Jake's POV
"Look alive people there are plane crash report and they bringing patients all hospitals available!" As the Chief of Staff shouted to the staffs "be ready"
As I look around people are bringing in and doctors and nurses are doing their best to accommodate the patients. I went to a pregnant patient and asked the intern
"What do we got here Dr. Smith"
"Jane Thor, 28 years old, 25 weeks pregnant no sign of fetal distress but has deep cut in her calf"
I check the baby for other complications but it seems that the baby is growing within the textbook so I instructed Dr. Smith to clean the wound and prepare for stitching and monitor the baby. He did as I said and I performed the stitching when I'm done I check around if anyone needs help and then I saw her, beautiful woman in a gurney bleeding from her head I went to her and paramedics and asked for her status
"Jane Doe, estimated 26 years old, experiencing head trauma in her frontal lobe" as the paramedics said
"I need a head CT, X-ray, MRI" I said to the intern "MOVE!" I shouted. I don't know why I just saw her and I'm already afraid of loosing her
When her results came in our head of neuro said there are no building cloths of her brain and no hemorrhage
"We'll just wait till she wakes up to further assess her"
"Thanks Dr. James" I said he smiled and talk to the nurses and intern to monitor her and page him when she wakes up and walk away
I went inside her room, she's well cleaned up there are still marks of blood in her and a large bandage around her head. As O walk closer to her bed, she's so breathtakingly beautiful even when she's asleep, her red hair I laugh cause I thought it was from the blood but I guess not but it suits her very well, she seems an intelligent woman, a hard and independent one. I sit beside her bed and just watch her sleep, the sound of the beeping monitor is filling the room but I can't hear it all I hear is her breathing that soothing sound of her inhaling and exhaling.
"Please be okay" all I remembered before drifting to sleep
Few hours have passed I wake up when I felt someone is poking me, I open my eyes and I saw the most beautiful blue green eyes in the world and I was lost in it
Addison's POV
"My heads pounding. Why the hell would my head hurts so bad? Have Archer hit me in the head?" I thought, I open my eyes and I saw a man sleeping beside me in unfamiliar place. "Who is this man and why is he sleeping here? O my am I being kidnap? Hush Addison, stop being stupid think" I look around and see that I'm in a hospital "a hospital, what am I doing here? Did Archer hit me so hard that cause me to be hospitalized? Where is my stinking brother anyway" "Well I can't answer my own question. So I guess I have to wake this man up"
I poke him from his arm couple of time, he must be tired cause I don't see movement. I'm getting impatient so I poke him a little harder then he starts to stir. When his pulling himself up to sit he opened his eyes those deep brown eye I thought I was lost in his eyes when he speaks I felt my knees weak even though I'm laying in bed
"Hi, you're awake" He said and smiles at me damn those deep voice and his smile
I also smiled at him "Hi"
"Ahm" he said I laugh he seems shy and out of words I look at him and saw he was a little shock
"What's wrong?" I ask him
"Nothing, you have the cutest laugh I heard" I blushed
"Focus Addison! You can't fall in love with a stranger" I thought to myself and I drop my smile trying not to look at his eyes
"Where am I? Why am I here? Have you seen Archer?" I asked
3rd person POV
"Archer? Huh that must be her fiancé, I figured cause when removing all her jewelry there's a ring in her finger. Lucky man there goes my heart" Jake thought to himself
"You're at St. Ambrose Hospital, you have been in a plane crash" Jake said to her, he looks at her she seems shocked "have you remember anything?"
Addison tries to remember what happened to her and about the plane crash "What is the last thing you remember" Jake asked that cause to lost her concentration
"I remembered my brother and I were playing baseball and that punk hit me in the head. Stupid Archer" Addison stated
"Archer is your?"
Addison rolled her eyes "His my brother didn't I just told you" she irritatedly said
Jake smile to himself "good she's not with anyone, but what is the ring for?" He thought
"What's your name?" Addison raised her eyebrows "we called you Jane Doe, it doesn't suits the name for a beautiful woman like you"
"What the hell man, now she thinks I'm a creep and a flirt" Jake thought
"Well aren't you a flirt Dr." Addison smiled "but you aren't seems my doctor so I won't tell you my name" then she turned her face to the other side and hide the blushed on her cheeks and her smile. When she calm down herself she turned back to face him and he was gone she looked around and saw him in the nurses station smiling and looks like his flirting with that nurse, she felt angry and maybe a little jealous he just flirt with her a while ago now his flirting with every one
"Two can play it this game" Addison smirk
She saw him talking to another Doctor and walk away now the new doctor is approaching her
"Good evening Ms." long pause indicating that the doctor is asking her name
"Addison Montgomery"
"That's a beautiful name" the doctor smile "I'm Dr. James Robin, I'm the head of neurosurgery here in St. Ambrose" Addison nods as he introduces himself "Do you remember anything Ms. Montgomery?"
Addison sigh "as I told the other Dr. who slept here I only remembered my stupid brother hit me in the head with a baseball" the doctor was going to ask if she remembered her brother's name before he open his mouth to ask "My brother's name is Archer Montgomery" the doctor closed her mouth
"Well Ms. Montgomery, we are going to contact you brother before we declare you a diagnosis for the mean time we would like to monitor you here and run some more test" Addison just nod. In the corner of her eye she can see the same man from her room standing outside and waiting for the doctor to leave
"I'll leave now Ms. Addison Montgomery, take a rest"
"Thanks"
When the doctor leave the room he talked to Jake. Addison have no clue what their talking about but it seems it's about her. She saw him smile bid goodbyes and his approaching her room. He was holding plastic bag with food in it, he arranged it in a table near them
"That's sweet" Addison thought she could smile but stop herself instead she raised her eyebrows
"I brought food"
"I can see that but why?"
"Because I'm hungry" Jake said in a teasing tone that made look Addison dumb
"I mean why here?! Don't you have an office or something?!" She sounded annoyed and Jake find it cute.
"She makes me fall for her every second" Jake thought
"I'm hungry and I bought food more than one so might as well share it you haven't eaten all day" Jake said flashed his smile
"Why don't you bother those nurses and leave me alone"
"Are you jealous?" Addison just rolled her eyes "To tell you I don't care about them, all I want is your company. My name is Jake Reily" held out his hand for hand shake
Addison rolled her eyes "as if you don't already know my name" she said "Addison Montgomery" shake his hand and smile
