Title: A Thousand Days in Tartarus
Rating: T
Word Count: 100
Warnings: Major Character Death

I pushed Draco to testify against the army for clemency. Cissy cried, but they're both thankful.

Day 1: Dementors tear at my mind, cold tears at my body.

Day 300: Draco wouldn't meet my eyes. I think he's courting the Mudblood.

Day 360: Her filth pollutes our heritage. Cissy still won't listen.

Day 500: Powerless, I smiled at the bride.

Day 501: They reward good behavior. I enrolled in the re-education program.

Day 950: Vermin half-blood baby.

Day 1000: My first escorted outing – an elf remained loyal.

Day 1001: I'm ready for the Kiss. One day they'll be thankful.

Chapter end notes:

Let it be known that I have now written two kid fics! lol

I got booted out this round but I'm going to continue writing, there's only another 2 weeks. Next week is Demeter, and my idea isn't a dark one this time.

Lessons learned: This is my first 100 word drabble and it was HARD.

1) Structure was a bit jarring. the first sentence feels like exposition even though it isn't, it would have been better to work it into the Day 1, Day X... format

2) Days shouldn't have been round numbers so that there's more authenticity. Instead of Day 300, for example, Day 173.

3) Make it clearer that Lucius is losing his mind, perhaps remove "The cold tears at my body" and use another sentence later on referring to the state of his mind.
