Ace was blushing slightly as Sandy, Chōko, and a slightly transparent Alice were all sitting around him with smiles after his victory over Spencer.
"You were so strong Acey." Sandy kissed his cheek.
"I wasn't that strong." he blushed at that. "I just got really lucky."
"Luck is a part of dueling." Chōko smiled holding his hand.
Ace blushed more but nodded. "Yeah, I guess it is."
"So who are you rooting for in this one Shay?" Zarc inquired.
Shay made a small shrug not sure.
"Well, it should be an interesting duel at least." Cathy smiled as Lulu and Terri walked down.
"We haven't dueled in a while Terri." Lulu smiled. "I'm looking forward to a fun match."
"Same." Terri smiled to her offering a hand to shake.
Lulu smiled shaking it as they turned to see what kind of match they were going to have. The spinner spin as they watched before it stopped on Action Duel.
"Sounds good to me." Lulu smiled.
"Alright ladies you two ready!?" Nico asked them as they ready.
They both nodded with smiles.
"Then we will begin with Crossover!" Nico called as the Lancer Action Field appeared around them.

"Maybe, but Lulu has a lot more she can play." Shay smiled seeing the two new monsters.

Broadbull glowed flying up in the Overlay Network. Lulu smiled seeing that. 'Perfect.'
"Mighty Dragon zoo animal reach your Halberd among your foes, and bring desperation to anyone who crosses with your path! Xyz Summon! Rank 4! Zoodiac Drident!"
Drident appeared grinning.

Lulu braced herself as her monster shattered. "Ensemblue Robin's ability activates when she's sent to the graveyard, I can add a different Lyrilusc monster from my graveyard to my hand and I pick Lyrilusc - Turquoise Warbler."
"Well now that it's gone, I can Overlay Drident!" Terri called as Drident flew back to the Overlay Network.
'No way... did she know?' Lulu thought in disbelief turning to the Overlay Network.
"Come on Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder!"
What lowered was Zeus readying behind Terri.

Terri watched before frowning, "Is this not fun?"
"It's fun, duels with you are always fun Terri." Lulu reassured her. "I'm just a little frustrated to be outplayed by my daughter that's all."
"Daughter? Does she have her way early?" Jarrod asked shocked.
"Oh yeah, we haven't explained it to you." Zarc realized before explaining it to him.
"Oh, I see so she's basically an Xyz Version of Dawn, and Lulu is the Xyz Version of Ray." Jarrod said now getting it.
"Bingo, hence her being Lulu's daughter just like Alex is Rin's daughter." Ray nodded.
"Well they have all of us to help each other out." Mir said to them.
"That's true, we're all one big... happy family right mommy?" Ace asked smiling up at Ray.
"That's right, and Larsa was nice enough to help us with his big house for all of us." Ray smiled patting her belly.
He smiled as they turned back to the duel.
"I switch Promenade Thrush into defense mode, and set one monster." Lulu frowned. "Then I'll set this and end my move."
Lyrilusc - Promenade Thrush: (Defense Position)
Terri frowned more from this. Seeing that Lulu frowned before walking over. "Terri, what's wrong?"
"I know you said your having fun but maybe including ZEUS was a mistake." Terri frowned.
"It wasn't a mistake Terri." Lulu answered before sighing. "I actually could have beaten ZEUS, but you outplayed me because you're a great duelist."
"Lyrilusc - Ensemblue Robin's ability, when you Special Summon a monster I can use one Overlay Unit to return that monster to your hand. ZEUS is powerful but that would beat it, and then... without ZEUS I have the advantage... but I couldn't use that ability on Drident thanks to Kataroost and now ZEUS is in play and Ensemble Robin is destroyed." Lulu admitted.
"...Well it was a hunch over why you didn't went with Assembled Nightingale." Terri admitted to her.
"I played a little too cautiously then?" Lulu guessed.
Terri slowly nodded before saying, "Well nothing wrong with being cautious."
"True, so I guess ready to finish this Terri?" Lulu asked. "I know I'm pretty much beaten... this time anyway. But you should be careful if we have a rematch, I have a way around ZEUS after all."
Terri nodded before Lulu walked back, and she called, "ZEUS' ability! By using two Overlay Units all cards on the field are sent to the graveyard!"
ZEUS charged up as it takes two units. (ORU: 3 - 2 - 1)
Every card vanished leaving only ZEUS in play.

Seeing her expression Lulu walked over and hugged her daughter. "It's ok Terri."
Terri slowly hugged her back.
"Maybe after the tournament I can try and get some revenge in a rematch... maybe in the forest with your friends?" Lulu asked smiling. "We could have a picnic with the Tenjos too."
Terri smiled from there before nodding, and activated the Action Card she picked up, Hive Dive.

They all cheered before the two girls walked back to the audience.
"This tournament has definitely been interesting." Zarc smiled.
"And I guess Ace will win the whole thing?" Sandy asked with a smile.
He blushed. "I'll do my best Sandy."
"We know you will." Alice smiled in front of him looking up with a smile.
Ray smiled seeing that only to tear up slightly.
"Mom?" Dawn asked worried for her.
"My baby boy is growing up so fast." she explained softly.
Dawn softly hugged her with a smile. Ray hugged her back as they turned to see Leo and Mokuba walk down for their match.
"Hopefully I manage against your new cards." Mokuba admitted to Leo.
"Only one way to find out." Leo grinned. "It should be fun either way."
Mokuba nodded with a grin as they turned to the spinner as it spin before stopping at Speed Duel.
"Speed Duel, sounds good to me." Leo smiled.
Mokuba nodded as they readied on boards as the countdown started which Mokuba admitted to Leo, "This feels familiar for you."
"Yeah, it sure does." Leo nodded.
"3... 2... 1..." Melissa started before calling, "GO!"
The two of them raced off as Mokuba somehow got ahead of Leo.
Ulrich362: Lulu's plan to counter ZEUS failed... well it failed this time but who's to say what might happen if they duel again.
bopdog111: Can ZEUS be defeated next time?
Ulrich362: Probably, but it certainly won't be easy. That said next up will be the end of the quarter-finals.
