Master Fighter Battles 3 Chapter 14 Attack on the Palace

(Meanwhile, back at the Snowpoint Palace, a scroll-wrapped arrow is flying in that direction when Infernape intercepts it. When he lands, the floor is full of other arrows as he goes to give it to Urshifu).

Master Infernape: It is from the eastern province.

Master Urshifu: (Reads the scroll). Master Serviper. Master Tyranitar. Master Braviary. All of them. (Breaks an arrow in half). In every village from the sea to here... every expert in Sinnoh... has vanished.

Master Infernape: Likely they are all at a party?

Master Dragonair: Infernape...

Master Infernape: I did not get an invitation either. (Urshifu knows what this means and what is likely to come next).

Master Urshifu: Marshadow has taken their chi. We are all that stand between him and the knowledge Zacian left in our care. (Urshifu, Infernape, Dragonair, and Blaziken walk down the stairs). The villagers. Evacuated?

Master Blaziken: Done, master.

Master Urshifu: Corviknight? Buzzwole?

Master Blaziken: Still nothing. (Then Dragonair Sees something that makes her gasp in shock).

Master Dragonair: Wait, it is them! (A jade covered Corviknight and Buzzwole zooms by and circles around the Snowpoint Temple, eventually flying towards Urshifu and the others. Urshifu panics at the sight of this).

Master Urshifu: No! (Corviknight and Buzzwole stand by, letting Marshadow make his dramatic entrance while swinging his Arms around to warm them up for the battle ahead). Marshadow!

Marshadow: (Looks at Zacian's statue). Nice. Very tacky.

Master Urshifu: How dare you set foot on these grounds!

Marshadow: Look at your pathetic fools. Groveling at the feet of Zacian the Magnificent. (Blaziken does not like Marshadow's mockery of their Master one bit and will not stand for it).

Master Blaziken: You are not to speak his name.

Marshadow: I am not ready, little kitten? (Blaziken and the others growl in anger and warning as they get into a Battle stance), I fought by his side; I loved him like a brother. And he... betrayed me. Well... now I will destroy everything he has created! (Launches his Shadow Punch attacks at Urshifu and the others).

Master Urshifu: Go! (Urshifu and the others dodge Marshadow's attack and then counterattacks. With Infernape attacking with Flame Wheel, only for Marshadow to counter with his Protect attack to deflect him away. Then Blaziken Strikes with Shadow Claw only for Marshadow to counter with Shadow Punch sending her flying away. Next Dragonair uses her Dragon Tail attack which Marshadow dodges and strikes her with Rock Tomb sending her flying into a Wall. Then Blaziken comes roaring back with her Blaze Kick attack, which Marshadow counters with a powerful Mega Kick sending her flying away from him. After that Urshifu comes to Strike Urshifu with a Powerful Surging Strikes attack but Urshifu dodges as Infernape tries and fails to hit him with a Flamethrower attack. As Marshadow counters with another Rock Tomb attack. Then Marshadow delivers a devastating Thunder Punch attack to Urshifu. But he gets away before he can take too much damage from it. Then While Marshadow is not looking, Blaziken delivers a Powerful Blaze Kick attack delivering that leaves Marshadow with a Burn. Marshadow screams in pain and releases a yellow shockwave of chi is set free from his Shadow Punch. Then Blaziken lands poised to continue fighting if necessary).

Master Blaziken: How is that for a little kitten? (Marshadow becomes enraged at this Quip and commands Corviknight and Buzzwole to fight Blaziken, Dragonair, and Infernape. Corviknight goes and strikes Blaziken with his Steel Wing Attack sending her flying away as Urshifu watches devastated. Before he looks to see Jaded Buzzwole taking a part of a statue to throw at a shocked Dragonair. Luckily, she dodges at the last second. Then Urshifu fights Marshadow, using his Surging Strikes attack landing a successful blow before dodging his Shadow Punch attack and his following Shadow Punches come up against his Protect attack).

Master Urshifu: I will not let you destroy Zacian's memory.

Marshadow: Why not? He destroyed mine! (Meanwhile, with the others fighting with Infernape grabbing Buzzwole, not wanting to fight his friend).

Master Infernape: Buzzwole, it is me! Your bestie! (Buzzwole strikes Infernape and hits him with multiple Mach Punch's. Then Buzzwole tosses Infernape back on forth on the ground. Before he flings Infernape at Blaziken and Dragonair to attack them with his body). Sorry, Blaziken. Sorry. Sorry! Sorry! Sorry. (Urshifu dodges Marshadow's Shadow Ball attacks and jumps into the air to deliver his Surging Strike attack. However, as he is descending on Marshadow he loses focus by the sight of Zacian's jade pendant and becomes a victim of his Shadow Punch knocking him into the Wall just before the Zacian Statue. Then Blaziken runs to his Side to ask).

Master Blaziken: Urshifu!

Marshadow: (Raises hand as it glows Green). Bring them to me. (Buzzwole drags Infernape to Marshadow while Corviknight does the same to Dragonair. Marshadow uses his Spectral Theif attack to have Infernape and Dragonair transform into jade pendants as he laughs Maniacally. Blaziken is about to go after Marshadow, but Urshifu pulls her in closely and says worriedly for them both).

Master Urshifu: No! You must warn Snorlax. (But Blaziken does not want to abandon her master like this).

Master Blaziken: Master, please! (Marshadow flings a Shadow Punch between Urshifu and Blaziken, knocking both back in different directions. Blaziken goes flying into a grassy meadow full of bushes, while Urshifu goes flying into another nearby patch of grass not that far from where Blaziken is. Marshadow then wraps his Shadow Punches around Zacian's statue).

Marshadow: I will show you the true power of chi, brother. (With the power of chi, he lifts the statue from the ground, making Urshifu cry out dreadfully).

Master Urshifu: No! (Marshadow proceeds to use Zacian's Statue as a Weapon to swing through the Snowpoint Temple destroying it, leaving it in ruins. Urshifu watches the horrible and devastating sight before him heartbreakingly before Marshadow tossing the statue down the stairs as Marshadow watches grinning in Joy at seeing the destruction before enjoying it immensely. As the Statue keeps falling down the stairs it breaks into pieces leaving only the head intact. Urshifu cannot believe the destruction that just took place as he gasps for breath, feeling disappointment in his failure to not protect his master's legacy but the most prominent place to him). Zacian, forgive me. (Marshadow approaches the Crushed and Heartbroken Urshifu Chuckling evilly with pride in his actions. Marshadow lifts Zacian's jade pendant deciding to mock Urshifu a little to add insult to injury).

Marshadow: Hmm? What do you say, Zacian? Do you forgive him? (Urshifu is so weak and tired from fighting he finds it hard to get up as he is breathing heavily).

Master Urshifu: You may have destroyed the Snowpoint Temple, but you will never succeed. There will always be someone to stop you.

Marshadow: Who? The Snorlax? His chi is strong, but... it will not be enough. He will meet the same fate as you.

Master Urshifu: No...

Marshadow: And so, will every Hisui Pokémon in that village. (Marshadow uses his Spectral Theif attack and begins Transforming Urshifu into a jade pendant. From a safe distance, behind a rock Blaziken watches this worriedly. Blaziken, also exhausted from the fight and is holding her injured arm due to the massive fall she was in. Then Marshadow finishes turning Urshifu into a jade pendant). Yes... (Blaziken seeing this grabs a jade scroll and says very worriedly).

Master Blaziken: Snorlax, I hope you are ready. (Blaziken runs off hoping that it is not too late to save everyone from Marshadow).
