(Solitas, Atlas, Schnee Castle 3:30 PM December 12th.)

"There's plenty of details we may have missed, your majesty." The man stated while he cleared his throat "The attack on Atlas was repelled, but we are still lacking the details of what happened. We still have soldiers that are combining the area." The man added before he cleared his throat.

He cleared his throat while he sighed to himself before he shared a look of emotions. He was well aware of what to do next when it came to their next choice. Their soldiers were briefed on the situation and sent to do the rest of the work while the others spoke to each other.

"We need to deal with the aftermath and how best to proceed with security," Ironwood said before he cleared his throat. "We need to make it so we can proceed with the utmost protection when it comes down to it," Ironwood stated with annoyance.

(With Weiss and Mason)

Mason looked at Weiss before he frowned to himself as he raised his eyebrows. He was rather interested in himself and shook his head. He crossed his arms to himself while he hummed to himself.

"What do you want to talk about?" Mason stated while he cleared his throat as he shook his head. "I don't know what to do next. I still need to think about it. The council hasn't told me anything when I talked to them. They're still dealing with the fallout from wars and such." Mason stated while he raised his eyebrow.

The Princess of Solitas was quiet as she considered her options. She frowned to himself as she looked before Mason shook his head.

"My father was rather interested in how best to find out more of the Fallen," Weiss stated and sighed. "There's been an increase of air traffic as I said in the city," Weiss added before she looked to the side.

"Well, at the least there will be plenty of security now," Mason stated while he shook his head and started to think. "I doubt the Fallen will be attacking anytime soon. Then again? I can guess they will anyway. They're not the type to simply surrender from a fight when something can be gained." Mason added before he cleared his throat.

"If they do? It will be met with the full might of Solita's military forces and their support from the other kingdoms." Weiss stated while she frowned to herself. "I'm going to guess that you will stay here when it comes down to it?" Weiss asked herself before she raised her eyebrow.

Mason nodded and leaned on the wall. He was rather interested in what happened next and how Vacuo stated to herself before she shook her head.

"Vacuo will have some sort of deal with the kingdom," Mason stated while he frowned to himself. "I still need to talk to them before they do something else. It will still take some time to do so." Mason added to himself before he frowned to himself.

He crossed his arms and looked at the ground before he rolled his eyes to himself. He sighed to himself and slowly started to think of what to do next. This place was 1000 different types of odd when it came to it and it often made him think that destiny was messing with him when it came down to it.

This place had been rather odd and it showed entirely as he tried his best to deal with the issue at hand. The more he was able to deal with these issues? The easier it was to attend to other matters which concerned the lands.

He was pulled from these thoughts by the princess who constantly seemed to be interested in his exploits. Mason wondered if it was something she cared for or if she was only seemed to care for what he was capable of.

She'd make a fine Warlock if only for the fact that she didn't seem to be all that concerned with their rules. Then again? Nobody seemed to care much for their roles at the end of the day. It helped a lot with dealing with forces that seemed to be beyond their control. It was a rather interesting piece of work when it came down to it.

She seemed to dance on the tips of her toes in a manner that screamed she had done it before. It wouldn't surprise him considering that she had been training for combat. He wondered how her sister and mother would react since her father probably hated it at the end of the day.

"If they did bring a deal here? They'd need to deal with my father." Weiss added while she frowned to herself. "My father also doesn't seem to deal with other leaders easily. He's a man who wishes to lay the terms." Weiss stated to which her friend sighed.

"Which means?" Mason asked while he raised an eyebrow towards her. "They probably will be near Solitas in a few days. it was part of the reason we had come here. I heard more transports are coming sooner or later." Mason added while he shook his head.

"Then it will be rather interesting," Mason added while he smiled to himself before. he rubbed at his temples. He raised an eyebrow.

"I don't know what to do when they come. I don't own any political clout at the second and I don't plan to when it happens to do this." Mason stated while he cleared his throat

"I don't know what to do next." Mason put in while he cleared his throat. "There's a lot of things for them to deal with. I'm simply a hunter who deals with the monsters if they showed up." Mason added to point out while he shook his head.

He was rather interested in what they'd do when they showed up at this place. Until then? He waited for them to show up so he can tell them that their trade chain had been properly established so nothing was stopping new orders.

Weiss tilted her head towards her friend who stayed silent for a minute or two. He needed to best start to think of what to do next before it happened. There were more plans to get off the ground. It bothered him that he had to place these tasks on the backs of people who hadn't a clue about the groundwork they laid.

"I honestly don't know if they're honestly well aware of the attack on this place." Weiss heard from Mason as he sighed and crossed his arms. "I'm not anything more than a specialist who is talented at killing the enemy and making this place better for people to stay at," Mason said with a roll of his eyes.

Weiss fell silent after a few seconds as her mind started to wander and brim with questions. All of them were about her home which seemed to constantly be shifting before her eyes. She wondered if was simply due to Mason's arrival, or perhaps they had always planned to do this and they hadn't the gall to find a way to implement it until now. The changes to Solitas were something she simply didn't understand when the day ended.

The amount of work that had to be done was simply unheard of. It shattered all pieces of her mind that there was so much work to be completed and placed aside for another time. It simply wasn't something they had time to wait for when it comes down to it.

Mason allowed her to wait in silence as his mind needed time to process it all as well. He needed to plan what happened next before the day was done and over with.

"It's not so fun when it's more than action on here, to be honest. Not so hard to be bored when there are not shots flying in the air." Mason added while he crossed his arms and started to pace around back and forth.

"And?" Weiss asked before she nodded to herself and sighed to herself as she frowned to herself. "There's a lot of things here that aren't as fn. The politics here? It's rather exhausting at the moment with all the details to spin around in your head." Weiss stated while she frowned to herself

"And it means a lot less fun when it isn't a field mission at the end of the day," Mason stated while he rolled his eyes. "I'm not a politician. I'm a soldier, a fighter, or someone like it and it becomes rather dull when you don't know how to fight a new enemy. Then again? The politics aren't exactly interesting to anyone." Mason added before he cleared his throat.

This was a rather interesting position for them as politics started to slow down their advancement into this sort of thing. Then again? He was rather hopeful that this happened out of his way while he sighed to himself.

"Still?" Both heard while he frowned to himself before he sighed. "Politics are important, Mason. It doesn't hurt to brush up on it when it comes to helping people. We need to branch out at the end of the day or we aren't going to go anywhere else." Mason also heard from he sighed to himself.

"It's not that funny, buddy," Mason stated while he rolled his eyes. "I'm not happy talking to people who can talk circles around me," Mason added before he frowned to himself.

"And?" Nomad asked before he rolled his optic in its socket. "Not all pieces of work are fun. It helps to be flexible. What happens if we're sent onto a mission without any fighting? We're simply going to complain and go somewhere else?" Nomad questioned to which Mason nodded to himself.

"A gunslinger sent to handle peace talks? I don't know how to cut deals without sleight of hand at the moment." Mason stated before he turned to Wiess. "What do you want to talk about next?" Mason asked before he clenched his fingers.

"The Fallen? You acted like you had some history with them?" Mason heard from Weiss while he frowned to himself.

"I do. I'm going to guess that it's beside the story that I blabbed about?" Mason asked while he crossed his arms. "I and the House of Devils had some history before then. It's a lot of me hunting their commanders and trying to make their lives hell." Mason added for a moment as he tapped his foot next to him with a frown and annoyance written across his features.

Weiss seemed to stay silent as she prepared for what to do next. The place honestly seemed to be more of a trap and more of a prison to her each day she stayed here. it

"I know my father will speak to the council before too long. Their want to come and see what the day is." Weiss added to which her friend simply raised an eyebrow at her as he did so. "He doesn't entirely enjoy the waiting game like this. He likes to seize the advantage before it gets away from him and he can't do anything about it." Weiss stated while her friend nodded at this.

The more he considered that? The more he also pondered what her father was to do when he realized his daughter had been on the frontlines. He was probably to see it if he hadn't the idea that she needed to be there. She was a warrior at the end of the road and it was something that made her important. Mason still didn't wish for her to be caught in the middle of his plans when it came to it. He was simply not willing to throw her life before it came down to it.

She nodded towards Mason while he rolled his eyes. He tried to ponder if they were to come to this place for a reason besides trying to mess with the royal family and its annoyance. He was interested in this land and if it offered more than monsters and cold which whipped at his hide. He reminded himself that someone was off when it comes down to it as he frowned beneath his armor and he only smiled.

He was bemused at the fact this place reminded him of Vacuo with the sands and whipping winds while he cleared his throat and he started to brush himself off. He closed his eyes while he slowly started to clear his mind of any real doubts or problems when he tapped the bridge of his nose.

He leaned on the wall much while Weiss started to speak once more while his Ghost started to fly around his head. The princess started to shake back and forth on the tips of her toes. She gazed into the snow-filled skies of Solitas and what little snow blanketed the ground before long.

"There are trillions of stories where warriors battled the fallen. Did you know something that isn't often stated?" Weiss questioned to herself rather than her friend who raised his arms.

"Depends. Plenty of legends that I don't entirely miss out on. comes a lot with being a hunter and living in the wilderness if I'm honest." Mason said while he cracked his neck.

"Not even the story of Emperor Nicholas Schnee?" Weiss questioned to which Mason raised an eyebrow. "My grandfather was the one who led people to this place and it was due to him that we are here. It was his leadership that helped my father lead the warriors of Solitas to fond this place." Weiss said as Mason clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

"Hmm. Didn't hear that one for a while." Mason stated while he slowly started to brush off his cloak. "Also, well aware of that. Solitas military has plenty of veterans who are close to descendants of those people. Soldiers are something the rest of the planet has been notified of. Your sister told me about the military the entire way here and didn't want anyone to be shot or placed in front of a firing squad." Mason said while he smiled once more and gazed at his ghost which floated around him.

Weiss stayed silent while she tapped on the floor with her foot. She had a lot to say and a lot to do next. What had her father done about this? Why did Winter bring people from another land here with people hunting them in what to do next? Weiss didn't wish to bother Mason who had his duties as she had hers. She wasn't one to sit on her throne while dozens of soldiers and servants fussed over her and waited on what came next to it.

He had plenty of ideas at the seconds and all of them chased the first one wasn't to keep pressing around when it came down to it. Mason had to point out a lot of problems and she hadn't needed to deal with them.
