Chapter Fifty Seven. Evaluating the Game Plan

Minako looked at Ami before they walked into Monitor. Then she looked as she noticed the other Sailor Guardians and the Defenders at the location.

"You guys are back!" Usagi exclaimed happily.

"Yeah." Ami nodded. "We are."

"Not all of us." Flash stated.

"The Phantom is still with Hadea in the Netherworld." Minako replied calmly.

"I guess Hadea is really interested in him." Makoto replied.

"It's good that you're back, Mina." Artemis smiled at his companion.

"Thanks, Artemis."

"How did things go between you and Hadea?" Artemis asked with curiousity in his voice.

She glanced at her white cat. They've been through a lot together and she felt as if he should know how she was feeling about Hadea and the recent events.

"Things went good." Minako gently patted him. "There was something about Hadea and where she was living in which it's kinda hard to explain."

Usagi walked over to her friend. "It reminds you of our future Kingdom or in the past?"

"You can say that." Minako nodded.

"Well," Haruka replied sarcastically, "we can tell Hadea is making quite an impression."

"At least she's proven herself to us." Hotaru said.

"She has a point you know." Michiru added. "Besides, we got Zorelda to worry about. She is the bigger concern here."

"Neptune is correct." Mandrake told the others. "Hadea has been long reformed and Zorelda is still at large with us."

"Not to mention the Four Heavenly Kings are also back."

Everyone looked to see Mamoru arriving in the room. He appeared to doing better than he was a day prior.

"Mamo." Usagi stated in surprise.

"You should be in bed resting." Setsuna told him.

"I'm feeling better now." Mamoru assured her. "I sensed the Four Heavenly Kings. I know they have been revived somehow."

"Zorelda must have revived them." Rei replied. "I had similar dreams."

"Is that bad news?" Amy asked.

"It depends on how they are due to their revival, right?" LJ added.

"You can pretty much say that." Usagi answered. "Haruka and the others haven't met them yet."

"Well, if Zorelda has revived them as Rei and Mamoru claim," Haruka stated, "it appears we are about to meet them."

Kunzite looked down at the ground. Something just didn't feel right. They have been revived. The Sailor Guardians are still active and working alongside a team of heroes he never heard of before.

"Are you all right?" Zoisite asked. He turned to see his past lover, who appeared to be concerned.

"I'm okay." Kunzite answered. "It's just weird that we are back from the dead."

"I know." Zoisite nodded in agreement. "I have the same feeling."

"We all do." Nephrite spoke up. "Dealing with the Sailor Guardians are one thing but I don't think any of us have ever known about the Defenders of the Earth."

"This is too weird." Jadeite retorted. "While we are dealing with the puzzlement of our return here, there's also another issue."

Kunzite perked his head up. "I know what you are talking about, Jadeite."

"Our past lives." Jadeite glanced at his fellow knights.

"Exactly." Kunzite stated. "It feels as if we are missing something from our past lives. Something to do with Endymion."

Nephrite and Zoisite both nodded in agreement.

"We all have that feeling with our past lives." Zoisite stated.

Suddenly, Zorelda arrived at the room.

"I'm certain none of you have anything to worry about." Zorelda assured the four men.

Kunzite sighed. He had a feeling she overheard their conversation somehow. "What do you want?"

"I've come to inform you that it is time for action." Zorelda announced with a sinister smile.

"I guess we are about to meet these Defenders of the Earth for the first time." Nephrite stated.

-Sailor-Moon-Defenders-

"Is everyone ready for action?" Sheila asked. She was glancing with anticipation as she heard of Zorelda but had never met her before. Then again, she had never met the Four Heavenly Kings either. This was bound to get interesting.

The Defenders and the Sailor Guardians were all gathered in Monitor.

"It appears that we are ready." Lothar answered.

"We are about to head to the Netherworld to help Hadea, Jedda and Rick with Zorelda." Flash stated.

Luna looked at the heroes. Artemis followed suit seconds later.

"We should join you guys." Luna suggested. "If Rick and Ami have the Nethernet set up, we can be capable of keeping an eye of things there."

"I agree with Luna." Artemis nodded in agreement.

"Are you sure about this?" Mandrake asked.

"I don't think it's a bad idea." Sheila answered with a smile. "I have a feeling Rick wants to be in the action and the two cats are capable of watching over the monitors of the Nethernet while he is in battle with us."

Flash smiled proudly. She could tell he was proud of his son but at the same time not really knowing what to think of the current path he was taking.

"Are you okay?" Sheila asked, placing a gentle touch on her lover's arm.

"Yeah." Flash answered. "I'm just thinking about my son."

She gave a gentle smile to assure him everything was going to be okay.

"April." Flash glanced over at his daughter. "I need you to stay here at Monitor to look after things."

"What?!" April exclaimed, annoyed.

"Your father has a point." Mandrake replied. "Kshin is still grounded and he can't leave his room at the moment and we need someone to look after things at Monitor. With that being said, Amy should stay behind as well."

Amy nodded.

"I'll stay behind." Mamoru spoke up as he stepped forward. "April should go with you guys."

"Mamo's right." Usagi replied. "You guys will need all the help you can get."

"Yeah." Hotaru stated. "April has proven more than once she is capable of holding her own and Amy's powers could prove to be useful."

"We should transform and get everyone to the Netherworld." Haruka suggested.

"Mercury Crystal Power..."

"Mars Crystal Power..."

"Jupiter Crystal Power..."

"Venus Crystal Power..."

"Uranus Crystal Power..."

"Neptune Crystal Power..."

"Pluto Crystal Power..."

"Saturn Crystal Power..."

"Moon Eternal..."

"Make Up!"

In a flash of light of their respective colors, the Sailor Guardians were in their Sailor fukus.

"It appears their latest sailor suit upgrades are their newest Sailor fukus." Luna stated.

"Yeah." Ami said as she held Luna in her arms.

"Our Eternal forms as described." Minako grinned as he picked up Artemis in her arms.

"Defenders," Usagi told the team, "join us and we shall teleport to the Netherworld."

Sheila and Flash walked next to Usagi as the latter held both women's hands. Sheila looked as Mandrake and Lothar were next to Makoto. April was next to Ami. Amy was next to Hotaru. LJ was next to Rei. Sheila also noticed as Luna was on Ami's shoulders while Artemis was on Minako's shoulders.

"I think everyone is ready." Sheila stated. She closed her eyes as Artemis and Luna called out the Sailor Teleport power. She felt energy surge through her and could tell they were on their way to the Netherworld.

Mamoru looked on as the heroes were surrounded in massive energy. He was a bit worried at first as the energy was unlike anything he seen before when the Sailor Guardians used teleportation to get from place to place.

He sighed with relief as the heroes vanished and the teleportation was a success. He now hoped that the Sailor Guardians and the Defenders of the Earth would be able to take on Zorelda and the Four Heavenly Kings.

"Usako. Everyone." Mamoru stated to himself. "Good luck."
