Minutes Later – Edge City Library
It was earlier in the morning as Evelyn made her way into the library the building looked almost empty save for a couple of security guards as well as a few members of staff as she entered the building she noticed something strange her manager wasn't present.
"That's odd," she said to herself as she sat behind her desk.
"I wonder where she could be?" She asked herself as she managed to sit down behind her desk.
As she sat down the main doors opened and in walked her boss from the look of her as she looked as pale as a sheet Evelyn could tell that something happened to her. She walked inside and spotted Evelyn as she began to prepare for her shift.
"You there where were you last night?" She asked in a blunt voice.
Evelyn looked at her, "I was at home alone last night MISS." She said in a low voice as if she was talking with a school teacher.
"Never mind I must have had too much to drink." Her manager said as she walked off leaving Evelyn alone, just then as Evelyn was about to do some work an angry customer approached her desk.
"Hey, you four eyes." She said in a very rude manner, "I have been phoning this library for quite some time to ask about a book reservation I haven't heard anything back from you or your staff." Evelyn stopped what she was doing and looked at the other woman her eyes turned green as she became angry.
"Would you mind not having that attitude with me as I don't like your tone?" She snapped in a voice that wasn't hers, to this the other woman took a step back afraid of what she might do or say, when she was out of sight Evelyn sat up and walked from her desk to the bathroom unsure of why she had said or done what she had said?
Seconds Later – Edge City Library's Restroom
She then walked inside and filled the sink full of water, unnerved by what she had said she began washing her face, dunking her head in the basin when she did this she looked at herself in a mirror which hung from a wall, however inside of looking at her own reflection she saw something which shocked her. Looking at her from the other side was her except her other self-had a large green head.
"Heya sugar did you miss me?" She asked her. Evelyn dropped to her knees and began rubbing her eyes thinking that this was some crazy dream.
Her green headed other then smiled at her showing her a set of large perfect white teeth.
"This is no dream sugar this is all for real." She said as she smiled at her.
"What are you?" Evelyn asked as she forced herself towards the mirror.
"I am you sugar call me Eve and this is what you became last night when you put on the Mask." Evelyn felt herself shaking all of a suddenly it came back to her, Stanley and her in his apartment her putting on the Mask and then her making out with him at the Coco Bongo and then back at her apartment making love to him. Evelyn gulped as she realized that they had both had sex if her masked self-had a green head then what would their children be like?
Before her masked self could say anymore Evelyn rushed out of the bathroom and out of the library back to her apartment where the Mask was still waiting with Stanley. It didn't take her long to reach her apartment there she found that Stanley had gone and was nowhere to be seen. She looked around hoping that she could find him.
"Where could he have gone to?" She asked herself frantically, she then thought and then it hit her, Edge City Bank. She then ran out of the building hoping that she could catch him and maybe have a word regarding the Mask and what had happened between them both the night before.
Later – Edge City Bank
Stanley was on his lunch just now minding his own business the memory of Evelyn was still in his mind as he tried to remove the thought of her with the Mask from his head, as he sat away from his desk he heard the door opening he stood up and watched as Evelyn walked inside his mouth dropped open why was she here? Did she know about the Mask? He tried to hide but unfortunately ended up smashing a plant pot Evelyn turned towards the source of the sound and homed in on Stanley as she did Stanley felt a sense of nerves rising within himself.
"Hey Evelyn how's it going?" He asked her as she came near his desk.
"You can stop being polite Stanley as you know why I am here don't you?" Stanley looked at her and gulped.
"For the Mask?" He said as she nodded, she then came towards him here eyes changed then from brown to bright green.
"I am here now sugar come on why don't you give your green headed princess a kiss." She said as she threw herself on top of him making out as she did.
"Evelyn I know that you can hear me stop this as this is not you." Stanley begged.
Seconds Later - Outside Stanley's Office
As this was happening a young female reporter stood in line waiting to cash a check, she listened to Stanleys moaning.
"That sounds like Stanley and it sounds like trouble with the Mask." She then stopped what she was doing and walked towards the source of the noise, when she found Stanley she saw Evelyn on top of him undoing his shirt when Stanley saw her his face was filled with joy.
"Peggy is that you?" He asked as soon as he did Evelyn stopped her advances and looked up towards Peggy her eyes returned to normal, as she looked a sensation came over her, Peggy was young in her twenties and had pale white skin her hair was medium length and was flaming red she had dark brown eyes. Evelyn could feel her heart beating as she looked at her falling slowly for her. Peggy smiled at them both.
"What happened here Stanley as I thought that I heard something in regards to the Mask?" Evelyn picked herself up.
"The Mask?" She asked as she remembered her visions.
"What do you know about the Mask?" She asked Peggy who began to look around the bank to see if anyone was watching them or listening in. She then turned to them both.
"Listen not here as I don't think that it's safe why don't we go back to Stanley's apartment and I'll explain everything okay?" She then said her goodbyes and then left again for the line to cash her check leaving Evelyn to think about the Mask and it's abilities.
