Back at the Obelisk male dorms which has now been converted into a new base for the Society Of Light, the building was shaking as the beast locked in the basement continued to rampage. Maynard was locked away in a cell, still stuck in his complete alpha wolf form. He fought while some grunt members entered his cell to administer medicine and a sedative, but he proved too strong for them and they had no choice but to retreat.

Malin stared at his brother through the window of his cell door as he paced back and forth with pain in his eyes. "Big brother. You're too reckless." Malin looked down as he felt a tug on his sleeve and saw the cute face of his little sister who stared up at him with worry. He smiled down at the younger girl and grabbed her hand trying to reassure her. "Don't worry Mya. You know our brother; he will come back to his senses soon enough. But until then, it's just going to be me and you."

Even though he told her not to worry he couldn't help but be worried himself. It's been a week since his older brother foolishly used those cursed powers, and this is the longest it's ever been for his brother to turn back to normal. Every time he uses the power of the alpha, he loses a piece of his humanity a little more each time. And eventually he knew that one day, his brother wasn't going to come back. Maynard didn't always used to be so crude and brutish like he was now.

When they were younger, Maynard was the kindest person to everyone. But because of their rough childhood, their brother was forced to use his powers over and over to protect them until he became the person he is today. He loves his brother and promised to himself he would always be by his side, which is why he and Mya agreed to join the Society Of Light with him to begin with. But he was slowly starting to regret that promise. If he had just spoke his mind and was more assertive with his older brother, then maybe he wouldn't be suffering as much as he was now. Malin felt pathetic not only as a werewolf, but as his family.

"I knew I'd find you here. Master Sartorius requests your presence in his chambers." Said Aster as he came into the basement in search of Malin. Malin wiped his eye trying to get rid of the single tear that stroked his cheek. He didn't want Aster to see weakness in him. "Okay. I'll go see to him then. Take Mya back to her room for me, would you?" He said as he tried to walk past Aster who then stood in his way. "Wait. I have to ask… But Master Sartorius wouldn't be planning something without me, would he?" Said Aster assertively. Malin looked the other way and brushed passed him anyways. "I cannot deny or confirm anything. But let's say that if he was, then I couldn't tell you. Hope that helps."

Malin left to go report to Sartorius leaving Aster and Mya behind. Aster walked up to the window that Malin was peering through, and as soon as he faced the glass, Maynard pounced on the door trying to attack him leaving a good sized dent in the metal door causing Aster to take a step back. Mya hid behind him and grabbed onto his pants leg, shaking profusely. Aster rubbed the young girl's hair. "Let's get out of here. You don't need to see this anymore." He took her by the hand and led her out of the basement back to her room.

Unbeknownst to Malin, one of Jaden's bats was following him discretely from a distance. When he made it to Sartorius's room, he knocked on the door and entered. "You summoned for me Master Sartorius?" Sartorius sat at his desk looking at some more documents regarding the secretive White Devil Project while writing down notes. After he finished jotting down his notes, he put them in an envelope and sealed it and handed it to the second oldest Storm sibling. "Deliver this to the boat that is sitting by the docks. A courier will be waiting for you to take this back to the mainland." Malin took the letter from him and bowed before he made his exit. Upon seeing this, the bat exited through a nearby window to report back to its master.

It was still early in the morning and Jaden slept in his bed comfortably, snoring away with his body sprawled out with one leg hanging off his mattress. His alarm went off making him scrunch his nose in irritation as he rolled over with his eyes still closed trying to feel for his PDA to silence his alarm until his hand fell on something soft, confusing him. "Hm? What the hell is that?" With his eyes still closed, he squeezed the foreign object in his hand until he heard a rather erotic moan causing him to immediately bolt awake and sit up.

Lying beside him was Anastasia who had been closely snuggled up to him sleeping with him all night. Jaden scooted away with a blush across his cheeks until he fell out of his bed with a loud thud which also woke up Syrus who slept in the bunk bed above his. "Is something wrong Jaden?" Said Syrus who sat up while groggily rubbing his eyes.

Jaden was lost for words as he struggled to get the words to escape his mouth as he pointed at the young vampire girl who was still sleeping in his bed. But eventually he was finally able to force it out. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN MY BED?!" Yelled Jaden. Anastasia sat up with a yawn and a stretch as she also rubbed her eyes, until she looked at Jaden with hearts in her eyes. "Good morning my king! I hope you slept well. Because I know I did." She said in a teasing tone as she crawled her way out of bed and landed on top of him, shoving his face yet again between her breasts despite his struggles.

Jaden was able to rip her off of him and stood up and ran behind Syrus who had also gotten out of bed. "What are you doing here Anastasia?!" The younger girl frowned seeing the disapproval on her beloved's face. "I missed you. And besides, it's my job to watch over you. I can't leave you alone not even for a second!" A blush crossed her cheeks as she played with her fingers and her eyes began to dart around the room. "And after the night we had yesterday, how could I stay away? You were just so rough with me my lord; you've been on my mind all night!"

Syrus was still tired and didn't understand exactly what was going on but then his eyes widened as he started shaking Jaden around. "What is she talking about?! You didn't cheat on Alexis, did you?!" Jaden raised his hands up in defense. " I have no idea what she's talking about, Sy! We didn't do anything last night!" All he could recall from last night was their fight when he went to protect Alexis, but that was all.

Anastasia waved her finger at him and tsked him with her tongue. "How can you not remember our very intimate moment together? When we fought against each other, you didn't hold back against me. You didn't pull back any of your punches and proved to me just how strong you are. In the vampire society, power is everything. I acknowledged your declaration of love for me, and you made me want you even more!" She said as she jumped over Syrus and tackled him smothering him between her breasts yet again. "Oh yeah! I'm also going to be living here with you guys! The transfer paperwork is already done so I'm officially a Slifer Student just you like you! My stuffs already moved in too."

Jaden pulled away and took a deep exaggerated breath and looked around the room, and sure enough all of her stuff was neatly piled up in his and Syrus's room tucked away in boxes. "You have got to be kidding me?!" He yelled annoyed. He could feel a headache starting to come on. How was he going to explain this to Alexis?

The rest of the morning was spent trying to get ready for school while Jaden tried his best to defend against Anastasia's assaults, but he eventually gave in and let her do what she wanted. The three began walking to school with Anastasia clinging tightly to his arm as they walked. Syrus sweat dropped when he saw the frustration on Jaden's face. "It could be worse Jay. That could be Doctor Crowler clinging to you like that." Syrus chuckled nervously when he felt Jaden's icy stare on him. Maybe now wasn't the time for jokes.

Jaden sighed as he stopped walking so he could speak. "Look Anastasia, I'm flattered. Really, I am. But I'm not happy with you. You tried to hurt someone very important to me. And for that I can't forgive and forget so easily." Said Jaden as he glared down at her with his eyes flashing with power, but instead of being afraid Anastasia's blush only deepened with admiration.

"And I'm sorry for that. I admit, I had my doubts about you actually being the Supreme King. You're a vampire yet you don't act like one. But last night, I saw you for what you truly were. So, starting now, I give you my undoubtable loyalty and will do anything you ask of me. If my lord wishes for his friends to be protected, then I will protect them along with you." She said with a smile on her face. Jaden didn't know why, but it made him feel all warm and fuzzy inside seeing her smile like that. Despite him currently resenting her, he couldn't lie to himself that he found her attractive.

He shook his head aggressively trying to ignore his new foreign lustful feelings. Why was he feeling like this for a girl he barely knew?! "You feel like this because of your natural affinity for each other. It's in our instincts to seek the company of other strong beings. What I'm saying is, it's your primal instinct to reproduce with this woman. And good riddance, in my opinion you are her are much more suited to be partners than that human girl you are constantly fawning over." Said Haou within the recesses of Jaden's mind.

As Jaden listened to his other half, he stood staring blankly ahead of him making Syrus wave his hand in front of his face. "Hello? Earth to Jaden?" He snapped back to reality and rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry Sy. I was just lost in thought. And Anastasia, if you truly mean what you say then I believe you. Just don't make me regret placing my trust in you." Jaden said sternly.

The trio made it to school and into their class, where all the students were once again glaring at Jaden with hate as he walked in with the popular idol still clung to his arm who was now adorning her new Slifer Red uniform. "She transferred into his pathetic dorm?! He has to have her under his spell! No way in hell would someone of her caliber be willing to live in a dump like that with scum like him!" Said a random enraged student.

Anastasia glared at the student with her eyes momentarily flashing an ominous red. "Do you want me to silence him, my lord?" She said very protectively. It took her a long time to obtain the admiration of the human public, but she was willing to throw it all away if it meant she got to protect her king's honor. Jaden stopped her before she stomped her way towards the unruly student. "No! It's fine. I really don't want any more drama than I already have." The three took their seats waiting for class to begin with Bastion shortly joining them. "Good morning, Bastion!" Said Syrus happily, but Bastion couldn't help but analyze the awkward situation that was in front of him.

"I see you made yourself a new uh... friend? Good morning, Miss Bronwyn. It's good to have you with us." He said as he took his seat behind Jaden. Anastasia giggled, "No need for such formalities! We're all friends now! Call me Ana, please I insist!" Bastion tugged on his collar as he started to feel hot, and he cleared his throat. 'Okay. Good morning then, Ana."

As class started, Jaden couldn't focus on the lecture because all of his thoughts were focused on Alexis who was still in the infirmary recovering from her wounds. If he didn't leave her alone then she wouldn't have gotten hurt. And he's grateful that Anastasia seems to have turned around, but her loyalties were still yet to be proven. She said that she would protect his friends but just how far was she willing to go to keep her word? She's still a vampire after all. And unlike him, she never experienced what it was like to be a human being, so she holds no sympathy for them. She was someone that he was going to have to keep a close eye on that's for sure.

Jaden then heard a thumping like something was ramming into glass when he looked to his side and saw one of his bats that was eagerly trying to enter the classroom from the window. It probably had information concerning the White Devil Project. 'Hey teach! I really need to use the bathroom!" He said as he stood up. "Alright, but don't take too long Mister Yuki!"

He rushed out of the classroom and straight to the courtyard where the bat perched on his arm where it started to communicate to him telepathically. "So, there's a letter that's going to be delivered to the docks, huh? I'll have Aster intercept the message then and meet up with me when he's done." He said as he pulled out his PDA to shoot Aster a message. Without knowing, Anastasia followed him and overheard what he was saying, and a mischievous grin crossed her face. "My lord needs someone to obtain a letter? Well then, I'm going to get it first before someone else does! He's sure to admit he loves me if I can do this for him!" She said as she took off towards the docks. Aster too was now also heading for the docks.

Aster received Jaden's message and left the White Dormitories and headed to the docks where Malin was probably already making his way to. Malin had left an hour before him, so he wasn't sure what he was going to find by the time he made it to the docks. For all he knew the message was already delivered and he would be too late. By the time he made it to the docks, he saw Malin pass the letter off to the courier and left, and before Aster could infiltrate the boat, he saw a shadowy figure that moved so fast his trained eyes almost didn't detect it. "Is someone else here?" He said as he snuck onto the boat, and then the smell of blood wafted in the air. "Oh no!" He said to himself as he picked up the pace. That shadowy figure must be the culprit!

By the time he found the source of the blood, Anastasia was already there standing over three dead bodies as she hungrily drank the blood of the courier before she dropped his lifeless body on the ground and pulled the letter out from his coat pocket. She turned around sensing Aster's presence with blood dripping all over her clothes and face. Aster stared in horror; she reminded him of the vampire that attacked him so long ago as she gave off the same menacing aura as the beast that turned him. "Damn vampire! I'll kill you for what you've done!" He said as he placed his hand over his heart and pulled out his sword made of light.

Anastasia tilted her head and let out a giggle. "What do you plan on doing with the cheap looking toy?" She then mockingly waved the letter in front of him, teasing him. "Is this what you were looking for? Sorry, but I can't let you have it. This is for my king's eyes only." Aster looked at her confused before he lowered his weapon. "Jaden sent you here?" Anastasia pulled a handkerchief out from her pocket and wiped her face off with it, not that it did much good as she was still soaked in blood.

Anastasia stared at him and walked over and sniffed him, making Aster take a step back as she giggled to herself again. "You're a vampire too, how exciting! But I can tell you used to be human. You have a stink about you that makes my nose burn." Aster glared at her as he pointed his sword at her neck. "It doesn't matter to me why you're here. You didn't have to kill these men!" Anastasia shrugged her shoulders, not understanding what the big deal was. "They were just as ready to kill me. Why should I have shown them mercy? And I was hungry. Besides, you and I are here for the same reason, right? And I hate to ask, but are you my king's subordinate? It's faint, but I can sense the Supreme King's power inside of you. Did he give you his blood? How lucky you are to have been bestowed such an honor." She said as she placed a finger to her chin.

Aster looked away, ashamed that she had called him out. "And what if I am?" She smiled at him and placed her hand on his chest. "That makes us allies now so I won't kill you! But if you ever try to fight me then I will have no choice but to kill you. So, let's make the best out of this little alliance before we escalate things, okay?" Aster could feel her dark aura begin to increase making a shiver go up his spine. Aster sighed because he knew there was no point in continuing to argue with her. "And what about this mess then? This was supposed to be a grab and go mission not a complete massacre! You're going to put everyone in the Society of Light on high alert!"

The young vampire girl thought long and hard trying to think of a scenario that seemed believable. "You work for the Society of Light, right? That's why you have that fancy little sword? So just say that a rogue vampire came and attacked the ship, so you came to defend it. But the vampire was already long gone before you got here. That should keep your cover safe. Easy peasy!" She said nonchalantly. Aster gritted his teeth. Somehow this vampire seemed more irritating to him than Jaden ever was. "Anyways, I'm going to leave now. I don't want to keep my highness waiting! Oh, he's going to be so happy with me!" She said with hearts in her eyes as she imagined Jaden holding her in his arms and giving her a kiss on the forehead. And then she left and left Aster to deal with her mess alone.

Class ended and it was time for lunch, but rather than going to the roof, Jaden went straight to the infirmary so he could go and visit Alexis. When he made it there, he looked sadly at the girl who still laid motionless in her bed deep asleep. He pulled up a chair and grabbed a hold of her hand and gently kissed it. "I'm so sorry Alexis… This is all my fault. I should have gotten there sooner." He brushed some hair out of her face and stared contently at her beautiful resting face.

But as he looked at her, his eyes went straight to her neck and a blush quickly spread across his cheeks. He leaned over her resting body and placed his face in the crook of her neck and gently licked it. The cuts on her body were covered by bandages but they couldn't conceal the delicious smell of her blood that Jaden longed for. He hadn't consumed fresh blood in days, and it was hard for him to resist the temptation any longer. His eyes began to glow hungrily and without thinking, he gently bit into her neck causing the girl to groan in her sleep.

He hungrily drank her blood and felt that sensation of euphoria that always washed over his body when he fed from a fresh source. As he drank, his mind started to drift away and he was beginning to drink a dangerous amount of her blood, completely lost in the taste of her life essence. When he realized what he was doing he quickly withdrew and placed a hand over his mouth, not believing that he would take advantage of her of like that when she was at her most vulnerable.

He was ready to kill her to satiate this cursed hunger inside of him. He stood up and took a couple of steps back as he wiped his mouth on his sleeve. "Here I am talking about protecting you, when the biggest threat to you is myself. Alexis, I'm sorry!" He clenched his fists and took off running out of the room ashamed by what he had done. Alexis slowly started to open her eyes. She was barely conscious when he bit her but was sentient enough to know that Jaden was indeed there, watching over her. She sat up in her bed and placed her hand on her neck where Jaden had bitten her and looked around the room looking for him but frowned when she saw that he was already long gone. "Was that just a dream?"
