Episode One: Shift Into Turbo
(Part IV)
The Power Chamber
Adam, Tanya, Billy, and Kat all teleport into the Power Chamber and are soon joined by Jason, Zack, Kimberly, Trini, Aisha, Rocky and Justin. They arrive to see Lerigot arrive in the Power Chamber and inquire as to what he's doing there. "Welcome Lerigot, Alpha check on the status of the wormhole." Zordon instructed. "Wormhole?" Billy asked. "It is ready for interdimensional travel Zordon." Alpha said. "Must go soon." Lerigot reminded. "Wait, wait, wait, Zordon what's going on?" Adam asked with everybody else looking on confused.
Divatox's Ship - Angel Grove Lake
Divatox looks through her telescope finding the wormhole. "Porto, where does the passage through the wormhole end? She inquires. "By my calculations, it ends through the Planet Eltar but who would want to go there?." Porto explains. A sinister smile comes across Divatox's face knowing exactly who. "There's only one intergalactic being on earth that has any reason to take a trip to Eltar. This could be my lucky day after all.
The Power Chamber
"What's going on Zordon?" Adam asked. "There is no easy way to tell you this rangers." "Tell us what?" Adam continued. "Lerigot has returned to give me my freedom, I will soon return to my home planet to rejoin my own family. I realize this is difficult rangers, but the time has come to bid farewell." The current and former Rangers all look at Zordon in a collective state of shock. "We must hurry, circle please." Lerigot instructed. "Wait what about Tommy? He'd never forgive himself if he didn't get a chance to say goodbye. Kat says this, but as soon as she gets the last word out a streak of red light teleports into the Power Chamber. "Tommy, you made it!" Adam exclaimed. "Are you kidding, did you really think I was gonna miss this?" Tommy says. "I had already informed Tommy of our situation. But before I leave I have one final assignment for all of you. I'm glad the former rangers have also arrived for this occasion as they'll be helping the current rangers with this as well." Zordon started. "What's the final assignment you have for us Zordon?" Tommy inquired. "Rangers, I've seen you all go through trials and tribulations, but it is now the time for you to go out there and see what the rest of the world has to offer you as well. I knew a time would come where you all wouldn't be in Angel Grove forever. I didn't think it would be this soon but I am proud to watch you grow all these years. With that being said your final assignment from me will be to go out there and find your replacements as Power Rangers. I know this will not be an easy task but my replacement will also help guide you on this task. Lerigot you may begin." Zordon instructed. Lerigot then raises his wand and begins recanting a spell. "Goodbye rangers. Know that the power is always within you." At this moment the alarm goes off in the command center. "Ay Yai Yai Yai Yai, Zordon something is happening with the wormhole." Alpha exclaimed. "If we don't hurry we may have to stay maybe we'll be able to return home another time." Zordon explains. "You can't miss your chance to go home." Justin says, with the rest of the group in agreement. "Rangers observe the viewing globe, I'm afraid there is a more urgent problem that must be attended to." Zordon instructed. "It's Havoc and he's headed into Angel Grove!" Tanya exclaimed. Man that guy just won't quit, will he?" Tommy says. "We better head him off with the Zords." Adam instructed. "Right, SHIFT INTO TURBO!" Tommy called out.
"Mountain Blaster, Turbo Power!" Billy called, spreading his arms apart, giving off a glow between his hands, morphing into the Blue Ranger.
"Desert Thunder, Turbo Power!" Adam hollered, spreading his arms apart, giving off a glow between his hands, morphing into the Green Ranger.
"Dune Star, Turbo Power!" Tanya yelled, spreading her arms apart, giving off a glow between her hands, morphing into the Yellow Ranger.
"Wind Chaser, Turbo Power!" Kat cried, spreading her arms apart, giving off a glow between her hands, morphing into the Pink Ranger.
"Red Lightning, Turbo Power!" Tommy hollered, spreading his arms apart, giving off a glow between his hands, morphing into the Red Ranger.
Angel Grove Desert
Havoc is piloting five of his own zords. "You can't stop me you fools, NOT EVEN YOU OLIVER!" He said. "Oh yea well we've stopped worse!" Tommy said with confidence as he pilots the Red Lightning Zord. As he says this Billy drives past him with his Mountain Blaster Zord trying to get into formation to combine the rangers' individual zords. "Looking good Billy. Now let's show our strength." As Tommy says this, one of Havoc's zords speeds up behind him and clips the back of his zord with the forklift. "Whoa, um guys a little help?" Billy sees this behind him. "Tommy hold on! I'm on my way." Billy slams on his breaks hard and turns around going full speed at the zord giving chase to Tommy, t-boning it and destroying it on impact. Kat is piloting her Wind Chaser Zord, one of Havoc's zords is chasing her, she turns around and looks but then looks forward and sees that another of Havoc's zords coming at her, and fast. "OH! Uh ohhh... I gotta think fast!" She says.
The Power Chamber
"Ay Yai Yai! Zordon, the wormhole is closing!" Alpha exclaims. "Closing fast." Lerigot says. "Lerigot is right the wormhole is dissolving at an accelerated rate." Zordon informed. "Ohhhh! Hurry Rangers." Alpha yelled. "Alpha maybe we can help." Jason says stepping forward. "There must be some device accelerating the rate of the wormhole." Justin deduces. Rocky begins pressing buttons on the computer followed by Aisha. "We got it! The device is in downtown Angel Grove. Justin do you think you'd be able to shut off the device?" Aisha asked. "Yea Trini we have to go to Billy's garage, he'll have some tools there we can use." Justin informed. "Let's go Justin. The rest of you guys meet us there, it could be a trap and Divatox could have a monster there waiting for us." Trini informed. "Right lets go guys. "Jason commanded, that leader presence emerging for the first time in a while. The former rangers then teleport to downtown Angel Grove to do some recon.
Angel Grove Desert
As one of Havoc's zords clips Kat's Wind Chaser Zord and the other is headed full speed towards her, she thinks on the fly. "Ahhh! Wind Chaser split mode!" She yelled as she presses a button on the console of her zord. Her zord then splits in half exposing the arms of the turbo megazord, the zord that was headed full speed head in to Kat runs smack dab into the zord that was rear ending Kat, causing both zords to explode on impact. "Ohh so sorry!" Kat says with a hint of sarcasm as she continues to pilot her zord. "Alright a jump!" Billy says with excitement as he finds a big hill to jump over. "Here it goes!" He says as he makes the jump. "Aww man just like old times this is so cool." He continues. "Calm down Billy! Begin docking sequence!" Kat says pressing a button on the console of her zord. Her zord then splits into two and exposes the arms of the turbo megazord. They then drive up to Billy's Mountain Blaster Zord and attaches the arms to the body. Adam and Tanya drive past Justin and Kat with their Desert Thunder and Dune Star Zords and begin their docking sequence, forming the legs of the megazord and attaching to the bottom half of Billy's mountain blaster. Just as this is happening one of Havoc's zords try to send an electric blast to stop the docking sequence, to no avail. The megazord them rams into the last of the auto piloted zords, destroying it on impact. Tommy sees this as he prepares for final docking. "Alright guys good one, now it's my time." Havoc then cuts him off. "Going somewhere?" He says condescendingly. Ramming him into the wall of a mountain. Tommy then presses a button on the console of his zord and Red Lightning exposes the head of the Turbo Megazord. This distracts Havoc long enough to crash into a large boulder. Tommy then completes the final docking sequence jumping off a cliff of a mountain. "Initiate final docking sequence." Tommy says. "Let's do it?" He continues. "Initiate turbo megazord!" The rangers say in unison. Placing their turbo keys into their individual consoles. "Turbo Up!" They continue. The formation is complete as the megazord stands tall. "I'll give you this one power rangers, but this isn't over yet!" Havoc says as he teleports away. All the rangers cheer as they celebrate their victory.
The Power Chamber
The Rangers return to the command center and see Alpha frantically pressing buttons on the computer terminal. "Hey what's the matter Alpha?" Billy inquired. "Ay Yai Yai!" Alpha exclaimed. "Divatox has activated a device that has accelerated the closing of the wormhole. Jason and the others went to shut it down, but I fear they may need your help. We must leave right away. Words can't express the gifts you have given me and the people of earth we will miss you dearly." Lerigot then recants a spell and transports Zordon and Alpha through the wormhole. "Goodbye rangers, I miss you already. Ay Yai Yai Yai Yai!" "Goodbye Zordon. Goodbye Alpha." The Rangers say in unison. They didn't have time to be sad that their mentor had just left them before Tommy snapped them back to reality. "Guys our friends maybe in trouble we have to get downtown and shut down that device." Tommy commanded. "Lerigot guard the fort down for us." Tanya said jokingly. The Rangers then teleported away but not before Tommy calls a back to action.
Downtown Angel Grove
Jason, Zack, Rocky, Aisha and Kimberly are fighting Amphibitor, one of Divatox's monsters, Trini's deduction that Divatox was setting a trap was correct. Trini and Justin are trying to disable the device that is rapidly closing the wormhole. They are struggling as they no longer have ranger powers, but still are holding their own. "Ummm explain to me why we decided to retire as rangers again?" Aisha said talking to Kimberly as they tried to tag team Amphibitor, "I don't know, I thought I'd still be in shape seeing as how I've been keeping up with my gymnastics since I came from 2 years of olympic training." She says as she kicks him away, then Rocky and Jason threw a flurry of punches. Followed by Zack with a roundhouse kick which Amphibitor caught and threw him against the wall. "Man I should've kept up on my Hip Hop Kido when I was in Switzerland." Zack said as he groaned. Amphibitor stands over him raising a dagger as he's about to lay the finishing blow onto Zack, as he brings the dagger down, a call can be heard in the distance. "TURBO HAND BLASTERS!" Billy yells, shooting Amphibitor away from Zack. The rangers have arrived on the scene. "Hey guys I think the rangers can take it from here." Zack said. "You guys guard Justin and Trini in case some piranhatrons attack, we'll handle Amphibitor. "TURBO RAM CANNON! FIRE!" Tommy yells while Adam and Kat place one hand on each of his opposite shoulders, while Billy places a hand on Kat's left shoulder and Tanya places a hand on Adam's right shoulder. Tommy pulls the trigger on the ram and fires off. It's a direct hit as Amphibitor is disintegrated in front of the rangers. "Alright a direct hit." Tommy says. "Lets go make sure the others are okay." Adam says heading to the direction of their friends. They catch up to them, powering down in the process. "Are you guys okay?" He asked. "Yea we're fine, Justin's almost finished disabling the device." Rocky says. Justin is cutting wires on the implosion device and hears a beep. "There, finally finished, the device is powered off." Justin says. "Good Job Justin." Tommy says. "We'd better get back to the power chamber, we left Lerigot by himself." Adam said reminding the group. Alright let's get back." Jason says. They all press buttons on their communicator, and teleport back to the power chamber.
The Power Chamber
The wormhole opens up as Zordon and Alpha pass through it. "What happened? Are they alright?" Kat inquired. "They are home." Lerigot explained, lifting his wand in the air and teleporting out of the command center but not before giving a farewell to the people that helped him. "Goodbye friends." He said. "Until next time Zordon and Alpha." Jason said looking at the empty plasma tube where Zordon once appeared giving sage advice. Kat joins Jason under Zordon's empty plasma tube, then Tanya and Kimberly joins Kat tapping her on her shoulder, but only Tanya speaks. "Hey are you alright?" She asks concerned for her friend. "Yeah I'm just gonna miss them." She responds. "Now we're all alone." Kat says feeling really dejected. "Ay Yai Yai Yai Yai, You guys are a lot of things but alone isn't quite an adjective I'd use." Alpha 6 says coming from a hidden part of the power chamber. "Alpha?!" Tanya says surprised. "Correct! Alpha 6 the latest and greatest in the long line of Alphas." Alpha explained. It's at this point everybody in the command center perks up, all having warm friendly expressions on their faces. Justin, Billy and Trini all look surprised at Alpha 6's new design. "Wow King Lexian really upgraded his designs for you huh?" Justin says as he gets an elbow in the arm from Trini. "Ow! What did I do?" Justin says. "Don't be rude Justin, this Alpha is a new friend to us." Trini says. A bright light ends up flashing within the power chamber. The group of current and former rangers stand in a circle as their new mentor appears in a flash of white light in front of them. Ay Yai Yai Yai Yai, let's welcome your new mentor." Alpha instructed. "Who is she? She's beautiful." Kat asks. "She's Dimitria Of Inquiris. Ay Yai Yai she knows how to make an entrance." Alpha explains. "Do you know who we are?" Kat asks. "Do you know who you are?" Dimitria asked. "Yea we're the Power Rangers." Tommy says. "No you're much more than the Power Rangers, Tommy. I'm deducing that the questions you have the reasons your faces have these expressions." Dimitria continues. "Well Zordon told us he'd send us somebody to take his place but we really didn't know what do expect." Adam said. "Don't be surprised to learn that there are many unexpected events in your future rangers." Dimitria explains. She then makes her way to Zordon's plasma tube and enters it. "And now are you surprised even more?" She asks. The team stands there with smiles on their faces.
Divatox's Ship - Angel Grove Lake
Havoc is on the bridge with Porto and Rygog as Dimitria comes from her quarters. "No, the thorn thats in my side for the last 4 centuries is here, Dimitria is here." Divatox said irritated. "Not the Dimitria that keeps trying to convince you that you're her sister and you were kidnapped by Mama D." Havoc says. Divatox looks on conflicted but snaps back into reality. "She's not my sister, she's not my family. YOU are my family Havoc, MAMA D is my family. She's nothing and I won't stop until she is obliterated from reality!" Dimitria says actually making Havoc and her crew flinch a little. Dimitria turns and looks at her map. "Alright Dimitria, game on, this town ain't big enough for the both of us. So it looks like you'll have to be eliminated."
