Imbolc

Two figures walked hurriedly down a corridor at the north pole.

"I can't believe no one told me about this."

"Well we have been pretty busy lately."

"For two years no one could bring it up?"

"..."

Nick sighed as they approached the large ornate door that led to what he would call a Grizzmas themed conference room. He stopped just outside the door and looked to his wife, Judy.

"You can't come with me?" He asked.

"Sorry, but this is for legendary figures only. The other Santa never told me what would go on behind these doors."

"And Santa Claus' wife isn't considered a legendary figure?"

Judy smiled, raising up on her toes to kiss his nose. "Sorry, you'll have to figure this one out on your own."

This only got a frown from Nick.

"Cheer up." She said, patting his cheek. "I'll keep your supper warm till you get out." She started walking back the way they came. Looking over her shoulder at him before disappearing around the corner.

With a final huff, Nick straightens his Santa suit and opens the door. Inside he finds the seven legendary figures from around the world.

"Well it's about time!" A familiar voice calls out. Nick looks towards the refreshments and sees a familiar little green fox pouring himself a large mug of eggnog. "You know how long I been here waitin'?"

"Oh shush Fin, you only just arrived."A gazelle admonished the little fox.

"And that's a moment longer than I wish to be in this frozen ice box!" He said before downing his drink in one go. The gazelle just rolled her eyes and approached Nick, offering her hoof.

"I'm mother nature but you may call me gazelle." She didn't give Nick the chance to respond as she turned to introduce the others. "You've met Fin."

The small fox only grunted as he poured himself another cup.

"This is Sandy the sandman." A small sand cat waved in greeting.

"The ram hovering around is Cupid."

"Cupid senior I might add. Clawhauser spoke fondly of you." The ram replied.

"And that's Bogo, the tooth fairy."

At the mention of his name the large water buffalo huffed. "Don't care."

"Over there is Janet, the easter bunny." The largest rabbit Nick had ever seen moved one of her droopy ears away from her face and waved.

"And over here, struggling to stay awake, is father time. We like to call him Flash, for short." A sloth slowly waved in response.

"A pleasure to meet you all. My name is-" He didn't get the chance to finish before the windows to the room suddenly burst open. A sharp cold wind blew around the room carrying snow and extinguishing the fire that had kept the room at a cozy temperature. The snow drift swirled into the middle of the room forming a small torrent that rose to the ceiling before coalescing into another rabbit that fell to stand in the middle of the room. When he landed he sent a gust of wind and snow in all directions causing everyone to shield themselves. Once the wind had died down, Nick unshielded his eyes and found a rabbit with the whitest fur he'd ever seen. At least it appeared that way, he might have even had a hint of blue beneath his fur. He wore an immaculate black suit with a light purple shirt and red tie. What really struck Nick was his piercing eyes, as blue as ice. When he spoke, a small cloud of frost would leave his lips.

"Sorry I'm late, did I miss anything?"
