CHAPTER 9 - Lucy-complex
Lucy - 11, Ace & Sabo - 14, Coby - 13, Law - 18, Zora & Sanji - 12, Nami & Usopp - 11, Chopper - 9, Koala - 16
A week after the restaurant chaos. In Drum island, Sabo and his group, the revolutionaries arrived expecting a civil war between the tyrant King Wapol and the citizens but to their confusion the citizens were partying. And to Sabo's horror Lucy was there in the middle of the party with her friends which they saw from the restaurant.
"LUCY!" Sabo yelled as soon as he recognise her
The girl that looks too much as Lucy looks at the voice and grinned "Sabo!" She run towards the group, more to Sabo, and jumped to hug him. Arms around Sabo's neck and legs wrap around his waist.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" Sabo yelled while hugging the girl
Lucy leaned back but not unwrapping her legs from his waist, "We're traveling."
Sabo narrowed his eyes at the girl "Does someone know about this?"
Lucy looked away "Ummmmm. Mommy?"
"Are you telling me or are you asking me?" Sabo asked
"Telling you?"
"LUCY!" Sabo yelled and that is how a hour long scolding session started

"Hello, you must be Lucy's friends?" Koala greeted as soon as reached the group
"Hello, I'm Nami." Nami greeted bowing slightly
"I'm Ussop. Nice to meet you!" Ussop grinned
"My fair lady, I'm Sanji." Sanji greeted giving Koala's hand a kiss
"Zoro." Zoro simply said
"I'm Koala." Koala greeted and pointed at Hack, "And he's Hack."
"What are you?" Ussop asked innocently, making Hack and Koala freeze.
It was unknown to the common people that other species, such as fish men exist in their world. Most that figure it out would be scared or be disgusted.
"I'm a fish man." Hack carefully said
Ussop's eyes sparkled "Really! That's so cool!" he almost shouted "I didn't know you guys were real! Lucy will want to meet you!"
Nami grinned as she looked at the still yelling Sabo screaming at Lucy who is only laughing "Later, when Sabo gets tired of scolding her."
"Or probably when he realizes that Lucy is not listening." Zoro snorted
"You know Sabo?" Koala narrowed her eyes. They are revolutionaries. They shouldn't exist for civilians. She's sure they haven't met these people, so how do they know Sabo?
"Relax." Nami said "Lucy won't shut up about him and Ace that, we practically already know them."
Hack snorted "It will still take a while. Sabo is very stubborn."
"Yup, and so is Lucy." Nami agreed, "Do you want to join us?" she invited them which made both smile

"So what brought you guys here?" Koala asked. She was still not sure how do this people arrived before them and already in the middle of a party
"Lucy loves traveling, but hates traveling alone." Ussop said
"So she dragged us here." Zoro said
"She wants to play in the snow." Sanji added
"So you guys flew a 2 day trip from East blue to the Grandline just to play in snow?" Hack asked clearly not believing them
Nami sighs, "I know it clearly sounds like a lie. Even when we're telling you we hardly believe it. But its the truth."
"Do you know how expensive a flight to the grand line is?" Koala asked
Ussop shrugged his shoulders "Lucy is clearly a rich lady."
Koala and Hack exchange weird looks and both of them knew that something was up. The children were clearly not lying but hiding something else.
After a few days, when the revolutionaries were sure that the island didn't need any help any more. They left with Lucy and her friends. Well Lucy really wanted to travel back via plane but Sabo insisted -demanded- them to take the boat with them.
They can too travel via plane back to east blue, but Sabo wants to spend more time alone with Lucy -without Ace or Law or anybody else. So they took a long route via boat which will last a week. Sabo is really a selfish bastard.

"This is weird I tell you. A week ago there was a civil war that was going to happen to dethrone the King but when we arrived everything was fine already? Koala said.
They are currently in the meeting place in a video call with Dragon and some of the high ranking in the revolutionary
"This might be out of topic, but I can't help but notice that Sabo-kun looks like his world is ending." Ivanka said pointing at a zombie looking Sabo
Hack snorted "Don't mind him, we had to drag him in this meeting."
"I was talking with Lucy and her friends." Sabo pouted
"You are interrogating her friends." Koala corrected rolling her eyes
"Sabo, you're obsessed with my daughter." Dragon spoke, silencing the whole room. "Why don't you just marry her?"
Everyone choked on something. They were not expecting that. Nope. Not at all.
"Dragon-san, Lucy is my little sister." Sabo deadpan
"I still haven't signed any adoption papers." Dragon smirked
Sabo sighs, rubbing his temples "This is why Ace hates you, Dragon-san."
Dragon snorted, he fucking snorted. Everyone in the room pinch their arms to see if they're dreaming or not. To their horror they're not dreaming. "The boy can't hate me if he wants to marry my daughter. He needs my approval."
"And this is why Auntie Rogue hates you." Sabo deadpan. He sighs, "Let's just finish this stupid meeting so I can go back to Lucy."
"Your obsession is showing Sabo-kun." "Sabo, your sister-complex is slipping." Both Koala and Hack said, earning laughter from the people on the other side of the camera.
"You're all bastards." Sabo deadpan
Koala fake cough making everyone stop laughing "As I was saying." she continued "It was a weird occurrence. When we talked to locals they told us a new mafia group visited them and beat the crap out of the King."
Dragon raised his eyebrow "A new mafia group?"
"Yeah, they call them the Straw hat mafias." Hack answered
"And what is weird is the appearance of Lucy and her friends."
"I told you Koala, Lucy told me she wants to play in snow." Sabo defended her sister
"In ve snow?" Ivanka asked clearly not believing the lie
"A week ago, my informant told me that my daughter saw a travel catalog of Drum Island and decided to visit."
"Do you know how much a plane ticket from east blue to grandline cost? Apparently they also took business class tickets. For all six of them and a giant duck?" Koala almost shouted
Dragon looked away guilty, "I like spoiling Lucy."
Koala can feel a headache coming along. "I know it's your legal business in the surface world Dragon-san, but spoiling Lucy too much is bad for her."
"You don't understand Koala. Lucy, don't spend money." Sabo explained "We literally had to beg her to spend all the money we gave her. So her spending money to travel with friends is no issue for us."
"You should see how Rogue and Roger spoil her." Dragon added "I swear if it weren't for Ace, they would have adopted her or just kidnapped her."
Koala gave up already, this is starting to look like another rabbit hole in talking about Lucy. "But it still doesn't explain why she's here a week before we arrive on the island."
"Well, it all checked out really. According to her tracker, as soon as she saw the travel catalog she went to her friends and after a few hours they boarded the plane and was in Drum island ever since."
"You also gave her a tracker?" Sabo asked
"No. I hacked into yours." Dragon said
"What!" Sabo yelled "That's unfair! I spent millions on that and you're just going to use it without telling me? Buy your own Dragon-san!"
Dragon smirked "You didn't even tell me you're going to track my daughter, Sabo. Or do you want me to tell her that you're stalking her?"
Sabo groaned "And this is why I hate you Dragon-san."
"Oh dear Oda, Sabo's right. Dragon will 100% be okay with Sabo tracking Lucy as long as he has access to it." Koala said horrified at a new information
Dragon gave her a very rare smile "Of course Lucy is my daughter."
"I pity Lucy-chan." Koala said "If both you and Sabo are tracking her at all times, I'm scared that someone else in your family is tracking her."
Dragon snorted "I'm going to be more surprised if Rogue's didn't plant a tracker on Lucy."
"And you're not concerned about that?" Koala shouted
Sabo sighs, "The more who is tracking her and looking out for her the better." Ivanka said. She knows the story surrounding Lucy and she really don't know how Lucy is still alive
"She's 11. How can an 11 year old get in trouble?" Koala know that they are clearly overreacting. They are clearly getting possessive and obsessive about the girl.
Sabo snorted, "My sister's hobby is getting kidnapped at least once a year."
"She's also known to befriend anyone while in captive." Ivanka added
"You're just exaggerating." Koala said
"Do you want to know the story of how one of the emperors of the underwood lost his arm years ago?" Dragon asked
"What does have to do with Lucy?" Koala asked
"It has everything to do with Lucy."
"Koala, you're still young, a 16 year old freshly recruited in the revolutionaries. Are you sure you want to ruin your sanity by listening to stories of Lucy?" Hack asked clearly serious
Koala gulped but nodded. She needed to know the story behind Lucy. The reason why people are obsessed with the girl. She's cute and adorable, yes. And she really adores the girl but these people are clearly getting obsessed with her and it worries her.
"I want to know so tell me everything you can." Koala bravely said. Hack just gave her a pity look and sigh.
When the stories started, Koala didn't know what to think or say. She is sure that some are completely exaggerated and she's sure some are completely lies. But when they showed her pictures and reports of the events they're talking about, her blood ran cold and she paled. How is this girl still alive?
"You've got to be lying." Koala almost pleaded her mind near its limit. Her sanity almost snapping
"Nope. Everything is true." Sabo said grinning, enjoying the struggle of emotion clearly on Koala's face
"But. That's impossible. She's just 11." Koala reasoned
"Yeah, she's just 11. Imagine what troubles she'll get once she get older?" Sabo is enjoying torturing the poor girl's mind and sanity
"NOOOOOOO!" Koala yelled slamming her head in despair
"Oops, I just heard Koala's sanity snapped." Sabo laughed
Hack looked at the now sobbing girl with pity and shook her head "I tried to warn her." Hack then looked at the laughing Sabo on the floor "You're a monster Sabo."
Ivanka watched the poor girl sob clearly still not accepting the impossibility of a Monkey D. Lucy. She looked at Dragon when an idea popped into her head "You know Dragon, I know now how we can strengthen the mental capability of our people."
Dragon looked at her, raising one of his eyebrows. "How?"
"Monkey D. Lucy." She said pointing at the still sobbing Koala.
Dragon stared at her for a second before roaring in laughter. For the second time that day, the people in the meeting pinched their arms to see if they were dreaming.

And that is how an 11 year old Lucy ruined one of the important meetings between revolutionaries without even knowing.

How the revolutionaries question their reality and existence twice in one day as they stare at Dragon and Sabo laughing so loud, Koala breaking down, Ivanka already drawing the 'operation: Monkey D. Lucy vs your mind' and Hack who is just so tired of the world that he cried.
And to everyone's horror they could clearly hear outside the meeting room, Lucy's friends shouting that a huge ass bird picked Lucy up and flew away kidnapping the poor girl. But then the big ass bird was eaten by a bigger ass sea monster with wings that jumped from the ocean and flew away.
In an instant everyone on the other side of the call saw Sabo disappear in a second, Koala fainting, and Hack cried louder.

Dragon was about to end the call when they heard another shouting.
"Lucy, this is the 5th time this month!" A girl's voice shouted
"Damn it Lucy I told you to stop using Karoo as bait for sea monsters!" Another girl voice shouted
"Shishishi But I'm hungry Vivi!" They can clearly imagine the girl pouting
"Lucy if you're fishing for sea monsters why the fuck did you get kidnapped by a huge bird?" Sabo yelled
"Well it was staring at me so I stared back. We had a staring contest but the bird lost because he blinked. So he got angry and kidnapped me." Lucy explained like that it explained everything
"Lucy, please tell me you're joking." The first girl's voice said
"No! I told you Nami we had a staring contest!" Lucy yelled again
"Alright fine, some dumbass bird decides to pick you up, but how the fuck did a extinct flying sea monster showed up and ate the damn bird?" Sabo yelled
"I don't know Sabo. Stop asking me, I'm the one who was swallowed whole, twice!" Lucy yelled "Ask the stupid sea monster."
"Fine. But why is there suddenly a cow sea monster following our ship?" Sabo yelled
"That's Momoo." Lucy said
"That doesn't explain anything Lucy."
"I saw him inside the sea monster's belly. Apparently he was also eaten so I saved him. I also saved this guy."
"That's a kung-fu dugong Lucy!" Sabo yelled
"How did you make it follow you Lucy-chan?" Vivi asked
"I beat it with a punch. Shishishishi." Lucy said proudly
"Okay so not only did you adopt a kung-fu dugong but now a cow sea monster is following you around. Why?" Everyone can hear the desperation of Sabo
"Oh because we know each other way back. We met him in Arlong Park."
Everything stopped. Even the talking in the background stopped.
"You were in Arlong Park?" Sabo almost whispered "Why?"
"I was kidnapped."
"When did this happen?" Sabo yelled
"Three to four months ago?" They can hear the unsurety in her voice
"How?"
"Nami kidnapped me." Lucy said
"Excuse me?" Sabo said
"I kidnapped Lucy. I was enslaved by Arlong and he told me to kidnap Lucy."
"But then we become friends!" Lucy said
"It's very difficult to say no to Lucy when she tells you, you're her friend." They both giggled
"But how did you escape?" Sabo asked
"Some mafia people beat up Arlong then saved us." Sanji said
"Did you know who?" Sabo asked
"Nope. The only thing we saw was the leader wearing a straw hat." Ussop said
There was a few seconds of silence. "Please tell me that is not how you all met Lucy." Sabo was almost pleading.
"Not exactly. Shishishi" Lucy said
"We met in prison." Zoro said
"As I said, I kidnapped Lucy." Nami said
"She destroyed one of our restaurants so my old man made her work as a waitress." Sanji chuckled "Stop glaring at me Sabo-san, I can give you pictures of Lucy-swan in waitress uniforms. But don't tell Ace, we want to see his expression in person. We had fun seeing him embarrass from one picture." he laughed again
"Oh, is that the one picture you showed Ace?" Lucy asked
"Yeah, remember his expression of Lucy in a normal uniform?" Nami laughed "Imagine if he sees the other holiday special uniform!"
"I still don't get why Ace got a nosebleed after looking at the picture." Lucy pouted "Its just me in a waitress uniform."
"Oh I saw that picture! You were so adorable!" Vivi exclaimed
"Shishishis I had fun wearing different cloth and I earned a lot of money!" Lucy boasted
"You would have earned more, if you didn't break a lot of tables, chairs, plates, and almost burn down the kitchen!" Sanji yelled back
"My dad is part of Shanks' crew." Sabo groaned at the mention of the red hair "Yeah, I know what happened. My dad told me they still got people showing up now and then just to beat Shanks up. He actually told me to tell you that you should visit them sometime. He betted you showing up again and if you show up within the next month he wins half a million."
"I used to work in a traveling circus as an act. But then I drugged Lucy-chan and her friends and stole their money."
"Tried." Nami emphasized "They didn't succeed in stealing anything."
They could hear the tired groan of Sabo "Lucy what is wrong with your friends! Why do you keep on getting in this mess?" Sabo yelled again in anger "But more importantly when did this all happened? You're fucking 11 and you've been travelling all around the world without anybody knowing?"
"Should we tell him?" Nami asked
"I don't think his mind will take another shocking news." Sanji said
"What. is. it?" Sabo asked when no one answered Sabo spoke again "Lucy?"
"Well… ummm… remember when you told me to punch someone that tried to kiss me on the lips, and tell you?"
"Who is that bastard?"
"Hemepo. Son of that bastard captain Morgue."
"What the fuck is that name?" Sabo asked laughing
"It's Helmeppo, the son of the former captain Morgan." Nami decoded the Lucy-sentence
"Lucy, I just haven't seen you for just 2 months but it seems you got yourself too much adventure without me knowing." Everyone listening could feel the dark aura from outside the meeting room. "Keep traveling like this without letting someone know and I'll plant a tracker in you."
"That is actually not a bad idea." Nami said
"What?" Sabo was clearly not expecting that
"If you're planting a tracker on Lucy can we have access?" Vivi asked, "Lucy kept on getting lost too much."
"Can you also plant one on the green hair?" Sanji asked
"Yeah, Zoro doesn't have a sense of direction." Ussop agreed
"But do we have to pay?" Nami whined "I mean Lucy is clearly rich but I'm not. I don't want to pay millions just to keep track of Lucy who is always lost whenever we travel."
"You're okay with me tracking you?" Sabo asked clearly not buying it
"Just Lucy and Zoro are fine." Nami said "Everyone else has a fine sense of direction."
"I don't get lost!" Zoro yelled
"You're not fooling anyone Zoro. You even get lost even if you have to walk a straight line." Nami deadpan "You're hopeless."
"And you're okay with me tracking you wherever you go?" Sabo asked more calmly. Clearly he's asking Lucy
"Yeah, why not? If Sabo will be more relaxed with knowing where I am and if I'm okay then it's fine with me."
"But tracking you is clearly invading your privacy." Sabo explained. On the other side of the video call everyone snorted at Sabo's hypocrisy.
"But I'm not hiding anything?" Lucy said "And I trust Sabo with my life. Shishishishi."
"The next time we meet I'll give you a tracker and you're not allowed to remove it." Sabo said "Alright let's go, you clearly have too much adventure and you'll tell me all about it including the details on how you meet your friends."
"Eh, but I want to sleep!" Lucy whined, "Let's talk after sleeping."
Sabo groaned "Fine."
"Come on, let's sleep in your room. Shishishi."

"So none of you are really exaggerating." Koala said when 10 minutes passed and no voices can be heard outside
"Are you okay Koala?" Hack asked
"No." Koala admitted "My mind still refuses to believe everything. No sane person will befriend someone who kidnapped or drugged you." Koala sighs, calming herself "And no sane person would let anyone track you knowingly for the sake of peace of mind of the other party." Koala groaned "Lucy-chan is too innocent for the world! She must be protected at all costs!" she yelled
Hack sighed "And now we have another on with a severe sister-complex in the revolutionary." But to his horror, almost everyone in the meeting on the other side of the video call agreed with Koala. "Oh no, it's not just a sibling-complex. It's now a Lucy-complex." Hack groaned

It was safe to say that on this day, an 11 year old Lucy broke a lot of minds that day without even doing anything except simply existing.
