In the city, April turns a green mini-van left down a street and races it away, with the Turtles, Splinter and Casey all inside.
Donnie: OK, pop quiz: If a...
A missile hits the ground beside the mini-van, as a E.P.F helicopter chases it in the sky.
..dozen of Agent Bishop's...
The helicopter fires another missile, making April skid the mini-van along the road, while Donnie sat beside her, with Cath being right behind them both.
..deadly commandos are chasing you at ninety miles an hour from points A...
The helicopter fired again, missing the mini-van by inches.
"Ah!" Donnie gasped, turning around.
Cath turned and saw two E.P.F armoured trucks came out of an alley, and began to chase the mini-van.
..B, and C...
The mini-vans began firing machine guns at the mini-van, smashing open the back windows.
..what are the odds...
April turned the van left down the street, as the helicopter chased after it.
..you're gonna survive the next five minutes?
April raced the mini-van down the street, when another armoured truck got in front of him.
"AH!" Donnie gasped.
"Ah!" Cath gasped, covering her mouth.
They both braced for impact as April skidded the mini-van to a halt.
In the lair, the Turtles were all sitting in front of Splinter on the mat, all meditating, with candles lit all around the mat.
"Let your minds become pools of stillness, my children." Splinter instructed. "Break the surface. Explore the depth, for that is where the true wonders lie."
Mikey put his hands together, then opened his left eye, as his family kept meditating.
"I wonder if you combine burgers and nachos into one tasty treat." he said.
He licked his lips before he went back to meditating.
"Burchos." he said.
"Michelangelo!" Splinter snapped.
Mikey, Raph and Elisa all opened their eyes.
"Busted, Mikey." Elisa teased, elbowing him slightly.
"Ah. We've been at this for hours." Raph sighed.
"Yeah. I'm starving. Why's it gotta be all minds all the time?" Mikey complained, touching his head.
"Because you have not been using them enough." Splinter answered. "Your behaviour has become increasingly sloppy."
Leo, Donnie and Cath all opened their eyes.
"A symptom of unfocused minds." Splinter explained, holding his hand up. "This lair is a reflection of those who live within it."
Near the TVs, Klunk meowed while near a pizza box, while the area was a mess.
"What does it's current state say about us?" Splinter asked.
The area around Donnie's lab was a mess too, as lab equipment was all over, with poured liquid on the table.
"We really like causal Fridays?" Mikey guessed.
"Oh, brother!" Cath sighed, facepalming herself.
"Our safety depends on us keeping our presence a secret, yet you roam the city recklessly, as if no threat existed." Splinter explained sternly.
His children all put their heads down.
"And Leonardo, your behaviour is most troubling of all." Splinter continued, getting Leo and Cath to look up. "There is a new hardness to you, one that strays from the true path of ninjutsu."
"Glad I'm not the only one who's noticed." Cath thought.
"I do what I have to to protect this family." Leo swore, putting his hand near his chest.
"Huh?" Donnie and Mikey gasped, as his siblings turned to him.
"As do I." Splinter said. "Back to mediation!"
Leo lowered his hand and sighed, then the family all began to meditate. After a minute however, Splinter moved his head slightly.
"Hmm?" he muttered.
The water in the pool/river began to bubble up.
"Ah." Splinter said, disturbed.
His children opened their eyes and stared at him.
"Sensei, you okay?" Cath asked.
"Ah!" Splinter moaned, getting up.
He fainted and fell onto his back as his children got up.
"Master Splinter?" Leo gasped, as he and Cath caught him.
They put him down carefully, as Donnie came over.
"How is he?" Donnie asked.
"His breathing's shallow." Cath explained. "He needs medical attention. Don, get my First-Aid kit?"
Donnie got up and began to walk towards his lab.
"Elisa, get the Battle Shell ready!" Leo ordered, before she got up and walked off. "Mikey, get April on the phone. Tell her we need a doctor now!"
Mikey got up and ran off, as Cath looked at him.
"Hey, what am I?" she asked. "I've been studying medicine and that for over 10 years!"
"She's right." Raph agreed, as Donnie came back.
"I know you are, Cath, but I think you need help with this one!" Leo snapped.
"You wanna take a 65 pond talking rat to the hospital?" Raph inquired.
"Yeah, are you crazy, Leo?" Donnie asked, giving Cath her kit.
Mikey approached Donnie's computer, which had a Shell-Cell nearby.
"Anybody know a veterinarian who can keep his mouth shut?" Mikey asked, picking it up.
He turned around, then heard a noise, making him look at the floor, seeing water all over.
"Uh...guys, I think something's going funny with the-" he began.
Water shot up from the pool and knocked him away, as everyone else turned to it.
"Ah!" Raph yelped.
The water began to hit he floor of the lair, then began to flood the place.
"What the shell?!" Raph exclaimed.
"How can this be?" Cath wondered, confused. "I don't it."
The water hit them, Donnie, Leo and Splinter and knocked them away.
"AH!" they yelped.
Elisa stood by the door leading to the elevator to the warehouse as the water reached her, knocking her over.
"Ah!" she yelped.
The water began to carry her away like her family.
The water soon reached TVs and living room area of the lair, knocking all the furniture away. It then reached Donnie's lab and trashed the place with its currents, then began to rise up the upper level, with all the Turtles and Splinter in.
"AHH!" they yelled.
All but Elisa and Mikey moved towards the small set of steps resembling a fire escape. Raph and Cath grabbed it and climbed up it, then turned as Donnie and Leo grabbed a railing.
"Hang on, Master Splinter." Leo said, lifting him up.
Raph and Cath grabbed their father and helped him up onto the fire escape.
Elisa moved around in the water, before she grabbed a pipe, then began to climb up it. Behind her, Mikey grabbed a washing line, then began to crawl along it upside down, just as she made it to the second floor and turned to her.
Nearby, Leo and Cath helped Splinter to the top floor, as Raph and Donnie lifted him up. Raph then climbed up the ladder, followed by Donnie, just as Elisa and Mikey ran towards them all.
"So, I think we've got a little clog in the drain." Mikey noted.
"Yeah, we got that part." Raph said sarcastically.
"More like a large clog!" Elisa retorted, annoyed.
"We'll have the ride the current out." Donnie deduced. "Hope the whole system isn't like this."
"We'll swim you out, Master." Leo promised.
"Can you hold your breath, father?" Cath asked.
"Yes." Splinter answered weakly.
Cath lifted him up and wrapped his right arm around her, then Leo did the same with his left arm.
"Now." Leo said.
They both held their breathes, then dived into the water, followed by Raph. A meowing noise made Mikey turn and gasp, seeing Klunk moving around like in a whirlpool, before he went under it.
"Klunk!" Mikey cried.
Elisa and Donnie both turned to him, before Mikey dived into the water.
"Mikey, wait?!" Elisa called.
"Yeah, the current!" Donnie warned.
Mikey surfaced, then swam frantically towards Klunk, before he dived into the water.
"Oh, Mikey, no!" Donnie gasped, touching his head.
"You better still be alive!" Elisa cried.
They both dived into the water, as parts of it rose up, sending objects flying - including one of the TVs. Mikey swam around, searching for Klunk, when the TV hit his shell, sending him down further.
"Oh!" he moaned.
He passed out, just as Donnie and Elisa swam towards him, then grabbed one of his arms each, then pulled him to the surface.
"Mikey?" Donnie panicked.
"Mikey, wake up?!" Elisa cried, tears in her eyes. "Please, you goofball?"
Beneath the water, Cath and Leo reached a door leading to the sewers while holding Master Splinter, then Raph followed them. Leo let go of Splinter and swam towards a panel, then pulled a lever on it, opening the door, sending the water down the tunnel on the other side. The current however, sent Splinter, Raph and Cath with them, then Leo lost his grip on the lever and followed.
Above the water, Donnie and Elisa kept hold of Mikey, who remained unconscious.
"Mikey, don't worry, we'll get us outta here." Donnie promised.
"Just hold on, little brother?" Elisa begged. "You ready, Don?"
"Ready." Donnie nodded.
They both held their breathes and dived into the water, then swam down the tunnel with Mikey as quickly as they could. Once near the end however, Donnie blacked out from tiredness, making Elisa turn to her, and gasp, before she passed out too.
Later, Donnie woke up, then fell to his knees and coughed, as Leo stared at him, with Cath pressing her hands on Elisa's chest, who lay nearby.
"Mikey?" Donnie coughed. "Is he..?"
"Waterlogged, but otherwise okay." Raph assured, coming over, helping Mikey along as he did.
He stopped and rested Mikey up against a wall, then backed away.
"Thanks to you and Elisa." Raph said.
Elisa began to cough, making Cath back away, before she opened her eyes.
"What..? What happened?" Elisa asked worriedly.
"You passed out." Cath answered. "So did Don. I thought you all drowned back there."
Elisa turned to Mikey, as Raph and Leo touched his shoulders, before he woke up.
"Klunk?" Mikey cried. "I...I couldn't save him."
"No one could've gotten though that crazy whirlpool, Mikey." Raph said. "This whole thing's gotta be some kind of freak accident."
"No accident!" Splinter said.
"Huh?" his children said.
They all turned to him, Cath helping Elisa up as they did, seeing him pull himself up near a garage door.
"My children, we are under attack." Splinter explained. "We must seek a safer haven."
"Father, can you walk?" Cath asked, approaching him.
"I'll try, but I may need some help, Catharina." Splinter assured.
Later, the family all reached a ladder leading to a manhole cover and the surface, Leo wearing a headset from his Shell-Cell.
"Is everyone alright, Leo?" April asked on the other end.
"We've been better." Leo answered, as he climbed up the ladder, with Splinter on his shell.
"Casey and I are on our way." April assured, as Cath began climbing after Leo.
"Thanks, April." Leo said, as Raph followed them. "We're almost to the surface."
Elisa followed Raph up the ladder, followed by Donnie, then Mikey.
"We'll look for you and Casey and the van." Leo said.
Once at the top of the ladder, he lifted up the manhole cover and moved it to his left. He then climbed out, but saw a large number of E.P.F trucks in the street. He put Splinter down as his siblings all climbed onto the surface one-by-one. Donnie turned and helped Mikey out, when they all heard chatter nearby.
"Do you guys hear something?" Elisa asked.
"Yeah, I do." Raph said.
"So do I." Cath said. "I'm getting a bad feeling about all this."
The lights all over suddenly came on, shocking the family, making them see hundreds of people in the streets, looking at them horrified. Leo and Splinter raised their arms up to cover their eyes slightly, as E.P.F helicopters showed up.
"I can't believe my eyes!" a man said.
"What are they?" another said.
"Let's get flying in!" a solider said.
"Take a look at that?" a man gasped.
"Please tell me you know this?" another asked.
Several reporters and camera people began to film and snap photos of the family.
"I saw it!" a man said.
"They got weapons!" a second exclaimed.
"Mutants!" a third exclaimed.
"The giant turtles and giant rat." a fourth said.
The Turtles all brought out their weapons.
"What the shell is going on?" Mikey wondered.
"How did we even know we'd be here?" Donnie questioned.
"And how'd did all these people find out?" Cath asked.
"Because this is right where I wanted you to be." a familiar voice sneered.
The family all turned, and saw Bishop walking down the street.
"And I made sure the Press knew about this before hand." he added.
He stopped near the trucks, as a helicopter's flashlight shined on him.
"Agent Bishop?!" Splinter scowled.
"Say hello to the world." Bishop smirked.
(Elsewhere)
A bunch of people chatted amongst themselves, while staring at a window full of TVs, which showed live news footage of the Turtles and Splinter.
"The whole wide world." Bishop sneered.
(Times Square)
The footage was on all the neon signs, exposing the family to the city.
(The street)
"This isn't like you, Bishop!" Leo snarled. "I thought you Black-Ops thugs liked to keep the shadows?"
"Extreme cases require extreme measures." Bishop smirked. "The world is now my ally. There's nowhere you can hide that some responsible citizen won't rat you out."
Splinter growled, feeling offended.
"Pardon the expression." Bishop chuckled, before snapping his fingers. "And now, let's get down to business."
His men all charged at the family.
Leo sliced the ends off two blasters, then spun around and kicked the two men away.
Donnie spun his Bo around, then dodged to his left, before whacking one in the back with it, then spun around and whacked another in the side, knocking him down.
Elisa stab her right Kama into ones blaster, short-circuiting it, then she kicked him in the chest, then spun around and kicked another.
Cath dodged as one tried to ram her, before she whacked it in the back with her right Tonfa, then knocked another's weapon out of his hands with her left one, before kicking him away.
Mikey whacked one in the face with his Nunchuck as he came at him, knocking him away, then knocked another away with it.
Raph charged at two as they came at him, then kicked the one on his left, as the other tried to whack him with his blaster. He then wrapped his arm around the soldier's body, pulling him to the ground, before he back flipped away towards his family.
The family all looked around as they heard someone whistling, before Leo and Elisa spotted Casey standing on top of a mini-van in an alley.
"Hey, fellas!" he called, waving with both hands.
"There, in the alley." Leo said.
The family all ran towards Casey's location, as the soldiers all began firing at them. They all jumped over the crowd and landed in the alley, as Casey jumped down from the mini-van.
"Come on, come on." Casey said. "Let's go!"
Donnie opened the mini-van's side door, then hopped inside, followed by Cath, Leo, Raph, Elisa, Mikey, Splinter, and then Casey.
"Hurry! Come on!" a soldier yelled, as several ran and fired at it.
"After them!" another ordered.
They all stopped and fired at the mini-van, as April - who was driving - backed it up, then turned it 90 degrees to the left, before racing it off down the road. The soldiers kept firing, until April turned the van right down the street.
"Attention all units, target is mobile." one said into a radio. "Initiate response code black sky!"
Several helicopters began to chase after the mini-van.
A little later, April raced the mini-van down a street, which had a poster of the Turtles on, which had red eyes and fanged teeth, and the words 'Green Menace' on.
"Thanks for the save." Leo said, sitting beside April.
Cath, Splinter and Casey sat behind them, while the others were all squashed in the back.
"Oh, you guys are far from saved." April said.
"What do you mean?" Cath asked, confused.
"We should head upstate." Casey suggested, raising his mask up. "You could crash and Grandma's for a while if you want."
"Perhaps that would be best for-" Splinter began.
A missile hit the road near the mini-van, making April skid it to the right, then another hit the road on its right, making her skid it to the left.
"Ah!" Mikey yelped.
He, Donnie and Elisa all turned around, seeing the helicopters chasing them all, along with the trucks.
"Any chance you can step on it, April?" Donnie asked.
"It's floored right now!" April argued. "This isn't exactly the Battle Shell?!"
"She's got a point there, Don!" Cath reasoned.
"Yeah, she's right." Raph agreed. "We don't got the juice or the punch to make this a chase."
"And we can't fight back without any of the weapons." Elisa added.
Leo looked around carefully, then he unfastened his seatbelt and opened the door.
"Leonardo!" Splinter scowled.
"Leo, what are you doing?" Cath asked frantically.
Leo pulled out one of his swords, then jumped up and dived towards one trucks, then stabbed his sword into one of the windows.
"Ah!" the driver gasped.
He skidded the truck to his left along the road, getting alongside the mini-van. Leo kept hold of his sword, before he punched and smashed open the window, then grabbed the soldier by the shirt, and threw him out of the truck.
"Ah!" the soldier yelped, before he hit and rolled along the road. "Ah! Oh!"
Leo got into the truck, then fastened the seatbelt, then looked through the door mirror, seeing another truck behind him. The truck fired a laser cannon, which hit then smashed off the window, then the helicopters began firing machine guns at it. Leo skidded his truck to his right, then raced it down an alley, scraping the sides as he did, then another van pulled over near the alley.
April kept racing the mini-van down the road, as a helicopter fired two missiles at it, hitting the road, making her skid it around. She turned it left down the street, then the helicopter fired again, this time with a cable missile. It separated into four pieces, then attached itself to the mini-van, going inside of it.
"Ah!" Mikey yelped, as two of the cables went past him, Raph, Donnie and Elisa.
"Look out!" Donnie yelled.
The other two cables came out near Casey, Splinter and Cath.
"Ah!" Casey yelped, before he laughed. "He missed."
"I wouldn't be so sure." Cath gulped.
The ends of the cables extended slightly, then shot up to the ceiling, taking Casey with them as his mask was caught on one.
"Ah!" he yelped, hitting the ceiling.
The helicopter began to back away while lifting the back end of the mini-van up, as April kept racing it.
Leo meanwhile, raced his truck down another road.
"Black Sky Leader to all units, target acquired." a soldier said over the radio.
Leo turned to a screen, showing the Mini-Van being held by the helicopter.
"Prepare for airlift." the soldier said.
Leo turned the truck right and raced it down a street.
He soon found the mini-van and raced the truck towards it, then he turned it right slightly. He raced it along the edge of a car, then shot it up into the air, then he bailed out before it hit and destroyed the helicopter, freeing the mini-van. Leo landed in a three-point stance as what was left of the helicopter hit the ground and blew up, then he turned and ran towards the mini-van.
Casey adjusted his mask, as Cath checked to see if everyone was alright, when Leo showed up by the passenger's door, then opened it.
"Show-off." Raph scoffed, folding his arms.
Leo got into the mini-van, then April raced it off, causing a newspaper on the ground to fly away, which had the 'Green Menace' headline on.
Later, a helicopter patrolled the sky for the mini-van with a flashlight, seeing no sign of it.
Down below, April turned the mini-van to her right down a street, then pulled it over behind a car, as another helicopter passed by from behind, searching for it.
"Still, they search for us." Splinter sighed.
He, his children, April and Casey saw helicopters all over through the windows, seeing four near the Manhattan Bridge.
"They have every bridge covered." Donnie gulped. "We'll never make it out to the farmhouse."
"I wouldn't be surprised if the sewers are crawling with these goons." Cath added.
"We'll have to hide in the city then." Leo decided, before turning around. "I'll call Angel and see if she has any-"
He raised his Shell-Cell up, then pressed a button on it, but a loud ringtone got out.
"Ah!" he moaned.
"That's never happened before?" Elisa recalled.
"Um, guys, trouble." Cath gulped.
Everyone turned, and saw the helicopters firing at them, making April race the mini-van down the street.
"Uh, what exactly just happened?" Mikey asked.
"They're tracking us through the Shell-Cell." Donnie realized. "They must've locked onto it's signature."
"Once we lose them then, we'll have to use a payphone to call Angel." Elisa deduced.
"Unless they're monitoring the phones too." Cath argued. "And they might've already captured Leatherhead. Or worse."
April skidded the mini-van along the road, as one helicopter flew past it, before it turned around and began chasing it.
"April, let us out of the van?" Leo asked.
"What?!" April exclaimed.
"There's a tunnel ahead." Leo explained, pointing forward. "We'll get out and take the Shell-Cell with us. Then you double back while we lead the copters away."
"Uh-uh. No way!" April argued.
"We ain't leaving you guys behind!" Casey insisted. "Neither would Angel or Leatherhead!"
"Either they get some of us, or they get all of us." Donnie reasoned.
"And it's us they want, not you two." Cath added.
"Besides, who'd call in the rescue posse?" Mikey inquired.
April and Casey thought for a minute, seeing their point, before April skidded the mini-van to her right and down into the tunnel. She pulled it over once the helicopters couldn't fire on it, then the Turtles and Splinter all got out.
"Be careful, guys." April cautioned worriedly, as Leo closed the door.
"You be careful." Mikey said. "I'm not kidding about that posse. I want a Mondo-huge one."
"Go, while we draw them off!" Leo ordered.
April raced the mini-van off down the tunnel as the family looked at each other.
"The copters will be on us as soon as we-" Splinter began.
A missile hit the other end of the tunnel, making them all turn to the mini-van, before another two missiles hit it, knocking it up against the tunnel's ceiling. It then hit the floor and blew up, killing April and Casey.
"Ah!" they gasped.
"NO!" Donnie gasped. "NOOOO!"
"This can't be happening?!" Cath cried.
They all stared at the remains of the mini-van, which was on fire, the girls with tears in their eyes.
"April?! Casey?!" Mikey cried.
"No! NOOOOO!" Donnie cried, touching his head.
"I don't believe this!" Cath cried.
"This ain't happening?" Raph exclaimed.
"You may speak truer than you know, Raphael." Splinter said.
Two trucks pulled over near the tunnel entrance.
"Come, my children. We must go." Splinter said, walking off.
His children turned to him, as he opened up a vent cover.
"But, Sensei-" Raph began.
"We must go now!" Splinter insisted, crawling through the vent.
His children all ran towards it, then began to follow him, first Donnie, then Cath, Leo, Elisa, Raph, Mikey, who closed the cover up.
Later, the family was at the harbor, at the same dock where they'd stopped the Foot Freighter over a year ago, which had a similar yacht anchored off the coast. They all stood near two small buildings nearby the harbor, all moaning the deaths of April and Casey.
"I should've changed the signature on the Shell-Cells." Donnie cried softly. "I should've known they were traceable."
"Nobody thinks it's your fault, Donnie." Raph assured. "You couldn't have known."
"But I led Bishop right to the lair." Donnie said.
"It was not Bishop who found us at the lair, Donatello." Splinter assured.
"It wasn't?" Cath inquired, confused. "Then...who did, Sensei?"
"I cannot sense the source, Catharina, but there has been a great evil in our presence all evening." Splinter assured.
"But it doesn't make any sense, Master. Who would even have that kind of power?" Donnie inquired.
"Come, Donatello?" a cold-familiar voice said. "Surely you realize there is only one who could bring this level of vengeance down upon you?"
The family gasped, all recognizing the voice, who they thought they'd never hear again.
"It can't be?" Leo questioned.
"There ain't no way!" Raph swore.
"Tell me I'm hearing things?" Cath asked, hopefully.
"If you are, then so I am." Elisa said.
A smokescreen appeared in front of them all, then a familiar set of armour came walking through it. Once it cleared, they saw it was Ch'rell, the Utrom Shredder in his armour.
"Huh?" Splinter gritted.
"How many times do we have to get rid of this guy?" Mikey questioned, as the Turtles brought out their weapons.
"Did you think my loyal servants would abandon me?" Shredder inquired. "You and the cursed Utroms thought you could send me to my doom. Instead, you have sealed yours!"
Splinter began to sniff the air, getting Cath to turn to him.
"What is it, Sensei?" she asked.
Splinter backed away unsurely, putting his hand to his chin.
"AHH!" Leo yelled, jumping up.
He dived down towards Shredder, who dodged as he tried to slash him, then Shredder whacked Leo's arm with his fist, knocking Leo down.
"AH!" he moaned.
Shredder caught Leo's sword and held it up.
"Leo?!" Cath cried.
Shredder laughed. "Quaint." he said, waving Leo's sword.
"Come on!" Raph yelled.
He and his siblings all charged in - expect Cath.
"My children, no!" Splinter cried. "There is..."
"Guys, don't!" Cath cried.
Her four siblings all ignored her and Splinter as the charged at Shredder.
"This is for April...!" Raph swore.
"..Casey...!" Donnie yelled.
"..and Klunk!" Mikey added.
"And for all the things you've done, Shredder!" Elisa yelled.
They all kept charging, then Raph tried to slash Shredder with his right Sai, but missed as Shredder dodged, then hit him in the face with his hand.
"AH!" Raph yelled, before he went flying away.
He landed near Splinter and Cath on his feet, skidding along past them as he did, before he jumped back in.
"Raph, wait?!" Cath called, following him.
Splinter turned around and walked towards a dumpster, getting behind it, as Raph jumped to pounce on Shredder, but Shredder knocked him aside with his arm. Splinter sat down behind the dumpster, then began to meditate, feeling something wrong here.
Shredder blocked Raph's Sais with Leo's swords, then knocked him away with it.
"Ah!" Raph moaned.
Elisa jumped and tried to stab Shredder with her Kamas from behind, but he turned around and kicked her away before she could.
"Uh!" she moaned, before hitting the ground.
Mikey came up behind Shredder to whack him with one of his Nunchucks, but Shredder grabbed the end of it, and then pulled it, throwing Mikey over him, snatching his Nunchuck as he did.
"AH!" Mikey yelled, before hitting the ground. "Uh!"
Donnie came charging at Shredder, then tried to whack him with his Bo, but missed as Shredder dodged and got behind him. Donnie turned around and tried again, but Shredder blocked his Bo with Leo's sword, then he hit Donnie with his gauntlet, knocking him down.
"Uh!" Donnie moaned.
Raph charged at Shredder from behind, who dodged as he tried to stab him with both Sais, then he leaned back as Raph tried to slash him with his left one. Shredder dodged a slash from Raph's right one, then kicked Raph in the shell.
"AH!" Raph moaned, crashing into some crates.
Shredder turned to Cath, who charged at him, then tried to whack him with her Tonfas, but he blocked them with Leo's sword.
"You won't get away with this Shredder!" she vowed. "We're sending you back to that ice asteroid!"
"We'll see about that." Shredder smirked.
He pulled Leo's sword back, then kicked her in the chest, sending her flying away.
"AH!" she yelled, before hitting the ground, out cold. "Oh!"
Donnie jumped up and dived towards Shredder, who turned to him, then wrapped Mikey's Nunchuck around his Bo, before pulling Donnie down.
"Ah!" Donnie gasped.
Shredder began spinning around while holding Donnie, as Mikey and Elisa looked at them.
"AHH!" Donnie yelled, as Shredder let go.
He crashed into both his siblings, knocking them out.
"Uh!" they moaned.
Raph charged at Shredder, who spun around and whacked him with Mikey's Nunchuck, knocking him down onto his knees.
"Uh!" he moaned, clutching his chest.
He looked up at Shredder, who then kicked him away.
"Ah!" he moaned.
He skidded along the ground on his shell, before he stopped.
Shredder dropped Leo's sword and Mikey's Nunchuck.
"A shame about your friends, but you won't have to miss them for very long." he said.
He approached Raph, who looked up at him.
"Ah!" Raph growled.
Shredder raised his gauntlet up to strike, as Raph spun his Sais around.
"Don't you talk about our friends?!" he yelled, throwing his Sais at Shredder.
Shredder knocked them both aside with his arms, sending one up to a cable holding a crate, slicing it up.
"Huh?" Raph muttered, looking up.
Cath sat up and shook her head, before she saw the crate heading down towards him.
"Raph, look out!" Cath cried.
Raph was about to move, when the crate - which had smaller crates on - hit and crushed him, smashing the crates, letting dozens of coffee cans out, which flew all over.
"NOOOO!" Cath cried, getting up.
Shredder turned to her as she charged at him, then she jumped up and dived towards him.
"You'll pay for this, Shredder!" she vowed.
She tried to whack him with her Tonfas, but missed as he dodged, then she turned to whack him with her right one, but he grabbed her arm and twisted it.
"AHH!" she moaned, before Shredder kicked her away. "AH!"
She landed near the smashed crates Raph was buried under.
"Oh!" she moaned.
Shredder stared at her, before Leo charged at him, then he blocked Leo's sword with his gauntlet. He blocked another slash from it, then Leo jumped as he tried to slash him, then he bent down. Leo landed on Shredder's back, then jumped away and landed behind him crouched down, then he turned and slashed Shredder, who crossed his forearms over, the impact knocking him back.
"Ah!" he growled.
He stopped near Mikey, Donnie and Elisa, as Leo came towards him, then he knocked Leo's sword out of his hand.
"Ah!" Leo gasped, as it flew into the air.
Shredder grabbed him by his sword holder and held him up, then elbowed him in the shell, knocking him down onto his chest.
"Ah!" he moaned.
Shredder laughed as he pulled himself to his knees, before he kicked him away.
"Ah!" Leo groaned.
Up above in the sky, E.P.F helicopters were overflying the area, shining searchlights down at the ground. Two of them then landed near the yacht, as more kept shining their lights on the scene.
"Ah!" Leo moaned.
A bunch of shadowy figures approached Shredder, revealing themselves to be Bishop and some of his men.
"As promised, I give you the Turtles." Shredder said. "You may take whatever pieces are left, when I have finished."
"NO!" Splinter yelled. "Enough!"
One helicopter shined its light on him as he walked down the alley.
"No one touches my children, while their is breath in this body!" he roared.
Bishop sniggered, as Shredder walked forward.
"I do not think you appreciate the forces I have united against you." Shredder said, as he stopped.
Splinter watched as Karai came up behind her father, along with Hun, Stockman, the Foot Elite, a Foot Mech, the Purple Dragons - including Dragon Face, Two-Ton and Fang. They all stared at Splinter, as Bishop grinned.
"This should be entertaining." he smirked.
Splinter looked at all the foes, as he readied himself.
"You cannot hope to defeat me!" Shredder said, walking forward. "The powers aligned against you are too great. Even you must see that now!"
"I see many things clearly now." Splinter said, closing his eyes.
(His memoires)
The lair floods completely, destroying everything.
"You have sort to cloud my..."
Klunk meows as he moves through the whirlpool.
"..senses with pain and loss and anguish."
April and Casey ride in the mini-van, as the missiles hit and destroy it.
"But there is something in the hollowness of it sounds..."
Splinter and his children all look at the van in horror.
"..the emptiness of its set..."
(Reality)
Splinter opened his eyes.
"..the shallowness of its soul, that tell me this day's events are not as they seem." he finished.
"You speak as a fool!" Shredder snarled, approaching him.
"Perhaps, but I am not speaking to you!" Splinter retorted.
He sat down on his knees and looked at Shredder.
"I wait for my true foes to reveal themselves!" he said.
Shredder raised his gauntlet up, preparing to strike.
"You cannot touch me!" Splinter said.
Shredder moved to stab Splinter, but his gauntlet went right through him.
"AHH!" he yelled.
He vanished as Splinter glowed blue, then the area vanished, showing a weird reality.
Splinter wound up in the lair, with him and his children mediating.
"My children, hear my voice?!" he called.
His children all showed up in the grey cloudy reality, all mediating.
"You are not injured. You are not battered. And most importantly, you are not beaten!"
The Turtles all opened their eyes.
"Master Splinter?" Leo said.
"Where are we?" Donnie wondered, looking around.
"I have no idea." Cath said.
All around them, five figures with familiar symbols rose up from the ground.
"This one is more powerful than we imagined." one said, Water.
The symbols all turned into the Foot Mystics, who'd survived their fight with Splinter using the Sword of Tengu two years ago.
"No matter." Metal said. "He is but one to our five."
The Foot Mystics all shot their elemental powers at Splinter, who opened his eyes and got up. He jumped backwards, then landed on the ground, then jumped again as Metal's magic almost hit him. He then jumped backwards as the others magic almost hit them, before he landed on the ground.
"This entire nightmare has been nothing but an astral dream. A tainted projection, conjured by a enemy." Splinter realized.
The Turtles all turned to him and the Foot Mystics.
"Ah!" Mikey, Raph and Elisa gasped.
"Master Splinter!" Mikey called.
"Father!" Cath cried.
"Come on, guys!" Raph said.
The Turtles all ran towards their father with their weapons out. The Foot Mystics raised their staffs up and flew away on their elemental powers, before they shot towards the same position. Splinter turned as their magic created a energy ball, which created a strong wind, before he turned to his children.
"No! They attack our minds." he explained, before getting on his knees. "We must respond in kind. Focus yourselves in mediation."
"What is it with him and mediation?" Raph questioned. "Come on, we gotta save him!"
He began to run forward when Elisa held her arm out.
"Raph, wait?" she said.
"Yeah, Raph, do what he says!" Leo ordered, putting his swords away.
His siblings all put their weapons away and approaching Splinter slowly, then they moved past him. They all turned to him and sat down, and began to meditate, as Metal and Fire left the ball and shot past them all, damaging the ground.
"Concentrate!" Splinter instructed. "You have power as great as theirs. You need only to find it, channel it."
A purple fire came up around the family as they kept mediating.
"Good, my children. Now focus?" Splinter asked, as a shield came up around them. "Strike back!"
A beam shot up from the top of the shield at the magical ball, shattering it to pieces.
"NOOO!" the Foot Mystics gasped.
They all quickly dissolved, before the family wound up back in the lair. The Turtles all opened their eyes, looking confused as they looked around.
"What the shell was that?" Raph wondered.
"Back in the lair?" Donnie questioned. "And how is it..?"
"We have not left the lair all evening." Splinter assured. "What we experienced tonight was the work of dark magic. An attempt to destroy us from the inside out."
Mikey scratched his head confused, as Cath and Elisa turned to each other.
"It's not that I don't believe you, Master, but..." Donnie began.
"I understand, Donatello." Splinter assured. "If it will ease your mind, you should call April and Casey."
Donnie got up and walked off. A familiar meowing sound made the others turn, seeing Klunk on the upper floor.
"Klunk?" Mikey said happily, getting up. "You're okay?"
He ran towards the area as Klunk meowed.
"Okay, I'm convinced." Elisa said. "That whole thing was in our heads."
"Like a bad dream." Cath shuddered. "I don't wanna relive that."
"Master, how is this even possible?" Leo asked, curiously.
"Pain is a blindly force, Leonardo - physical and emotional. They distracted us with illusions of that which would hurt us most." Splinter explained.
Donnie sat on the couch's armrest, his Shell-Cell near his ear area, talking to April.
"You sure you're alright, April?" Donnie asked. "And Casey's over there with you?"
April answered on the other end, reliving him.
"No, I guess it was nothing." he said.
"But more troubling questions remain." Splinter said. "If they can attack us on a mystic plane, what will be next? We must be on our guard."
Leo, Raph, Elisa and Cath all lowered their heads, knowing what he meant.
In the Foot Skyscraper, the Foot Mystics, all stared at a magical projector made from their staffs, showing the Turtles and Splinter in the lair. They all stopped the magic as the door behind them opened up, making them turn to it, as Karai showed up in the doorway's light.
"Fools!" she scowled, making them get up. "Another failure?"
"Mistress Karai, we were unable to destroy the Turtles and their Sensei." Earth apologized.
"But we have gained valuable knowledge for our next assault." Water assured.
"And you recklessly revealed your presence to the rodent!" Karai scowled, walking towards them, wearing Shredder's gauntlet.
"The Shredder had a greater respect for our powers." Earth said, as the Mystics bowed on their knees.
Karai walked past them all, before stopping on their right.
"I do not respect you, and I do not fear you!" she snarled. "As long as I process the Heart of Tengu, your so-called powers are mine to command!"
She turned to the Mystics and held it up, showing it was an amulet.
"Yes, Mistress Karai." the Mystics said. "We serve whomever holds the Heart of Tengu."
"I have had enough of your parlour tricks." Karai said, getting in front of them all. "The next time I attack, I assure you it will be no illusion. I will crush the Turtles with my own hands!"
She held up the gauntlet as the Mystics stared at her.
"Once and for all!" she declared, lowering it.
She turned around and stormed out of the room, before the door closed behind her.
