"Well, maybe we'll get to see this mysterious power in Mason's cards in the next few rounds but for now let's keep things moving." Nico Smiley announced as the next duelists were chosen. "We have Kelly of the Ritual Dimension taking on Rocky Farrow of the Fusion Dimension."
Rocky grinned at this, "I won't go easy on you Kelly."
She giggled. "I'm really strong Rocky."
"I'm glad they're still friends." Blue Frost admitted.
"I wonder where this will go." White Wing admitted.
"Hm?" they looked over.
Jarrod, Mir, and a young white-haired girl had walked over to them.
"Do you mind if we join you?" Jarrod inquired.
They widen their eyes seeing them as Rin said, "Uh sure."
Mir frowned at that.
"Don't be mean, mommy wasn't herself." the girl frowned.
"It's alright Chōko, they have every reason to not like us after what we did." Mir told her. "We'll sit somewhere else."
"Mommy?" they asked shocked.
"People you know?" Sandy's Grandmother asked them.
"You could say that... we kind of ruined their lives." Jarrod admitted. "Well, Mir and I did anyway."
"Well you can sit with us. I'm sure you can make amends with them." she told the three.
"Thank you." Chōko smiled.
"Your welcome dearie. Mind telling us who you are?" Sandy's Grandmother asked her.
"My name is Jarrod, and my wife is Mir." Jarrod answered. "We... helped a lot with the crimes during the Dimensional War, but we're trying to start over."
He then noticed Mir was frowning and looking down.
"I can understand if you all hate me for my actions in the Synchro Dimension but please don't blame Mir, she was a victim after all."
"And you?" she turned to Chōko.
"My name is Chōko." she said before pausing. "Please don't be mad at mommy and daddy."
"We didn't know you two had a daughter." White Wing admitted to Mir, and Jarrod.
"A lot has changed." Jarrod admitted. "Maybe we can start over after today's duels?"
"Alright. And you can tell us the whole story." Blue Frost smiled to them, "I'm Blue Frost, and these are my brothers, and sister. Purple Poison, Double-Iris, Black Fang, and White Wing. We were the Dimensional Dragons."
"The Dimensional... oh, you mean the dragons mommy and daddy told me about? The really scary ones?" Chōko asked curiously.
"We were only helping Zarc, and his other selves." Double-Iris admitted.
"And you might be referring to me as scary." Purple Poison said crossing his arms.
"Why don't you guys sit with us and we can all talk after the duels?" Tate suggested.
"Of course." Jarrod nodded while turning his eyes to Mir before they went to sit, "Who's dueling right now?"
"Rocky and Kelly are about to duel." Julia mentioned calmly. "It looks like it's going to be a Speed Duel."
They turned as they see them arming Duel Boards as Rocky said, "Good luck Kelly."
She smiled. "Thank you."
The countdown starts as they readied themselves.
"3... 2... 1... Duel!" stated a robotic voice.
"DUEL!" Kelly and Rocky called as they raced off.

"Okay, let's do this!" Rocky called, "With no monsters on my field, I can summon banish Stone Army of Obsidian to summon Stone Army of Calcite from my hand!"

At that a Biotite version appeared.

"Once a duel I take no damage!" Rocky told Kelly.
Kelly frowned. "Your monster still gets destroyed though."
"No it doesn't." Rocky said as the monster lasted the attack.
"Huh?" Kelly asked in confusion. "What happened?"
"Biotite can't be destroyed one time." Rocky told her.
"Oh... well I end my turn by using Saffira's ability to add Honest back to my hand." Kelly smiled.

"Clever, since Saffira's ability can activate during either player's turn she can use Honest's ability over and over again and thanks to Ritual Weapon the moment she lands an attack she'll win." Jarrod noted thoughtfully.
"What you mean Daddy?" Chōko asked curiously.
"When a Light monster like Saffira battles Kelly can discard Honest to have it gain the other monster's attack points." Mir explained. "Then, since a Light Monster went from Kelly's hand to the graveyard she gets to use Saffira's ability to add a Light Monster back to her hand, and since Honest is a Light Monster she can get it back every turn. The best part is both abilities can work on her turn and Rocky's turn."
"It's basically a multi part attack, and defense pattern." Blue Frost added.
Chōko's eyes widened hearing that. "Wow. That's cool."

"Okay, I draw!" Rocky called drawing.
Kelly looked on curiously.
"And I activate Dimension Fusion!" Rocky called.

"By paying 2000 points all monsters that are banished are summoned!" Rocky called as a portal appeared showing Obsidian, and Calcite. (Rocky: 2000)
"Not good." Blue Frost frowned.
"Since Calcite is summoned from banishment your monster is banished!" Rocky called as Calcite glowed.
Kelly's eyes widened as Saffira disappeared.
"And now all three of you charged!" Rocky called as they attacked.
Kelly cried out as she was hit.

Rocky wins the duel!
Blue Frost winced a little.
"Huh, I thought she was going to win." Chōko mentioned.
"Unexpected." White Wing admitted before they noticed Blue Frost wincing.
"Huh, what's wrong?" Mir asked her only to pause. "Wait, are you..."
"I... I don't think he likes that Kelly lost." Blue Frost said breathing a little.
"It's alright, Kelly had fun dueling and Rocky is her friend." Julia mentioned rubbing Blue Frost's stomach.
She felt Blue Frost's baby kicking her hand. She smiled before sighing. "Hopefully one day."
"I'm sure you, and Double-Iris will be lucky." White Wing smiled to her.
She nodded at that. "Thanks White Wing."
"Who do you think is up next?" Rin inquired.
They look as who appeared next is George Gore vs Yugo.
"This should be interesting." Zarc smiled.
"Alright now to be ready to be hot-blooded!" Gore grinned walking to the field.
"That sounds good to me." Yugo smiled before offering his hand. "Good luck."
Gore took it shaking it with a grin. Yugo smiled as they took their positions.
Meanwhile Jarrod put a hand on Mir's shoulder and nodded softly.
She met his eyes before nodding back and turning to look at Tate.
"Do you have a minute to talk?" she asked him.
"Hm?" Tate looked curious, and nodded.
They walked off before she sighed. "Do you... remember anything?"
"What do you mean?" Tate asked confused.
"During the Dimensional War... when I... kidnapped you?" Mir clarified.
"Oh... Yeah, I do. I told Stacy about it but she said I was only helping you. And I kept my promise." Tate smiled.
Mir's eyes widened. "Stacy knows?"
"I felt terrible, and wanted to breakup." Tate admitted, "But she convinced me, I didn't cheat on her cause I want too, it's because I want to comfort you."
Mir nodded before looking down uncertainly. "Well... the thing is... Me, and Jarrod had been talking, and we thought of something if we met you, and her again."
"What is it?" Tate asked before frowning. "Are you ok?"
"Well... Me, and Jarrod had thought... We can invite you two to come live with us." Mir explained to him.
"Huh, but why?" he asked curiously.
"Me, and Jarrod think about it... And we decided it could be our best attempt to make amends for everything that had happened... And you did made that promise to me after all." Mir admitted to him, "I... even told Chōko, about our situation together, and she wants to meet you."
Tate looked thoughtful. "I think, we should talk to Stacy and her family about it. I think it sounds like a good idea though."
Mir nodded understanding as they walked back where walking back to Jarrod and Chōko she smiled at her daughter.
Chōko smiled back to her as Jarrod asked her, "How did he take it?"
"I'm not sure... He said it's a good idea though." Mir answered with a smile before asking, "How much of the duel did we miss?"
"Take a look." White Wing said as they looked over.
Gore: 1200
Yugo: 0500
Yugo had just summoned Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon while Gore has a monster called Gouki the Powerload Ogre in play. Yugo grinned. "You put up a good match, but the duel's all over."
"How?" Gore asked.
The Dragon charged as Powerload Ogre tried to counter but was destroyed.
Gore: 0000
Winner Yugo.
"That was a great match." Yugo smiled. "We should have a rematch sometime."
Rin gasped softly.
"Is she proud of her daddy?" Cathy asked with a smile.
"Both my boys are." Rin smiled rubbing her stomach.
White Wing smiled hearing that. She felt a soft kick herself. She smiled rubbing her own stomach.
"Apologies duel fans, but we need to take a small break before the next duel. Feel free to rest up and relax. We'll explain everything in an hour or two." Melissa announced. "Again apologies for the inconvenience."
With that everyone starts leaving as Tate walked back. Stacy walked over before pausing. "Tatey?"
"Yeah?" he asked turning to her.
"Is everything okay?" Stacy softly asked him worried from his expression.
"Yeah." he nodded before pausing. "Actually, Mir and Jarrod wanted to talk to us, Yuya, and Zuzu."
Stacy looked confused but nodded, and then Tate walked to where the kids are.
"Daddy's teaching me to duel, can we duel after the tournament?" Chōko asked.
"Yeah we can girl." Bonnie grinned to her.
Chōko smiled at that.
"Huh, big brother?" Ace asked seeing Tate.
"What you all talking about?" Tate asked them.
"We were just talking about the tournament." Bonnie answered.
He nodded before turning to Chōko, "Chōko do you know who I am?"
"You're the nice man who protected mommy and helped her." Chōko answered with a smile.
"Well... your mommy told me you want me to come live with you. Are you sure you really want that?" Tate asked her curiously.
"Yeah, you're super nice." Chōko smiled.
Tate stared before smiling, and said, "Well... I'll talk about this with your mommy, daddy, and Stacy about it."
"Ok." she smiled.
With that they walked where Tate, Mir, Stacy, Yuya, Zuzu, and Jarrod were all gathered on a table as he sat down before Stacy smiled to them, "Well now that we're all here... we can start talking about it."
"That's true, well we were wondering if you mind if Tate and Stacy come and live with us." Jattod told Yuya and Zuzu only to pause. "Well, only if Stacy and Tate want to."
"Live with you two?" Yuya asked surprised before asking suspicious, "Why exactly?"
"Well, above all else to try and make up for what happened during the war." Mir admitted looking down. "I... wanted to try and make up for what I did to them both."
Zuzu, and Yuya blinked seeing this side of Mir they never seen before. Then again, they never seen her like this before since they known her as the sadistic, and cold woman during the Dimensional War but now with it gone she's now reserved to a kind, and shy woman that has a family. Zuzu wanting an answer ask, "Hey you okay? Your really... different? Like a switch had been flipped."
"It was." Jarrod mentioned to them. "That's exactly what happened to her."
"So what happened exactly?" Yuya asked him curiously.
"The same thing that happened to your counterparts Zuzu." Jarrod answered turning over to Zuzu, "Only it happened years ago, long before Leo Akaba ever arrived in the Fusion Dimension."
Mir shuddered slightly as both Jarrod and Tate took her hands.
"It was one of them Yuya, a Parasite... actually the first one her dad created." Tate explained.
"The first one?" Yuya asked shocked hearing that. "But... it's gone now right?"
"The same as any other Parasite once Shay ki... dealt with the Doktor, it died and disappeared." Jarrod answered.
"How was Mir? Was she alright?" Zuzu asked him.
Jarrod sighed stating placing his palm on his face. "No. She was completely scared ever since being free not wondering what to do, and remembering the stuff the Parasite made her do." He then looked over to them before saying, "With him gone, she had no-one to turn too. She had no-one to help her, the students of Duel Academy, the people that were free, everyone. She couldn't go to the Professor, or LID cause she was always denied, and was left to fend for herself as a result of the things the First Parasite made her do..."
"That's awful..." Zuzu said feeling bad, "Did someone do help her?"
"She just happened to appear at my doorstep soaked one night in a heavy storm." Jarrod admitted recalling the memory.
Flashback...
Jarrod was at home as the new Director of Sector Security reading a small book while a rain storm is happening with a fireplace going on to warm the room, and soft lights. It had been a while since Duel Academy, and Sardon we're both defeated, and went to make amends by coming back to his home Dimension, and make the peace there where he takes Roget's place as Sector Security's Director. Suddenly someone started desperately knocking on the door.
"Huh? Who could that be?" Jarrod asked sighing while putting on a robe as the person continued knocking, "Alright, alright, I'm coming stop that!"
When he opened the door he couldn't believe who he is seeing in front of him, "Mir?"
She was violently trembling and looked to be completely soaking wet.
"Ca... Can... I... Come... in...?" she stuttered while shivering.
"Ah... Why are you standing there come in now!" Jarrod said as Mir ran in as Jarrod closed the door.
"Thank you..." Mir started before trembling. "It's been... hard since, well you know what happened."
"Just sit down, and let me fetch a towel, and a cup of hot chocolate." Jarrod told her having her seat down on his recliner for her to warm up while turning up the temperature of the heater up a little for her to warm up.
"Thank you..." she shuddered before tearing up.
After a minute Jarrod walked back with a mug of hot chocolate, and a large white towel handing them to her. Mir took them with shaking hands before just starting to cry. Jarrod then crossed his arms looking at her, "Okay... what are you doing here of all places?"
"It... it was the only place left." Mir shuddered. "I can't go anywhere else."
"Nowhere huh?" Jarrod sighed hearing that shaking his head, "It makes sense, your father is gone, and after the Dimensional War everyone just dropped Duel Academy's Military Operations including both me, and you." He then looked up to her, "Which means we are both in this together here. So your welcome to stay as long as you need."
"It isn't just that... you know what that thi..." she paused before looking down. "What I did to so many people, I doubt a single person wouldn't want me dead or worse."
"'That thi'...?" Jarrod repeated confused.
Mir's eyes widened. "Nothing, it's nothing... I'm the one who hurt everyone... who should be hated."
"...Mir, don't lie to me. Your clearly hiding something, and hesitating when your saying your doing it." Jarrod stated simply to her, "We're both the same, you can tell me what's your secret is."
Hearing that she turned to him. "When I was a little girl, seven years old, my father... he created a prototype of those things, and needed a test subject to see if they worked. He wanted to make sure... so he ordered it to do something he knew I would never do... murder my mother."
Jarrod widen his eyes, "He... what?" He growled looking down, "That shit's messed up..."
"Ever since that day... until he was killed in the war, that thing was inside my head." Mir explained looking down. "Not that anyone would believe me."
Jarrod looked down before then looking up at her, and asked what she didn't expect.
"Why wouldn't I?"
Mir's eyes widened. "Because... my father created them and I put parasites in people's heads too... well just that one boy but... why would you believe me?"
"I told you... we're both the same." Jarrod told her.
"Jarrod?" she whispered.
"Z-ONE made me believe Team 5D's killed Aporia, but he lied to me. I worked with Duel Academy to get revenge on them, and in the end when I realized it, I tried to right my wrongs." Jarrod answered to her, "I returned her for a fresh new start on life. And you can too."
"I don't know if I can… you had Leo, Luna and Alex… I have nobody." Mir admitted.
"...What about me?" Jarrod asked her.
Hearing that she froze before just breaking down into sobs as he held her gently.
End Flashback...
Needless to say Yuya, Zuzu, Tate, and Stacy are quite stunned from what they heard while Jarrod wraps an arm around Mir as she softly cries on him, "Then one thing lead to another me, and her started dating, and we had a private wedding." He then closed his eyes. "And as if to show proof of our new life... Chōko came into it."
"That's why, when Tate's attack gave me that small period of... being myself I tried to explain it to him... and why he promised that somehow things would be ok but when it took over again, I had no way of knowing what was going to happen." Mir finished.
They looked over to themselves at this before Yuya, and Zuzu whispered to each other before they nodded, and they turned back which Yuya began, "Well... Me, and Zuzu gave our opinions among each other."
"And... We decided to allow Stacy, and Tate to live with you." Zuzu added to them.
"Is that ok with you two?" Jarrod asked Tate and Stacy.
They nodded without a second thought, and Stacy added, "And... Tate decided that he shall continue his promise to Mir."
"That... thank you." she whispered hearing that.
Tate softly hugged her close.
Ulrich362: Well... quite the shock.
