Chapter 12
Naruto's Office
After getting some clothes to fit her size, Naruko sat on the couch in Naruto's office while enjoying some snacks with Wendy. Leaving Naruto to sigh as he waited for Yami to explain what is going on.
"Why do I suddenly have a sister?" Naruto asked.
"I'm trying to figure that out too. My experiment's result was vastly different than what I expected." Yami said.
"And why do you sound like a normal human?" Naruto asked.
Yami sighed, "My experiment was to give myself a body that functions independently. Unfortunately, it only extends the period of time I can have without attaching myself to you." he explained.
Naruto gave him a blank look, "You are very lucky that I'm somehow able to understand you." he said.
Yami nodded, "I see, so that must be it. While being attached to you and taking your samples. My personality or at least some mental factor must have slightly increased your intelligence." He explained.
"I can learn too, ya know!" Naruto yelled.
"You always hated academics and lacked a necessary role model to teach you otherwise." Yami counters. However he went back to the topic, "Anyways, my experiment required the Body Doubles I had you make. I am currently fused with one and the other somehow gained sentience to become Naruko. Though I'm confused as to how she became female." he explained.
"Is there anything else I should know?" Naruto asked as Albedo came in.
"Naruko ate Shaltear's skeleton." Yami said making Albedo drop her books and laugh out loud.
Naruto started to making gagging noises, "Why? What?" he asked before looking at Naruko. Who continued eating in innocence, "Why would you eat a vampire's skeleton!?" He asked.
Naruko pouted, "Don't yell at me big brother! It hurts my feelings!" she replied.
Naruto sighed again, "Great, if it wasn't enough that I'm not the smart one. Naruko is the childish one." he said.
"Trust me, I know and it's stressing me out too." Yami said.
Meanwhile, Albedo kneeled in front of Naruko, "Hi Naruko-chan, I'm Albedo. I want you to know you didn't do a bad thing with eating Shaltear." she said making Naruko smile. "Then again, you shouldn't eat things that aren't food. Shaltear's dirty skeleton might give you an infection." she said in a sisterly tone.
Naruko patted her stomach, "The loli vampire was super crunchy." she said.
Albedo tried to stifle her laughter, "Really? She wasn't quite curvy when she was alive." she said.
"Was she fat?" Wendy asked.
Albedo really wanted to laugh, "No, but she hardly weighed anything. She had no physical appeal." she answered.
Naruto looked at Yami again, "What should I do with her?" he asked.
"You are the one that's good with kids. I need to fix my lab and see what I can save and hopefully study your sister, on a later date." Yami said before leaving out the window.
"You better not ruin that suit!" Naruto shouts as that suit belonged to him. "Now then, what do I do with you Naruko?" he asked as his sister smiled at him.
The next day, the fields
Carrying a hoe, Naruko happily dug into the ground as she helped the goblins prepare for the harvest season. Being alive for over a day really excited the girl apparently. As she found this mundane and difficult task to be worth her energy as Naruto managed the farmers.
"At least she's occupied for now." Naruto said as Naruko made a lot of progress.
"That she did my lord. We'll be done in time at all." Rigurd said.
"Quite energetic and optimistic too." Geld complimented.
"Yeah, I never knew you would be a hot babe if you were female, Lord Naruto." Gobta said before Naruto started crushing his head.
"I think you're looking for new reasons to piss everyone off everyday Gobta." Naruto said as Gobta struggled to break free of the grip. "Ignoring that, since I'm not always around. Do you guys think you can keep an eye on Naruko? I want to prepare this place in case she's secretly violent." she said.
"Your sister is quite peaceful. I'm sure she will fight right in." Geld said before Shuna approached Naruko.
"Hi Naruko-chan! I brought you some snacks!" Shuna said.
Naruko smiled as she tossed her hoe away. Resulting in it crashing into someone's head and cracking their skull. Though Naruko didn't seem to care as she gently accepted lunch from Shuna. All the while Shuna was trying to think of the dresses she could force Naruko into wearing.
"Maybe accident prone makes more sense." Naruto said as he felt bad for the latest casualty. "Actually, I should probably give some instructions for Ririna. Hopefully Naruko can handle farm life." He said.
A little while later
As the afternoon came close, Naruto returned to the farm to check in on everyone. Luckily, it seemed that while Yami left to perform his secret experiments that would likely violate the laws of morality. Naruko was behaving and not causing destruction of any kind and it looked like Wending was having a good time interacting with her while they helped with the farming.
"Hey you two, have you been good?" Naruto asked.
"We planted lots of seeds. You should have seen how fast sister Naruko is." Wendy said.
Naruto chuckled, "Oh, she's that fast?" she asked.
Naruko nodded, "I even learned something important." she said.
"And what's that?" Naruto curiously asked.
"That hands are the most important thing when cooking." Naruko answered.
"Okay… I see that. Why bring this up now?" Naruto asked with a raised brow.
"Because Shion gave me her cooking." Naruko answered making Naruto's face turn grim. "So that's why, as thanks. I'm going to break Shion's hands so she can never harm anyone with her food!" she said.
Wendy looked disturbed by that explanation, "Big sister, that's wrong!" She said.
"She's right Naruko, you can't hurt someone just because you don't like them." Naruto explained.
"Shion hurt me with her food." Naruko argued.
Naruto sighed, "Naruko, violence is a bad option. Never resort to violence." he said.
Naruko pouted, "Fine, but I'm not eating her food ever again." she said just as Shion arrived.
"Naruko-chan! Lady Wendy! I brought you both… hey where did my sword go?" Shion stopped and asked.
Naruto looked curious too before hearing a blade being unsheathed. He slowly turned around to find Naruko with a murderous look on her face. The worst part is that Naruko suddenly had Shion's sword in her hands. However, Shion saw no issue with this and failed to sense Naruko's bloodlust.
"Oh! There it is! Thank you Naruko-chan!" Shion said before dodging a sword slash. "Careful, it's a big sword. You might cut someone." she said before dodging more sword slashes. "Naruko-chan, I really do not think we should be playing tag with my sword." she said before Naruko cut Shion's jacket open.
"Run you fool!" Naruto ordered.
"Run from what?" Shion asked as Naruko continued to slash at her.
"Just go!" Naruto yelled.
"But my sword! Naruko-chan might cut herself!" Shion said before Naruto lifted her up in the air.
"For a loyal subordinate, you are terrible at following orders and directions." Naruto said as he started running. "Wendy, keep the crops safe. I'll try to stop Naruko's rampage!" he yelled out.
Wendy sweat dropped, "Carla, I need help." she said.
Later that night
Yami's eye is twitching, "Okay, so Naruko is indeed intelligent at some level but has the personality of a child." he said as he watched the girl eat Shuna's rice balls.
"Yeah, I admit I have anger issues of my own. Except, I never got to a level of extreme violence." Naruto said. "I mean sure, I lashed out a few times but Naruko had no problem with trying to hurt Shion." he added.
Yami sighed, "We're lucky Shion thinks that Naruko was recklessly playing a game with her sword." he said. "Also, while we're talking about her ignorance. I'm ordering Circe and Shuna to deny Shin any access to the kitchen." he said.
"That won't stop her." Naruto said.
"It won't but it means she will have less resources." Yami said, unaware of how crafty the busty Kijin is.
"Anyways, back to the topic. How should I deal with this?" Naruto asked as he gestured to Naruko.
Yami frowned behind his mask, "Do what you do best. Use some talk no jutsu." he said.
"Do you think that would work if I ask Great Sage?" Naruto asked.
"I wouldn't be surprised if it was a skill by this point." Yami said.
Naruto smiled as he grabbed Naruko by the shoulders, "Naruko, listen closely." He said.
"Hm?" Naruko asked.
"Would you like to use the Skill: Talk no Skill?" Great Sage asked.
'That's what it's called now? Yeah, go I want to use it.' Naruto mentally said.
Naruko stared at her "brother" in confusion as he tried to open his mouth to speak. Only for Great Sage to give him an error.
"The Skill: Talk no Skill, is ineffective." Great Sage said.
"Than why does it exist!?" Naruto shouted.
"Big brother, you're being creepy." Naruko said.
Naruto sighed, "Look Naruko, how about instead of working on the farm tomorrow. We take Wendy and the kids to play in the woods?" he asked.
Naruko brightened up, "Yes! I wanna have fun!" She said before hugging Naruto.
'Hopefully this will give me time to make Naruko understand that hurting people is wrong.' Naruto thought.
Results for Today's Battle: Naruto Loses
The next morning
In the forest, Naruto armed the kids and Gobta with hand made water soakers. Seeing as how the summer was here and the heat was rising at a dramatic rate. So now was a perfect time to get and have fun! Wendy mentioned earlier that bug collecting is also somehow fun but for once, Gobta decided to be smart and mentioned that many insects in the Forest of Jura are very gigantic.
So bug hunting is out of the question. It's already bad enough that Kanna constantly eats them.
"Okay, we got two teams. 50 paces apart and then you can start shooting." Naruto explained. "Anyone have any questions?" he asked.
Carla raised her arm, "How is this fun?" she asked.
"Because it is, let's go!" Naruto said before Gobta and the goblins tried to shoot him.
Naruto then proceeded to avoid the multiple strikes that were all aimed at him. As he proceeded to jump from tree top to tree top.
"No fair! He has ninja powers!" Gobta shouted.
"But we got exceeds." one of the goblin points out.
The cats then proceeded to extend their wings, "Some of us can carry you guys while the others act as air support." one of them said.
Gobta grinned, "Cool! One half can follow Naruto and the other half follow his team!" he ordered.
With Naruko's group
Naruko happily ran with Wendy sitting on her shoulder, "Keep an eye out Wendy, I'm not losing to the boys." she said.
"Okay big sister." Wendy said.
"Slow down! I'm still slower than you in human form!" Carla said as she struggled to keep up with Naruko. Kanna proceeded to carry Carla over her shoulder, "Thank you Kanna." She said.
"Give me cover fire." Kanna said before the water shots started to hit the trees surrounding them.
"Now!? Right here!?" Carla asked as she fumbled with her soaker before being hit and falling down.
"Oh no! Carla!" Wendy yelled.
"We'll come back for your body later, soldier." Kanna said with a salute as the girls ran.
"I'm not dead!" Carla yelled before being barraged by the water.
"Gotcha!" Gobta said as Carla tries to shield herself.
"It's so cold!" she exclaimed.
Elsewhere, a while later
Naruto was hiding amongst the green. Watching out as he saw several exceeds scanning over the area. The ninja grinned as he slowly and silently adjusted his position without giving himself away. Seeing as how the exceeds were about to change their position. He fired some webbing into another tree, making them focus on where they heard the web land.
"Open fire!" one of the exceeds said.
As the exceeds sprayed water into the tree. Naruto jumped high into the air and fired at each exceed. Using enough water to make each fall down. However, Naruto was not cruel and thus created a net with his webs.
"You have to try harder than that!" Naruto shouts as he starts tree jumping again.
"Dang it, Lord Naruto is good." One of them said.
At the same time, with Naruko
Naruko was pinned down next to Wendy and Kanna as the goblins continued to open fire on them. Wendy tried to peak behind a rock only to be splashed in the face. Kanna proceeded to help Wendy move out of sight.
"There are too many of them." Kanna said.
Naruko grimaced, "Keep Wendy-chan safe, I'm gonna go for a flank." she said as she started to climb up a tree.
Kanna hanged onto Wendy, "Don't worry Wendy, big sister is going to beat them." she said.
"I hope so." Wendy said.
Only to see several exceeds drop more goblins. It would have been cool to consider the fact they looked like paratroopers when they landed. Only the situation didn't dictate that feeling.
"We win!" the goblins said.
Kanna and Wendy panicked until a giant beam of water sent the goblins flying. Looking up, they saw Naruko in a violet symbiote form with a large torso. After briefly escaping to drink a lot of water from a nearby stream. The girl came back and started to spit out the water, sending the goblins and exceeds flying away in a large tidal wave.
"No fair, Naruko is OP!" Gobta complained.
Naruko laughed, "You're too weak!" she commented. Then Wendy shot Naruko, making her fall, "Betrayal!" She yelled.
"Sorry big sister, all is fair in war." Wendy said as Naruko hit the ground.
"Mean little sister." Naruko said as she started firing back.
Wendy proceeded to try and copy her adoptive sister and tried drinking up the water while in slime form. Once Naruko was out of water, she proceeded to run and look for some more. With Wendy rolling around to do the same.
"Kanna, when I get super full from water. I want you to try and squeeze me." Wendy said as Kanna nodded.
Soon enough, everyone playing around tried to regroup. With both Naruko and Wendy trying to fill themselves up with all the water they could contain. It almost resulted in almost completely draining the river therefore almost creating a draught and thus almost destroying the environment. Luckily Treyni always seemed prepared for that sort of stuff.
Unfortunately, she saw how much fun everyone is having and is depressed because no one invited her. All she could do was watch the next scene unfold.
By then, Naruto arrived and saw the fighting, "Wait, did you two turn on each other!?" he asked.
"Kaboom!" Kanna said as she jumped on top of Wendy's slime form.
Naruko proceeded to release all of the water at the same time Wendy did. Resulting in both sides unleashing a giant explosion of water that created a giant tidal wave. As Naruto found himself being caught in the wave, he desperately asked Great Sage for ways to deal with this issue since it looked like Wendy and Naruko were still fighting and had a lot of water left in them.
Luckily Great Sage did come up with a good suggestion and a unique one.
"Suggestion: Attempt to absorb the water yourself. By propelling the water and containing it in a sphere." Great Sage said.
'Uh, how do I do that? Is it like the Rasengan? I doubt I can absorb the water in a similar way.' Naruto mentally said.
"Would you like Great Sage to take control?" Great Sage asked.
Naruto thought it over, 'Yeah, maybe you can do it better since you know.' he thought.
A moment later, Naruto's eyes were red as Great Sage controlled his body. The Unique skill proceeded to do as it suggested to Naruto. After taking a stance where it was in control, Great Sage used a technique similar to the Rasengan. Though the intended use and creation were vastly different. As Great Sage somehow started to drain all of the water by focusing magicules into Naruto's hands and slowly pulled in the water like a reverse propeller.
Sucking in the water and creating two gigantic spinning projectiles of water. Though it didn't exactly drain the entire tidal wave. It drained a good portion until Wendy and Naruko stopped.
"Oh man, I'm so tired." Wendy said.
Naruko started to paint, "i overdid it." she said before noticing her brother. "Big brother?" she asked.
"Do you wish to open fire on Wendy or Naruko with spiraling water sphere?" Great Sage asked.
'Tempting.' Naruto responded as he was about to ask for control of his body again.
When Gobta ruined it, "Haha, I got you Lord Naruto!" he said as he hit the back of Naruto's head with his water soaker.
"Threat detected." Great Sage said before throwing one sphere at Gobta.
Causing a giant explosion of water to hit him. As Gobta proceeded to fly so high in the air, he became nothing more than a shiny light in the sky.
"I think we took it too far." Wendy said.
"That was lots of fun!" Naruko said as she hopped up.
"Naruko forgives you." Kanna told Wendy.
Then Shion arrived, "Who's hungry? I brought everyone food!" she asked.
Great Sage threw the other giant sphere of water at Shion. Causing her to also go flying away with the food she had prepped for everyone. Naruko happily hugged her brother for doing that.
"Threat eliminated." Great Sage said realizing the danger of Shion's cooking. "Now reverting control to Naruto." It said before Naruto came back.
"Huh? What happened?" Naruto asked, seemingly unaware of what Great Sage did.
Results for Today's Battle: Naruko and Wendy Wins
Later that evening, the office
Naruto decided to go into the office through his window. After letting the kids have their fun in the sun with this bad heatwave. He decided to dry off and hang out in his office. Only to find Shuna dusting the shelves without noticing his arrival. Only briefly turning around once she heard Naruto close the window.
"Must be my imagination." Shuna said as she never saw Naruto take cover.
Naruto snickered to himself as he moved around in symbiote form. Similar to Wendy, he stretched his body around as to avoid Shuna's gaze for whenever she turned her attention elsewhere. Naruto then proceeded to move closer to Shuna and was about to poke her when she turned her head. Naruto immediately moved below her line of sight and crawled to the side.
"Was that the air?" Shuna asked as she looked around.
Shuna shrugged it off before Naruto started slithering around her. His body mass started to tower over Shuna as his large fangs extended. Almost as if he were about to bite down on the girl. Shuna narrowed her eyes and spins around again to find nothing there.
"Maybe I'm overworking myself." Shuna said with a sigh.
As Shuna started working on organizing Naruto's desk. Naruto reverted to his normal form and started hanging upside down from the ceiling. Where he fired a web and slowly descended behind Shuna like a spider. This time, Shuna grabbed him by surprise.
"Hi Shuna, working long?" Naruto asked as if he had just arrived.
Shuna smiled as she hugged Naruto's head, "Quite a bit actually." she answered.
"Hey since you've been helping me a lot lately. You want to get lunch together?" Naruto asked.
"Sure! I'm quite famished." Shuna answered.
Naruto then jumped down from the ceiling, "Okay, you want to walk there or take the scenic route?" he asked.
"What's the scenic route?" Shuna curiously asked.
Naruto grinned as he launched a web at the window and raised it up. Shuna giggled as she wrapped her arms around Naruto's neck. Where Naruto had proceeded to jump out the window and fire a web at a nearby light pole. Allowing the two to view the town from a higher vantage point.
That's when Wendy suddenly came jumping out from the corner, "Ninja." she whispered. "Haha, Naruto and Shuna never once saw me." she said before noticing a note on the desk.
For Wendy
Dear Wendy, while I won't scold you for having fun. You may want to improve your stealth skills before pretending that I don't notice you or your brother trying move around me. I know ninjas are fun and you want to be like your big brother, but please don't do it while I'm cleaning, okay? Now be a good girl and be at home before 8 PM when Naruto gets back.
-From Shuna
Wendy groaned, "My ninja skills suck." she said. Then her stomach growled, "Where's the maid attack squad big brother hired when you need them?" she asked out loud.
That's when CZ hopped out, "What is your wish my ladyship?" she asked emotionlessly.
"Wow you're a super good ninja! Can you teach my your skills?" Wendy asked.
"I may offer what little I know." CZ answered.
"Really!? Actually, I want to eat first." Wendy said before hopping into CZ's arms.
As the automaton maid started to walk out. They bumped into a cheerful looking Shion who had food on hand. However, even without the ability to taste food. CZ could already tell that Shion's cooking is a city level threat on it's own.
"Hi Lady Wendy, I was hoping to run into you. I made you lunch again after Lord Naruto accidentally hit me with that powerful water skill." Shion said.
Wendy turned into a slime as to hide her facial expression. She didn't want to hurt Shion's feeling and she didn't want to hurt herself eating that food. That's when CZ held onto Wendy tightly and started to run.
"Hey slow down! Lady Wendy needs to eat in order to grow!" Shion yelled as she chased CZ. "Stop you stupid maid!" she yelled as CZ continued to run all over the building with Shion refusing to give up.
"I will protect you Lady Wendy." CZ said while simultaneously hugging Wendy tightly.
"Too tight!" Wendy yipped.
Results For Today's Battle: Shuna Wins.
The next day
Once again taking a break from the office, Naruto decided to relax with Baskerville. Despite their bad first encounter, Naruto loved playing with his demonic canine. Too bad his other "pets" weren't as domesticated and disciplined.
"At least you're a good boy!" Naruto said as Baskerville repeatedly licked his baster.
"Ruff!" Baskerville said.
"Huh? You can change shape?" Naruto asked.
Baskerville barked again before turning into a smaller yet still ferocious looking. Still, with everything that Naruto has experienced in the past year or so. He didn't find anything threatening about his canine companion as the dog continued to lick him.
"Good boy." Naruto said as he stroked Baskerville's back.
Then he heard his work coming back, "Naruto-san, there's some a couple of things I needed you to sign off on." Yagura said as he came up with a couple of documents.
"Hey Yagura-san, have you met Baskerville yet?" Naruto asked.
Yagura smiled, "That's an adorable looking…"
"RUFF!" Baskerville barked as he transformed into his true form.
"On second thought, I will leave these with you." Yagura said as he left the documents with Naruto and ran.
"I guess Yagura likes turtles more than dogs." Naruto said as Baskerville turned small again.
Then Kurobe appeared, "Lord Naruto, I made some modifications to the weapons. I think you will find these to suit you better." he said before noticing Baskerville. Despite his small stature, the canine released his threatening aura, "Which I will leave with you to look at in private." he said as he put down the guns and left.
"Kurobe sure is busy." Naruto said unaware of the kijin's fear.
Finally Albedo appeared, "Lord Naruto, I've been meaning to tell you about…" she stopped as she looked at Baskerville. "Is this the same hound you can summon?" she asked as she bent down.
"Yes he is, Baskerville is the best friend I could ask for. Besides Wendy and Gobayashi and Gabiya and Sans and Logan when he just wants to sit down and have a deep talk." Naruto answered as he counted off his friends. "Oh, don't tell Logan what I said about our deep talks." He said.
Albedo nodded, "I won't." she said before looking deep into the multiple eyes of Baskerville. Baskerville growled at Albedo before she picked him up and smiled at him, "I have never been a lover of animals, but this little one is an exception." she said.
Naruto laughed as Baskerville started wagging his tail rapidly. However that would be the end of the fun and games as they heard fighting nearby. Naruto proceeded to look for the sounds of the fight and found Shion and Ranga wrestling on the ground. At first, he thought it was some innocent fun and games until he started sensing hostility between the both of them.
"Okay, knock it off you two!" Naruto commanded.
"Lord Naruto!" Ranga and Shion said in surprise.
"That's right, now why are you two fighting?" Naruto asked. The two looked away sheepishly, "Of course, you two need to grow up. Whatever the reason is, you need to get over it. You are friends, comrades in arms and need to stick together for Wendy and everyone else's sake." he said as the two felt ashamed.
"That's right Lord Naruto! Remind these peons as to who is in charge!" Albedo said as Baskerville growled in agreement.
"You're right Albedo, maybe I should punish you two and I don't mean in a fun way. I mean something really nasty to teach you both a lesson." Naruto said as the two felt terrified. "I could make it quick and turn you both into chairs." he said.
"Please don't, Lord Naruto! We promise we'll behave!" Shion pleaded as Ranga nodded.
Naruto sighed, "I don't like seeing you guys or anyone else fight. It really hurts, we came together and made this big nation. It just crushes mine and Wendy's hearts when our close friends just drift apart. I really don't want to punish you guys, but if it stops then the needless fights then I have to." he explained.
Suddenly the both of them were in tears, "I'm sorry Shion! We're both important to Lady Wendy! I didn't mean to rub it in your face with how close we are!" Ranga cried.
"I'm sorry too Ranga! I didn't mean to be jealous!" Shion said as the two hugged it out.
Naruto smiled, "See guys, is it really thar hard?" he asked.
"We don't want to hurt Lady Wendy!" Shion said as she kept hugging Ranga.
"And now, I'm naming today, National Canine Appreciation Day. Because spending time with your canine makes all the problems go away." Naruto said as he let those two make up.
Albedo raised a brow, "You didn't yell at them, you didn't raise a hand either. You are a kind and benevolent leader Lord Naruto." she said.
"I'm glad you think so Albedo." Naruto replied.
'Because toying with the mind and the heart. You essentially crushed the one thing that could never heal.' Albedo thought with an evil smirk.
Baskerville merely smiled at everything as if he didn't understand what was going on.

Another day later, the beach
Finally, the most fun thing that Naruto wanted to do as a child. Go the beach and soak in the beautiful and cool water. Luckily there was a beach near the capital that they could go too. Of course, Naruto brought a group with him to enjoy the festivities with. Surprisingly, Hakurou came along with Logan and Yami.
Though those three just wanted to get some fishing done in the nice serene location. They also found themselves competing to catch a massive fish they spotted.
"You girls ready?" Naruto asked from inside the boy's tent.
"Almost." Shuna said.
Seeing as the men were ready, Naruto came out with Gobta and Panther Lily in their swim shorts. All three took in that nice summer breeze as they looked at the beautiful ocean.
"This is nice, this day off isn't so bad after all." Panther Lily said.
"See? All work and play makes you very stiff and irritable." Naruto replied.
"And here comes the exciting part." Gobta said as he looked at the women's tent.
That's when all of the girls came out in sexy bikinis. Naruto did his best to stay composed while Gobta didn't hide his perverted nature in any way. Panther Lily stayed stoic the whole time but wasn't a fan of so much skin being exposed.
"I'm heading in for a quick dip." Lily said.
"Yeah, that sounds good." Naruto said as he tried to distract himself.
"What are you? Gay?" Gobta asked Naruto with a shocked face.
"Nope, just respecting women and enjoying the ocean!" Naruto lied as he felt too nervous around pretty girls.
Damn that perverted sage, otherwise known as Jiraiya! If he were here, he would likely be telling Naruto to do all sorts of things in relation to being close to several attractive women in bikinis.
"Hey, where's Lady Wendy?" Shuna asked.
"I'm coming." Wendy said as she came out in a onesie with Carla and Kanna. "Does it fit?" she asked.
Shion and Shuna looked disappointed, "But Lady Wendy, we brought this custom one for you." Shion said as she held out a skimpy bikini.
One that Naruto confiscated, "Are you insane? Wendy is too young to be showing that much skin!" he berated. "I don't know who gave you this, but I will get to the bottom of it and there will be punishment!" he promised.
"The dwarves did it." Shion admitted.
Naruto frowned, "I'm ripping this up. My little sister is too young to be dressing this skimpy." he said.
Then Naruko came out in a full body swimsuit, "I'm ready too!" she said.
"Naruko-chan, not you too! We had a swimsuit for you too!" Shion whined.
Naruko pouted, "No, not skimpy! Big brother Naruto is right! I'm not showing my tata's to anyone!" she said as she crossed her arms under her breasts.
"Yes, that would be very inappropriate." Carla said as she started walking towards the water.
Shuna sighed, "And it was a cute swimsuit too." she said as she held it out.
Naruto gently patted Shuna's back, "Shuna, you're a nice person." he said before grabbing the bikini. "But this is unacceptable." He said before proceeding to rip it apart. "Now, we can have some fun in the water." he said before jumping into the water.
"Yeah!" Wendy cheered as she jumped in as well.
With the other men
Hakurou chuckled at the scene, "Aren't you going to join them Yami?" he asked.
Yami frowned, "No, I am more interested in that fish." he said as he stretched his body.
"So am I Bub. I'm getting my hands on that thing and grilling it first." Logan said as he got his fishing kit ready.
Hakurou chuckled again, "You youngsters must be ignorant if you think I won't catch it first." he said.
"You're on old man!" Logan said accepting the challenge.
"I won't lose to either of you." Yami said as he had Naruto's competitive spirit inside of him. "I'll find it and drag it back first." he said before jumping off the cliff and into the ocean.
Logan grinned, "That's some good work ethic, but you gotta work smart." he said as he got all sorts of tools ready.
"Says the man who is overcomplicating it." Hakurou said as he pulled out a simple handmade fishing rod.
Later that evening
Gobta was somehow not in a lot of pain. As he found himself in a series beatings as he tried swimming closely towards the ladies. Which resulted him in accidentally getting tossed around by the giant waves they created with their power. It was just some playful splashing and it suddenly became a series of tsunamis.
Now Gobta found himself sinking to the bottom of the ocean until he felt a metal hook grab onto his mouth. After being pulled up, he found himself staring at Hakurou in confusion.
"Lucky catch right?" Gobta asked before being dropped.
"Very unlucky if you ask me." the elder kijin said.
"I got some good catches, but that damn fish is still hiding." Logan said as he had a big pile of fishes next to him.
"Then I suppose we have dinner at the very least. I wonder how Yami is doing." Hakurou said.
With the others
Naruto quickly caught onto Wendy's arms, "See Wendy, you won't even need my help anymore." he said.
"Don't let go big brother! I might sink!" Wendy said with worry.
"No you won't, you're a big girl. You'll be able to swim laps in a couple hours tops." Naruto said as he had to instruct Wendy on how to swim. "How are you holding up Kanna?" he asked.
"I'm good." Kanna said as she was moving with a floating tube.
Then Gobta decided to be annoying again, "I never expected you to have weird tastes Lord Naruto. Going after underdeveloped girls and…"
Naruto proceeded to web up Gobta to the point he was trapped in a five layered cocoon, "Shuna! Watch Wendy for me! I have to bury Gobta to the bottom of the ocean!" He shouted.
"Okay!" Shuna said as she swam towards Wendy. "Don't worry Lady Wendy, I'll continue your swimming lesson." She said as she gently picked up Wendy.
A little while later
After Naruto climbed out of the water from burying Gobta alive. Naruto was surprised by the sight of Treyni who was wearing a bikini with a peeved look on her face.
"Lord Naruto, while I understand that you are trying to enjoy the leisure of my forest. You are a disaster level monster and your actions along with the actions of your companions are so powerful that they scare away the lesser creatures of Jura." Treyni said as if she were berating him.
"Treyni, I know you have to act serious and everything, but if you want to tag along on our trips. You could just ask or come when you feel like it. You're essentially letting us live here with free rent." Naruto explained.
"Oh, then I suppose the business part of our meeting is over!" Treyni happily said.
"You said something similar to your coworkers before you left so they wouldn't hassle you." Naruto said as Treyni looked shocked.
"No, no… how did you know?" Treyni asked nervously.
"Because I'm a ninja!" Naruto said before exploding into smoke. Then appearing behind Treyni, "I bet you didn't expect that." he said.
"I didn't, I'm quite surprised." Treyni answered.
Naruto suddenly pulled out a slice of watermelon, "You want a slice or after taking a dip in the water?" he asked.
That evening
That giant fish that the men spotted earlier in the day came back. With Yami riding it in an attempt to stop it as it caught onto Logan's fishing line. Before Hakurou could congratulate Logan, Logan handed the fishing line over to the elder kijin.
"Hang onto it, this bastard isn't going down without a fight." Logan said as he jumped in after the fish.
"Very well." Hakurou said as he started pulling on the line.
A minute later, Hakurou used all of his strength to lift the entire fish out of the water. Along with Logan and Yami who fused together and started stabbing the fish until it was dead. By that time, Hakurou tossed it onto dry land where Yami and Logan started to plan out cooking process.
"This is going to be some good grub. Unlike the other fish we caught." Yami/Logan said together.
Just as the two were about to get cutting. Shion shoved them aside and pulled out her giant sword.
"Don't worry! I'll cut it myself!" Shion said.
"NO!" everyone yelled as they ran up to her.
"Huh?" Shion asked.
Logan dropped Yami, "Kid, let me handle it. This fish is delicate. That big thing is going to make a mess." he said trying to be gentle.
"No need, I can handle it." Shion said ignoring him.
Logan proceeded to block her path, "I am not letting you ruin this fish!" he yelled.
"Ruin? Oh! That's right! We have to cook it first! Thank you for reminding me Jimmy!" Shion said gratefully.
"That's not what I'm telling you and don't call me Jimmy!" Logan said with a tick mark on his head.
By then, Logan and just about everyone else was trying to convince Shion to back away by distracting her. That is until Naruto quickly grabbed some bottles of alcohol and handed them to Yami. Yami groaned as he realized what his "brother" was trying to tell him to do. Yami then proceeded to put an arm around Shion's waist.
"Hey Shion, do you… want to have a drink with me? Alone?" Yami asked.
"Sure, that sounds fine." Shion said as she happily accepted the alcohol.
"Nice job, taking it for the team." Logan said patting his back.
"I hate you all." Yami said as he left with Shion.
"So who's ready?" Logan asked as he extended his claws.
"I am!" Naruto said as he got the fire ready for the cookout.
That Night
Everyone started to laugh and enjoy each other's company. Of course, it was a perfect time to unwind. However, such fun moments sometimes find themselves coming to an end or leading to trouble. At least this time it wasn't Gobta's fault. Though it's a mystery as to how he came back out after Naruto buried him alive.
"I'm so glad Shion didn't ruin this big fish." Gobta said as he ate a kabob.
"Kabobs are my speciality. You kids are lucky Kurt isn't here to steal them." Logan said as he got more ready.
"Hey Logan, since you have shiny claws. Do you use them to shave?" Naruto asked.
Logan snickered, "I tried kid, not a good idea. I can tell you that much." he said.
"No wonder you look so shaggy and old." Gobta said.
Logan proceeded to toss Gobta back into the ocean, "Does that look like an old man throw to you!?" he asked angrily.
Naruto sighed, "Gobta is a masochist or something." he said.
This is not what ruined the moment. The moment was ruined by the sight of a chibi symbiote blob running towards Naruto as he finished eating. The creature dashed straight for Naruto and jumped into the air once it was close enough.
"Would you like more Lord Naruto?" Soka asked.
"No thankssssss AH!" Naruto panicked as he fell onto his back.
"Lord Naruto!" Soka shouted as she saw the creature attach itself.
Naruto proceeded toll around wildly, "AHHH!" He shouted.
"He probably ate too much." Logan commented.
"It's not the food!" Naruto yelled as he started rolling on the sand.
Treyni quickly ran up to Naruto, "I will try to find the issue." she said as her vines wrapped around Naruto. "Oh my! It's safe to say it isn't food poisoning, but… let's just say Lord Naruto is a bit too excited." she said awkwardly.
"Excited for what?" Wendy asked.
"You'll learn when you're older. I will go treat him now, alone." Treyni said as she disappeared with Naruto.
Logan looked disgusted, "I lost my appetite." he said.
"As did I." Hakurou said.
Wendy and Kanna looked confused while Shuna felt curious. So the pink haired kijin excused herself to go look for Naruto and Treyni.
"I for one feel disturbed even though I am not sure what has happened." Carla said with crossed arms.
With Naruto
Treyni smiled at Naruto who was rapidly twitching, "Lord Naruto, I think you better find some sort of release for whatever caused this." she said.
"It's Yami! I know it! I knew there was a reason he doesn't attach himself to me anymore and now he gave me his weird hyper activeness!" Naruto said angrily.
"Is that the reason? Then it appears that Lord Yami and Shion must be getting quite excited." Treyni said as Naruto felt concerned.
"What are they up to!?" Naruto asked.
"Lord Naruto, I am not sure if you know this and while I cannot completely understand the human physique. There comes a cycle when two organisms must come together and continue to populate the…"
"Treyni, I didn't know it until Yami discreetly amplified my intelligence between his nutrient runs, but as you can see. My stress has reached the level of my vocabulary to that of a grade school graduate." Naruto explained as he kept twitching.
"Oh, then I do not have to explain the reproductive cycle." Treyni said before putting together a few plants. "Surely this will help." she said as she presented a herb.
"Treyni, I am not quite sure what you have concocted. Yet this is Yami's fault and therefore, the problem must be solved with him in order for me to survive." Naruto explained.
Treyni thought it over, "Perhaps you are right." she said as Shuna arrived.
"Treyni-san! Lord Naruto!" Shuna called out.
Treyni handed Shuna the strange herbs she made, "Despite his appearance, Lord Naruto is still young and refusing to release. This should help him open up." she said before leaving to find Yami.
Shuna gently put the herbs down, "Lord Naruto, are you okay?" she asked.
"Not particularly, not right now." Naruto answered.
Shuna gently lied beside Naruto, "Then, whatever your pain is. I will stay by your side until it subsides." she said.
"Thanks Shuna, though you're free to go if you wish. This might take a while." Naruto said as he couldn't restrain himself.
Shuna gave him a soft smile as she turned towards his direction, "But then I wouldn't sleep well knowing you were alone out here." she said.
"But you'll freeze." Naruto points out.
Shuna moved closer to him and hugged him, "Then let's keep each other warm." she said.
"O-Okay." Naruto said as he still struggled.
That's when Naruto heard Yami scream in the distance.
"TREYNI THAT'S AN APHRODISIAC!"
"What was that!?" Shuna asked.
"Ignore him." Naruto said as he started to calm down a bit. 'Stupid Yami and his stupid hormones, why do I have to get excited when… whatever it is Shion is doing with him.' he thought angrily.
Back in the Tempest
Yagura sighed as he finished up paperwork. Luckily it wasn't a lot and Naruto didn't need to worry about so much work when he is around. Making the former Mizukage's job easier. Though the real problem is Albedo as she's been looking out the window like a dog waiting for their master.
"I know you miss him." Yagura said.
"Why couldn't Lord Naruto take me to the beach with him!? Am I such a bad servant that I have not earned a leisure stay with him!?" Albedo asked.
"Albedo-san, are you by chance in love with Naruto-dono?" Yagura asked.
"No! I am certainty not!" Albedo quickly denied. "My heart belongs to one man. Even in death, this commitment is strictly loyalty." she added.
"Right." Yagura said not believing anything. "Anyways, I'm glad one of us has adjusted to our new position." he said as being moved from Mizukage to a high ranking representative still feels foreign.
Then a knock on the door was heard, "Lord Yagura, it's me." Rigurd said as he came in.
"How may I help you Rigurd?" Yagura asked.
"I know Lord Naruto is away, but another human has arrived claiming to be from the same land as you." Rigurd answered.
"Care to elaborate?" Yagura asked.
"He said he is from this "Kiri" village that you mentioned." Rigurd answered.
Yagura was surprised, "Set up a meeting right away. Hopefully Naruto-dono returns tomorrow morning for this as well." he said.
"At once." The Goblin Lord said.
"You know that stranger?" Albedo asked.
"Not yet, I do not know every individual from my village." Yagura said as he left the office.
Back at the beach
Wendy yawned as she lied next to Naruko, "I miss big brother." she said.
"I do too Wendy. He'll be back later." Naruko said as she held Kanna and Wendy close to her body. "For now, I'll take care of you." She said.
"Okay, good night big sister Naruko." Wendy said.
"Good night Wendy, good night Kanna." Naruko said as both girls went to sleep along with Carla.
A few minutes later as the girls were asleep. Naruko looked up at the top of the tent with a smile. Where she proceeded to whisper as to not wake up the girls.
"Friend, can you hear me?" Naruko whispered.
A mouth slit appeared at the back of Naruko's neck, "I'm here Naruko." it said.
"What do you think of this weird place?" Naruko asked.
"Your "brother" is a respectable leader. A bit too light hearted but I can see that more caution is needed. We can't kill whatever we want anymore." the voice said.
"Big brother said I'm not allowed to hurt Shion even though her food hurts me." Naruko said with a frown.
The voice sighed, "Naruko, while Shion probably deserves it. You have no emotional control yet. You're practically a baby with a good vocabulary." she said.
"I'm not a baby." Naruko whined.
"I know, but how old are you now? Not even a whole month." the voice stated. "Still, he's your family. At least you have them while mine… oh boy." she said.
"Don't be sad friend, big brother said that he's going to summon someone from the tomb." Naruko said.
"Really? Did you hear a name?" the voice asked.
"Mara and Ario, I think." Naruko said.
"What the? I don't… ah now I see. Mare and Aura, they're two dark elves. Both are quite good with wild animals and despite their heart break, I'm sure they will look up to Lord Naruto as their sibling figure." the voice explained.
"So when can you come out? I want everyone to meet you." Naruko asked.
"Real soon, though I may need a new name. Not that I'm ungrateful, but I think it's time to evolve." the voice said. "I think I'll let you pick my new name. Though I do wish for a spectacular entrance." it added.
"Okay, I'll make your welcoming very special." Naruko happily said. "I'll talk to you again tomorrow. Good night, friend Shaltear." she said..
"Good night Naruko." Shaltear said as the mouth on Naruko's neck disappeared.
In River Country
Team 7, or what remained of it, along with a boy named Sai were making their arrival towards a cave that was blocked by a giant boulder with seals that strengthened it.
"The Kazekage must be here." Kakashi said.
"Stand back sensei, I'll break it open." Sakura said.
"Wrong ugly." Sai spoke up. "Those seals won't let your gorilla sized fists break it let alone leave a tiny crack." he said.
"How about I crack your tiny skull?" Sakura asked threateningly.
"Sakura don't let your anger control you and Sai, don't antagonize your teammate." Kakashi said.
Before Kakashi could continue while thinking of a plan to save Gaara from the Akatsuki. The boulder suddenly shattered from the inside as seals around it had started to burn away. Team 7 stood back as the smoke started to clear up. That's when they found Gaara lying on the ground along with a bunch of shattered puppets all over the cave.
"That was pathetic, you Akatsuki people are jokes." a female said.
Kakashi raised his headband and revealed his Sharingan as the smoke was completely gone. Inside, he saw the mad bomber, Deidara, looking badly injured as he faced down a dark haired girl in a revealing outfit. Deidara then noticed the path was shattered and proceeded to escape via a clay bird.
"Oh no you don't!" the girl yelled as she chased after Deidara at high speeds.
"Kakashi sensei, who was that!?" Sakura asked.
"I don't know, but you stay here and check on Gaara until reinforcements arrive." Kakashi ordered as he and Sai chased after the girl.
After a long chase, the two Konoha shinobi spotted Deidara's bird coming down. As the dark haired girl proceeded to beat the crap out of the mad bomber. When they landed, the bird exploded and destroyed a chunk of the forest. When the pair arrived to see the aftermath of the fight. They spotted Deidara looking half dead as the dark haired girl didn't look injured.
"Your bombs are so weak. I can't believe they consider you a threat in these lands." the girl said.
Deidara spat out some blood, "Bitch, you seem to forget. My art is an explosion!" he said as he released several clay birds from his sleeve.
All primed to explode once they reach the girl. Only for her to unleash powerful pink beams from her eyes that destroyed the birds. Along with Deidara, although it wasn't really him. As he somehow managed to find time to replace himself with a clay clone that was also set to explode. The resulting explosion made the girl almost stumble back.
"Woah!" the girl said before dropping a green necklace. "Oops, I almost lost that. They were right, I'm too reckless." she said to herself.
Kakashi recognized that necklace, "You!" he said.
"Huh?" the girl asked.
"Who are you and where did you get that necklace?" Kakashi asked as the girl was clearly stronger than an S ranked ninja.
"It's rude to ask for a name before giving your own. Though I'm pretty famous where I come from." the girl answered. Then she looked at her necklace, "And this necklace…"
Back with Naruto and Shuna
Naruto sighed in relief, "Good, it's finally gone." he said felt relaxed.
"Is the pain gone Lord Naruto?" Shuna asked.
"After all that time, it is and I'm content." Naruto answered. "Except now I'm too tired to get up and move back to the camp." he added.
"We can stay and sleep under the moonlight, though the sand might make things messy and it's pretty cold." Shuna said but she didn't want to leave Naruto alone.
Naruto yawned, "Don't forget Benimaru, he'll get mad if he learns that I slept beside his sister all night." he said.
Shuna giggled, "My brother should be more worried about me finding a mess at our house. Do you know how annoying it is to find his underwear hanging around?" she asked.
Naruto chuckled, "Nope, but I always try to keep things clean for Wendy and Kanna." he replied.
"I wish Benimaru was as responsible as you then." Shuna said as she scooted closer. The she looked at her leader's chest, "Lord Naruto, one more question. What is that necklace?" she asked.
"This? It belongs to my grandma. She's not my real grandma, but I treat her like she is." Naruto answered. "She's probably freaking out about me. She's also crazy strong so she would probably hit me for making her worry." he said with sad eyes.
"Do you miss your home Lord Naruto?" Shuna asked.
"My place of birth, pretty much, but this is my new home. Everyone in Tempest is my family. I never had a family for most of my life and I met grandma a few months before I left." Naruto explained.
"That's good to hear, I see you and Lady Wendy as my family too." Shuna said sweetly.
Naruto smiled as he gently wrapped an arm around Shuna, "Let's stick close then. I don't want a sea monster kidnapping my family." he said as Shuna blushed.
"I'm not a damsel, but I won't reject the offer." Shuna said as she moved her head onto Naruto's chest.
"Okay, that's good to hear." Naruto said as he started feeling sleepy. "Maybe I'll give this necklace to my own child someday." he said before falling asleep with Shuna.
Who turned bright red when Naruto mentioned wanting children.
With the girl
"…this necklace belongs to my father, the Demon Lord." she said confusing Kakashi.
SUPER CAFE
Superman smiled, "That looked like a good ending." He said.
"Yeah, but I would have done better. He should have asked Shuna if she wanted to know his secret identity." Batman said.
"But, she knows Naruto's name. He's not a superhero like you." Superman said.
"Exactly, because I'm Batman." Batman said.
"No that's not what I meant…"
"Because there can only be one Batman and that's me." Batman interrupted.
Then a small child in a costume stood beside him, "I'm Batman too." he said.
"What the heck? Who is this kid?" Superman asked.
Asura chuckled, "That's Zeno, he's a fan of Batman." he said.
"I am the night, I am the dark, I am the super boogeyman, I'm the scary things of the… scary things, I am Batman." Zeno said.
"I do not talk like that." Batman said.
Superman laughed, "Yes you do, he even copies your gargling." he said.
"I don't gargle, that's some stupid thing Christian Bale did. I don't gargle!" Batman argued.
Zeno started to wave his cape around, "In the night, Batman goes." he said before running.
Superman couldn't stop laughing, "He's just like you." he said.
"No he's not." Batman said.
Asura proceeded to put some juice out for Zeno, "I definitely see the similarities." he said.
Then Mavis came in with another Zeno, "Look who I brought." he said.
"I'm Superman! I can turn back time!" the other Zeno said as he ran around in circles.
"That does not sound anything like me." Superman said.
"I saved the day because I lost my car keys." Zeno said.
Now Batman was laughing, "Yup, definitely like you." he said.
"Shut up." Superman said.
Asura left out another glass of juice, "They really are like the Justice League." he commented.
"Please don't tell me there's more." Superman pleaded.
"Lasso of truth!" a third Zeno said as he threw a rope.
"Please stop trying to copy me." Wonder Woman said in the distance.
"We also have the Avengers, Guardians of the Glob from Image comics and one more I think." Mavis added.
Superman sighed, "This is not funny anymore." he said.
