LOVE THAT HAS BEEN LOST CHAPTER 19
After the confrontation between Derek and Addison in the staircase, Addison wasn't able to practice medicine she tried to be Dr. Montgomery-Reilly and be professional with the staff of the hospital and her patients can tell that the doctor is not in the right state.
Addison was sitting in the cafeteria poking the chicken in her salad when the Chief come to her table unaware of Richard's presence who called her name multiple times
"Addison. Addie. Addison!" Richard called slightly raising his voice cause to turn a few heads to their way
Addison who was startled by his voice, look shocked at her mentor/friend "Richard" she called then seated properly "how long have you been here? Do you need something?"
"Can we talk in my office NOW!" He said sternly and started walking away, Addison who was slightly confused followed the older man to his office when they arrived at his office they took a seat. Richard looking at her intensely
"What?" Addison questionably said
"I have received many complains about your behavior today Addie" he started "What's going on Addison?" He finished, you can hear the fatherly tone in his voice
Addison let out a long exhausting sigh "it's just- a lot has been going through in my mind. I can't-"
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"I don't know how" she respond in a defeated voice
Knowing Addison for so long, Richard knew that the young woman hates being vulnerable and feeling defeated, she's a strong independent, competitive, guarded, and stubborn woman. Expressing weakness is a big no-no to Forbes-Montgomery traits
"How about starting to ask questions" Richard suggested
"Derek" Addison said and then Richard has an idea why his star surgeon is not herself, "he told me he was my boy- fiancé. Was it true?"
Richard nodded "yes he was"
"What happened? Why? How?" She asks continuously, there's a lot she wants to ask Derek but it's obvious that he doesn't want to be near her. Good thing that Richard was there when it happened
"I don't know when it all started but I can tell you what I know," he said looking at Addison observing if she is ok to know what happened before her new life with Jake. Addison just nodded, Richard started telling her, her past
"I met you and Derek when you guys were freshly graduated from med school. You two were the best student, you two pushed each other to your best. You've been in a relationship from med school and got engaged on your 1st-year residency. A few days before your wedding that's when the accident happened and you lost your memory"
Addison has a hard time comprehending the new information from her past life, all this information makes Addison's head hurt, she closed her eyes to control the pain she's feeling. Richard noticed that she isn't feeling well, being overwhelmed and bombarded with information about her past, he takes that cue to make Addison go home early so she can rest and enlightenment of her past
"Addie, I think you should go home and get some rest. You had a long day" he said using a fatherly tone of voice
Addison just nods in response "you want me to tell Jake to take you home?" He suggested
Addison shake her head which later on she regret because it made her head hurt more "no I can manage, thank you Richard" from that she walked out of his office and went to her office to gather her things. She texted her husband saying that she went home early, that she was ok, just needed a rest
On her way home, what Richard told her in his office ran around her head making her headache worst. Even though her head is troubling she got home safe, it was quiet because Henry is with Angela visiting a family, they won't be home until further notice. She got peace which she needed, Don't get her wrong she loves her children with all her life but now isn't a good time having a troubling headache and a child screaming.
She lay down in their bed, she must be very tired that she didn't realize that she drifted to sleep when she woke up it was dark. She turns to her right to look at the time, it's 7:30 pm. Her head still aching but not as extreme as before, perks of having amnesia, headaches most of the time especially when triggered by memories.
She prepared to take a long hot shower, she slowly stands up from the bed so she won't feel dizzy, she went to her vanity to remove her jewelry when she open her jewelry drawer there was a small box that she haven't seen in a while, not since she started to have feelings for Jake. She gets the small box and reveals a gorgeous, medium-size diamond engagement ring. Before she doesn't and didn't want to know where it came from or who gave it to her because she started a new life with the most loving and caring man she have ever met so what is the reason for finding out who gave her that engagement ring, though early after her accident she was curious that there was a person who's willing to marry her.
Addison remove the rings Jake gave her and place them safely on the table, she slowly put the ring Derek gave her. She analyze it more and more, the ring still fits in her finger, she felt that it was meant for her and no one else. She was about to remove it when she hear voices, her voice and Derek's, Mark's. The three of them younger, flashbacks memories that been missing from her
"Hi, I'm Derek. Derek Shepherd" flashing Addison her dreamy smile, this Derek extend his hand indication of the handshake but Addison look at him weirdly and walk away, ignoring the hot cute boy campus

"Shut up" she jokingly slaps his arm and they both laugh like their the only people in the world

Addison and Derek breathe heavily, laying in bed at Addison's apartment. After 6 months of being a couple, it was their first time making love, upon Addison's request because even though the pair knows that they love each other Addison didn't want to rush each other, and Derek understand and respect that.
Derek wrap his arms around Addison holding her tightly like his life depend on it, he thought that if he let go she will be gone from him. Addison felt secure in his arms so she did the same too, the pair can feel their love for each other in the room. Derek kisses Addison's head

"At the cafe?" This time she wasn't confident, still receive a "no" from Derek

"Really" he confirmed it again
"I didn't notice you there" she innocent reply
"Yeah well, I'm not the only one who you got the attention of"

"A lot of people had turned their heads when we heard the door opened and I look around at people observing and most students I've seen have these admiration, envy, wanting, lust look in their eyes but the last one came from male students, that's when I got curious who could that be, who could make people look at them like that then I turned around and I get why" he paused and slowly lean closer to her "from then I know you are special, from then I was captivated by your beauty and confident, from then I know you'd be the person I've been looking for. The love of my life" and that speech Derek gain a passion, lust, and full of love and appreciation from Addison

Now it is the time when all med students have been waiting for graduation. 4 years of hard work, non-stop studying. And now it was all done, now it's time for them to have fun even in a short while.
Mark, Derek, and Addison entered a bar where all med students are having a graduation party. The three try to find available seats for them to take, when They found one, they went there and settle their thing or Addison's things. Woman
"What do you want Addie?" Derek whispering to his girlfriend's ear due to the loud music
"I'll have cosmopolitan please" she replied in a husky tone that turns Derek on, though the position the two of them were in isn't a good view for Mark Sloan who rolled his eyes
"Come on guys! It's our graduation party don't ruin it for me with your sex eye and PDA" he complains
"Jealous" Addison tease
Mark just rolled his eyes and throw tantrums like a 3-year-old kid who didn't get what he wanted, the couple just laugh at his childishness and decided to annoy him more. The pair place a hot, passionate, and steamy make-out session, causing people around them to watch them and might turn on, especially when Addison let out a sexy moan loud enough to people can hear.
Addison and Derek pulled apart when they needed oxygen in their system, that's when they noticed people gathered around them watching them.
"The show is over people!" Derek shouted, the strangers went back to what they were doing. He turn back to kiss Addison this time it's a small smack on the lips and went to order their drinks
When Derek and Mark went to the bar, Addison was left alone at the table which she was comfortable with until she felt a presence near her when she take a look at who it was she got annoyed and irritated
"What do you want?" She said not hiding her irritation
"That was quite a show you performed there" he came closer to her and whisper "maybe you can do me next, I've heard rumors about how great your anatomy is. I don't believe in rumors wanna prove it?" He said
"Is that your way to getting you laid? I feel sorry for you Micheal" she pushed him hard, he crashed on the wall sitting on the floor. Addison stands up showing the shape of her body and the short dress she's wearing and bent down to him so he can see her cleavage as an act of revenge and torture for him "besides I don't need to prove anything, but I am the best in anatomy. Too bad you won't experience it"
"What's going on," Derek asks looking confused at the guy sitting on the floor
"Nothing honey" she went to take a seat "he was just leaving. Right" jot another word Micheal left, Addison take her drink and take a sip, they were enjoying their company when Mark found a girl and starts flirting, the two are left alone
"Don't think I didn't see what you did"
"What did I do?" She innocently asked
"You know what" he gave her a serious look but smirk "and I like it" putting his hands on her thigh making their way to her core which Addison let out a soft moan "what you say we leave this place and you can show me your best anatomy" without saying a word they gather their things and left.
