Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of the Roots and the Rock. Enjoy the 3500-word chapter. I don't own RWBY. Monty Oum and Rooster Teeth do.
He'd be a lot more curious as of the time. he slowly started to walk forwards while humming to himself. there was too much on his mind for him to simply question this for the time being. it wasn't as if he had more on his mind.
Yet? He couldn't exactly back down from his ideas either, he knew more than what was coming would be a lot worse than whatever he could tell them. The idea that they were ready for a full-blown-scale war at the end of the day was a lot more horror than what he had gone through before. It'd be a nightmare to go up against an enemy that could not be beaten through conventional firepower considering…
Well, the idea that there was no way to beat them through regular firepower. It wasn't exactly something that he knew they could control at the end of the day, there was more to this power than what had been seen and done. It had been a nightmare as of now.
Still? if he was going to think clearly? He needed to clear his mind before this was said and done. There was a lot more in the air… He felt something coming, but he couldn't entirely tell what the hell it was before this was as of the time being. there was so much to say and do.
He heard more footsteps in the hallway before he questioned what to say or do. He looked out into the void before he seemed to question what to say and do next. He crossed his arms before glancing out into the tundra below that seemed to dominate all of the areas.
"So, you like looking down there too?" Elm questioned as Atem nodded before he leaned on the wall. "Good. There's a lot more when all was said and done before all of this came down to it. There's so much to see down there. Isn't there? We don't know what to do next, big war is coming at the end of the day. We don't know what is going to come next… Sad, isn't it?" Atem heard from Elm.
"Sad to a degree. We need to be ready for anything and there's so damn much to be done. So much to handle when it came down to it." Atem stated before he rubbed at his temples before long.
There was a lot more to do next. He had been curious as to the hell that had been done when all was said and done. That'd be a lot more curious as of the time.
"There's so much work to be done before Atlas is safe," Elm said before she shrugged her meaty shoulders.
"It'd be a lot more interesting if it was," Atem stated before he waved his hands back and forth. "But this isn't a fairy tale. We both have roles to play, right?" Atem questioned before he hummed.
Elm waved her arms back and forth before she questioned what to do next. She nodded before resting one of her own hands on the window in front of her.
"Yeah," Elm stated before she nodded. "There's so damn much that we aren't in control of. Mantle, Atlas… Sometimes I'm scared the city is going to drop out of the sky." Elm stated before looking at her friend.
"This is going to be a lot worse than it looks. I'm starting to question if we can even beat them." Atem said while he hummed and rubbed the bridge of his nose.
"And what happens when the dust settles and nothing is left?" Atem said before he tilted his head before it came down to it.
There was so much to say and do before now. The time between their battle before now. The battle that this was going to be a lot more to say and do before now to say before now before he questioned before now being. Whatever little thing had been something that had to be done for the time being. She had been a lot more curious before now as of the time being. She had been a lot more to question before it came to do next. This had been something that had been done before now. whatever little thing that he had been before trying not to be bothered. This had been a lot more to say and do before he questioned before he seemed to tilt his head before now.
This had been something that had been a little odd before it came down to it. This had been a lot more to question what to do before he hummed before he tilted before he knew about it. there was a lot more to this than he had expected and he knew about how to best stop this as of the time being.
He only stared at the woman before she seemed to tilt her head towards her before now. This had been something that had been a lot more curious before it came down to it.
He had been a lot more curious than he had been a few seconds before now. it was something that had been a lot more reason to question what to say and do before now as of the moment… Odd to him for now.
Whatever little thing that had been brewing down in their minds had been odd. It had been very odd for the time being and both of them knew it at the end of the day. it had been something that shattered their brains as of the time being and made them rethink so much more than what he was used to. The annoyance in his being was killing him. He felt as if he was screaming inside of a tube… Then again? He had found this interesting no matter what. This had been something that needed to be addressed either way.
He had a lot more to lose before now. it had been something that this was a lot to handle and it would be always handled as of the time when all of this was done. He had been a lot more curious of the time before he knew what to do before now.
Still? There was so much he hadn't yet to do next before it came down to say. He had been a lot more to see and do next before now.
"Sometimes I wonder what the next day will be like when this is going to be done…" Elm heard as she tapped her foot on the ground before questioning what to do next.
This was an odd day at the moment and she knew that it would probably become weirder for now. It was going to be fun and exciting for now. There was so much to do next… And yet oh so little time to handle this for now. Whatever she had been done and dusted for now? it paled compared to what she was used to dealing with before now and she knew that more was going to mess up their path. More would end up being hard to handle for now. This would be a lot worse than now. The grim? The war to contain them? The fact this could all fall apart in a few seconds before now. What was to come next if this had been as of now? it had been something off for now and he knew it. The idea had made some sense before he seemed to question what to do next. He had been a lot more to say and do before now.
This had been a problem for a lot more than she had considered it. Elm wasn't stupid, nor was she an idiot when all had been said and done. This had been something fun for her despite her best idea. She had been a lot more focused on the idea. She had been a lot more as of the time being. This had been a lot more as of the question.
Still? She questioned before all was said and done. She had been interested in what was the general's plan to stop and protect people. She had been questioning what to say and do for now when it came down to their plans. sadly
Yet she questioned what to do next. Their plan had been something to consider for the time for the time being. What she did know was just how insane and over the top, for the time being, this was. What she did know was this was silly and crazy at the same time.
Still? if Atem was right for now? it had been a lot more interesting for now. it had been something. What he did know was just how little this had been for him.
She tapped her foot on the ground and stared at him. He had been curious for a moment about what was going to happen next. Atem rubbed at his temples before he looked down at the wall and then out into the tundra of winter that surrounded them. This had been a lot more interesting than this now.
"Sometimes I wonder if this war is going to be worth it at all," Atem stated before he seemed to look out the windows once more. "I just don't know what's going to happen then. I just don't know as of the time being. it's a lot odder than it should be for now and such." Atem said before he seemed as of the time being.
He had been a lot more interesting as of the time being. The idea had been something odd for a while and she knew it. She more than him what was at stake if they weren't fast enough, wasn't capable of battle. They had to be better than before now.
It'd be a lot more to question before she seemed to a lot more to happen as of the time before now.
Still? She had been a lot more to happen over time. This seemed to promise to be an odd little thing. A very odd battle that would be decided on the battlefield. She knew more than anything that it was an odd little thing for now.
There was probably going to be an odd little part of life when all had been decided before now. She knew for a fact that Atem was pondering something when she seemed to question her options.
"What's on the agenda when it comes down to it?" Atem questioned before he shrugged and looked at her with a hum as he seemed to tilt his head to the side.
He knew something odd was coming any little way. It honestly had been a little tough on soldiers like him before now. Whatever came next would be an odd little thing.
"Don't know, what about you? One of the best commandos in Atlas and you're asking a lowly specialist like me what comes next." Atem said before he ran a hand over his temple before now.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Elm asked as Atem seemed to nod and glance over at her for a second.
Atem said nothing before running a hand over his temples and humming at her. It made her smirk to see he was sweating from something so early into this part of the war. Then again? She had been a soldier for longer than most had which explained a LOT more than she seemed to think it did. The idea that he had gotten a drop like this was… Something else, she wasn't used to being on the ground like this.
It made her a lot more interested in what to handle as of the second. She crossed her arms across her chest before now. She knew her friend was going to be ok. She knew now how this had been done before now.
This had been a lot more focused on what to proceed onto the second. What proof she had been a lot more focused as of the time. She knew more than it had been a lot more to handle this before. It had been something to set their sights on with different branches or not. She was a lot more focused on the war with Salem and all of this. What came down to it? She had been a lot more worried about Atlas and all of this. Whatever came next would be harder than this.
Elm stayed quiet and simply turned to look at her friend… Her enemy, one who had stood in her way more times than she could argue had helped her. It'd be a hard little pill to swallow that they even had an enemy that could not be stopped in a real fight for now.
Yet? He was no commander, no soldier with command who had been in charge of millions of others, he had simply been a regular problem.
Yet? If he had even a little problem with it? well, it'd be a weird little problem when it came down to it at the end of the day. A very odd and weird problem that only he could handle for now.
Still? it came with being a soldier for now. The problem was just finding a balance as to what it'd be at the end of the day. He chuckled to himself now.
Elm continued her tapping as it seemed for now what to do next. What little he could do to ward it off had been a very weird little thing to fathom. It was going to be a weird little niche they found them in when it was questioned.
"You're at the top of the food chain, does that ever become a problem when it seemed to be." Elm heard as Atem shrugged his arms and looked up into the sky. "Your one of the soldiers before it was a lot more." Elm heard as he looked down at the sky.
He was oddly at peace for now. He was oddly at peace for now. He was a lot more questions about what happened as of now. He was a lot more interested in what he could do to handle it. the problem was simple. There were almost no real problems with this, no real thing to say and do at the end of the day.
"Are you going to be a lot more prepared for now?" Elm questioned to which he seemed to be on the edge.
He was a soldier; he knew his role. She knew her role just as much when it came down to as of now.
What it seemed to be before now was a small little thing. They were going to be soldiers; she was just a better soldier than him. It had been a question of how to stop Salem and her army.
"You are one of the best soldiers in the army. I'm not, I lost. I'm questioning what the general will decide for me to do next. I don't know what the problem will be." Atem stated before he frowned, rubbing at his arms awkward for now.
"And your nervous about what will come if you don't handle it properly, yes?" Elm stated to which Atem nodded and smiled while he understood what she was asking for now.
He nodded with all of his interest and sighed; a bit too turned off the topic at hand to concentrate on it at all. He knew more than she what would happen if none of them was able to properly focus when push came to shove. There were a lot more nightmares to come to this when all was said and done. The idea had a lot more holes in it when the nightmare was lifted and none of them could easily relax when all of it was said and done.
He rubbed at his temples with a sigh as he slowly started forward, curious as to how the game would play out. There was a lot more on the line if they failed, a lot more that hadn't been played out not set in stone for them. They had yet to even face the heart of the storm, yet? Here they were bracing for the worst of it day in and day out for now. It was a lot more terrifying as time seemed to go on for them all… Only time would tell how their game played out for now… Only time.
Atem sighed to himself with a roll of his eyes. There were always problems in their way, weren't there? If they hadn't? Well, they'd not be soldiers. Yet it vexed him that so many problems with this that it boggled the mind when push came to shove.
"I think I should go sooner or later. The General is going to have our heads if we have a problem with this. They had little to no problem getting this." Elm heard from Atem as he tilted his head.
He tilted his head, unsure of what to say next, there was a variety of problems. Whatever came next would test them more than in the past.
"You do know the general is going to be busy for a while. Yes? He's been trying to deal with the mass of questions towards the problem." Elm stated to which Atem frowned as he said nothing.
If he was busy? Well, that caused a lot more problems than he wanted it to. He needed another mission, something to take his mind off what was happening when it came down to it.
He had a lot more going on than it seemed if he was that busy at the time and it appeared to show how annoyed the new info worked.
He seemed as if he hadn't yet questioned before now what to handle what had handled before now. They had a lot more to prepare for now what to question before now.
He seemed to be unsure of whatever would be prepared for the worst. They had a lot more to focus on before now what to hum while he seemed to be tired, unsure what to do before.
"I'll leave you to it, ma'am," Elm stated before he frowned, unsure of what else to tell her before he sighed to himself, not willing to focus on what had been coming before now.
Nor what would be done in the future of what it seemed to be prepared for now. He was tired, unsure of whatever of what of the second while he hummed. There was a lot more to focus upon and this was becoming tired before he questioned now.
He was tired before he questioned what would become of all this. They had no real use for such little things, nor such trinkets would become better. If anything? They had more to do either way when all of this was said and done.
Still? Elm was a lot more to have focused upon now when it came down to it. He was unsure of what to have focused on now. This was just more to this puzzle than what little things they had left. He was focused upon now. He questioned what else for now before he still questioned how she could have done now. There was little in the way of problems and this wasn't something they could afford to focus upon for now.
He was a lot more to question for now for this came down to it. He hummed, looking at Elm who had continued to tap her feet on the ground, entranced in some sort of rhythm he didn't understand. It just made him laugh. This was something else. He was tired, too unsure of what to have been handling for now. He didn't know what else was going to happen, what the next moment in time would tell him what to have done next. He was too worn down and tired for anything resembling some sort of thing.
He hummed and questioned before he nodded while he was focused for now.
Still? he was questioned what else was too unsure and uncertain for now… still? if this game was on the same hook as he believed? Well? He'd not soon enough find a way to back down. He wouldn't allow something to focus upon now. He was something else going on here and just how badly he was needed.
