How's it going, my Pokepeople?! The 3rd dragneel is back, bringing you an all new chapter of this ambitious fanfiction.

I know, I know. Everyone wanted this story to be out as fast as possible, but considering I'm now a full time worker, my writing time is limited. Still, I did promise myself to make a new chapter for the next year, so here we are. I hope you guys are still willing to stay with me.

For that, I thank you! Now let's answer some reviews!

Omniverse Nexus: Good guess with Riolu… but it actually isn't.

RHatch89: Thanks:)

UnsanMusho: Splitting up everyone gives them all a chance to develop. And the egg is not an Eevee.

BanRedfox: You ship Acid Riot too? My man! Trust me, this story will get dark later on.

Hamza9236: That's fine, man. You can look up any new Pokemon you might be confused about.

Asuki-The Infinite Archive: It isn't Riolu, but it is an interesting Pokemon. And those are some good recommendations for them.

GirlFish: He probably will if he gets an Eevee.

AbyssDragonslayer777: No to either of those.

Last time: The 1-A students all changed into new clothes as they prepared to go off on their journey. Professor Elm gave them some wise words before they all left in groups. As they battled against Pokemon, Mina was able to catch an injured Weedle while Tenya caught a rather rude Rookidee.

What kind of Pokemon will the teens catch this chapter? Let's find out…

'Shoto's group'

Things for team Todoroki have been… rather calming as of late. They did encounter some wild Pokemon, ranging from Weedle to Burmy and even a Pidgey or two, which were easily dealt with thanks to their Pokemon.

Currently, they were taking a short break near a sizable pond, letting their feet rest from all the walking they had done over the past few hours.

"Are you hungry, Fennekin?" Momo asked the small Fire-type that was lying on her lap.

"(I could go for a little snack)." Fennekin confessed with a smile. Remembering what the Pokedex said about Fennekin eating twigs, Momo looked around and noticed a few lying near a bush. Gathering them up, Momo went back to Fennekin and offered her one, which she took with a look of glee. "(Mmmm. Thank you)."

"I wonder how everyone's doing." Tsuyu admitted out loud while drinking from her water bottle. Froakie lied next to her leg, taking a small nap while basking in the warmth of the sun.

"I'm sure they're doing fine. Besides, with Midoriya and Bakugo, the others shouldn't need to worry about anything." Momo said before she noticed Shoto reading the trainer's guidebook Professor Elm gave them. "Is there anything interesting in there, Todoroki?"

"Yeah." Shoto replied before showing her the page he was on, which had the title *Pokemon Nature.* "This says the strength of a Pokemon can be changed depending on their nature. For example, a Pokemon with the Brave nature has more attack strength, but its speed is slower." The other two trainers couldn't help but be interested in Pokemon nature. Depending on the nature of their Pokemon, they could potentially gain a power boost in the future.

Lying on a nearby tree branch was Treecko, who had his arms behind his head as he enjoyed the sounds of nature.

However, his little moment of peace was interrupted when he heard something land on the edge of the branch, shaking it.

"(Alright. Who's the wise Mon)?" Treecko grunted as he lifted his head, opening his eyes to see who was disturbing him.

It was a small, avian Pokémon similar in appearance to a robin. It has a reddish-orange head with a triangular yellow mark on the back of each eye. Its body and wings are gray, and there are white tips on the wings. It has a long, black tail with a white V-shaped marking near the tip. The tail ends in two points and has two feathers sticking out at the base. Its legs, small beak, and eyes are black. The legs are thin and spindly, with two toes facing forward and one facing backward on each foot.

The small Pokemon noticed Treecko and smiled. "(Hi there! Would you like a tune)?" The Pokemon asked before it began to whistle, much to Treecko's chagrin.

"What's that?" Tsuyu questioned as she and the others looked at Treecko's branch, staring at the new Pokemon.

"Another flying Pokemon? What is it?" Momo asked before she took out her Pokedex to scan it.

"Fletchling, the Robin Pokemon. When this Pokémon gets excited, its body temperature increases sharply. If you touch a Fletchling with bare hands, you might get burned."

"Increase in temperature? It reminds me of you, Todoroki." Momo pointed out with a small, amused smile. Shoto didn't say anything, though he was mildly curious about the Fletchling.

"(Enough, already! This branch is taken)!" Fed up with Fletchling's tune, Treecko grabbed a hanging acorn and tossed it, hitting the Normal/Flying Pokemon in the head.

"(Ouch)!" Fletchling exclaimed before he turned to Treecko with a frown. "(Now you made me mad)!" Flying away from the branch, Fletchling dove towards Treecko with a glowing beak, via Peck. Acting quickly, Treecko hopped off the branch and swung onto another, making Fletchling miss the attack.

"(Where's all that bravado you had, punk)?" Treecko mocked while gesturing Fletchling to come after him.

"Treecko." Shoto spoke up, getting his Pokemon's attention while he had a serious look in his eyes. "We're catching this Fletchling."

Momo, Tsuyu and Fennekin were mildly surprised by this while Treecko gave a raised brow.

"(Don't talk like it'll be easy)!" Fletchling suddenly rocketed towards Treecko at surprising speed. Treecko could only gasp as Fletchling struck him clean in the face, making him stumble a bit before he regained his balance.

"(Okay. That smarts a bit)." Treecko confessed while wiping his cheek.

"Attack with Leafage!" Shoto commanded before Treecko began to glow green. He then swung his tail, sending a barrage of glowing leaves at Fletchling. However, much to their surprise, Fletchling dodged each and every one.

"(Oh my! That Fletchling is fast)." Fennekin admitted with a surprised look on her face. Fletchling then began to make a U-turn (not the actual move) and fly towards Treecko.

"Wait for it." Shoto ordered as Treecko looked back at him in surprise. "Believe me."

"(Whatever. Don't make me lose)." Treecko told him with a sigh while standing his ground. The two watched as Fletchling got closer and closer, ready to strike down Treecko.

"Move to the right now!" Shoto's words made Treecko widen his eyes before he jumped to the right, narrowly avoiding Fletchling's Peck.

"(What)?!" Fletchling gasped in shock, not expecting Treecko to have such timing.

"Pound!" Treecko smirked a bit as he pulled his tail back, slamming it hard into Fletchling's side. Fletchling let out a scream as he crashed on the ground with a thud. "Now's the time…" Reaching into his belt, Shoto took out an empty Pokeball before throwing it with his right hand. Fletchling could only watch as the Pokeball struck him, absorbing him inside before landing on the ground. Everyone watched in silence as the Pokeball began to shake, the anticipation was killing them.

After the third shake, the Pokeball let out a 'Ding' and stopped moving, indicating Shoto had captured Fletchling.

A smile grew on Shoto's face as he walked over to the Pokeball, picking it up. "Congratulations, Todokoki. Now you have a Flying Type with you." Momo told him with her own smile.

"And a pretty fast one at that. I thought Pidgey were fast, but you Fletchling is something else." Tsuyu confessed, though she was happy for her classmate regardless.

"(How are you feeling, Treecko)?" Fennekin asked the Hoenn Grass Starter, who crossed his arms.

"(I'm fine. He got lucky is all)." Treecko cooly told her, though his cheek did still mildly sting. He and Fennekin noticed Shoto walking up to them, looking at Treecko. "(What)?"

Shoto stared at Treecko for a few seconds before he kneeled down, putting a hand on the Grass Pokemon's head as he rubbed it. "You did a good job. Thank you." Treecko actually widened his eyes in shock, not expecting this kind of affection from the Quirked teen.

However, due to his pride, Treecko turned his head while scoffing. "(Y-Yeah yeah. Just knock it off)." Treecko told Shoto with an annoyed tone, despite not completely hating the head pat. The two females and Fire Starter noticed Treecko's expression before they giggled in amusement.

Maybe because of this battle, Treecko would warm up to Shoto… if only a little.

Froakie slowly began to walk up from his nap, stretching his arms while yawning. "(That was a good nap)." Froakie confessed before he noticed his trainer and the others a few feet away, seemingly laughing at Treecko's face. "(Did I miss something)?"

*Splash*

The Kalos Starter perked up when he heard something splash in the pond. Getting on all fours, Froakie hopped over to the pond and examined what was going on.

Tsuyu, having gotten over her laughter, saw her Pokemon looking at the pond with a curious gaze. "Froakie, what's wrong?" Tsuyu asked as she made her way back to Froakie.

*Splash*

"(BUBBLE SURPRISE)!" Something jumped out of the water and launched a barrage of bubbles towards Tsuyu. Acting on reflex, the frog-like girl quickly jumped to the left, causing the bubble barrage to fly by and strike a nearby bush.

"Asui!" Shoto called out as he and the others saw their friend being attacked. Tsuyu and Froakie both watched as the attacker went back to the pond before they poked their head up.

The attacker was a round, tadpole-like Pokémon with a tan, circular face. It has large, oval, black eyes; a wide mouth with down-turned corners; and black eyebrows in the shape of quarter notes. Its spherical body is black with no visible limbs. Instead, it has two black-and-blue ringed cheeks akin to half-spheres on either side of its head. It has a long, blue tail with a fan-like shape and a black spot at its base.

"(Awww. I didn't get anyone)?" The Pokemon asked with a mildly disappointed tone. She was sure her Bubble attack would've hit its mark. Tsuyu took this chance to take out her Pokedex while scanning the new Pokemon.

"Tympole, the Tadpole Pokemon. By vibrating its cheeks, it emits sound waves imperceptible to humans and warns others of danger."

"Oh my. A Pokemon that resembles a tadpole. And it's so cute." Momo admitted as she looked at Tympole.

"(Still, she shouldn't have attacked like that)." Fennekin admitted with a frown.

"(What's the big deal? Why attack my trainer)?" Froakie questioned Tympole with an accusing finger.

"(I wanted to see if my Bubble got stronger. Sorry for the scare)." Tympole apologized with a smile, as if trying to use her natural cuteness to her advantage.

Tsuyu tilted her head as she looked at Tympole. Judging by the way it was looking at her, Tympole seemed genuinely sorry for that surprise attack. And given how fast it was able to launch Bubble showed it had some potential.

"Froakie." Tsuyu spoke up, getting the attention of her partner Pokemon. "Let's catch this one."

Blinking in surprise, Froakie let out a small shrug before he hopped over, standing proudly in front of her. "(Gotcha. Time to show this little tadpole what we're made of)." Froakie told her with a serious tone. Shoto, Momo and their Starters took note of the stance and moved away to give the duo space.

"(Oh? We're fighting)?" Tympole asked before she smiled more confidently. "(Okay! Take this)!" Opening her mouth, Tympole launched another barrage of bubbles towards Froakie.

"Block it with your own Bubble!" Froakie hopped in the air and took a deep breath before launching his own Bubble attack. Both attacks struck, each popping the other's bubbles until they ended in a stalemate.

"(Wow. You can use Bubble too? Okay)..." Tympole jumped out of the pond before taking a deep breath, unleashing a loud scream. Froakie covered his ears as he was struck by Tympole's Echoed Voice, dealing some damage to him.

"Froakie, are you okay?" Tsuyu asked her partner, who stopped up while shaking his head to get rid of the echoes in his ears.

"(I'm fine. That was really loud)." Froakie grunted before he turned his attention back to Tympole. "(You're gonna pay for that)."

"Use Bubble again to get it out of the pond!" Tsuyu commanded while pointing at the pond. Froakie realized what she was planning and smirked a bit before he leapt in the air, unleashing another Bubble barrage.

"(Oh boy)!" Seeing the attack come towards her, Tympole quickly dove in the pond as Froakie's Bubble struck, small explosions erupted from the water. Due to the Bubble barrage striking the water, Tympole was forced to jump in the air with a panicked expression. "(This is bad! This is really bad)!"

"Pound!" Froakie's hand began to glow before he launched himself towards Tympole. Said Pokemon tried to launch another Bubble attack, though Froakie was just fast enough to slam his hand into Tympole's stomach, making her gasp before she crashed onto the ground.

"I see. Tsuyu forced Tympole out of the water so she could launch a close up attack and send it on land." Momo realized with a surprised tone. Shoto said nothing as he gave a small nod of approval for the strategy.

"(Do it, Tsuyu)!" Froakie shouted to his partner as Tympole began to flail on land.

"Pokeball, go!" Taking out a Pokeball, Tsuyu threw it in an arch towards Tympole, slamming it in the head before absorbing the Water-type inside. The Pokeball landed on the ground as it began to shake, showing Tympole's struggle to get out. Everyone watched as the Pokeball continued to shake before eventually stopping with a 'Ding.' Tsuyu let out a smile as Froakie went over to the ball, picking it up before offering it to his trainer. "Thank you, Froakie. You were great."

"(It was a decent fight. No biggie)." Froakie said nonchalantly, though he still liked the praise.

"Now we both have a new Pokemon." Shoto pointed out while showing his new Fletchling's Pokeball. He then turned towards Momo. "I'm sure you'll catch a Pokemon soon."

Although Momo did feel somewhat sad that she still only had Fennekin, hearing Shoto's words of encouragement did make her smile. "Right. Now that that's done, we should continue our journey. From what the Pokegear says, Cherrygrove City should be nearby."

Agreeing with what Momo said, the group gathered their things and continued on, with two new Pokemon added to their little family.

'Cherrygrove City'

Cherrygrove City, located west of Route 29, was a rather sizable city, though compared to Goldenrod, it was pretty small.

Still, just because it was small didn't mean it looked any less impressive. There were several, oddly similar houses, a few stores here and there, a beach with a few boats passing by, and a large abundance of flowers scattered around.

Team Izuku couldn't help but look in awe at the new city.

"Wow… it's so pretty." Ochaco was the first to speak, her brown eyes filled with wonder as she and the others saw a swarm of Beautifly fly with the wind.

"I agree. It reminds me somewhat of New Bark Town." Tenya admitted while fixing his glasses, a smile still donned on his face. "Though we shouldn't spend too long admiring the view."

"That's right. We still need to deliver the egg to the professor's contact." Izuku reminded them while glancing at his backpack briefly. So far, they hadn't run into any complications that would harm the egg, though they wanted to make sure it got to Elm's contact as soon as possible. "He said Mr. Pokemon lived past Cherrygrove City, so we should-"

"Excuse me?" The three heard a voice call out to them. Turning their heads, they saw an elderly man, wearing an olive green robe, dark pants and sandals walk up to them, his hands behind his back.

"Yes, sir? Can we help you?" Tenya asked with a curious tone. The old man analyzed the trio, almost as if he was sizing them up before he smiled.

"You three are rookie Trainers, aren't you?" The old man asked, making them blink their eyes in surprise. "I can tell by the way you were looking at everything. Don't worry, everyone was a rookie Trainer at one point. If you'd like, I can teach you a few things to help in your journey."

"Are you sure? We don't wanna waste your time." Ochaco told the old man politely, though he shook his head.

"Nonsense! Follow me!" Much to their shock, the old man suddenly began to run away, leaving them rather bewildered.

"... Did he just run away from us?" Izuku couldn't help but ask while blinking in confusion. Sure, he saw Gran Torino hop off walls and fight villains, but seeing an old man just run like an excited child was new. The old man then ran back to the group, giving an apologetic smile.

"Oh… I'm sorry. I just love running." The old man replied sheepishly before he motioned the trio to follow him at a steady pace. The group then stopped in front of a building with a red roof and a white Pokeball symbol on top of it. "This here is the Pokemon Center, which can be found in all the Cities in Johto. You can go inside and heal your Pokemon for free. There's also lodging inside for trainers in case they need a place to sleep."

"We were also told the PC is located inside as well. Is that true?" Tenya asked the old man, who nodded in response.

"That's right. Just go to the front desk and turn right. Follow me." The old man then began to lead the group to the left, eventually stopping in front of a one-story building with a blue roof and a Pokeball symbol on the top of it. "And this here is the PokeMart. You can buy all the things you need for your journey: Pokeballs, Potions, Pokemon food, food for yourselves, etc. As long as you pay in Pokedollars."

The old man then began to lead the trio away from the PokeMart and gestured to the large beach, where some people and their Pokemon could be seen enjoying the day.

"And finally, that is the sea, as you can see." The old man joked. "You can catch certain Water Pokemon out here, whether by fishing or by encountering them in the sea. Take the time to enjoy the beach while you're here or smell the flowers. It isn't called the City of Fragrant Flowers for nothing."

"We appreciate you taking the time to show us around, sir!" Tenya thanked the old man with a bow before a thought popped up. "Though, if you wouldn't mind, where would we find the next Route?"

"Oh! I almost forgot!" The old man confessed with a small laugh before he pointed to the direction of the PokeMart they had just been to. "If you were to walk past the PokeMart and turn right, you will be able to find Route 30. Funny you ask cause a group of rookie Trainers asked the same thing half an hour ago."

Izuku, Ochaco and Tenya looked at each other, believing the group the old man was referring to were their classmates. Judging by the time they arrived in Cherrygrove, there was a possibility that it was Bakugo's group since they left faster than the others.

"Well, I have to get back home for supper. Take care of yourselves and be the best Trainers you can be." The old man gave some words of encouragement before he ran off once again, earning sweatdrops from the trio.

"I hope he doesn't break anything." Ochaco said with a nervous chuckle, slightly worried that the old man was pushing himself. A thought then occurred to Ochaco. "Wait, before we keep going, shouldn't we go to the Pokemon Center?"

"You're correct, Uraraka! If we're to continue our journey, we must ensure that our Pokemon's health takes priority!" Tenya declared, agreeing with Ochaco's question. "Come, we must go and heal our Pokemon." Agreeing with Tenya, Izuku and Ochaco began to walk with him back to the Pokemon Center, entering the red roofed building.

The interior of the Pokemon Center looked much similar to the hospitals back home: several benches were placed around for Trainers and their Pokemon to sit at, a blue PC stood next to the main desk, two sets of escalators were located on each side of the building, mostly likely leading to the lodging, and of course the healing station was located in the middle of all of. Nurse Joy was seen giving a Trainer his Pokeballs back before giving him a bow.

"Wow. I remember seeing images of a Pokemon Center online, but seeing it in person is amazing." Izuku couldn't help but admit with slight awe, feeling like a kid while examining the Pokemon Center.

"Come. We should heal our Pokemon while there's time." Tenya reminded them as the trio made their way towards the desk. Nurse Joy noticed their arrival and gave them a pleasant smile.

"Welcome to the Pokemon Center. Would you like me to heal your Pokemon?" Nurse Joy asked them politely.

"Yes, madam. Is it possible for you to heal all our Pokemon given how we carry less than six?" Tenya asked her while he showed her Torchic and Rookidee's Pokeballs. Izuku did the same with Rowlet's Pokeball while Ochaco took out Popplio's.

Nurse Joy looked at the Pokeballs before nodding. "Of course. Give me just a few minutes." She then placed the four Pokeballs into a six Pokeball tray before carrying them to a rather advanced device. Placing the Pokeballs inside the machine, Nurse Joy typed a few commands into the console before it came to life. The monitor behind the nurse turned on, showing images of the Pokemon inside the Pokeballs: Rowlet, Torchic, Rookidee and Popplio. Much to Izuku and the other's surprise, a melody placed in the background before the machine turned off, indicating that it had finished. Nurse Joy grabbed the Pokeballs before placing them in front of their respective Trainers. "There you go. All your Pokemon have been fully healed." The trio then received their Pokeballs before Nurse Joy gave them a bow. "We hope to see you again soon."

"Was that a song playing on the screen?" Ochaco asked, wondering where the music came from.

"Regardless, we have successfully healed our Pokemon." Tenya then checked his phone and saw it was a bit around 3, which meant they still had time to explore. "Since there is still daylight, we should have time to find Mr. Pokemon's house and deliver the egg before going to bed."

"Oh? The three of you are delivering something to Mr. Pokemon?" Nurse Joy questioned with a tone of interest.

"That's right." Izuku took off his backpack before he took out the egg incubator, showing her the egg inside. "Professor Elm told us to deliver this egg to Mr. Pokemon's house. Actually, would you mind examining this egg to see if it's in good condition?" It wasn't like Izuku did anything to harm the egg, but a professional's opinion would go a long way.

"Of course." Izuku placed the incubator on the desk as Nurse Joy began examining the egg. Narrowing her eyes, Nurse Joy moved the incubator around so she could see all the angles of the egg before eventually smiling. "Well, from what I see, the egg is in great condition. You've been taking really good care of it."

"O-Oh. Thank you." Izuku thanks the nurse bashfully while scratching the back of his head. "I was worried something was wrong."

"I understand. While I don't think the egg will hatch any time soon, I think if you keep traveling with it, it'll eventually hatch into a new Pokemon." Nurse Joy told him with a kind tone. "Now, as for Mr. Pokemon, his house isn't too far from Cherrygrove City. If you go through Route 30, you'll be able to find his house on the right."

"Thank you so much, nurse." Tenya, Ochaco and Izuku gave the nurse a bow before the latter took back the egg incubator, putting it safely into his bag as they all left the Pokemon Center.

'Route 30, Bakugo's group'

Team Bakugo was making some good time given how they pushed through the wild Pokemon in the previous Route. After taking a pit stop in Cherrygrove City, the group were now making their way through Route 30, which had a lot more trees and hills than Route 29.

"Sheesh. I guess Route 29 was the rookie route. Look at this." Mina mildly complained as she ducked under another tree bunch, brushing off some random leaves that had fallen on her hair.

"It's not that bad. Kinda reminds me of when we trained with the Wild Wild Pussycats." Kirishima pointed out with a nostalgic grin, recalling how his class had to fight rock golems Pixie-Bob made with her Quirk. "How're you holding up, Bakugo?"

"This is nothing. Let's keep moving. Deku and Icy Hot are probably getting closer. And I wanna fight the Gym Leader first." Bakugo called out from the front, grinning at the thought of battling someone strong. Soon, they were able to move away from the trees and into a decently open grassy area.

"Hey you!" The trio stopped when they heard a voice next to them. Turning their heads, they saw a young boy wearing a bug catcher's outfit running up to them, a butterfly net in hand. He grinned while pointing a finger at Bakugo. "I challenge you to a Pokemon battle!"

"Huh?" Bakugo raised a brow at the kid, wondering why the hell he'd challenge him. "Beat it, kid."

"I said I challenge you! And according to the Trainer's guidebook, if two trainers lock eyes, then they have to battle!" The bug catcher told Bakugo with a frown. Kirishima took out the guidebook and skidded the pages before finding what he needed.

"He's actually right, Bakugo. It says if you don't battle, you have to fork over some Pokedollars." Kirishima informed him with a frown, given how neither he nor the others had any Pokedollars on them at the moment.

Hearing the condition of refusing a challenge, Bakugo began to weigh his options. While the kid didn't look like much of a threat, battling a Pokemon that was trained might be beneficial for Litten and getting some money was an added bonus.

So with a smirk, Bakugo turned his body to fully face the kid, taking out a Pokeball. "Alright, then. Bring it on, kid! Litten!" He threw the Pokeball in the air, allowing it to release the Alolan Starter.

"(Huh. So we're fighting a kid this time? Okay then)." Litten said with a mild shrug.

"Go get them, Bidoof!" The bug catcher threw out his own Pokeball, allowing his Pokemon to come out. It was a brown, rodent-like Pokémon with four short legs. It has a short, dark brown snout and a small, red nose. Cream-colored markings cover its underside and surround its face. Round tufts of fur form its tail. Similar tufts line the bottom of its face and two singular ones form its ears. Its black paws have three toes with some webbing between them. Protruding from it's upper jaw are large incisors, which it uses for gnawing on wood and rocks.

"(... I like wood)." The Pokemon said rather bluntly, getting a raised brow from Litten.

"(Okay, sure)..." Litten answered with a somewhat disturbed tone. Bakugo took the chance to scan the new Pokemon.

"Bidoof, the Plump Mouse Pokemon. It lives in groups by the water. It chews up boulders and trees around its nest with its incisors."

"You got this, Bakugo! Litten!" Kirishima cheered with a clenched fist. Mina took the chance to act as the referee to the battle.

"The battle between Bakugo and the Bug Catcher will now begin!" Mina called out. "Both sides will only use one Pokemon each and the battle is over when one Pokemon is unable to battle." Bakugo and the Bug Catcher both nodded in understanding. "And… BEGIN!"

"Attack with Tackle!" The Bug Catcher ordered as Bidoof began to run towards Litten.

"Dodge and use Ember!" Litten buckled his leg before he leapt to the side, dodging Bidoof's Tackle. Opening his mouth, Litten launched a barrage of small embers at the opponent, pelting them with his flames.

"(Ouch. I don't like fire)." Bidoof exclaimed in pain, despite using a blank tone.

"Not bad. You've been practicing." The Bug Catcher confessed before he smiled confidently. "But we aren't gonna stop! Bidoof, Defense Curl!" Bidoof rolled into a ball, his defense increasing. "Now, use Growl!" Opening his mouth, Bidoof let out a growl, lowering Litten's attack power.

'So, he's trying to bulk up his defense while lowering Litten's attack power. Not bad for a kid.' Bakugo thought with a mildly impressed look. Still, that didn't mean he was gonna let a little kid beat him! "Litten, Growl!"

"(Let's see how you like losing attack power)!" Litten let out his own roar, decreasing the attack power of Bidoof.

"Tackle!"

"Use Scratch!" Both Pokemon charged at one another, though Litten's claws were glowing to indicate his attack. Bidoof slammed his head into Litten's stomach, making him groan in pain. Though he felt the force of the attack, Litten powered through and slashed Bidoof in the face, causing him to flinch around. "Ember, now!"

"(Time to light it up)!" Due to the close proximity, Litten was able to fire a close up Ember attack onto Bidoof, causing him to scream before falling on his back.

"Bidoof!" The Bug Catcher gasped as he stared at his Bidoof, whose eyes were now swirls, showing that it had fainted.

"Bidoof is unable to battle! Litten wins and the victory goes to Bakugo!" Mina declared with a smile.

"Nice work, you two! That was some awesome battling!" Kirishima cheered with a big grin. Bakugo took in the praise, though he knew when to give credit where credit was due.

He walked over to Litten and kneeled down, scratching the top of his head. "Good work, Litten." Bakugo told his Pokemon, who shrugged uncaringly.

"(Sure, sure. If it's for experience, then I'll do i-ahhhhh)..." Litten let out a shudder as Bakugo scratched behind his ear, hitting his sweet spot.

"Awww. I thought we had it." The Bug Catcher whined as he returned Bidoof in its Pokeball, looking at it with a frown. Still, he lost fair and square and it looked like Bakugo was in sync with his Litten. Taking out some prize money, the Bug Catcher walked over to Bakugo and offered it to him. "Here's your prize money."

Bakugo simply took the money and examined it before pocketing it. If this was before his entry into U.A., he would have probably insulted the kid for sucking. But with all he had gone through…

"You weren't bad." Bakugo suddenly said, getting the kid to look at him in surprise. "Just don't try rushing into fights. Maybe teach your Bidoof a long-range attack or a stronger physical one than Tackle. That way, it won't be beaten so easily."

"Really? Well, Bidoof and Bibarel can learn Water Gun and my Bidoof's level is decent… Okay!" The Bug Catcher clenched his fist while adopting a determined smile. "I'll get stronger so the next time we fight, I'll win!"

"Tch, yeah right." Bakugo scoffed, though he did have a small smirk on his mouth. "Just know that I'm gonna be the next Pokemon Champion, so there's no way I'm gonna lose. Let's go Kirishima, Raccoon Eyes." Returning Litten into his Pokeball, Bakugo began to walk away casually, unaware of the looks his classmates had.

"... Did Bakugo actually say something NICE?!" Mina asked with wide eyes. It felt so out of character to see Katsuki 'I'LL MURDER YOU' Bakugo act decently around someone, much less a kid.

Kirishima, on the other hand, smiled proudly. "He's still rough around the edges, but I can tell he's gotten better." He told her before running off to catch up to Bakugo. Shaking away her shock, Mina shrugged before she caught up with the others.

The trio made some headway through the forest of Route 30, occasionally battling some wild Pokemon, before they stopped in front of a small house.

"Does everyone's house around here look the damn same?" Bakugo questioned, recalling similarly designed houses in Cherrygrove City.

"Now that you mention it… it does look the same." Kirishima scratched the back of his head, wondering just why so many houses in Johto looked alike. Even the buildings back home had some level of diversity. As he looked around, the Hardening-Quirk user noticed something in the top of a small nearby tree. "Huh?"

"What's up?" Mina asked her friend as he walked up to the tree, looking at a rather sizable round black fruit that was hanging off it. "That's one freaky apple."

"I don't think that's an apple. Maybe it's one of those berries the professor told us about. But look at the size of it." Curious about the fruit, Kirishima jumped and grabbed it, plucking it off the stem. He then began examining it to see if it was rotten or damaged, though he saw nothing of the sort. "Well, I am kinda hungry. Bottom's up." Kirishima opened his mouth to take a bite out of the fruit…

"WAIT!" Just as his teeth were about to make contact, someone called out to him, causing him to freeze in place. The trio saw an older man run up to them, his arm extended. "Don't eat that Apricorn!"

"Apricorn?" Bakugo, Mina and Kirishima all asked in unison. The man took a few deep breaths before straightening himself out.

"That's right." The man said before pointing to the Apricorn Kirishima was holding. "What you're holding is an Apricorn, a special fruit that is used to make Pokeballs."

"Fruit making Pokeballs? The hell are you talking about?" Bakugo asked with a raised brow, mildly curious about what the man said. Noticing the looks of confusion on their faces, the man smiled.

"I see. You three are new trainers, correct?" The man asked, getting nods from the trio. "Well, you're probably tired." He then pointed to the nearby house. "Come inside. I'll make you some tea and explain more about Apricorns."

Though they were a bit caught off guard by the man's offer, they felt no malice intentions from him and opted to accept. Soon, the man and the trainers all entered his house, with Bakugo and the others sitting on his couch. The man took the liberty of brewing some tea before bringing it to the small coffee table, pouring the warm liquid into three teacups. Sitting on the other side of the table, the man opened a hand towards Kirishima. "First, can I see that Apricorn you picked?"

"Oh. Sure thing." Kirishima offered him the Apricorn, allowing the man to analyze it before nodding.

"Ahhh. You picked a nice one, son." The man admitted with a smile before he looked at the trio. "As for what I said: Apricorns are used to make Pokeballs, though some are capable of making unique ones with different properties. They hollow the Apricorn to act as a shell before installing the software so a new Pokeball is made."

"No way! That's so cool!" Mina exclaimed with wide eyes, not expecting something like an Apricorn to be used for a Pokeball. "Can you make one for us?"

"Oh, I'm not a Pokeball maker." The man revealed with a sheepish smile, making them all sweatdrop. "But, I do know a person who uses Apricorn to make Pokeballs. His name is Kurt and he's known as a Pokeball Expert. If you wanna find him, he lives in Azalea Town. Bring him some Apricorns and he might be able to make you a new Pokeball." Realizing what they might need, the man excused himself before walking to a small chest next to his kitchen. Opening it, he pulled out three small containers before walking back to the trainers. "As a token for listening to my little explanation, I'd like to give you three an Apricorn Box each. Use these to carry as many Apricorns as you can until you reach Azalea Town." The three took the Apricorn Boxes before somehow fitting them into their bags. "And just as an added bonus…" He took out a pink and blue Apricorn. "Take one each. You never know what kind of Pokeball these Apricorn will make."

"You guys can take those. I already got mine." Kirishima told his friends while grinning at his black Apricorn.

"Oh! I call pink!" Mina quickly took the pink Apricorn, which made sense since given how much she loved the color. Bakugo shrugged and took the blue Apricorn.

"Before you leave, take some time to enjoy the tea. I'm sure you're all tired from traveling." The man said with a smile.

Seeing no reason to refuse a chance to rest, team Bakugo opted to stay a little longer.

'With team Midoriya'

Thanks to their brief stop in Cherrygrove City, Izuku's group were able to battle through the wild Pokemon of Route 30, as well as the trainers that were spread throughout. They agreed that they would each battle a trainer to both gain experience for their Pokemon and to gather funds for the PokeMart.

"That was close." Ochaco sighed while stretching her arms. "I was worried that guy's Nidoran was gonna beat Popplio."

"Yes. He was rather skilled based on the way he incorporated Poison Sting and Peck. Still, you were able to win, Uraraka. You should feel proud." Tenya reassured his friend, getting a smile from her.

"I was lucky Rowlet's a Flying type. Otherwise, that Spinarak would've been trouble." Izuku sighed, recalling his recent Pokemon battle. This Pokemon Scout used a Spinarak that was surprisingly agile, using String Shot and Poison Sting. It was only thanks to Rowlet's flying abilities that he was able to gain an advantage. "Still, I'm glad we're gaining experience for everyone. Are we close to Mr. Pokemon's house?"

"From what Nurse Joy told us, his house should be near the corner of the forest." Tenya checked the map on his Pokegear once again, nodding as he saw that they were indeed close to the end of the forest for Route 30. "We must be cautious. There may still be Pokemon we can encou-" However, the moment Izuku and Ochaco walked through the tall grass, they had both encountered two new Pokemon.

The first was a small avian Pokémon with a blue body. A large white plume of feathers covers its head and three tail feathers extend from its lower back. The feathery ruff extends down past its neck, covering the upper third of its body. Its face is blue with five pointed tips, resembling a mask and crown in contrast to the white feathers surrounding it. Extending from its forehead is a large feather, which is red on the lower half and white on the upper half. The split between the two colors on the feather resembles a zigzag pattern. Its beak is short and wide, with large eyes on either side. Each eye has a thick black iris with a small white pupil. Its yellow legs and feet are large in comparison to the body. Each foot has four digits: one backwards, and three forwards.

The second was a small, bipedal, rabbit-like Pokémon with brown ears, though the left ear was curled up. It has two types of fur covering its body: a light tan fleece that covers much of its lower body, feet, and the tips of its ears; and a smooth, chocolate colored pelt on the upper half of its body. It has a small, triangular pink nose; pink paw pads on the undersides of its feet; and small tan spots above its eyes. It has a small brown puff of a tail.

"(Huh. Three more humans)." The bird Pokemon said with a head tilt.

"(That female human's cheeks are pink. Is she okay)?" The rabbit Pokemon asked curiously.

"Oh my gosh! They're so cute!" Ochaco cooed while holding her cheeks, captivated by how adorable the two new Pokemon were. Izuku and Tenya took the chance to scan the new Pokemon with their Pokedexes.

"Rufflet, the Eaglet Pokemon. They will challenge anything, even strong opponents, without fear. Their frequent fights help them become stronger."

"Buneary, the Rabbit Pokemon. Its arms and legs are weak, but when it rolls its ears up tight and then unleashes them with its full force, it can smash boulders to dust."

"Smash boulders? So much strength from such a small Pokemon." Tenya confessed with a surprised look, not expecting such an entry from a cute Pokemon like Buneary.

"Should we take them on, Deku?" Ochaco asked as she prepared to take out Popplio's Pokeball.

*Grrr*

Before she or Izuku could take out their Pokemon, both Rufflet and Buneary's stomachs began to growl, making the two Pokemon frown. "(I'm so hungry)." Buneary whined while rubbing her tummy.

"(And there aren't any berries nearby)." Rufflet added with a sad expression.

"They look hungry." Izuku pointed out, feeling sympathetic for the two wild Pokemon. While he and Ochaco were planning on battling Rufflet and Buneary, attacking them while they were hungry felt wrong. Kneeling down, Izuku took out his backpack and opened it, looking through its contents. "Let's see… no… no… ahh." Izuku then pulled out a small package with square-shaped crackers he had packed before leaving New Bark Town. Opening the wrapper, Izuku took out two crackers, offering one to Ochaco. "Here, Uraraka. Give this to Buneary."

"Good thinking." Smiling at her friend/crush's kindness, Ochaco took the cracker and kneeled down, offering it to Buneary. "Here. It's food."

"You can eat it, Rufflet." Izuku showed the Normal/Flying Pokemon the cracker, hoping it would take it. Both Rufflet and Buneary looked at each other, wondering if it was some kind of trick to get the jump on them. However, from the way the humans were looking at them, they didn't seem like bad people.

Taking the chance, Rufflet flew over to Izuku, stopping just in front of the cracker. Buneary hopped over to Ochaco, staring at her with curious eyes. Opening his mouth, Rufflet took a chunk of the cracker, chewing on it.

"(How is it)?" Buneary asked her fellow Pokemon. He chewed on the cracker a bit before swallowing, giving a satisfied look.

"(Not bad. It isn't a berry, but it's edible)." Rufflet confessed before he began eating the rest of the cracker from Izuku's hand, earning a smile from the hero in training. Trusting Rufflet's word, Buneary took the cracker from Ochaco and bit it, surprised by the salty flavor.

"Good, huh?" Ochaco asked Buneary, who happily nodded. She then reached out and scratched the back of Buneary's right ear, causing her left ear to shoot up in surprise.

"(Ohhhh. Right there. Right there)!" Bunearby told her while stomping the ground.

"That was very kind of both of you." Tenya complimented his friends. "Like true heroes, you decided to help your opponents rather than battle them."

"It just wouldn't feel right if they were hungry." Izuku replied as he stood up. Rufflet began to fly around Izuku, much to his curiosity. "He seems happy." Wondering what he should do, Izuku extended his right arm, only for Rufflet to land on it while gently holding on, trying his best not to hurt the human. "Wow." Smiling, Izuku began to scratch the bottom of Rufflet's chin, much to the Pokemon's joy.

"Your ears are so soft." Ochaco giggled at how happy Buneary was acting. She seemed like a cute Pokemon and from what the Pokedex said, a strong one at that. Deciding to push her luck, Ochaco took out an empty Pokeball and showed it to Buneary. "Buneary, is it okay if I catch you?"

Izuku and Tenya were both mildly surprised by Ochaco's question, though given how she acted towards Buneary, it made sense she'd wanna catch it. As for Buneary, she didn't see any problem with the offer, especially if that meant she'd get food and ear scratches.

Seeing the nod come from Buneary, Ochaco gently tapped her head with the Pokeball, causing it to absorb her and automatically let out a 'Ding.'

"Alright! I caught a Buneary!" Ochaco cheered with a small hop of her own. Not only did she catch a new cute Pokemon, but she did it without a battle!

"Good job, Uraraka." Izuku congratulated her before he turned back to Rufflet, who looked at him curiously. "So, Rufflet? Can I catch you? I promise I'll take care of you and train you to be the best Pokemon you can be."

"(The best I can be)?" Rufflet couldn't help but be taken back by the human's offer. Yes, he wanted to grow as strong as his flock, though ever since he left the nest, growing strong had been a challenge. But with this human, maybe there was a way to bring out more of his potential if he went with him.

Not seeing any issue with it, Rufflet gave Izuku a nod, making him smile. "I promise we'll be a strong team." Taking out his own Pokeball, Izuku tapped it on Rufflet's head, allowing it to absorb the Normal/Flying type. Like with Buneary, the Pokeball didn't shake and let out a 'Ding.' "Wow… I caught a Rufflet!"

Tenya couldn't help but smile happily for his two friends, though given how late it was getting, he knew they needed to move on. "As happy as I am for the two of you, we should continue onward to Mr. Pokemon's house. It's almost evening."

"You're right! We should get going." Ochaco gasped in realization before she and Izuku put away their new Pokemon, continuing their trek through Route 30.

Luckily, they didn't need to walk any further as they caught sight of a two story house near the end of the forest. The trio walked up to the house before they checked the mailbox, which had the words "Mr. Pokemon" on it.

"It seems we finally made it. I'll knock." Tenya volunteered as he walked up to the door, knocking on it three times. The group waited patiently for the owner of the house to answer them. Soon, the door opened up, revealing a large elderly man wearing a brown suit, topped with a matching colored hat.

"Yes? Can I help you?" The elderly man asked curiously.

"Pardon the intrusion, sir. My name is Tenya Iida and with me are my classmates, Izuku Midoriya and Ochaco Uraraka." Tenya introduced everyone with a professional tone before he and the others bowed in respect. "We were sent by Professor Elm to deliver a Pokemon egg to Mr. Pokemon. Is that you by any chance?"

The elderly man widened his eyes a bit before he suddenly began to laugh, much to everyone's surprise. "I was wondering when the egg would arrive. Elm really knows how to keep a man waiting." The elderly man said before he gave the trio a smile. "You're right. I am Mr. Pokemon. It's a pleasure to finally meet you three."

"Wait? Were you expecting us?" Izuku asked in confusion.

"Of course! Elm emailed me that three new trainers were going to come by my house yesterday, so I was just waiting for the three of you." Mr. Pokemon stepped aside and motioned to the inside of his house. "Please, come in. There's coffee and treats on the table. You're all probably exhausted." The three accepted his invitation and entered Mr. Pokemon's home, which gave a very warm atmosphere to them.

"Ahhh. It seems we have more company." A new voice called out from the coffee table. Sitting on one of the armchairs inside the house was a man with lightly tanned skin, gray hair with one side sticking out, a red shirt, tan pants, dark shoes and a white lab coat.

"Wait… I know you." Izuku said while looking at the new man, much to the confusion of his classmates. Taking out his phone, Izuku began scrolling through some of his saved web pages before his eyes caught a certain picture, making his eyes widen in shock. "Y-Y-You… Y-Y-You're…"

"Deku, what's wrong?" Ochaco asked with a concerned tone.

"It seems you have another fan, professor." Mr. Pokemon told his colleague with an amused smile. "Allow me to introduce my colleague." The colleague stood up before he walked up to the trio, his hands behind his back.

"I am Samuel Oak, or Professor Oak as everyone knows me by." The newly revealed Professor Oak explained to them with a kind smile. At that moment, Ochaco's eyes widened to the size of dinner plates as Tenya's mouth was agape.

"PROFESSOR OAK?! AS IN THE PROFESSOR OF POKEMON RESEARCH?!" Tenya exclaimed in an uncharacteristic manner, completely caught off guard by the sudden appearance of Kanto's resident Pokemon Professor.

"Oh my. It seems I have some fans." Professor Oak admitted with a small laugh. "Well, it's an honor to meet new trainers, especially ones Professor Elm helped guide. How is he, by the way?"

"Ummm… Ummm… h-h-he's great." Izuku stuttered, trying and failing to keep his composure. Ochaco herself was still bug eyed, unable to say a word. "W-Wait… OH! The egg!"

"Ahh, yes. The egg Professor Elm had you send to me. May I see it?" Mr. Pokemon asked politely as the students went to sit on the couch. Professor Oak and Mr. Pokemon chose to sit on the pair of armchairs set across from them. Opening his backpack, Izuku took out the egg incubator, placing it on the coffee table for all to examine.

"Interesting. I've never seen this color scheme before." Professor Oak confessed, rubbing his chin as he and Mr. Pokemon looked over the egg. "However, I can tell you've made some progress with the egg. You should be proud."

"I agree. Many trainers would worry about the condition of their eggs, though from what I see, you've taken considerable care. For that, I thank you." Mr. Pokemon told Izuku with a gentle smile.

"So… do you know what kind of Pokemon is inside?" Ochaco asked, finally getting over her shock.

"Unfortunately, even I don't know." Professor Oak said, much to her disappointment. However, this didn't stop Professor Oak from smiling. "Still, I believe not knowing is the best part about Pokemon breeding. Perhaps a Dragon-type will hatch, or perhaps a Normal-type. Any Pokemon who hatches from this egg will be greeted to our world and it will be our responsibility to raise them to their fullest potential. It's much like how heroes function with their Quirks, correct?" The trio looked at Oak in surprise, making him chuckle. "Just because I study Pokemon doesn't mean Quirks have eluded me. In fact, I'm currently writing a thesis about Quirks and Pokemon so that perhaps one day, Pokemon may venture outside of the islands."

Izuku, Ochaco and Tenya genuinely wished that would happen. Even from the brief time they had spent as Pokemon trainers, they got to know their Starter Pokemon, as well as encountering the wild Pokemon of Route 29 and 30.

Still… despite wanting to see heroes battling alongside Pokemon, there was also the fear of Pokemon trafficking, as well as villains forcing Pokemon to fight for them. Just the idea of Rowlet, Popplio and Torchic being thrown into cages to be sold off sent a chill down their spines.

"Oh dear. I suppose the mood did drop, didn't it?" Professor Oak asked, noticing the troubled look on the teenagers' faces. Coughing in his hand to gain their attention, Professor Oak continued. "Now, if you three wouldn't mind, may I see your Starter Pokemon?"

"Of course, professor. Torchic, come out!"

"Rowlet, I choose you!"

"Come and say hi, Popplio!" The trio then threw their Pokeballs in the air, releasing their Starter Pokemon as they landed on the table.

"(Hello)!" Popplio greeted with a happy tone.

"(Are we going to battle)?" Torchic asked, looking at his surroundings. Rowlet looked bored until his nose caught the scent of the cookies on the table.

"(FOOD)!" Rowlet exclaimed before he pounced on the plate of cookies, devouring each one in fast pace.

"My, it seems someone has an appetite." Mr. Pokemon pointed out with a laugh.

"Rowlet, no! That's for everyone!" Izuku reached out and pulled his Pokemon off the plate, though it was too late as all the cookies were eaten.

"(Ahhh… so good)." Rowlet sighed happily in Izuku's arms, making his trainer sigh.

"I see… interesting…" Professor Oak looked at Torchic, then Popplio, and finally, Rowlet, a proud smile on his face. "The three of you have taken good care of your Pokemon in a short time, haven't you? I can see from their expressions."

"Why thank you, professor! We strive to show utmost respect for all Pokemon. Otherwise, it would bring shame to U.A." Tenya declared proudly, with Torchic copying his movements.

"(He's correct. I never once felt dissatisfied while traveling with Tenya)!" Torchic blurted out with a determined look.

"Plus, getting to be with Pokemon's been great so far." Ochaco opened her arms, allowing Popplio to move over and jump into them. "Popplio's silly, but I'd never trade her for anything."

"(Awww. I like you too, Ochaco)!" Popplio returned Ochaco's embrace, getting a giggle from her trainer. Rowlet took this chance to fly out of Izuku's arms and on top of his head.

"Rowlet seems to like my head a lot. Maybe because of the color." Izuku admitted with a smile as he reached out and scratched Rowlet's side, much to the Grass/Flying Pokemon's joy. Mr. Pokemon and Professor Oak both smiled genuinely at the display of affection the three trainers were giving their Pokemon.

"I can see why Professor Elm entrusted you with the egg." Mr. Pokemon spoke up before he picked up the incubator, staring at the egg. "I was willing to take the egg back, but now…" He then looked over to Izuku, who noticed his gaze. "Midoriya, would you be willing to take this egg with you on your journey?"

"M-Me?!" Izuku pointed to himself to clarify what Mr. Pokemon was saying.

"That's right. A Pokemon egg will hatch much faster while traveling and a Pokemon trainer would help it grow stronger. From what I've seen of the bond between you and Rowlet, I believe you are the best candidate for this." Mr. Pokemon explained before offering Izuku the egg. "I'm sure Professor Elm would agree with me. Will you take this egg as your own?"

Izuku felt rather reluctant to take the egg. After all, he and his friends volunteered to bring it to Mr. Pokemon to leave it in his care. So being offered said egg to care of it like it was his own was something he wasn't expecting.

Feeling a small tug on his hair, Izuku looked up and saw Rowlet giving him a look. "(Take the egg. I know you can take care of it)." Rowlet told his human partner.

"Rowlet…" Izuku was surprised to see Rowlet trying to convince him to take the egg, even without saying those exact words. Turning to his friends, Izuku saw Tenya and Ochaco both giving him smiles of encouragement, with Torchic and Popplio doing the same. It seemed like everyone agreed that Izuku Midoriya was the best candidate for raising a Pokemon egg.

With a smile of his own, Izuku opened his hands, allowing Mr. Pokemon to give him the egg incubator. "Thank you. I promise I'll raise the Pokemon as best as I can."

"I know you will. But just in case, may I put my number in your Pokegear? I'd love an update on what Pokemon hatches out of that egg." Mr. Pokemon kindly asked as Izuku handed him his Pokegear, allowing the older man to register his number.

"Mr. Pokemon has been registered in your Pokegear." The Pokegear announced as Mr. Pokemon handed it back to Izuku.

"Now, I'd feel guilty forcing you three to go back to Cherrygrove, so please spend the night here. There's plenty of room for all of you." Mr. Pokemon offered them with a smile. The three agreed to take Mr. Pokemon's offer since it was getting late and the trek back to Cherrygrove City might take a while. Mr. Pokemon then turned towards Professor Oak. "You're more than welcome to stay the night too, Professor."

"Thank you for the offer, but I should getting going." Professor Oak kindly rejected his offer while standing up from his chair. "I have my radio show to do in Goldenrod City in a few days, so I need to be there as soon as possible."

"Would you like us to escort you, Professor?" Tenya offered, to which Oak shook his head.

"It's alright. My taxi should be here soon." As if on cue, the sound of a car horn rang outside. "Ahh. There it is." He looked at the three trainers with a smile before a thought came up. "I have a feeling this won't be the last time we meet, but just in case, may we exchange numbers?"

"YES!" Izuku and Ochaco both suddenly blurted out before realizing what they did. "Sorry…"

"It would be an honor to exchange numbers, professor!" Tenya swiftly took out his Pokegear, with Izuku and Ochaco doing the same. Chuckling in amusement, Professor Oak then put his number into each one.

"Professor Oak has been registered in your Pokegear."

"If you have any questions in regards to Pokemon, please don't hesitate to call me." Professor Oak told them before putting his hands behind his back. "Enjoy the time you share with your Pokemon as those bonds will stay with you for a lifetime."

With those final words of wisdom, Professor Oak left the house, leaving the trainers to ponder his words.

"He really is inspiring." Mr. Pokemon admitted with a small chuckle before he clapped his hands. "Now! How about we have some supper? I'm sure you're all famished."

Outside of Mr. Pokemon's house, Professor Oak entered his taxi, instructing the driver to go to the nearest city.

*Ring*Ring*

"Oh?" Professor Oak felt his Pokegear ringing. Taking it out and reading the caller ID, Oak smiled as he answered it, putting it against his ear. "Hello?... Yes… I know… I just left Mr. Pokemon's house… You did?... Thank you. I'll be in Violet City soon."

He listened to the person on the other end, his smile slightly growing. "She arrived? Excellent. Have the Starters prepared for her. I'd like to give her options… Yes… okay… Goodnight to you too."

With that, Professor Oak hung up.

I'll give you five guesses as to who Professor Oak was referring to. It IS a My Hero character, so that'll be your ONLY hint.

But anyways, happy 2023 everyone! We're all still alive in this crazy day and age. And To celebrate the new year, as well as Ash Ketchum's retirement from the anime, I decided to bring this story back. Sorry it took a long time to make this chapter, but thanks to Pokemon Journeys, I was able to reignite my Pokemon passion.

Hopefully this chapter gave some good screen time for everyone, as well as some new Pokemon they caught. Don't worry: Bakugo, Kirishima and Momo will catch some Pokemon next chapter, though who they will catch is up to you. The introduction of Professor Oak was something I just thought of and he will have a few more cameos, so expect that.
