A/N: Please read and review?
It was a bright sunny day in New York, as a old man sweeps a path with a broom outside a store called the 'Sard sard'.
Usagi: The paths we walk in life are different for each of us.
A shadowy figure of Gennosuke walks down the road, with a wheat straw in his mouth.
"Good morning, inn keep." he said, passing the man.
"Yeah, yeah." the man said, before spotting Gen's appearance. "Huh? Ah."
He shrugs, thinking he'd imagined it, then kept on sweeping.
Gen approaches three people in the street, including an old couple.
Some walk the land without a care in the world...
"Ah!" they gasp.
..while some choose to take on burdens that would...
Gen passes a man reading a newspaper, while sitting on a bench.
..crush the spirits of most.
"AH!" the man screams, getting up and dropping his newspaper.
He turns and runs off, as Gen looks around, scratching his chin. A smell of food moves to his nose.
"Hmm?" he mutters, sniffing.
The land cares little of which path you choose.
Gen turns left and approaches the food, which was bagels.
But its inhabitants are another matter entirely.
"Ah." he said, before turning to a boy. "Merchant, how much are you asking for these tantalizing delicacies?"
"AH! AHHH!" the boy screams, as he turns and runs off.
Clearly, this is not our land.
Gen picks up the bagels and turns around.
Gennosuke and I came to visit old friends, but I fear now that our presence has done more harm than good.
Gen grins as he walks away past a car, as a teenage boy on a bicycle approaches him.
"What the..?" the boy gasps.
His bike hits the back of the car, which falls down.
"Ah!" he moans, wobbling.
He steadies himself, then looks at Gen, as the car beeps.
In the lair, Leo stood in front of a handmade obstacle course, while blindfolded. It was made up of four tri-candle holders with lit candles, that moved back and forth like pendulums. He took out his swords, then back flipped over the first set of candles, then sliced them up, then he landed near the second one, stopped the rope with his left sword, then sliced it in half with his right.
Nearby, his siblings and Casey were all watching him, Cath extremely worried, as she was worried his PTSD was getting worse.
"AH!" Leo yelled, slicing up the candles.
"I'm telling ya, Leo's going mental." Raph said.
"And it's getting worse." Cath sighed.
"I don't see what the big deal is?" Casey said, his mouth full of potato chips. "You guys are always training. So Leo's training more. So what?"
"I'd be training too, but you know, it's new comic book day." Mikey smirked.
"Not helping!" Elisa frowned, putting her hands on her hips.
Mikey looked around, as everyone stared at him.
"What?" he shrugged.
"Raph and Cath's right, Casey." Donnie said. "Leo's gotten really intense. Ever since our final showdown with the Shredder, he just seems to...angry."
"He's still got PTSD, hasn't he?" Elisa asked quietly.
"Yeah. I wish there was a cure for it." Cath sighed. "But there isn't, not medically."
"Well, I'm just saying, someone's gotta do something, or I'm gonna have to give Leo some therapy." Raph said, before clutching his fist. "Butt kicking therapy."
"Aw, I think maybe Raph's just jealous." Casey mocked. "Leo's stealing your thunder."
"Very funny." Elisa scoffed, annoyed. "You haven't seen him like we have, Case."
"Yeah. Maybe you need your butt kicked too, bonehead!" Raph snarled, pointing at Casey, before folding his arms.
"I think all of you should lay off the poor guy." Mikey suggested. "I mean, it can't be fun..."
Leo did a slice move.
"..always being the responsible one, and we're the ones who really benefit." Mikey continued.
"What do you mean?" Cath inquired.
"Well, Raph's free not to think 'cause Leo does all the thinking for him. Elisa's free to practice her calmness so she doesn't loose her temper. Don's free to dream, you're free to care for us, Cath, and I'm free to take it easy. All because Leonardo is being responsible enough for all of us."
"This isn't funny, Mikey!" Cath frowned. "This is serious! Leo's mentally ill!"
Leo - who hadn't listened to any of them - threw his right sword away with three candles wedged into it, hitting Raph's punching bag.
"Ah!" Raph gasped.
His four younger siblings flinched, Donnie and Cath both covering their mouths with their hands, as Casey dropped a potato chip.
"My...my bag?" Raph gasped, as sand poured from it. "That is it! You've had it, psycho boy!"
Mikey and Elisa both grabbed him as he tried to move forward.
"Easy, Raph?" Mikey said, as Casey got in front of him.
"Raph, clam down?!" Elisa snapped.
"You hear me?!" Raph yelled, as Leo took off his blindfold. "AGHHH!"
Leo approached the bag, as Splinter sat in front of his down.
"Raphael, enough!" he scowled, getting up.
Leo put his left sword away, then grabbed his right.
"Clam yourself, and listen?" Splinter asked, walking off as Leo pulled his sword out of the bag. "We are about to receive guests."
Leo blew out the candles, before everyone stared at the river, as a portal rose up from it, then stopped over the bridge. Leo threw the candles off his sword, then his friend Usagi stepped out of the portal, who put his hands together.
"My friends." he said, bowing his head.
Casey and the other Turtles turned to him.
"Usagi?!" Donnie, Cath and Mikey gasped.
They all ran towards him, as Elisa and Casey let go of Raph.
"Welcome, friend." Splinter said, as Leo put his sword away.
"Usagi." Leo smiled.
Gen stepped out of the portal behind Usagi.
"Greetings, Turtles." he said.
"And Gen." Raph mumbled, folding his arms. "Great."
"Doesn't Usagi have other friends beside him?" Elisa muttered.
They all began to walk around the river towards the others, as Usagi and Gen approached them.
"You're in luck. I've decided to give you another chance to impress me with this world of yours." Gen said, as the portal closed.
"You honor us with your presence, Miyamoto Usagi." Splinter said, bowing his head.
"Thank you, Sensei." Usagi said, bowing. "After witnessing your holiday festivities, I decided that I should like to see more of your world."
"You travelled through the Battle Nexus?" Leo inquired, impressed.
Gen turned right and walked off past Raph and Elisa.
"No, Leonardo-san. An old friend aided me with the ritual, so that we could come directly to this world." Usagi explained.
Gen approached Casey, who stopped and turned to him.
"Good to see you again, Saru-clan. Now, let's find something to eat." Gen said, rubbing his hands.
He turned and walked off, as Casey turned to Donnie and Cath.
"What he call me?" Casey asked, pointing at Gen.
"Uh..." Donnie muttered, scratching his head.
He turned to make sure no one but Cath was listening, then put his hand on the side of his face.
"A monkey." he whispered.
Casey frowned and gritted his teeth.
"Sorry, Case." Cath whispered.
"Okay, I think I'll catch up with you guys later." Casey said, turning around and walking off.
Later, the Turtles, Gen and Usagi were all on a rooftop in the city, Usagi wearing glasses. He and Gen stood by the edge of the rooftop, looking at the city, while the Turtles all stood further away, Leo on top of the roof entrance.
"So, how do you like the Tortuga Siblings big apple tour so far?" Mikey asked.
"Your city is quite impressive." Usagi commented.
"It's so big, so shiny, and those buildings. That's a lot of torches." Gen noted.
Raph scoffed. "Tourists." he said.
"Guess their world is way different from ours." Elisa assumed.
"Must be." Cath agreed. "I mean, Leo told us it's like stepping back in time."
"Oh, you ain't seen nothing yet." Mikey assured, approaching Gen and Usagi. "If you wanna experience New York, I've got two words for you; hot dogs."
They looked down the building, seeing a hot dog stand beneath them, as a man served a hot dog to another. A metal crane lowered down and picked up eight more hot dogs on the stand, getting both men's attention.
"Huh?" the customer muttered.
They looked as the crane lifted up the hot dogs up towards the roof, before some money notes got dropped.
"Huh?" the owner muttered.
Everyone held one hot dog each, then Gen sniffed his, before taking a bite of it, then he burped.
"Hmm?" he muttered.
He handed it to Usagi, who took it, then took a bit from it.
"I'm sorry, Michelangelo, tell me again what this is made of?" Usagi asked, pointing at it.
Later, everyone stood on another rooftop, Mikey and Elisa pointing at the Statue of Liberty, as Usagi watched it. Leo stood near them, looking around, as Cath kept her eyes on him, hoping he wouldn't get mad again.
A little later, they all stood on another rooftop, Mikey showing Gen one of his Silver Sentry comics. Mikey pointed at a picture of Sliver Sentry, then at the sky, waving his hand around as Gen ate a hot dog.
Later, they were all on another rooftop, Usagi and Gen looking down from it, seeing a Hospital down below. Cath pointed at it, then held up a medical book she brought, making Gen shrug, as Usagi nodded.
Later, they were all on the roof of Yankee Stadium, as a baseball game was on. Raph held his hands up like he was up to bat, then swung it forward, almost hitting Gen. Gen shrugged, then took out his sword and held it up, shocking all but Leo, who was looking away, then Mikey and Cath ran towards Gen.
Later, they were all in the subway tunnels, behind vent shaft. Donnie held up three fingers as a train came towards them, then lowered one, then another, then the last, then Gen and Usagi saw the train passing them.
Later, they were all in Times Square, Elisa pointing at the neon signs and the flashing lights.
Later, Leo stood by himself on a rooftop, when his siblings, Gen and Usagi all jumped onto it behind him.
"Truly amazing." Usagi said.
Donnie and Cath both leaned against the edge, as Usagi looked down at the city.
"Now this is a city." Gen commented, amazed. "So much life, so much food, so much money."
"Not too shabby, huh?" Mikey said, folding his arms as he leaned beside Donnie. "That's why they call it the greatest city on Earth."
"Really?" Usagi inquired.
"Well, our Earth anyway." Donnie reasoned.
"Well, I can see where you get your medical knowledge, Catharina-san." Usagi noted, as Cath held her book.
"Um, thanks." Cath blushed, embarrassed.
"Still, as wonderful as this world is, it makes me long for the open fields and simple pleasures of our world, eh Gennosuke?" Usagi said, approaching Gen and touching his shoulder. "Gen?"
"Hmm?" Gen muttered, touching his chin, for he liked this city a lot.
Meanwhile, in an alley, a puddle of water rose up near a wall, opening up a portal. An anthropomorphic boar stepped out of it, wearing a dark blue cape, then he opened up a scroll, before Lord Hebi appeared on it.
"Ah, Kojima. Have you found them?" he asked.
Kojima snorted and said. "I am working on it, Lord Hebi. I have tracked the Bounty Hunter and the Ronin through the wizard's portal. They will lead me right to the Kame Ninja, the one named Leonardo."
"Excellent. The Ansitusha guild does not disappoint." Lord Hebi commented. "I have only one request. When you find them and destroy all three of them, make sure it's very slow and very painful. Hssssss."
Kojima closed up the scroll and ran off down the alley.
The next morning, at sunrise in the lair, Leo tied his headband up as he came out of his room, then he jumped down to the ground floor. He grabbed a line and swung forward on it, then let go and somersaulted forward, before landing on his feet, then he brought out his swords. He jumped slightly and held them out, unaware Usagi was watching while sitting on the mat.
"The sharpest blade in all the lands is useless in untrained hands." he said.
Leo turned around to him.
"But I wonder what they say of over trained hands?" Usagi said.
"Usagi?" Leo said, putting his swords away. "I didn't figure anyone would be awake so early after last night."
He approached Usagi.
"I wanted to speak with you alone, Leonardo-san." Usagi explained. "Your eyes betray you. They show me the oppressive burden you have chosen to shoulder."
"Someone has to carry it." Leo said, definitely, as he was the oldest.
Usagi looked at him, not convinced.
"Up for some sparring?" Leo asked.
Usagi got up and pulled out one of his swords.
Soon, they were both sparring together, slashing their swords together, as Leo told Usagi what had happened during their fight with the Shredder.
Unknown to them, Cath was watching them both from above.
"I hope Usagi can get through to him, since I couldn't." she thought.
"My family needed me..." Leo began.
He sent a slash at Usagi, who ducked and rolled forward, then Leo put his right sword behind him to block a slash.
"..and I couldn't save them!"
Leo spun around, then crossed his swords over to block a slash from Usagi.
"I was useless."
He spun his swords around, then ran past Usagi, who ran past him while raising his sword up. They then turned to each other, then locked their swords together.
"I wasn't good enough!"
They pulled apart, then jumped towards each other, then slashed their swords together while diving past each other.
"I understand your fear and anger in this, Leonardo-san." Usagi said, as they landed on their feet.
They turned and then Usagi tried to slash Leo, who blocked it with his left sword.
"My own master was cut down in battle, right by my side." Usagi explained.
He pulled away, looking sad and upset.
"It was my duty to protect him. I too failed." he said.
"Usagi, I-I'm sorry." Leo said, straitening up. "I didn't know."
"Failure, fear...in the lives we lead, these things are inevitable." Usagi explained, putting his sword away, before putting his hand on Leo's shoulder. "How we deal with them; that is the true test of our character."
"I know, but, it's just that I-" Leo began.
"Hey!" Mikey called.
Leo and Usagi both turned and looked up at him, as Cath did from across the room.
"Gen's gone!" Mikey explained.
"Gone?" Cath questioned, getting everyone's attention. "Gone where... Oh, shell! Don't tell me..?"
Topside, Gen walked down a street, in broad daylight, humming happily as he looked around.
At a corner in front of him, a large, muscular, African-American man with mohawk hair came walking down with his dog. They stopped as Gen showed up in front of them, the dog growling.
"Huh?" the man muttered.
Gen looked at them both, a wheat straw in his mouth. The dog barked, but then whimpered, as the man looked stunned, but then leaned on the wall.
"AH!" he screamed.
He picked up his dog and whimpered, as Gen looked at them, eyeing his clothes.
"Hmm. I like your style, friend." Gen said.
"AGHHH!" the man screamed, as he ran past him down the street. "AGHH!"
A little later, Usagi and the Turtles were running along the rooftops together, looking for Gen.
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm stumped." Raph said, as they jumped from one rooftop to another. "We've searched the whole city? Where could Gen be?"
Mikey and Usagi landed on the rooftop, as Cath and Donnie approached their older siblings, who were leaning against the roof's edge.
"He could be in trouble." Mikey said, as he and Usagi crouched down.
"No surprise there if that's the case." Elisa agreed.
"Gennosuke has his flaws...but I'm confident he can take care of himself should he run into trouble." Usagi assured.
"Usagi, you don't understand." Cath said. "There's a reason we live underground."
"Yeah. Gen can't just go wandering the streets, especially in broad daylight." Donnie explained. "This is why we showed you the city at night."
"You see, creatures like us, we're not the norm on this world." Leo explained.
"Our friends April and Casey however, are." Elisa added.
She and Raph both got up slightly and leaned over the rooftop.
"Well, for a six-foot tall rhino, he sure ain't easy to find." Raph noted.
"Yeah. And eve if we find him, how are we gonna pull him out without us being seen?" Donnie questioned.
"That's a good point." Cath agreed. "How do we get him back?"
"Time to call in reinforcements." Leo decided. "Don, we need Casey down here, now."
"You know he's asleep." Donnie said, bringing out his Shell-cell. "Raph, you call."
Raph took the Shell-cell, then began to dial Casey's number.
"How do you track down anything in this city of stone?" Usagi asked Mikey.
"If Gen's down there, we should know pretty soon." Mikey assured. "You know, from the screams, the sirens."
Nearby, Kojima jumped off another rooftop, then landed on a dumpster bin, which he jumped off, landing in an alley. He ran off down it, as people walked by the end of it, then he hid in the shadows. He peeked out of the end of it, seeing people walking down the street, then sniffed the air, getting Gen's scent.
"Ah, the Bounty Hunter. He is close." he smirked.
"AGHHH!" a woman screamed.
Kojima turned around.
On the rooftop, Usagi and the Turtles gasped, as they heard the scream.
"Ah! AGHHH!"
"See? Just follow the screams." Mikey said.
In the street, a woman ran out of a clothes shop, before Gen came out, dressed up like the man he'd seen earlier, which was a white vest, blue pants, red shoes, and a army sash.
"Hey, hey, wait?" he called. "I said I had plenty of gold."
He stopped, looking confused, before he sniffed something.
"Ah!" he yelped, as someone snapped his picture.
He shielded his eyes with his right forearm, then lowered it, to see several people staring at him, a few with cameras.
"What is it?" a man wondered.
"Hey, look at that?" another said, as a third took a picture.
The old Cop from Halloween walked through the crowd.
"A picture, Spec." the third man said.
"Over here." a fourth said.
"Hey, you in the costume, freeze!" the Cop ordered.
He brought out his pistol and aimed it at Gen.
As the crowd got nervous, Usagi, Cath, Elisa, Donnie and Leo all looked down from the opposite rooftop.
"He's in big trouble." Cath noted.
"Sure is." Elisa agreed.
"Hands in the air!" the Cop ordered.
Gen rubbed his teeth with his finger, then chuckled while lowering it.
"What are you suppose to be, little one? One of the Shogun's soldiers?" he scoffed, laughing.
"I said hands in the air!" the Cop demanded. "Do it now!"
Gen rubbed his chin with his right hand, his left over his sword holder.
"Sorry. I don't feel like playing these games." he said, thinking it was a game.
"Aw, shell!" Donnie exclaimed.
"What a bonehead?" Elisa frowned, folding her arms.
"Should we intervene?" Usagi asked.
They all turned slightly, seeing Casey riding over to Gen on his bike.
"Hang on, there's Casey." Leo said.
Casey pulled his bike over and stared at Gen, surveying the scene.
"Oh, crud." he mumbled.
The Cop kept aiming his pistol at Gen, who didn't move an inch.
"Last chance! Get down on the ground!" the Cop ordered.
Gen began to reach for his sword.
"Help! Help!" Mikey screamed, in a girlish voice.
Everyone turned to an alleyway behind all but Gen.
Mikey held onto a fire escape ladder, as Raph was down below, throwing a bid lid, which knocked over a bin.
"Ah, help!" Mikey screamed. "An ugly short guy is attacking me! He's really, really ugly! Help!"
"You are such a mutant!" Raph grumbled, annoyed.
Mikey laughed and began climbing up the ladder, then Raph jumped and grabbed the end of it.
"AH! Help! Masher! Masher! Help! Oh!" Mikey screamed, as Raph climbed after him.
The Cop turned back to Gen, hesitating, then he turned and ran off into the alley to investigate.
Casey raced past the crowd, then pulled his bike over next to Gen.
"Hey, uh Jin." Casey said, waving. "Time to go, or we'll be late for that costume party, in your costume."
"Listen, fellow, I don't know what you're prattling on about, but..." Gen began, approaching Casey, before recognizing him. "Oh, Saru, it's you. I'm not done here, go away."
"Hey, I am not a monkey." Casey frowned, before slamming a helmet on Gen's head. "Now get on?"
Gen fiddled with his helmet slightly, before he got onto the back of the bike, grumbling as he did. Casey revved up the bike, and then raced it off down the street, as everyone watched.
Unknown to the Turtles and Usagi, Kojima had been watching and sniffing from a water tower across the street.
"Yes. I have your scent now, foolish one, and your allies as well." he said.
He saw Casey racing his bike off, before spotting Usagi, Leo, Donnie, Cath and Elisa on the rooftop.
"Casey's got him." Donnie said.
"That's a relief." Cath said.
"He'll meet us back at the lair." Donnie said. "That was close."
"A bit too close." Elisa noted.
Mikey climbed to the top of the ladder, getting their attention.
"Disaster averted." he said. "Now how about we get the shell outta here?"
"Come on, Mikey, I'm not exactly enjoying the view down here." Raph complained, holding the ladder beneath him.
"Oh, right." Mikey said, turning to him. "Sorry, I..."
Two sharp spikes shot down towards the roof, wedging themselves in right next to Mikey.
"Ah!" he yelped, before the ladder began to fall off the wall. "Hey!"
"What the...?!" Raph exclaimed.
"AGHHH!" they screamed, as the ladder fell off.
"Raph! Mikey!" Cath cried, running to the edge of the roof.
Mikey and Raph pass by a window, where a man is brushing his teeth, before Mikey grabbed the baclony.
"AHH!" he screamed.
"Gotcha!" Raph said, grabbing his hand.
"And apparently reports of a..." said a Newsman.
Mikey and Raph both climbed onto the balcony.
"..a rhino loose on the lower-East side."
The man spat into the sink, as the two Turtles began climbing up from balcony to balcony to the rooftop.
"In world news..."
On the roof, Usagi and the other Turtles all saw Kojima landed near them.
"Ah!" Donnie yelped.
Kojima snorted as Usagi and the Turtles brought out their weapons.
"Who are you, stranger?" Usagi asked.
"Surely my reputation proceeds me, Ronin." Kojima said, removing his hood.
Usagi and the Turtles gasped while staring at him.
"Kojima? It can't be?!" Usagi exclaimed.
"Miyamoto Usagi and the kame Leonardo, I presume?" Kojima inquired. "I look forward to testing myself against you."
Raph jumped onto the rooftop.
"Don't even think it, piggy!" he said, bringing out his Sais, as Mikey jumped and landed beside him.
"A pig? Looks more like a boar." Donnie said.
"A boar?" Cath questioned. "He looks more like a warthog to me."
"Or a mixture of both." Elisa noted.
Kojima ripped off his cloak and turned around, snorting slightly. He held up a big Sai, then threw three small sacks up into the air, with smoke coming from them.
"Look out!" Usagi yelled.
"NOOOO!" Leo cried.
The sacks landed on the ground near Raph and Mikey, then exploded, creating an smokescreen.
"AH!" Raph and Mikey yelled, getting knocked backwards.
They both hit the roof on their chests.
"Guys, the roof!" Leo exclaimed, as it started to crack. "Move!"
Raph and Mikey both looked up, before the area around them cracked more, causing them both to fall through the roof.
"AHH!" they yelled.
"NOOO!" Cath cried.
"Uh!" Raph and Mikey moaned, hitting the floor.
Kojima looked down at the hole, staring at them both.
"This will be easier than I expected." he said, putting his fists on his hips.
Usagi held Leo back, as Donnie and the girls got up.
"And I was so looking forward to a challenge." Kojima snorted.
"Hyah!" Donnie yelled, spinning around.
He tried to kick Kojima, but he grabbed his foot, then threw him away.
"AHHH!" Donnie yelled.
He hit and rolled along the rooftop, hitting the ledge while upside down.
"Uh!" he moaned.
"Don!" Leo cried.
Kojima turned as both girls charged at him.
"Two girls, eh? Not my taste." he snorted.
Cath and Elisa both stopped and glared at him.
"What's the matter? Scared of being beaten by girls, snot-breath?!" Elisa teased.
"Oh, I'm never scared." Kojima sneered.
"Prove it then?" Cath dared, glaring at him.
Kojima smirked, then dodged as Elisa tried to punch him, before he grabbed her forearm and squeezed it.
"AHH!" she cried.
"Let her go!" Cath demanded.
"As you wish." Kojima smirked.
He spun around and threw Elisa away, landing near Donnie on her shell.
"OH!" she moaned.
"Ah!" Cath gasped, turning to her.
She turned back, then dodged as Kojima tried to punch her, before she axe kicked his chest slightly, knocking him back. He then grabbed her leg however, then threw her over to Elisa, who lifted her head up.
"Uh-oh!" Elisa gulped.
Cath landed right on top of her, knocking them both out cold.
"Uh!" they moaned.
"Cath! Ellie!" Leo cried.
He ran over to his three siblings, then turned Donnie over as he woke up. Leo glared at Kojima, as Donnie got to his feet, as Leo approached Kojima, bringing out his swords as he did.
"Now, just the three of us." he said. "Don't worry, I'll find the Bounty Hunter later. He is on Lord Hebi's list, as well as Lord Noriyuki."
"Hebi?" Usagi gasped. "He hired the assassins guild?"
"None other. You and your comrades have no chance against me." Kojima snorted.
"Leonardo, tread carefully." Usagi advised. "Kojima is a legend in my world. An assassin and weapons master without equal."
Leo charged at him. "In your world maybe, but not mine!" he snapped, ignoring him, as Kojima threw a smoke pellet down.
Usagi ran towards Leo, then they both slashed at the smoke, but found out Kojima had vanished.
"Huh?" Leo muttered.
Kojima landed behind Leo, then Usagi tried to slash him, but he back flipped away, then Usagi and Leo chased after him.
In the lair, Gen - in his normal outfit - was sitting on the couch, reading one of Mikey's comic books, while Splinter paced near the TVs.
"I don't get it." Casey said, coming over. "They should've been back by now."
"Hmph. Ninja hospitality. With any luck, they'll return with food." Gen said.
Splinter kept pacing as Casey turned to Gen, getting worried for the Turtles.
On the rooftop, Leo and Usagi stood on either side of Kojima on the roof's ledge, who held two swords. He blocked Leo's right with his left, then blocked Usagi's with his right, then he turned to Leo, who blocked his right sword with his own right. Leo backed away as Kojima moved towards him, with Usagi following, then Leo jumped up onto a higher ledge as Kojima tried to slash him.
Kojima turned around and blocked Usagi's sword with his right one, then he back flipped towards Leo, who jumped down to a lower part of the ledge. Usagi jumped to slash Kojima, who blocked his sword with his right one, then Leo side flipped away as Kojima jumped down and tried to slash him. Kojima blocked two slashes from Usagi as Leo backed away from him, then he blocked one from both Leo and Usagi, before he punched Leo, knocking him down where the hole in the ledge was.
"Ah!" Leo moaned.
He landed where the hole was, then crossed his swords over, holding back Kojima's foot as he tried to stomp on him. He gritted as he pulled himself up, while Usagi blocked Kojima's right sword with his own. He pressed his foot down, pinning Leo back down, then he jumped over Usagi, who tried to slash him, landing behind him as Leo got up. Leo rolled onto the rooftop, then Kojima jumped down behind him, then he put his swords behind him to block Kojima's right.
"Ah!" Leo gritted.
He pulled his swords around, then turned around and blocked Kojima's with his left, then Kojima blocked Usagi's sword with his other one. Leo pulled his sword back, then spun around to kick Kojima, but missed as he spun around himself, then he pulled his other sword away from Usagi's. He then locked his right sword with Usagi's, then blocked Leo's swords with his other one.
"Ah!" Leo gritted.
He backed away as Kojima tried to slash him, then Kojima blocked Usagi's sword with his right one. They all moved along the rooftop, then Kojima blocked attacks from them both with his swords, then he spun around and sent one at them each, but then blocked them, then he kicked Usagi away.
"UH!" Usagi moaned.
He flipped forward and landed crouched down on the ledge.
Leo tried to slash Kojima, but he dodged, getting his sword stuck into the ledge. Kojima blew some powder into his face, making him stumble back while blinded, then knocked Leo's right sword out of his hand. It flew towards Usagi, who knocked it away with his sword, then Kojima ducked as Leo tried to slash him while stumbling around, then he got behind Leo and kicked his shell.
"AH!" Leo yelled, as he went flying across the rooftop.
He landed on his feet, then began to rub his eyes with his forearm, as Kojima brought out a rope.
"Usagi, I can't see!" Leo cried, as Kojima threw his rope at him, wrapping around his right wrist. "AH!"
Kojima pulled Leo towards him, who then lost his sword and hit the rooftop on his shell. He laughed as he held up the other end, as a blade came out, showing it was a Kusarigama, then he pulled on the rope end as Leo sat up, pulling his wrist behind him.
"NOOO!" Usagi yelled.
He dived in and sliced the rope in half, causing Leo to roll forward and fall onto his chest. Usagi tried to slash Kojima, but he blocked it with his sword, then he tried to hit Usagi with his Kusarigama, but he blocked it with his sword. They both then slashed swords together, as Leo rubbed his eyes.
In the building, Raph woke up and approaching Mikey, who lay in some rubble, as Usagi back flipped over the hole, with Kojima chasing him.
"Alright, Mikey, rise and shine." Raph said.
He lifted some rubble off Mikey and pushed it away.
"Ah..." Mikey moaned, rubbing his head.
He touched his shell with both hands.
"I love... OW!" he moaned, as his back cracks. "..being a Turtle."
He rolled his right arm, cracking his shoulder.
"OW!" he moaned.
"You're lucky your shell is as thick as your head." Raph said.
"Guess Cath will have to look at me later." Mikey assumed, wrapping his arm around Raph, who helped him up.
"Yeah, but not now. We gotta get back up there." Raph said.
On the end of the roof, both girls began to wake up, Cath rolling off Elisa as she did.
"You okay?" Cath asked.
"Yeah...mostly!" Elisa moaned, stretching her arms out, cracking them slightly.
Cath tried to get up, but then nearly fell, making Elisa catch her.
"Okay...guess we're both injured slightly." Cath deduced.
"Uh-huh." Elisa agreed.
Leo rubbed his eyes, as Usagi and Kojima had their swords locked, then Usagi pulled away before Kojima knocked him away. He turned and ran over to Leo, before Usagi dived in front of him.
"You may not have him, assassin!" Usagi said.
Kojima put his Kusarigama away, then pulled out a longer sword. He and Usagi charged at each other, then slashed their swords together five times, as Leo kept rubbing his eyes. They slashed their swords together three more times, locking them together as they gritted. Usagi skidded his feet back along the roof, then fell to his knees, before Kojima knocked his sword into the air, then he kicked Usagi, knocking him down.
Leo woke up as Usagi's sword landed near him, his vison blurred as he stared at Kojima and Usagi.
"Kojima will remember you, Ronin." Kojima promised, as Leo's vison cleared. "Take comfort in that."
He raised his sword up, prepared to strike Usagi, when Leo dived and ponced on him.
"NOOO!" he yelled.
Kojima rolled backwards and landed on one knee, as Leo landed crouched in front of him. He then grabbed Kojima's forearms, as Kojima tried to slash him.
"You will leave my friends and my family..!" Leo growled, throwing the sword away. "..alone!"
He punched Kojima's belly, knocking him back, then he got onto his shell and spun around.
"AHHH!" he yelled.
He put his hands on the roof, standing upside down, before kicking Kojima away.
"OH!" Kojima moaned.
Leo flipped himself forward as Kojima hit the roof on his back, then Leo landed on his feet.
Raph kicked open the door to the roof entrance, then he and Mikey came out onto the roof. Kojima lifted himself up, as Donnie jumped down and landed behind him, as followed by Elisa and Cath, despite her sore ankle. All but Leo approached Kojima with their weapons, who backed away to the edge of the roof.
"Come, come, I am Kojima!" he said, bringing out a sword and the end of the Kusarigama. "Greatest off all assassins! I am..."
Leo picked up his swords by Usagi, then jumped up and dived towards him. Kojima looked up, as Leo slashed his swords past each other, cutting him slightly, making him drop his weapons as Leo landed behind him.
"Kojima." Kojima said, falling to his knees.
He fell onto his chest, out cold.
"Well, that takes care of him." Donnie said.
"Okay, time to check on injures." Cath said.
Later, in the lair, a portal was open by the bridge, as Gen stood near Kojima, who had his hands tied. The four middle Turtles all stood with them, Cath having patched up Mikey's busied shoulder, Elisa's left wrist, and Donnie's left ankle, which was sore. As for her own injure, Donnie had patched it up for her, via her instructions, as she was the doctor.
"Ah, going so soon, Gen?" Raph said.
"I hate to leave, but there must be a fortunes bounty on this assassin's head." Gen said, punching Kojima's head softly. "I think I can convince Usagi to cut me in."
"Good luck with that." Cath said.
"Yeah. Still, it's too bad." Raph said, as he and Donnie approached Gen.
"We'll miss you." Donnie said, as they touched his shoulders. "Be sure to write."
"If you can where your from." Elisa teased.
"Perhaps I'll come back soon and see more of your world." Gen said, touching his robes, before rubbing his chin. "I've heard of a place, they call it, Las Vegas. I would very much like to see that."
He walked towards the portal, as the four Turtles turned to each other.
"The city of sin." Cath muttered.
"No surprise since he's a gambler." Elisa reasoned.
"Still, how 'bout in a hundred or so years." Donnie whispered.
They and Raph all walked off as Leo and Usagi came into the lair and approached Splinter.
"Thank you for visiting, Usagi." Leo said, as they stopped by Splinter. "It's always good to see you."
"Leonardo-san, you must let go of this pain you carry, these feelings of guilt." Usagi said, touching Leo's shoulder, before Leo walked off.
He stopped and closed his eyes.
"A true bushido warrior accepts what he cannot chance." Usagi explained, as Leo opened his eyes.
"I am grateful for your concern, Usagi, but I will decide what I can and cannot change." Leo said.
They both turned and bowed to each other.
"I wish you a good journey, my friend." Leo said, turning around.
He walked off, as Usagi stared at him.
"Thank you, Miyamoto Usagi." Splinter said. "When I asked you to come, I hoped you could reach him, since my daughter Catharina can't. But now I fear my son is now travelling down a difficult path. A path it seems he must travel alone."
They both approached Gen and the others, then Gen pulled Kojima to his feet.
"I wish you good luck, Master Splinter." Usagi said, as he and Splinter bowed.
He turned and pushed Kojima into the portal.
"Farewell, my friends." he said, following him.
Gen got in front of the portal, a wheat straw in his mouth.
"So long, boys and girls." he said, waving.
He turned and walked into the portal, chuckling as he did.
"AHHH!" Mikey screamed.
All but Leo turned to the upper floor, seeing Mikey running out of his room, his shoulder bandaged up.
"Stop him! Don't let him go!" he cried.
"Mikey?" Donnie questioned.
Mikey crouched down and touched his head as the portal closed.
"What now, shell-for-brains?" Raph asked.
"Care to explain?" Elisa inquired.
"My Silver Sentry comics." Mikey said, lowering his hands. "Gen, he- He took 'em! All of 'em. NOOO!"
He touched the sides of his head again, completely upset about what had happened.
