It was a Saturday morning in Celetris and Aurafu was running some errands and missions before heading to Kresin and his friend's house.
Aurafu knocks on the door "Morning to y'all. I have to find Kooper because it's been a few days since I last saw him. After all, I have been hiding with Latias."
"Finally came out of the shadows, eh?" Noiwave came flying down and lands on their mailbox.
"Noiwave! you found a new job already?"
"Same job, different world as a mail Noivern, but the pay is good at least, so I'll just put up with anyone's bull s**t," She says before pulling out their mail.
"YOU GOT MAIL!" Kooper pops out of the mailbox.
"EXCEPT THAT, STOP DOING THAT!" Noiwave steps back and throws a letter at Kooper "That one was for you anyways!"
Kooper looks at the letter in surprise "Wait... this letter looks like it was made by Princess Peach! where did you get this, Noiwave!?"
"Who do you think?" Dry Bones jumped out of Noiwave's mailbag "I went to Peach's Castle the other day and I told Toadsworth and Parrykarry that I was hanging with you. Now shut up and read the letter. I wanna go party!"
Dear Kooper:
Please come to the castle. We're holding a surprise party when you return. Yours truly-
Princess Toadstool Peach.
"Well, that's all she has to tell me. Let's go!"
"You two boys go have fun now." Aurafu pulls Kooper out of the mailbox and set him on the ground "Despite all the places we have adventures to so far, it's always nice to go back home, even if it's just a visit"
"Yeah whatever, big guy"
Dry Bones plays on his warp whistle and a small twister comes to pick up the two Koopa's, not before almost swooping up Noiwave and she jumps right into Aurafu's arm.
"...Is this a sign, Noiwave?" Aurafu tilts his head.
"Yeah, it's a sign for me to get the hell out of here" Noiwave flies out of his arms and up in the sky to continue her deliveries.
"Oh well. Next time" He shrugs and knocks on Kresin's door.
In a nearby bush, someone was peeking out and was looking at the Rescue Team before they scurried out the bush.
"Hmm?" Aurafu's aura glows and he sees a body in the bushes "Ok let's get this over with" he said annoyed before walking up to the bushes and sees a body "of course. There is only one logical place to take this character."
Loading The Police Station Of Celetris In Autumn Village.
Aurafu walks into the Police station wearing a cloak.
"How do you do, Aurafu" Lucy waves at them at the front desk "What the hell do you want?"
"Well, I'll tell you what the hell I want! this Delphox has some history with me, to say the least, and I found her in a bush.''
"I see… We will see what we can do, but a potion can probably fix her up. Just hand over her so we can take her to the interrogation room" Lucy then gets up and Aurafu hands Delphox to her, as she struggles to carry her "Arrgh! damn, this is one fat Delphox!"
Loading the interrogation room.
"Sigh, I don't have the time for this" Lucy heals her with a potion and paralyze heal before she spills water on the Delphox face "Speak."
The Delphox finally wakes up "Huh!? Where am I?!"
"This is Celetris. You were found knocked out in some bush is what a comrade of mine told me."
"Celetris?! But I thought I was a human WAIT A MINUTE! A Lucario that CAN TALK!?"
"Oh, here we go again with this Human, s**t" Lucy rolls her eyes.
"Also why am I here, to begin with? Apart from um I guess being knocked out."
"Don't ask questions we don't know the answers to. Who are you and do you remember anything?"
"Well, I'm a human named Rena, suddenly I appeared in a world that was unknown. But a sudden shadow or what it looked like a wolf appeared and was glowing a lot, especially their red eyes."
"...Boys, bring that Urshifu in here" Lucy yells out the room.
"Huh!? WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!?"
Aurafu walks into the room "I'm here, I'm here it's me!"
"So tell me, Aurafu do you know anything about this Rena character?"
"Mhm, I should have said this from the start. I met Rena back in my home universe when she was trying to destroy a city, she was turning into different Pokemon. I also met Kooper and Noiwave there. The reason why I have this weird aura form is that I believe she was a Riolu or Lucario beforehand and she might have still had some aura inside of her when she was in her Delphox, so she bit into my arm and the aura went into my bloodstream."
"But I don't remember any of that I never met you till now."
"That's what they all say. She is a void shadow then."
Rena felt pressured because they seem confident with their statement, she slowly starts to cry and feel overwhelmed. "NOO I'M NOT A POKÉMON AT ALL!"
Lucy slams her fist on the table "Void shadows can't turn into Humans! you're lucky you lost your memory because now we can't read your mind with our AURA!"
"Lucy! calm down!" Aurafu set's his paw on her shoulder. "Thankfully, Kooper has blessed me with a treasure that lets me communicate with him" he pulls out a Game Boy Horror.
"His world has a device where you can communicate with someone across dimensions/universes? this technology stuff keeps getting better. I wonder if Kooper will take Dialis and Arcenis if I can buy one off of him." Lucy rubs her paws together.
"Oh, it's a game boy. I remember having one of those when I was a kid. But it's supposed to be played not for communication."
"Oh no, this is special. This Game Boy Kooper bought it from a strange man in a white coat. It displays a map, the user's stats, camera thingy, and communication... oh and it can play these Video Games he is talking about." Aurafu then attempts to call Kooper.
Meanwhile, in the Mushroom Kingdom, Kooper and Dry Bones made it to Peach's Castle and were waiting for the party to start, as they were talking to an old friend.
"I have to say, Parrykarry this Koopa tea is f**cking slamming... too bad I can't taste it" Dry Bones poured the tea in his mouth and it spilled onto the floor.
"Yeah but... how did you meet all those strange Pokemon in the first place, Kooper? you just went missing one-day" Parrykarry said while taking a sip of the tea "And Dry Bones overhear he's just weird, like why is your name just Dry Bones?"
"I-I um... I am on some Sticker Star s**t" he pulls out a copy of Paper Mario: Sticker Star "Ill just avoid that stupid question and explain how I got his warp whistle. So one day I was inside Tubba Blubba's old castle in Gusty Gulch, I was looking in his master bedroom and I came across an NES Game Genie, so I rubbed it not expecting a real-life Genie to come out and BAM! There he was and he granted me 3 wishes, my first was for the Warp Whistle itself, the second was so I can use it an infinite amount of times and the last was so I can travel to any universe I wished far beyond World 9 from Super Mario Bros 3. The first place I ended up at was bum f**king nowhere and when I played the whistle to get out of there, I dropped it into the ground before the twister took me away back home. So that's why Kooper and his mates ended up with it."
"But you never said that you had it in the first place!"
"Yeah, it's fun hiding stuff because one day all of you will die, and I'll be the only one that will know everything."
Kooper glares at him blankly before he gets a call "Oh geez! my Game Boy I'm sorry I'm blowing up right now" he then picks up the call "You miss me already, Aurafu?"
"No, not really. Listen, Kooper, we need both of you to get back here because we have Rena back here, but her memory is gone so we need some extra information about her if you have any."
"But do we have to go now? The party is about to start."
"No one cares about your damn party! people are only coming to get high off of magic mushrooms!" Lucy claims angrily.
While Lucy was saying that, Dry Bones was cutting up a mushroom into small pieces before hiding it in his shoe "I don't know why you would say that."
"I'm sorry. Just come down here real quick so you can act as a witness, and then you can go back to your party after that I promise."
"Ok. Sorry everyone I will be right back after this investigation."
Dry Bones tried to play the whistle, but it would not let him indoors, so he had to drag Kooper outside to finally warp back to Celetris and outside the Police Station.
"WARNING! EVERYONE GET DOWN OR THEY WILL BE A GUN IN AT YOUR FRONT DOOR TOMORROW MORNING!" Dry Bones yelled through a megaphone.
Lucy then pointed a gun at his head as she was shaking and sweating from being spooked "Not t-today you w-won't!"
"Why do you need a gun when you probably have Aura Sphere?" Dry Bones pulled out a Tranquilizer Gun.
Lucy and Dry Bones slowly hand trade their guns and Lucy shoots Dry Bones in the nose with the Tranquilizer Gun, putting him to sleep.
"Gotcha, bitch!" She pocket-picks the knife he had.
"Ok, that's enough. Let's focus on the matter at hand. So tell me Kooper how you met Rena yourself"
"Well when I ended up in your world, I lost my memory for some reason and that's when I came across Rena who was a Riolu at that time. She had this weird, corrupted side to her that was a Delphox and she said that I was a part of a Rescue Team that killed her Brother, took advantage of her, framing her, and a little more. She also has no Family from what I remember hearing."
Aurafu put his paws into Kooper's hands "He seems to be truthful about what he is saying now judging by his aura, but what does this all mean?"
Rena looks at them and tilts my head wondering what is going on with the interrogation "To be honest, I never mee y'all till y'all appear in that town. But then all I know was I saw something glowing and knocked me out"
"Well, there are two people in here that can glow" Kooper points at both Lucy and Aurafu.
"Are you saying one of us knocked her daylights out?"
"None of this makes any sense. This must be from some other timeline where this happened, so if this was true we simply can't be held accountable."
"I never met that kid as I said only in that specific town, then I got ambushed and now I'm here."
"How about that nightmare you had, Kooper?"
"She was there and everyone was trying to kill me! blah, blah, blah and then there was this big bad wolf there too or something. I don't know, do you? These questions make my head hurt."
"Speaking of heads hurting, I hear some beeping in the background" Lucy's ear twitches.
The interrogation room exploded all of a sudden, covering everyone off guard and in ashes.
Dry Bones wakes up "That sounded like some 1980s explosion what the f**k was that!?" He then looks at a wolf in front of them "And why is there a Furry here now? I thought this was a Video Game exclusive, dammit!"
"That's the wolf that was in that nightmare I had!" Kooper slowly walks up to him "Hey Seriph, how's it going-"
Seriph stares deeply into Kooper eyes, smilingly and giggling uncomfortably.
Lucy pulls Kooper back "Hold on, kid. Let the professionals do the work here." The other officers are right behind his back. She walks up to Seriph and gets punched right in her gut.
Seriph looks up at Aurafu as his eyes twitch. His whole body is basking in glitch particles and he changes into a shadowy figure of himself. He created a dark aura sphere that Seriph created that seemed to be different with a dark, sparkly texture.
"I am not letting you hurt my friends, Seriph" Kooper stands by Aurafu's side ready to fight by his side.
"Is that so? how much do you really like your friends~ because I'm taking someone down" Seriph's whole body began shaking his pupils gotten shorten and his pupils turn deep red as he went psycho "I only used Rena for the pleasure of messing around with y'all she doesn't even know who y'all are and she seems to be under my control this entire time~"
"If you were controlling her, then why could you not get out of that corrupted world then" Kooper squints.
"Amusement and simple desires" He snaps his fingers and his eyes begin to glow along with Rena's.
"You freaking played me like I was a toy! you made her say all that about how all my friends were actually not real and now they're here right now about to take you to town!"
"I would like to see ya try dork but I'm gonna have enjoyment torturing all of you!" Seriph spins one of his weapons and knocks Aurafu, Lucy, and Dry Bones out the way to dash towards Kooper when he is vulnerable, he grabs him and bashes him in the head before throwing him at the wall, breaking it.
Aurafu shoots his aura sphere in the back of Seriph and pins him to the wall "No one hurts my son Kooper and I won't let you seal his fate EVER!" He pummels Seriph with his head.
Rena uses mystical fire on Aurafu to follow up by lifting him and smashes him against the wall. Lucy ice punches her directly in her back to break Aurafu out of her grasp.
"Lucy we have to warn the residents to take shelter right now from these Void Shadows right now! Dry Bones, you take Kooper back to Kresin's house right now!"
"Whatever you say, big boss bear" Dry Bones rushes to Kooper to pick him up "That Furry just shafted you completely, Kooper."
Seriph pounds the floor and summons an army of Void Shadows "WAKE UP AND RISE FROM THE UNDERGROUND AND CAUSE AS MUCH CORRUPTION AS YA CAN!"
Dry Bones ran outside and gathered all the Pokémon's attention with his megaphone "Attention all Pocket Monsters! There is a public service Announcement to announce that there are two Void Shadows in the Police station right now! Do not approach them and take shelter right now or you will die!" Dry Bones runs to Kresin's house and knocks on his door frantically. "Come on guys! It's raining hell out here!"
Kresin yawned loudly, before quickly snapping into action. "Volstro! We got business!"
The Helioptile was already racing down the stairs. He hurriedly finished tying his sword belt and himself before rushing out the door. He never said a word.
"There is no time to explain, so I'll waste our time explaining. We got two Void Shadows making a commotion down the mountain and they killed Kooper, so we have to cremate him."
"There is no time to explain. We got two Void Shadows making a commotion down at Autumn Forest and they killed Kooper, so we have to cremate him."
"... We're not cremating him."
Dry Bones drops Kooper and walks near the cliffside of Astral Mountain, looking down at the destruction "Well, it's game over now or never if we don't clubber that Wolf down there."
Kooper staggers up next to Dry Bones "But we don't have any healing items. I almost died in one hit."
"Unless" Dry Bones then takes off his shoe and pours out the mushroom that he chopped up earlier "Guess you can say we're boned" He winked.
"So what's the plan, then?" Kresin asked. "But I mean aside from that."
"It's not gonna be easy. It's us VS an army of Void Shadows" Kooper says while blood drips out his nose "We had to head to the Autumn village where all the Void Shadows and copyrighted music is at" he points down the mountain.
"Then what are we waiting for? We got a battle to fight!"
The four all rush down to Autumn Village, hiding in the leaf piles while they try to come up with a plan as Seriph was blasting music with his electric guitar. Soon the autumn village lost its original colors and now are replaced with a purple, black, and blueish texture that covered the area.
"Who turned off the colors!?" Kooper comes out of the leaves, breaking his cover.
"Hey! Careful!" Kresin shouted, hiding in his illusions and sneaking around, looking for a good opening.
Kooper gets smacked with Seriph's guitar and the strings vibrate "Pathetic." He soon starts basking in hatred and corrupt energy, his pupils shorten, and goes berserk on Kooper grabbing him by the legs and smacking Dry Bones out the way.
The Void Shadows summoned from before jump in to help and all seem to be kicking the two Koopa's. Two aura spheres suddenly came their way and wiped out many of the Void Shadows.
"You're starting to annoy me now! I want to run our match back" Lucy picks Kooper up from the ground.
"You guys came back!?" Kooper looked up.
"I lead this team, so everything is on me if we fail" Aurafu heals Kooper "You two kids have to get back" he puts his arm in front of Kooper. "This guy is more strong than any of us though and I don't want you to be back in the hospital again, Kooper."
"You believed in me, you have to let me fight with you! Were a rescue team, we're all in this together"
Kresin silently nodded. "A bond between friends is the most powerful thing in the world."
"My friends are my power cliche" Lucy sarcastically remarks and turns around with her arms crossed.
"But we see you as a friend, Lucy," said Kooper.
"I pointed a gun at you when we first met and then you wanted me to shoot you because Kresin did not say you were his little guy."
"I learned quite a bit since then. I learned to not take your friends for granted because they care and love you as a friend. I could get you fired from your job, but we landed in Celetris out of nowhere so I can understand a little bit about why you did it. You're just as much of a friend to me as Aurafu or Kresin." he said to Lucy.
"You mean that?" Lucy turned around.
"Lucy."
"We all have to put our differences aside to save Celetris. Who's with me?" Kooper puts his hand out.
Aurafu shook Kooper's hand "Here is the plan. I'll attack him head-on, you Kooper will be right behind me helping me out, Lucy will play a keep-away game, and Dry Bones and Kresin can distract that Wolf."
While they were making their plan, Seriph walks over to a tree, while the Voids and Rena get in the way of the team to buy himself some time to use the tree as an energy beacon.
"My specialty." Kresin palmed his fist. "he noticed them, and carefully eyed them. "We got company."
"Enough delay. Now it's our time to shine" Aurafu runs up to the Void Shadows with determination.
Kooper used Dizzy Shell to stun many of the shadows, Kresin grinned and quickly made several copies of himself. Then he ran at a few of the shadows. Seriph goes for the energy beacon that was the main source of the forest, by going on top of the tree of life he could use it to corrupt the people at its radios then makes a run for it as more Void Shadows raised from the ground and made a barrier in front of them.
"Dammit!" Aurafu punched the barrier "These cowards always make these barriers. How are we gonna get past these?"
"L-Leave them to me!" a shaky voice sang out, as Volstro caught up and drew his blades. "Umm... t-there's gotta be a way around them... right?"
Lucy and Aurafu punched the barrier while the two Koopa's drilled into it with their shells, Volstro began slashing and slashing, while Kresin tried to get around it.
"That's it! We will have to take the good with the bad, so we're blowing this up" Dry Bones pulled out Bomb-omb
"ARE YOU CRAZY!?" Aurafu yelled, panicking.
"Ack!" The small Helioptile shouted.
The Bomb-omb blew up in Dry Bones mouth and the barrier shattered when he blew up next to it. Everyone nervously peeked out from the pile. Seriph goes up to the tree and starts to summon dark matter into Celetris. The weather changes and dark clouds seem to fill in the area.
Volstro growled. "We've got to stop this; it's getting worse. Toss me!" He demanded.
"Ask and you shall receive" Aurafu grabbed and threw him up the tree.
Volstro grabbed a branch as far up as he could and started to pull himself up. Aurafu then throws Kooper, Lucy, and Kresin up to the tree so they can help Volstro up, Aurafu catches up with them climbing to the top of the tree and with Dry Bones.
Kresin grinned. "Let's get things going!"
"We're not going into that portal, right?" Dry Bones asked with smoke coming out his mouth.
"I hope we don't have to," Kresin replied.
Suddenly, an explosion blasts the team down which has gotten them down all into 1 hp. Seriph walks up to them feeling confident. "Seems intriguing that y'all still have the will to even fight but if I were, to be honest, what's the point?"
Kresin spat a bit but grinned upwards. "We still have a few tricks up our sleeves. If we did, we wouldn't still be here." Kresin soon disappeared. Several copies of himself showed up afterward.
Everyone charged towards Seriph. He just stood still with his eyes closed snapping his fingers. Rena came up the tree and used Flamethrower to blast away all of Kresin's copies, as she created another barrier blocking them.
"I'll make sure that none of you will ever get to show those tricks EVER AGAIN!" Seriph walks up to the barrier with intense anger, smashing down the barrier, and is about to finish them off with them on their last legs.
"PLEASE! SOMEBODY ELSE SAVE US! Latias!? Noiwave!?" Lucy gets smacked and knocked out by Seriph.
"Perish the thought. You dorks you think someone else will save yall now-" Seriph gets cut off as he hears two Pokémon cries deep in the forest. "No! Not like this!"
"Is that who we think it is" Kooper's eyes lighten up with life.
"Is that the light?" Aurafu opens his eyes a little "Is that you Arceus? Please take me home with you this time!" He opens his arms out.
A large light envelopes the group and blinds Seriph and Rena for a moment until they open their eyes to see that the sextet is gone.
"It's madness! It's madness! Where did they go!?" Rena looks around the tree and under a small rock. "No, not there either!?"
"That's no matter. If they're in another universe or dimension, that gives us more time to take over this land they call home." Seriph summons more Void Shadows and calls them all to him. "Bring mass destruction to this world, my children. Make sure all the Pokémon here lose all hope and most importantly, make sure those dorks do not step foot in this world and If they do, they die. If none of you won't, then I end their game to make sure they don't have any continues after I end them." Seriph clenches his fist and grinds his fangs.
