Chapter 3: Capture the Flag

"Last time on Totally Epic, the teams had to build a mini monument, but had to dig up the pieces first. The Titanium Tigers was the first team to claim victory, and the Platinum Eagles had to send someone home."

"They ended up sending away Bo. Will the Tigers win again or will the Tigers be able to win this round? Find out on Totally Epic." Monica announced.

The next morning the contestants were just waking up.

"Well I had a pretty good night's sleep, for a first night here." Joshua mentioned, as he got out of bed.

"It wasn't too bad." Jaime said, collecting his stuff.

Haley was on her way to the girl's shower.

"I can't remember the last time I've slept so late. Back home my parents usually get me up early to train." Hayley told the camera.

In the girls shower, she noticed that a lot of the other girls had tons of hair products, tools, and makeup.

"Wow, you girls sure have lots of stuff." she observed.

"It's just the usual stuff." said Magdalena, as she brushed her hair.

"Yeah, only the necessities." added Destiny, putting on some chap stick.

Haley then got into the shower, got cleaned up, dried off, and then dressed. To the other girls surprised, all she pulled out was comb, and that was it.

"That's all you do to your hair?" asked Dixie.

"Yeah. It's all I need, right?" Hayley answered.

"(Chuckles), you have a lot to learn." Sabine told her.

This confused Hayley a little, she always thought all she had to do was pull a comb through her hair.

At breakfast, the contestants were served oatmeal and juice. As they ate, the Platinum Eagles discussed their plan for the day.

"We gotta step up our game today." informed Caleb.

"Yeah, we wanna get victory." agreed Madison.

"I say we kick it up a notch." Zachary suggested.

"I'll give it my all." Yasmine piped up.

"So it's decided we step up our game and we try harder." declared Joshua.

Then Monica walked in.

"Good morning campers. Hope your first night went well." she greeted.

Everyone gave a nod.

"Now as soon as you're finished. We'll start today's challenge."

"What do you think we're gonna do now?" wondered Hayley.

"Well whatever it is, I'm sure we can handle it." assured Benneth.

"We totally can. I mean even though this show's a lot like Total Drama, Monica's nothing like Chris." Benneth explained.

When everyone was finished, they went out, and followed Monica to where their challenge would be, which was in large lot. On opposite sides were two forts made out of wood. Co-hostess Hailey came up next to Monica, holding two flags one red, one blue.

"It's time for an old favorite, capture the flag."

"That sounds fun." said Magdalena.

"Platinum Eagles you're the red flag, Titanium Tigers you're the blue one."

Co-hostess Hailey, gave the red flag to Yasmine, and the blue flag to Jaime.

"Rules pretty simple, each team will try to retrieve the other team's flag and bring it back to their fort to win. To protect your flag, each fort has been filled with weapons. Eagles you're on the right, Tigers, left. Now let's do it." Monica announced.

The teams went to their assigned fort, and looked at the weapons they had. There were slingshots, balloons filled with stuff, mudballs, and soda cans.

"Okay, here's the plan. Someone has to protect our flag, some have to go get the other team's flag, and the rest of us have to defend the fort." Caleb informed his team.

"I can guard the flag." Yasmine offered.

"I can try and get the other team's flag." added Zachary.

"I can help him." offered Madison.

"I can fire the weapons." Joshua piped up.

"Me too." mentioned Destiny.

"So then it's settled. Joshua, Destiny, and I will fire the weapons. Madison and Zachary will try and get the other team's flag, and Yasmine will guard the flag." Caleb told them.

"With the right strategy, I just know we can win this challenge." Caleb said to the camera.

With the Tigers, they had discussed who would do what. Hayley, Conrad, and Magdalena would try and get the Eagle's flag, Sabine would protect their flag, and Benneth, Dixie, and Jaime would fire the weapons.

"Everyone ready?" Monica asked into a megaphone.

"We're ready!" everyone shouted.

"Then ready and...go!"

The teens then began to fire their weapons. Joshua threw a balloon at the opposing team. It hit Magdalena and she was covered in a white substance.

"What the...?" she asked herself.

"What is that stuff?" wondered Conrad.

Magdalena smelled it, and replied.

"I think it's sour cream."

"What are we supposed to do with these soda cans?" questioned Destiny.

"Why not give it a shake?" suggested Joshua.

She did, and then she threw it. When it landed, it sprayed all over the others.

"This really isn't what I expected." Hayley said.

"Just keep going." urged Conrad.

On the other side, Benneth, Dixie, and Jaime fired their weapons. Their balloons were filled with shaving cream, and they used their slingshots to shoot mudballs.

"This is getting messy." said Madison.

"We gotta keep going." Zachary urged.

"Things are certainly starting to get messy. Who'll win victory? Find out on Totally Epic." Monica announced.

The battle kept going on.

"Don't worry, guys. There's no way those Eagles are getting this flag." Sabine assured.

"Good to hear, Sabine." said Jaime.

Suddenly, Sabine felt something on her leg. She looked down, and saw a small spider crawling on her. She shrieked and quickly brushed it off her.

"I really hate spiders. I can't help it, they're just...so...creepy." Sabine confessed.

"They're getting closer. Yasmine, think you can hold onto that flag?" asked Caleb.

"I'll try." Yasmine replied.

"We're getting low on weapons, guys." informed Joshua.

"Then it looks like we'll have to do this the hard way." Destiny said.

They then used their bodies to keep away the other team.

"Time to get tackled." threatened Caleb.

As he headed for Hayley, she felt her instincts kicked in. Using her martial art skills, she managed to fight off the others. Her teammates were shocked, as were the opposing members.

"Oh no." whispered Yasmine, as she held onto the flag.

On the other side, the Eagles managed to get close enough to the fort to try and get the flag.

"You're not getting this flag." Sabine told them, as she backed up.

"We're winning this thing." Madison declared.

"Don't be so sure." Jaime told her.

As they fought, Sabine held onto the flag, and backed away. Zachary managed to corner her. Sabine dodged him every time he came at her. As she hurried away, she ran into something. She opened her eyes, and saw a medium sized spider on her nose.

She screeched and dropped the flag pole.

"Get this thing off me!"

Seizing the opportunity, Zachary grabbed the flag, and hurried out of the fort.

"Go, Zachary go!" encouraged Madison.

"Stop him!" yelled Dixie.

The members of the Titanium Tigers hurried after Zachary, but he ran fast. The other members of the Titanium Tigers tried to stop him, but Zachary persisted on. And made it back, and yelled,

"Victory!"

"And the Platinum Eagles win!" Monica cheered.

The Platinum Eagles cheered with happiness.

"Congratulations Eagles." complimented Co-hostess Hailey.

"As the winners, Platinum Eagles you'll receive an evening spa trip. Titanium Tigers, I'll see you tonight at the elimination ceremony." Monica told the teens.

The Titanium Tigers groaned.

"I can't believe Sabine let go of the flag pole, it was so simple." complained Conrad.

"Oh my gosh. I just lost my team the win. I can't believe this." Sabine replied.

That night as the Eagles were taken to the spa, the Tigers went to the elimination ceremony.

"All right, Tigers. You've cast your votes and now it's time to see who can stay and who has to go." Monica told them.

"When I call your name come get a tiki charm. Magdalena."

Magdalena smiled at got up.

"Jaime."

"Dixie."

"Conrad."

"Hayley."

It was down to Sabine and Benneth.

"And the final tiki charm goes to...Benneth."

Sabine was disappointed, but understood why she was voted off.

"Sorry, Sabine. But it's time for you to go." Monica told her.

"I know. Bye guys." Sabine said.

"And that's the second contestant to leave. Who'll be next? Find out next time on Totally Epic." Monica told the audience.
