses fell off his face, and shattered on impact with the ground. He covered his eyes, murmuring, "It didn't...it was supposed to...why didn't it help...?" He stumbled and fell on his rear.

Heat and mana circled around Joey. Flames licked his hands, and darkness swirled around his feet. His Millennium Puzzle glowed. "Kiba. Eat."

Zorc-Amane laughed a dark demonic laugh. Seto peeked through his fingers at the tiny terrier he and Mokuba had got for Joey when he learned of Serenity's painful deteriorating life. Joey had nearly quit on the spot, but something kept him moving. Back then the small dog had run right up and took a bite out of a shadow creature attacking its pack. If a small dog was still fighting, Joey had no excuse. Now, the small dog morphed and grew. Quickly it towered over Joey, and even Seto.

"Holy..." Ishizu murmured.

The dog pounced on a shadow creature. The ground shook as it landed. The shadowy duel monster screeched as Kiba tore its head right off with a bite force many times stronger than its tinier terrier form. Kiba spit the duel monster out, and continued on to the next target.

Joey growled, angry. Seto could tell he was looking at him. The growl sounded like an order to stay put, so Seto did. Seto's Blue Eyes appeared, and circled its body around him, protecting Seto from that which he didn't want to see anymore. It roared, as if grieving.

A/N: Well, there's no denying Schrodinger Noah's fate now, is there? Mudora is an actual monster card in canon anime Ishizu's deck. It glows because Mokuba's skillset is classed as a fairy. Mudora the playing card is an effect monster that gets an extra attack boost for every fairy in the graveyard.
