Chapter Three: Forming an Alliance.
Naruto could feel the yellow spider-girl slowing down. They must be close to the cave's entrance. He smiled to himself, 'so far, so good.' All the spider-girls had to do was put him down now. He wanted to be free from these bindings wrapped around him. He was not into bondage, and he was pretty sure that this would count as that. Shaking his head from the impure thoughts, he waited for his moment.
Then after a couple of minutes, they came to a stop. "Finally," Naruto thought. He could feel himself being lowered down from the back of the yellow spider-girl. The binding was undone, and he was set free. He could see all four of the spider-girls looking down at him. Phila stares into his eyes, and he stared into her largest ones, "How was the trip?"
Naruto looked around him. He was trying to get a good look at his surroundings. Spider webs everywhere you looked. The ground was wet, but at the same time, the cave was well lit. Thanks to glowing crystals that shined brightly. He nodded at her, "Not bad; you're quite the stable ride." Naruto jested.
Phila grins, "Ooh?"
"You are taking this extremely well." Pectia looked at him carefully. Naruto could tell she might be catching on.
Naruto faced her, "All for the good of the village. If this is what my fate has to be, so be it." He had to thank Danzō for that line. Apparently, he taught that to all of his Root Anbu back in the real Konoha. All for the good of the village. They were the roots of the tree. To stay in the shadows and protect the village quietly as an unknown hero. That was a shinobi. Strike from the shadows, never be noticed, never be captured unless expected, and never be thanked. Naruto stood up from the wrapping that laid around him.
"Oh, I love it when they sound all tough!" The red and black spider-girl cheered before her smile twisted into a very terrifying grin, "They scream the most!"
Naruto raised an eyebrow at her, "Creepy spider aside," Naruto inched away from her. "What is it that I'm here for exactly? Food? Babymaker? I just don't understand the term sacrifice all that well." He wanted to snort out a laugh, 'As if I don't know what it means.'
"That depends on our queen!" Phila tried to hide the hunger in her voice but failed pretty badly at it. Oh Kyuubi, was this what monster girls were like? Well, at least the quiet one is the nicest. He wanted to get this over with as soon as possible. He didn't like all the lying and acting! It was so not him. The moment he spots the queen, he is dropping the act. "Let's hurry! The longer we waste time, the more upset our queen will be."
They started moving once again as Naruto walked behind the tall yellow spider-girl. The rest followed behind him. Did they seriously think he was going to run away in a cave full of spider-girls? A place he had never been and would most certainly get lost in a few moments? An adventure book this was not! Where the hero somehow magically finds the way out of a labyrinth cave system they have never been!
It took what felt like an hour of navigating the cave and passing many spider-girls and their homes. They didn't have buildings but loosely built web structures in small cave openings along the wall. Some of them had wooden furniture, web sacks of clothes or armor, and corpses of humans, animals, or other smaller monster-girls lined the walls. Some of them didn't look dead or touched yet as they still struggled in webbing—the brutal reality of the world.
They continued down the way until they reached two massive twenty-foot tall doors. The wooden and paper doors were pushed open to the right side to reveal a wide-open area. Fine spider silk covered the walls in the bright colors of purple and gold. There were wooden panels on the ceiling above Naruto like trap door of some kind. The floor was made of shiny wooden planks. The room was bright and covered in many dimly lit fires, and a purple carpet led to a massive throne. Said throne had purple and gold drapes that hung around its sides and a fragile see-through golden cloth. Naruto's opinions on the spider-girls decreased as he saw the many skeletons wrapped into the room's decorations. The wall behind the thrown was covered in rough, sharp caving of a spider-girl symbol. Naruto felt he would cut himself if he even touched that wall. It was the only part of the throne room where he could see the cave's natural wall.
At the far end of the room, he saw his target—the queen of the spider-girls. The Spider Queen's top part of her body was mostly human. She has long black hair with red highlights. Her hair was done in a high ponytail with six red and gold needles holding it together; her face was framed by two long bangs that reached down to her breast. Her face was mostly human-like, minus the two pairs of extra eyes that went up above her two larger ones. All six of her eyes were pitch black that seemed to take in everything, endless black holes consuming the light. Her teeth were sharp as sharp could be, giving her a more deadly appearance.
Her upper body was covered in a beautiful spider silk kimono. Said Kimono was black trimmed in gold and red. It was also showing off a fair amount of her chest as it hangs loose. It was cut short at the belly button to show off her stomach. Below the open space was a red garment like cloth that dangled right in front of her private area.
Her lower body was all spider. A black piece of clothing covered part of her back. Her entire spider body was the color black too. Her legs were thin and long. She stood taller than the rest of the spiders-girls before her. She gave off a very deadly appearance. She was massive. At least fifteen feet tall.
It was time to make the play. With a chakra enforced leap, Naruto soared over the lead spider girl. He summoned twenty clones right before he touched down. His disguise disappeared, and his current outfit was replaced with his ANBU gear. His clones encircled the surprised royal guard as he marched towards the queen.
The queen was clearly shocked by the turn of events as her happy smile faded fast and was quickly replaced with a curious but cautious frown. "What is the meaning of this!?" She asked, standing up from her throne.
"Our deal must be renegotiated," Naruto said, not stopping his stride forward. He could tell she was confused. After all, she had never seen him like this. Even under her spy's careful gaze, she had no way of finding out what he indeed was.
"You dare approach me in such a disrespectful manner!" Naruto stopped at the foot of the stairs that lead up to the throne.
Naruto couldn't hide his teasing tone, "Only to get a better look at the queen that demands me to be her sacrifice."
The queen blocked her face with a spider silk fan. "You break into my kingdom and demand renegotiations! Why I have never been so disrespected in all of my life." She claimed to try to hide her true intentions.
"Let us cease this farce. I was brought here by your actions and your royal guard. Did you not ask for me personally? Well, here I am, your grace. I'm sorry if I bring more baggage than you were expecting." He grinned up at the massive spider-girl. "After all, I believe I have a better deal than you could possibly imagine. I didn't come here with hostile intentions, but ones of peace between us at long last." Naruto finished stopping before her.
"Peace, we are already at peace. Yet here you are, thinking you can pull a fast one with these illusions of yours. That and on whose authority do you come here to negotiate?" She looked at her royal guard and frown when she saw that the clones were actually able to combat them as separate entities as a fight broke out, "Stand down, you clowns of a Royal Guard!
"I am here on the authority of the Hokage of Konoha. You already know of my name but allow for me to reintroduce myself. I am Uzumaki Naruto, Commander of Konoha's Military." He said, giving a bow to the queen before looking back into her eyes. "I assure you, my clones are authentic. That, however, is not what's important. What I have is an offer that you and your kingdom. Once more, I am here to discuss peace. I am sure you have noticed my village's rapid growth. I only wish to continue its growth with an offer to our protectors. I ask, why must you be hidden away from the sight of our people? They know of your deeds, your acts of honor in protecting us. Now that we have grown wealthy, we wish to offer you more."
That is what got the queen's attention. He could see the greed in her eyes. "I will be willing to discuss this only if you make your clones disappear."
Naruto looked back at the spider-girl royal guard. He could tell they could easily break free of the encirclement but didn't. They were waiting. Naruto snapped his fingers, and all the clones disappeared in white smoke.
The queen sat back down, "Stay where you are." She orders the four spider girls that had started moving behind Naruto. "What is it that you plan to offer me?"
"Konoha's first point is redrawing the lines between ourselves. We wish to have an open relationship with the spider-girls. As we speak, the religion of Ilias falls in Konoha. We are willing to accept you into our lands with open arms."
"Hmph, is that all? We already have been able to do that."
"No, not inside the village you have not. Tell me, wouldn't you want to see it now? Now that it has been built up. It's more open-minded. You no longer have to limit yourselves to your caves. Of course, this is not the only thing we offer. We offer jobs to spider-girls for military service and trading for fine spider silk. Then there is also the population itself. We have grown, and many men want wives and or partners. Think of it, instead of having to work on catching a man, then come up to you instead because they want to?"
"These offers sound intriguing, but how will I still rule? Do you plan on me submitting my power?"
"The Hokage has final say over village politics. However, you will remain in charge of the spider-girls. You, after all, know what your people's needs are far more than we do. The Hokage is a title for the strongest person in a village and also the wisest. He was not elected but put there due to his power and mind. Should you wish to claim the title, you must beat him in single combat."
The queen grinned a little wider at that. Naruto had to refrain from grinning also. If she had plans of beating Danzo for Hokage, she would learn very quickly that she was in for the toughest fight of her life.
"What do you get out of this?"
"Land, more resources, increase of population, better relations with the spider-girls, and far more protection." He said, not hiding the benefits they would get.
"Very well, I wish to speak more about these new terms and offers with your…"
"Hokage," Naruto tolled, answering her unasked question.
"Yes, your Hokage." She smiled sweetly at him. She tilted her at him waved him closer.
Naruto's lips formed a thin line. "Very well, I shall inform-" He paused, hearing her give a small chuckle as she waved her fan.
"Oh, were you under the impression that I was going to let you leave?" Her smile became threatening, and Naruto now understood what was probably going to happen next.
Naruto crossed his arms, "Yes, yes I was."
"Oh my, did you think I would go without a sacrifice?" Her fan snapped close.
"I thought you said-" began the short red spider-girl. Only to be cut off by a harsh glare from the queen. "S-sorry, your majesty!" She squeaked out an apology.
"Well, how about this, if I fight your royal guard, all four of them at the same time you let me go."
The chamber broke out in laughter. The queen pointed down at him mockingly. "You, a super short and weak human, think you could take on my four royal guards?!" She grinned down at him, "No, I have decided you will be my husband. I will not allow you to escape from here! Guards!" From the ceiling, panels opened up, and spider girls crawled around up on the roof. They filled the room, making a circle around him. Naruto stayed impassive as he watched himself be surrounded. "Do not think I don't understand why you are here now. You want us to submit to your will, your village. To think such arrogance would come from them! After I make you mine, we will remind them of their place, away, below, or in us! Seize him!"
Naruto looked around the room to see that the only spider-girl that wasn't laughing was the brown one. No, she was eyeing Naruto up with a cautious gaze. The spider girls shot their silk at him. Naruto didn't defend and allowed himself to be completely covered in silk. The queen laughed, "Hohoho, talks a good game but can't-"
Her eyes widened as the silk ball that covered the human of choosing burst into flames. An orange mist filled the room. A dreadful feeling of hate, rage, and death filled the room. The silk sack was melted and blown away, revealing Naruto.
He didn't look the same anymore. He was covered in orange chakra with a large tail and animal ears. His whiskers were more defined, his fingernails were claw-like, his eye color had changed to a deep red with slits, and his teeth were shaper. He looks somewhat fox-like. Then his voice had become more profound as he growled out, "By the end of the day, you will either submit or perish under the might of Konoha, Spider Clan."
Naruto leaped at the first closest spider-girl. He caught her by surprise as he grabbed one of her front legs and pulled her down. This pull caused the left side of her to bend down as he sent a powerful punch to her jaw. The impact of the blow launched her off the ground and into the ceiling. She smacked her into a group of other spider-girls. They all fell from the top and crashed into a heap on the floor.
Two of the guards were on him a second later. He ducked under snatch and a tapered leg. He grabbed one of their legs and the other arm and slammed into each other before tossing them away. He rolled away from his current spot and just missed being crushed underneath Phila. He jumped on her back and started clawed at her back. She let out a scream as her legs clasped from underneath. He sent a kick to the side of her head, causing her to roll away.
A spider string was shot and became attached to his arm. It could have melted away, but Naruto wasn't going to let an opportunity like that slide by. He grabbed the string before his chakra could melt it. He sent chakra to his feet to stick to the pulled-on Nicoda string and flung her around like a ball of stone attached to a metal chain.
"Please- Please- Please no more! I-" The smaller spider-girl cried each time she was slammed into the floor, wall, or other spider girls. "Stop!"
Pectia charged at him, fully ready to rip him apart. She lunged at him; he slammed Nicoda into her before letting go of the string, sending both girls flying in the direction of the queen. The queen barreled out the way of the two fast-moving, screaming royal guards. They crashed through the throne, and Pectia's back slammed into the sharp back wall. A silent scream escaped her as she slid down, leaving a trail of greenish blood.
Before Naruto could move in and attack more spider-girls that were shrinking away from him in fear, a thick string of spider silk snatched up his leg and pulled his leg out from under him. Naruto slammed face-first into the hard wooden floor. He tried to jump to his feet, only to be brought down once again. He flipped himself over and growled at the girl, only for the next second to find sharp legs stabbing down into his belly and right leg—blood gushed from his mouth. The spider-girl only shook when more of that unbearable energy poured from the boy. A second orange tail appeared and wrapped around the spider-girls midsection before tightening. There was a crunch sound. The spider girl screamed, and he flung her at the last string holder that kept him pinned to the floor.
Naruto finally caught a glimpse of the spider that had him grounded. It was the last Royal Guard standing. Her string was super thick, and it wasn't melting fast at all. She pulled the line, and he slides across the floor. She then used the same tactic he had used against Nicoda. She smacked him against the ceiling, the floor, into the torches' burning fires and then sent him hurtling head-first through the air into a cave wall. The wall collapse from the impact!
Rocks fell and completely buried the hole he had made with his unexpected flight.
Reclusa sighed; that hadn't gone entirely as planned. She knew the boy was different when he could make stable clones of himself, but she would have never guessed that he could do something like this.
"No, that can't be." Her eyes widened when more of that orange power leaked through the rocks. 'He hit the wall head first! That should have killed him!'
They only five seconds of rest before Naruto exploded from the ruble as a third tail appeared behind him. All of his injuries were gone, and he was fully healed. 'That- What is he?!' She yelled within herself. He let out a feral roar that sent some of the closer girls blasting away from him. 'I can't beat something like this! I need to leave! Forget this!' No one moved an inch as they awaited all waited for each other to make a move.
He got on all four and burred in one of the spider-girl closest to him. Reclusa decided at that moment, 'Now while he isn't paying attention to me!' She took off running away from the fight as fast as she could. 'I don't care much about the queen anyway! I just want the mate she promised me!' She was almost at the door when something grabbed her leg and pulled her back, 'No!' She mentally screamed as she was dragged slowly across the floor. She felt the heat of whatever was grabbing her and looked back to see smoke coming off her leg. An orange tail was wrapped around her leg!
With great force, she was jerked back with enough power to send her spiraling across the floor. When she came to a stop, she stood up, but her back leg felt awful. She grimaced in pain. 'It burns, it burned me badly.'
She froze in her place when he appeared before her. His hands locked onto her shoulders, his legs wrapped around her waist, his tails waving around wildly fling, smacking, and stabbing other spider-girls. Those hateful red eyes were burning into hers. "I surrender," Reclusa hurriedly said out of fear.
His head leaned back, then shot forward like a rock from a slingshot into her nose. Pain erupted from her nose, as did a mixture of blood and snot. Tears freely fell from her eyes. "Please stop! I give up!" He leaned back and headbutted her a second, "No- please," a third; on the fourth headbutt, her world went black.
The queen watched with horror as her guards, soldiers, and regular hunters were beaten brutally—all in the hopes of stopping her rampaging blond husband. He wasn't hers yet, but she didn't know if she could beat him after seeing this. His raw power might just be too much to handle, especially if there was more power in him than what he was showing. Then there was the fact that her girls were lying all over the ground. If she moved to fight him, she would no doubt crush many of her fellow spider-girls.
She watches as he put down Reclusa and turned to face the last remaining of her hunters. "Enough!" She called out in the loudest voice she could muster. The was no point in fighting anymore. If he had been killing her subjects, that would be one thing. As far as that went, he had hadn't killed any of them. He had beat the absolute stuffing out of them, yes, but that's all he needed to do.
"You have proven your strength, Uzumaki Naruto, Commander of Konoha's Military." She declared tactfully using the male's title. He had earned her respect. The fighting had stopped, and all eyes were on her. Those red eyes glared up at her. He bared his teeth at her and took a step towards her. She raised one of her large hands. "I will not fight you, for if I did, I would ruin your hard work of keeping my subjects alive."
He stopped in tracks and lost his feral snarl, "Do you submit to Konoha?"
"I do," She said, bowing her entire body before him. The other girls didn't know what to do.
"But queen, we can still-" SOmeone had the sheer audacity to speak up against her decree!
With rage, she shoots up from her long, "Silence! I have made my decision! If he wanted to, he could have killed all of you. Stand down and get out of my chambers. Take the wounded with you too!" She dismissed her unruly subjects. She looked back at Naruto and noticed his orange cloak was gone and his beautiful blue eyes were back. "What is to become of my kingdom?"
The blond shrugged at her, "What I said before."
'What?' She thought. She shook her head, "You mean you won't take us in as slaves?"
Naruto looked confused now, "What, I never said that."
"Yes, but we tried to fight and take over your village. Surely we have to be punished in some manner?" The queen told him It would seem odd for the humans not to try and tule over then with an iron fist.
The blond rubbed his chin in thought, "Ahh, your right. The Hokage would try something like that if he knew." He pauses as an idea hit him, "Oh," He slammed his fist into his open palm, "I just won't tell him I got into a fight, and this way, you can keep the same deal we offered!"
She was dumbfounded at that silly little grin he shined her. Was he really going not to tell his leader of what had happened for her peoples' sake? "You are a kind individual, she bowed to him once more, Then I shall fully accept." She sent the blond a charming smile, "Go back to your Hokage, and tell him I shall meet with him in person in two weeks personally.
Naruto gave a swift bow, "Thank you, Queen-"
She knew he was fishing for her name. She gave a soft look to him, "My name is Queen Williow the Frist; I can't wait to see you again, Naruto. Now go, ask one of the hunters how to get out."
Naruto waved her goodbye, "Yeah, see, in two weeks, it was a pleasure to meet you!"
"No, it was mine." She said flirtily.
Author's Notes: Surprised? So am I! Here is chapter three after like what, almost three years? What a welcome back to fanfiction! A new story with two chapters and an update to somebody up there likes me, now this!
