Meanwhile back with marinette...
After all of that running, she had finally made it to her destination. Mari was out of breath when she saw what seemed to be some sort of concession stand. After looking more closely, she realized it was where people submit there entrys, which reminded her why she was here and quickly went over there and saw a man inside. The man was in his mid 30's and had brown hair and had headphones in his ears. Which made it harder for her to get his attention.
"Hey mister. I like to enter the contest." said Marinette. She was hoping that they would still let her be in it. The man than checked his watch and then turned back to her.
"Well your very lucky young lady." He said. "You still have 1 minute left to enter."
Oh thank god thought Marinette. She was relieved that she wasnt late like she was for school or any other event.
"My i see to design?" asked the man.
"Oh sure." she said while handing the man her project. When he looked at it, he was impressed. In all of his years, he hadnt see nothing like this in his life.
"Why this is the best hat i have ever seen. You should go into business with this. I would be your first customer."
"Thank you mister..."
"Eric. You can call me Eric. Just dont call me late for dinner." Eric said while winking at her.
Marinette then laugh and told Eric that her name is Marinette while shaking hands and Eric gave her hat back. He also give her an entry form in which she put in her pocket.
"The entrance is to your left. Cant wait to see you on that walk way."
Marinette then froze. I did NOT just heard that right? She thought.
"D-Did you say walkway?" she asked nervously.
"Oh yeah. All contestants have to show off what they made. I thought they told you in the commerical."
"I guess they forgot to tell me that part." she said. Marinette noticed that it was about time to start and said her goodbye to him. She then went to a hidden are near the building where she can talk to tikki in private. She didnt want anybody else to figure out she had an "animal" in her bag.
"What am i going to do tikki? I have to walk down a runway while wearing my hat! I cant do this. What if i trip and fall during my entrance? Then everyone will laugh and..."
"Marinette." Tikki said while stopping her. "Dont worry about a thing. I know this is your first time do this, but dont get nervous. You won that derby hat contest for Adrien remember?"
"Yeah. But he could wear it because he was allergic to it." said Marinette
"Thats not the point. You didnt put any feathers on this hat. Plus you heard what Eric had said. You designs are amazing. You going to win this Marinette. Just believe in yourself." said tikki. She felt like she was giving a speech to her.
Marinette then felt motivated by tikki's word and the replyed "Your right tikki. I can do this." She then went to the doors but then stopped when she saw the strangest thing in her life. She saw a Man with black hear and looked like he was in his late 20's (also knowed as zack). Besides him where two robots (The zack bots), which seemed to guarding the place.
"Why hello. May i see your ticket please?" asked Zack.
"Uh sure..." said Marinette. She then give him the piece of paper that Eric had gave her.
"Scan it." said Zack to one of the Zack bots. The robots then did what it was told and then showed a green checkmark meaning the ticket was real.
"Have a nice day, Marinette." He said.
