Chapter 1: Welcome Contestants
Monica Striker stood at the edge of a beach near a road. "Hey there, viewers, and welcome back to Totally Epic. Soon we'll be meeting our contestants, which I'm sure you're all excited for. I know I am."
Just then a gray tour bus pulled up.
"And here they are now, let's meet them."
The first one that came off the bus was a 17-year-old guy. He was tall and lanky, with tan skin, with green eyes, and long blonde hair in dreadlocks. He wore an orange beanie, a yellow t-shirt with a black jacket over it, blue jeans, and black socks and black Nike's.
"Joshua, welcome." Monica greeted.
"Hey, Monica great to be here." Joshua replied.
"Just step over there please." Monica instructed.
Joshua did so, and then next contestant got out. Then next one was an average height 16-year-old girl with tan skin, brown hair in a high ponytail with side bangs, brown eyes, and had an hourglass figure and a larger chest.
She wore a black tank top under a black and white plaid long sleeves shirt, blue jeans, a black choker and white sneakers.
"Magdalena, glad you made it."
"Nice to meet you Monica, thanks for picking me."
Magdalena stood by Joshua, and waited. Then another one came stepped off the bus. It was a 17-year-old guy who was average height, skinny, wide shoulders, and a high forehead. He had pale skin, long red hair with a strand of white hair on the right, which he wore in a bun, and he had one blue eye and one red eye.
He wore a white t-shirt, red jacket, green jeans, and blue sneakers.
"Jaime, glad to see you made it." Monica said to him.
"Thanks." Jaime replied, and he went over with the others.
Then a girl stepped off the bus. She was 16, short and had a medium body. Her skin was tan, she had black wavy hair, and brown eyes. She was wearing a white summer shirt, blue jeans, high heeled summer shoes with marigolds on them, and had a sunflower hair clip in her hair.
"Everyone, this is Yasmine." introduced Monica.
"Hi. Thanks for having me." Yasmine said, shyly.
Next came a 17-year-old boy. He was tall, muscular, had light skin, black hair with a flat top, and silver eyes. He wore a black tank top, gray athlete shorts, white socks, and black athlete shoes with white trimming.
"Our next contestant is Zachary." "Hey, Monica. Great to finally meet you." Zachary told her.
"The pleasure is mine." Zachary went over, and waited.
Next off the bus was a 16-year-old girl who was average height, was thin with a small chest, had suntanned skin, medium length platinum blonde hair with curly tips, and bangs covering her right eye, and gray eyes.
She wore a red short sleeves shirt that was tied up around her waist so it showed her stomach, denim blue short shorts, black cowgirl boots and a hat, and black fingerless gloves.
"Dixie, welcome to the show."
"It's totally awesome to be here, Monica. I can't wait to get started." Dixie replied happily.
She skipped to the others and began introducing herself to everyone. From the bus after her came a 16-year-old boy. He was average height, was slim, had tan skin and long yet slightly messy black hair, and green eyes.
He was wearing a black fedora on his head, black sunglasses, a t-shirt with the Pulp Fiction dance scene on the front, black athlete shorts with silver highlights, white shoes, and black socks with white trimmings.
"Benneth, how you doing?" asked Monica.
"Doing great Monica. Thanks for accepting me." he told her.
Behind him came a 17-year-old girl. She was fairly tall, skinny, and had reddish-brown skin, blue eyes, and long black hair with several beads in it. She was wearing a brown jacket with frills, white shirt, black pants, and red shoes with black laces and soles.
"Everyone meet Destiny."
"Hey, Monica what's up?" Destiny asked.
"Great to have you here, step to the side please."
And she did so, and a 17-year-old guy came from the bus. He was tall and lanky, had caramel brown skin, long black dreadlocks that was tied in a ponytail on top of his head, and brown eyes.
He wore green t-shirt with the number 20 on the front with white block numbers, black shorts, white socks, and green sneakers.
"Bo, hello."
"Hey, Monica. Great to be here." he told her.
Next came a 16-year-old girl. She had tanned skin, a skinny body, average height, green eyes, and black hair with red highlights tied in a ponytail. Her outfit consisted of a long sleeved gray shirt that said, "Born to Shred", jeans with cuts in the front, and sneakers.
She also had a necklace of a skateboard around her neck and two earrings in her right ear.
"Everyone meet Sabine."
"Hey, what's up, everyone. Great to be here." she informed.
And she joined the others. Then from the bus got off a 16-year-old guy. He was pretty tall, had ivory skin, hazel eyes, and dark brown hair with short sides and back and had some length on top. His outfit consisted of a navy t-shirt with a maroon stripe going around the middle, plain black shorts, ankle socks, and plain black shoes.
"Hey, Monica, how you doing?" he greeted.
"Conrad, great to finally meet you." Monica replied.
Then another girl came from the bus. She looked 17-years-old, had pale skin, green eyes, short brown hair, and a curvaceous yet large body. She was wearing black sandals, black shorts, and a blue tank top that exposed her belly.
"Madison, welcome to Totally Epic."
"Thanks, Monica. Can't wait to see what happens here."
Off the bus next was a 17-year-old guy. He was skinny, slightly tall, had pale skin, blue eyes, and short brown hair that was neatly gelled that reached the bottom of his neck. He wore a white button up shirt with a gray vest over it, gray pants, and black shoes, and a gray watch on his left wrist.
"Hello, Caleb, welcome."
"Hey, what's up?" he replied to her.
And finally the last contestant came off the bus. She was 17-years-old, had slightly tanned skin, a muscles yet curvy body, fairly tall, long blonde hair, and green eyes. She wore a black and white trainer shoes, dark blue jeans, and a white blouse.
"And our final contestant, Hayley."
"Hi, thanks for having me." Hayley said, shyly.
"Glad to have you. Now that you're all here please follow me." Monica announced.
They all followed Monica to a tram. While Monica got in the driver's seat, all the teens got into the seats with their bags. And they drove off.
After a little driving, they came to what looked like a movie lot. There were some trailers, a small building, and portable bathrooms.
"This is where you'll be staying for the next few weeks. Boys will be sleeping in the trailer on the left and the girls will be sleeping in the one on the right." Monica informed.
"And you'll be eating your meals in the mess hall there."
Then she stopped the tram in front of the trailers, and let the teens out.
"You get settled in, and then meet me in the mess hall."
They all got out, and each teen went into their respective trailer. Inside was the trailers was pretty decent, and they had bunk beds.
"Reminds me of Total Drama." replied Magdalena.
"I get dibs on a top bunk." Dixie informed. In the boys, they were picking out their beds.
"Any of you guys have any preferences?" asked Joshua.
"I'm good with whatever bed I get." replied Caleb.
"I'm better off with a bottom bunk." Zachary mentioned.
Once they all had their beds picked out, they left the trailers, and went to the mess hall, where Monica was waiting for them.
"Now I'm sure you'd all like a little nourishment. But before you eat I'll be assigning teams, and I'd like you all to meet Hailey." Monica introduced.
Another young woman stepped up beside her. She was slightly shorter than Monica, had light skin, red hair, and blue eyes. She was wearing a blue shirt, a black skirt, and blue slip on shoes.
"Hello, everyone." Hailey greeted.
"Hailey, here is my co-host and best friend. So she'll be helping out."
"I guess she'll be like Chef Hatchet." whispered Bo to Yasmine.
She smiled a little at his comment.
"As for teams, Joshua, Yasmine, Zachary, Destiny, Bo, Madison, and Caleb, you'll sit at the first table, and are now the Platinum Eagles."
"Awesome name." complimented Madison.
"And Magdalena, Jaime, Dixie, Benneth, Sabine, Conrad, and Hayley you're the Titanium Tigers."
"Great." replied Benneth.
"Now help yourself to a little lunch." Hayley raised her hand.
"Don't worry, Hayley I was made aware of your allergies. Your meals are prepared the way your parents wanted." Monica assured.
So while the other teens had ham sandwiches and chips, Hayley had a salad.
Just when they were all finishing, Monica made another announcement.
"All right, now in about 45 minutes, you'll begin your first challenge."
Everyone looked at each other with concerned looks, remembering Chris Mclean's challenges.
"Don't worry, the challenges won't be so bad. I'm no...Chris Mclean." she assured.
That relieved the teens, and they wondered what their first challenge would be?
