A/n: Back like I left something (because I did I left you guys hanging my bad) anyway here's chapter 7 hope you enjoy it Tell me what you think

"Kuvira!' Asami shrieked scrambling for something to cover her naked form.

Asami tripped while franticly grabbing at the wet clothes she had hanging on a low branch to cover herself. The position she fell in made the situation even worse. Kuvira quickly covered her eyes with her hand and turn her head away from a very exposed Asami.

"Oh my Spirits! I-I'm so sorry I didn't mean to." Kuvira stuttered shaking her other hand to explain.

Asami was bright red. She had just found the small clearing moments ago and figured she'd be safe to disrobe there. Apparently she was wrong and this was one of the most embarrassing moments of her life.

"Go away!" Asami screamed flailing her arms around.

Kuvira was completely shocked and her cheeks were tinted pink. The earth under her feet sunk and slid back rapidly. She had never been so disorientated in her life and that's including the weird visions she had while in the forest cutting down the spirit vines. Embarrassment seemed so foreign to her now that she believed she was bending without even knowing it.

Kuvira tumbled to the ground because of the jerky movement of the rock under her feet but she kept her eyes closed.

"I'm so sorry. I'm leaving. I'm sorry." Kuvira repeated to Asami before getting up, eyes still closed, and heading in the opposite direction of the fallen engineer.

Korra had lunch finished by the time the two women came back to their new campsite. Asami and Kuvira had returned from their impromptu clothing change on opposite sides of the fire pit. The energy had literally changed and Korra could feel it in the air.

"Uh, did something happen?" Korra asked.

"Nothing Happened!"

"We're fine!

Kuvira and Asami spoke at the same time.

"Okay, well that sounds like a lie." Korra said bluntly eyeing the two women.

"It's fine, Korra. Don't worry about it." Asami said sitting down next to her.

She started making her plate while Kuvira shuffled awkwardly to the fire pit to do the same. Korra felt the strange vibe pulsing off of both women like waves but she didn't speak on it again. Asami would explain whatever this feeling was in time.

"Ookay then, while I made some water tribe food for us. Kya must have packed it in for us. Is this the first time you've had water tribe food Kuvira?" Korra said trying to shift the painfully awkward conversation.

"Uh, yeah actually. We didn't have many water tribers in the Earth Empi-, I mean Kingdom. Mostly fire nation settlers, so." Kuvira ended.

"Well, you're in luck. Five Flavor soup is one of my specialties." Korra said smiling.

Kuvria smiled back and began eating. Aside from Korra none of the women spoke up much during lunch. Korra was about to ask what had actually happened when they left to go change when a mango looking spirit dropped from the trees, into Korra's bowl of soup.

"Whoa!" Korra yelped.

"You're back!" The spirit called out gleefully.

Korra laughed and helped him out of her bowl, "Yeah I am."

"So that was you who made the new sprit portal?" He asked.

"Haha, yeah well I had a little help." Korra said looking over to Kuvira.

The mango spirit followed her eyes and saw who Korra was referring to.

"What's she doing here!" He asked, his happy demeanor changing very quickly after seeing Kuvira.

"Um, well she is going to live here from now on." Korra explained.

"What why?! She was the one cutting down the spirit vines." He spoke again.

This was not where Korra expected the conversation to go when this cute little spirit dropped into her lap.

"Yes, she did do that but she knows that was bad and is sorry about it. Aren't you Kuvira?" Korra asked turning her head towards her.

"Yes, I am-"

"She shouldn't be here!" The spirit said getting angry.

"Hey calm down little guy. I understand that she did some very bad things but she is going to try and fix things. She's here because the spirit world is the best place for her to learn respect for the spirits." Korra replied, trying to keep the spirit from changing into a dark spirit.

"I know I messed up. I didn't respect the spirits and I tried to use your energy for my own personal gain. I understand if my words won't change how you feel about my behavior but I promise I'm trying to turn over a new left." Kuvira added.

The mango spirit didn't seem convinced but he didn't change so Korra thought that was a plus.

"Hey I have an idea! How about to show you that Kuvira really is sorry and what's to make up for what she's done you have her help you with something. Is there anything Kuvira might be about to assist you with?" Korra asked the mango spirit.

He thought for a bit with his hand placed against his face trying to see if Kuvira's help was actually needed.

"Well me and a few other spirits have always wanted a closer stream to run down by own home. All of the badger moles live in the material world so we can't ask them to earthbend a new path for the water to flow. I guess she can help with that." He said.

"Great! Kuvira is a master earthbender you guys will have a new stream in to time," Korra said excitedly, looking between the spirit and Kuvira.

Kuvira blushed at the praise, "Uh, so where do you want this new stream?" Kuvira asked.

"It's not too far from here. I'll show you," The mango spirit said walking off into the forest.

"Okay, well you can go help him with that and meet us back here when it's done. Asami and I still have a mini trip to go on." Korra said to Kuvira.

"Alright then. I'll see you guys later then," Kuvira said awkwardly waving goodbye to Asami and Korra.

"So are you going to tell me what that was all about or no?" Korra asked Asami as she turned around.

"Maybe later, I'm more curious about this place you're taking me." Asami said dodging the question.

"Oh you'll love it, I promise." Korra said smiling.

"Alright, lead the way Avatar Korra." Asami said extending her arm out in front of her.

"Well of course Miss Sato, this way." Korra said with her best impersonation of one of Asami's butlers.

The two burst out giggling and began their walk.

"Do I really need to close my eyes?" Asami whined.

"Yes, you do. I want this to be a real surprise, so close em!" Korra said sternly.

"Ugh, okay. Just don't have me trip over anything," Asami said taking Korra's hand and closing her eyes.

The walk wasn't very long, mostly because in the spirit world you usually just end up where you want to be. Knowing this Korra wanted Asami to close her eyes so she couldn't see anything until they got to the perfect spot.

"Okay, you can open them," Korra said.

Asami opened her eyes and saw three floating mountains. They were all covered in trees with beautiful pink and purple leaves and the middle one had a waterfall that flowed right over the edge of the mountain.

"Wow. It's beautiful Korra" Asami said awestruck.

"That's not even the best part," Korra said smiling widely, "Come on, let's get a closer look."

"How are we supposed to get up there?" Asami asked confused.

"I have my glider.' Korra said opening up the compact glider Asami made for her awhile back.

"I didn't even think you used that." Asami said.

"Well usually I use the one I made with the water tribe colors but this one was easier to pack." Korra answered, and prompted Asami to wrap her arms around her.

"Hold on tight!" Korra said before creating a gust of wind and taking off towards the mountain.

Asami turned her head to look from Korra's neck to look beneath them as she flew. She had to admit flying like this was sort of scary but having her arms wrapped around Korra's tones frame made her feel secure. She could hear the animal spirits that most live on the mountains below them and gazed at the large valley below. It was full of lush green grass and technicolored plants that could be mistaken for trees.

"This feels like a dream." Asami whispered.

"Well if we're dreaming it must be a good one if you're in it." Korra said never taking her eyes off her destination.

Asami laughed, "You're such a cornball."

"Haha, yeah but I'm your cornball, so you have to love me." Korra added.

"I do." Asami said.

"You do what?" Korra asked confused.

"Love you. I really do. I don't think I've ever felt this way before. You add light to my life, whenever I'm surrounded in darkness. I mean look at where we are, what we're doing. I never would have been able to do this with anyone else. Feel so free and vulnerable but protected at the same time." Asami explained.

Korra landed at the base of the waterfall when Asami stopped speaking. Although Asami no longer needed to be so close to Korra she didn't loosen her grip. Korra looked into Asami's eyes and brought her hand up to caress her check.

"I love you too Asami. More than you know. I don't know where'd I'd be without you." Korra crashed her lips against Asami's tired of waiting to feel them against hers.

Korra dropped her glider to the ground and placed her other arm around Asami's back, bringing them closer together. Eager to feel more of her, Korra slipped her tongue into Asami's mouth causing Asami to moan into hers. Their tongues moved widely against each other as their as their pants and moans grew louder. Asami broke away from Korra's fierce kisses and placed her hands on Korra's chest.

"I need you," Asami husked with lidded eyes.

Korra shivered understanding just what Asami meant. Korra guided Asami down to the grassy ground beneath them. Korra hovered over Asami with her leg in between her thighs, propping herself up with one arm. She stared into Asami's emerald eyes and smiled.

"You're so beautiful," Korra uttered.

Asami returned the smile and leaded up to kiss her. Suddenly all of the confidence drained out of Korra as Asami began unbuttoning her shirt. Asami felt the change in Korra's breathing and looked up at her.

"What's wrong, honey?" Asami whispered.

"I've never done this before. With anyone. I'm don't really know what I should do." Korra said bashfully.

"Just do what feels right."

"It's just a little stream, they said. It won't take that long, they said. More like I want you to build me a damn river." Kuvira muttered to herself.

This little 'sprit acceptance project' Korra had her go on was started to piss her off. She was contemplating whether or not she really cared if the spirits would forgive her or not. She'd been out here for hours moving around rocks and widening the stream and making it smaller every time one of the spirits changed their minds on just how big their new waterway should be.

Kuvira was tired hungry and so damn hot. The one good thing that came out of this spirit punishment, as Kuvira was calling it now because that's obviously what it was, was that she finally got to bend again. It wasn't the fine elegant metal that she longed for but it was still bending and she loved it.

The feel of the earth under her moving whichever way she willed it made her feel powerful again. She wasn't that scared little girl anymore or the defeated Great United, she was Kuvira Fang, a master of her element.

"We're almost there the river is just up ahead." The mango spirit said.

Surprisingly he had been following her up the mountain as she carved out a new river bed for them. Kuvira figured he didn't want to have anything to do with her besides bark orders but he was actually very nice and talkative. Once they got further away from the other spirits that is. He gave Kuvira the cold shoulder for a while curiosity got the better of him.

"How did you learn to earthbend?" Mango asked Kuvira.

"My dad taught me. Well he started to teach me anyway." Kuvira answered after bending a bolder out of her way.

"What does that mean?" He inquired.

Kuvira signed and stopped to take a break. She climbed out of the new river bed and bent her a chair from the ground.

"My dad was a coal miner and an earthbender. When I found out I could bend too he started teaching me so I could help him in the mines when I got a little older but he stopped when I was around 7 or 8." Kuvira explained.

"Why'd he stop?"

"He said I was a horrible bender. That I had no skill and probably wouldn't be able to use my bending for anything useful. He was ad my mom couldn't have any more kids and give him the son that he actually wanted so he took it out on me." Kuvira elaborated.

"Oh, I'm sorry that must have been really sad for you." The mango spirit said.

"It was but it was a long time ago. I'm over it now. Besides I used his hurtful words to drive me to become the earthbender I am today. I proved him wrong and that's all that matters to me." Kuvira said matter of factly.

"You're lying but that's okay. Maybe Korra was right, maybe you need to be in the spirit world." The mango spirit said bluntly.

"What?! How would you know if I were lying? You know what it doesn't matter." Kuvira said angrily.

She hopped back down into the new soon to be stream and started craving out the waterway again.

"I'm not lying. I'm over it. That happened years ago I was a little girl then, I've grown past that." Kuvira said stopping to wipe sweat from her brow.

Turn her head away from the mound of dirt she was pushing towards the river up ahead, she of glimpse of something moving in the forest.

"Is that…me?" Kuvira said staring at the child standing in the forest wearing ratty earth kingdom clothing.

Kuvira blinked her eyes and looked away but before she could turn back to the figure standing in the trees she broke through to the river and the rushing water swept her away down back down the mountain.
