A month has passed since Kooper, Aurafu and company purified Rena and surfed across dimensions. During that time, Kooper showed Aurafu and Noiwave technology for the first time and hanging out with them a lot. Late one night, Kooper and Aurafu were playing baseball for the first time together.
Aurafu holds the baseball confused about what to do "So, do I throw the ball at you, Kooper?"
Kooper get's in position with the bat" "Yes, ill hit the ball with the bat."
Noiwave walks up to the two "I am not to be used as a shield."
Aurafu facepalms before hitting the ball and walks into the forest to retrieve the ball "I can't believe I lasted a mouth with the likes of you"
Kooper follows him "That was amazing! you should have shown me more of that action!"
Aurafu lifts a broken tree with one arm "Like that?"
The duo looks down at the ground to see a glow inside of it.
"Well, it's been a while since we had an adventure so let's take a gander" Aurafu uses his claws to dig into the ground for the object.
"Oh my God! did you just pull out one of the rarest treasures in my Universe, it's a warp whistle!
Meanwhile, a Lucario is sitting by a nearby bench and walks up to Noiwave, as she went cross-eyed.
The Lucario looks up at Noiwave "You okay? Hmm, what were you doing?"
Noiwave snaps out of it "Oh! That's a good question. Now, will you excuse me I have to keep looking into space, as I try to find a purpose" Noiwave goes cross-eyed again?
"Uh, okay then?" The Lucario goes back to sit down.
Suddenly, a powerful gust of wind passes on by as Kooper and Aurafu run out of the forest in a panic.
"Why did you not tell me that the whistle summons a tornado!?"
If I remembered, I would have warned you!
"But you knew what this rare treasure was, so how did you forget!?"
The tornado then starts to pull Kooper into it and Kooper grabs Aurafu's headband to pull him in. The two then appear in the sky. Both of them fall and fall into a house.
Aurafu picks out the wood in his back "This was not what I was asking for when it came to an adventure."
"Wait a minute" Kooper looks around the house "this is... my home!"
"You're telling me this place which is only one room with a boombox, bookshelf, dead body sleeping on a hammock, ceiling fan-" Aurafu looks back at the hammock and then hides behind Kooper in fear "DEAD BODY ON THE HAMMOCK!?"
"Oh, my f**king Koopa! that is not like a Urshifu I have ever seen! I am Dry Bones, I am a... well... Dry Bones. I ended up crashing at Kooper's house because the backdoor was open it's like in Super Mario world where Bowser's castle has a backdoor."
"So you're telling me that Kooper is a kid and he has his own house?" Aurafu takes a second to think "then again, baby Pokémon do have their places where I come from, so it does not sound out of the ordinary.
"I see you got a warp whistle there" Dry bones look at it intrigued.
"What!? these are supposed to go away after one use" Kooper picks it up confused "which means we can use it more than one time! But before we do that" Kooper runs out to the back door and climbs up one of the trees to shake out a bunch of Mario power-ups he collected in the past that he hid in his trees.
"I did not know that you had these out here I would have stolen them if I knew" Dry Bones catches some of the power-ups.
"Ok, you can just get your stuff so we can go home" Aurafu catches Kooper.
"Gimme that! I learned how to play Magalovania for a reason" Dry bones proceeds to play the first few notes of the song before the tornado sucks them in.
The tornado left them in a small Autumn-coloured town. Pokémon bustled between the residential and commercial districts, all simply living their daily lives. Nearby, a large forest sprawled out. The trio pull their heads out of the leaf's to see that a purple Lucario was looming over them with a gun"
"Don't just step into this world via a natural disaster you know what's going on! She points a gun at their heads.
"How many Lucario's are we gonna come across!?" Kooper gets annoyed "No seriously! there are almost nine hundred pocket monsters and all come across is Lucario's! there just as common as Pidgey's now for fu-" Kooper gets grabbed by the Lucario, "I will stand by my opinion even if I die."
"Umm…" A Helioptile was standing nearby, seemingly talking to nothing, but had been interrupted by their arrival".
Aurafu tries to break them up "OK! let's just civilly settle this-" he then gets pepper-sprayed by the purple Lucario "AHHHH! WHAT IS THAT!?"
"I take it back, lady please don't wanna go to sleep forevermore" Kooper begs her.
"They call me Lucy, not lady, Kid. We don't welcome intruders of the likes of you!" she points the gun at Kooper's shell "you're not even a Pokémon, I bet."
The Helioptile stepped back, concerned "Umm... You're the intruders…"
A Zoroark was hiding in the shadows "Right. And if you continue to threaten my little guy, then I'm gonna need to step in."
"I am someone's little guy? that makes me feel special" Kooper smiles.
"Wasn't talking about you, kid."
Kooper grabs the purple Lucario's arm to point the gun at this head "Just do it."
Dry Bones get bored of this and then proceeds to pull out a bone and Lucy throws Kooper away, get on all her fours to try to catch the bone "There we go, good girl" he pat's her on the head.
"Even for land without legendaries... This has to take the cake for the weirdest thing I've ever seen. Little guy?"
Aurafu rubs his eyes "There is one right here right now! "
"It umm... Doesn't change the fact that the legendaria's abandoned our world... One more doesn't make a huge difference…" said the Helioptile.
"No wonder why they don't with that attitude."
He finally dropped the illusion. "They have their reasons, I'm sure. 'Sides, we're working to bring them back."
"But who are you!?" The Helioptile asked.
"Finally, I can see again! my name is Aurafu and that's my friend Kooper over there." Aurafu open's his eyes and looks at the Zorark.
"Great! Then that means we can talk with you" The Zorark was releveled. "The name is Kresin and that's my little guy Volstro."
Lucy takes the bone out of her mouth "We not gonna talk about how a Lucario just transported here?"
The other Lucario from before shows up out of nowhere with a teleportation device "I'm from the future," he says as a joke.
"Or we can just make another tornado warning" Dry Bones uses the warp whistle to jump into the tornado that knocks down many trees and sucks in Meta's teleportation device.
One of the trees almost falls onto Lucy on Volstro, but Kooper and Aurafu chop the tree in half and strike a pose afterward.
"Heh. Kind of cool" Kresin said amused.
Aurafu looked at Kresin while he was still in his pose "We saved your little buddy and all we get is a Heh. Kinda cool? What am I on about?"
"Get used to it because this is only the start of being underappreciated. You do all this to protect people and you receive very little in return. I would know I work as an officer for little pay" Lucy says annoyed.
"Do you want money is what you're telling me?" The other Lucario asked Lucy.
"I don't need a sugar Daddy! let's just get moving already" Lucy walks off with Aurafu and Kooper.
Kooper looks up at Lucy to ask something So what is around here to see, Lucy?
Lucy put's on a pair of reading glasses and pulls out a book about the history of Celetris "The continent of Celestris is a sort of hot spot for unusual activity. No one is entirely sure why, but there is a sort of wives' tale passed down among the locals that go like this: A long time ago, the great legendaries Dialga and Palkia watched over the land of Celestris, keeping the flow of time and the barriers of space intact. But after a golden Pyroar thief stole a precious gem from the two lords, they punished her by condemning the entire land, turning their watchful eyes away from Celestris, and allowing time and space to bend and warp. Since then, the residents of the continent have adopted, and they say the only way to restore the land would be to find the golden Pyroar and return the stolen gem to its rightful place. Alas, though, as far as anyone can tell, this is no more than a fairytale, and not even the slightest lead on the mythical thief has ever been found."
"Right. So thanks to that, all sense of time and space has kind of unfolded. It's impossible to showcase all of Celestris in a simple day, you know. But the rest is up to you."
"Umm... So... I was umm... About to leave for the Badlands... a rescue mission…" Said Volstro.
"Hmm. Normally I wouldn't worry too much. But... The Badlands are more dangerous than usual. I'm not sending you alone" said Kresin.
Aurafu steps up confidently and raises Kooper's arm "It can't be that bad, we fought worse already so let's prove our worth to these people, Kooper!"
"Right... Umm... The Badlands are accessible through the Twisted Root Tunnel, through Summerfall Forest."
"You seem to say um... in every sentence," Kooper notices.
Aurafu looks back at the other Lucario "You can come with us. At least you can see some action at the least He then points at Lucy's tail. "You're missing out. What's your name?"
"My name is Metawild, or just Meta" he looks over at Lucy and get gets up to follow them "Sure I'll go with you guys."
Kresin lays back "Have fun, then. I'm gonna stay back and have lodging ready for you."
"Umm... To get to the destination... We'll have to cross Summer fall Forest... Right... So umm... Follow me... I think?"
Lucy sighs "You're the one that's suppose to be doing the mission you should know."
He glared at her. "Do you want to get paid or not?"
"I already don't get the best pay don't try to test me!"
The four, later on, stumble across a mystery dungeon and one mystery dungeon later, they step out of it The sun beat down upon the sweltering desert, threatening to burn them alive. They stumble across an oasis/
"Well, we're here now that's for she and I see someone's body in the oasis right now and they look dead to me Lucy looks into the" oasis".
Kooper shrugs "...Maybe they're just asleep."
Suddenly, Meta runs into the oasis and disappears and he giggles.
"What the f**k!? did he just turn into nothingness?!" Aurafu freaks out.
Lucy hides behind Aurafu "He did!"
Aurafu and Lucy hug each other sweating and shivering. Meta puts his mask on and slowly walks behind them all and scares them then retreats into the mist. Aurafu and Lucy scream and jump into the oasis. They hear more giggles and laughter coming from the mist. But soon the mist flows away and they see meta doing a weird pose.
...I think that heat is getting to our heads now Kooper pulls out a fishing rod and cast the line in the oases "Guess imma go fishing."
"Grrr... Why do you invade my territory...?" A Garchomp yelled "Get out... before I make you! There's no one to rescue here... GO AWAY!" A large sand geyser erupted from beneath them.
"Who are you?!" Meta looks up at the Pokémon.
"Who are YOU, to step into my land like you own the place!?"
"My name is Metawild or you can just call me Meta, what is your name?"
"What the f**k is your problem!? this Pokémon is going to attack us!" Lucy shoats at Meta.
"Well, Lucy you never know if he's a friendly" Meta states.
Lucy crosses her arm "That's what a dumb stupid person would say!"
"Hey call me dumb again and I will personally kick your ass and shove my boot up your ass!" Meta looks at her with a sorta pissed-off face. He quickly snatches her gun off of her holster "Hmm, not even a strap on the holster?" he turns around, as he takes out a magazine and empty's the ammo into his pockets before putting the mag back in.
"This... Is an amusing sight, I admit. By all means, beat yourselves up. Easiest pickings for me!"
"So you do find this amusing?" Meta tackles Lucy to the ground.
Aurafu grabs both of them by the necks "ENOUGH! Your bitching bickering will only get us all killed!?"
Meta whispers into Aurafus ear "Maybe if we get into a little play fight he'll leave us alone."
"Hmm" Aurafu bashes their heads together.
"The Garchomp growls" Right... Fun's over. Get off my land.
Meta points the empty gun at the Garchomp "Well you better tell us your name or get away from us!"
"You're the intruders here."
"But we did not see any trust passing sign," Kooper says.
"So just because there isn't one, means it's free space!? No wonder you don't live in the wild; you'd die in a day! Time's up. Get out of my territory, or I'll make ya!" The Garchomp threatened.
"We just want to find a Glaceon is all, chief," Kooper says calmly.
"Grrr... You want to take my prey from me... in my territory... by threatening my life? Never."
"I did not threaten you that's a slander on my name" Kooper points at himself.
"You don't speak for the Lucario, turtle. Stay out of this. I don't need to tell you anything. Now scram!"
"Umm... So you're just... abandoning me...?" Volstro asked the larger group "Glacie's still in trouble... Umm... Can we please focus on the mission...?" He asked before he gets picked up by Kooper.
"You're not taking me prey from me. I'm wild, damn it! It's mine if I say it's mine because I fight for my damn survival! You can't tell me what's mine and what's not!" The Garchomp launched a ball of draconic fire at them "You civilized Pokémon always think you're so much better than us wilds... You don't understand our way of life! I'll kill you!"
Kooper, Aurafu, and the two Lucario's get ready to fight and stand their ground.
"STOP! that Garchomp has every right to defend himself" Volstro yelled at them.
"And don't return! I ain't dealing with you civilized folks again!"
"Sorry for bumping into you sir or miss" Meta apologizes.
"…Umm...don't worry too much…" Volstro doubles back, going in a different direction.
"Lucy...never talk about what I did in the mist" Meta begs Lucy.
"I should arrest you right now for disarming and assaulting me!"
"And what are you gonna earn for that, a medal of honor?" Meta turns around and puts his arms behind his back "What are you waiting for Lucy? You know you wanted to do this when you first saw me" Lucy then handcuffs him "Heh, this your new kink?"
"You won't know what a kink is until you're behind the bars!"
"Oooooh, shiver me timber's I-I'm so scared please don't send me to jail." He looks back at her.
Lucy walks back to the mystery dungeon with Meta. As they were walking to the mystery dungeon, he apologized to Lucy for taking her firearm and assaulting her.
Kooper's sadden back in the desert after everything that happened and Aurafu comforted him, apologizing for letting the situation get out of hand as the leader. He assures him that everything would be ok and that they should not give up. He then picks Kooper up with one arm and then shows him his aura that was flowing through his other hand, as they were trying to find somewhere to stay for the time being.
