A/N: Please read and review?
In a sewer tunnel, a light flashes on and off, s Leo and Cath both walked down it, turning left as they did.
Leo: Things are not good, and they're getting worse by the second.
Elisa, Raph and Mikey follow the others down the tunnel, all wearing their outbreak hunting equipment.
We could really use good old Donnie right about now.
They look around nervously while they kept walking.
Ever since Bishop's mutant outbreak began, Don's been the one guiding us through this whole mess.
Leo stops and holds up his hand, making the others stop.
Coming up with all the answers...
Mikey flinches as a large shadow shows up behind him on the ceiling.
...with Cath's help that is.
Slime fell from the ceiling onto Mikey's head, making him touch it, before looking at his hand. He turned around and whimpers, as the hand moves towards him, before it flicked him away.
"AHH!" he yells.
He shoots past his siblings, who all turn to him.
"Mikey!" Raph cries.
"Mikey, no!" Cath cries.
Mikey hits a wall and falls onto his chest.
The other four Turtles look around for the shadowy figure.
There have been hundreds of times we've been turtle-waxed if Don's brains hadn't bailed us out.
Raph and Elisa back away before the figure grabs them both from behind him.
"AHH!" they yelp, as it pulls them away.
Leo and Cath turn to them.
"Raph!" Leo cries.
"Elisa!" Cath cries.
They both run forward, then stare down the tunnel.
It's too bad Don's not here now...
Leo shines a flashlight down the tunnel, showing a large monstrous turtle holding Raph and Elisa, who roared while turning around.
...because this is definitely one of those times.
Leo and Cath gasp as the monster roars.
In April's apartment above her shop, April was sitting in front of a mirror, putting lipstick on her lips, while dressed up as a biker chick, including a hat, and torn holes in the pants. She grinned while looking at herself, when someone knocked on the door.
"Coming!" she said.
She got up and walked towards the door, then opened it up, showing Casey waiting. He was wearing a suit, tie, had his hair tied in a ponytail, and had a bouquet of flowers.
"Uh... Casey, look at you." she said, surprised.
"Goon-gala." Casey said, impressed.
He handed April the flowers, who laughed and blushed.
"I'll take that as a complement." she said.
She took the flowers, then turned and walked off, as Casey entered the apartment, then closed the door behind him.
"Sheesh, April, that's a great look for ya and all, but, uh, well, aren't you, you know, gonna get ready?" Casey asked.
"I've been getting ready all afternoon." April explained. "My hair took me two hours."
"And it's unbelievable awesome. But I got you reservations at that swank joint you're always talking about, Chez Bonne." Casey explained.
"I- Well, I thought you wanted to go on a romantic motorcycle ride and maybe hit a few biker clubs." April said.
"Uh, yeah, I-" Casey said.
"I thought you want-" April said.
"I figured that we, uh-" Casey said.
"We could-" April said.
"Maybe-" Casey said.
"Or how 'bout-" April said.
They both laughed when someone knocked on the door.
"Now who could that be?" April wondered, approaching it.
She opened the door, seeing the Turtles on the other side, all in their gear for fighting the monsters, expect for Donnie.
"Guys!" she said, surprised. "Hey, this is unexpected."
"Sorry, April, but we're on our way to a possible Mutant Outbreak at the Power Plant, and-" Leo began.
They all moved aside as Donnie showed up, looking pale and sick, without his Bo.
"Achoo!" he sneezed into his hand.
He leaned on the edge of the doorway as Cath steadied him.
"Whoa. Don, you're looking greener than usual." April noted. "A lot greener than usual."
"I know." Donnie said, entering the apartment. "I-"
He blew his beak/nose into a handkerchief while leaning on the door.
"I picked up this little bug and I haven't been able to shake it." he explained, as Raph, Mikey and Elisa walked past him, then he blew into the handkerchief again. "I was feeling alright, but I just can't handle Mutants right now."
"Did you figure that out before or after your barfed in the Battle Shell?" Mikey asked.
"Mikey!" Raph snarled, whacking his head.
"Ow!" Mikey yelped.
"That wasn't funny, blockhead!" Elisa scowled.
"And adults are talking." Raph added. "April, can you keep an eye on Donnie for us?"
"Achoo!" Donnie sneezed.
He blew into the handkerchief, then snorted weakly.
"Of course Don can stay here." April said. "I mean, we weren't going anywhere anyway."
She touched Donnie's shoulder and led him to the couch.
"Bro, you are seriously cramping my style." Casey whispered.
"Sorry." Donnie said.
He turned and sat on the couch, as Casey turned to Cath.
"Cath, can't you look after him?" Casey asked.
"Not this time." Cath sighed. "The way this Outbreak is, I'm needed more in the field. It's bad enough we're one Turtle short right now. We don't need two."
"She's right." Elisa agreed. "This is way out of hand, and we can't afford to be more short-handed."
"You guys have been on monster patrol for weeks. What's the plan, clean up all the mutants in Manhattan?" April asked, turning to the Turtles.
"Well, no." Leo said, shaking his head. "This Outbreak is way more than six Turtles can handle. We're just trying to keep it from spreading."
"Well, go get 'em, guys." April said. "We'll watch Don."
"Donnie, take it easy, bro?" Leo advised, as the others left - expect Cath.
"Take care of yourself, Don." Cath said.
She closed the door behind her as she left.
"Good lu-uh-uh-achoo" Donnie began, before he sneezed. "Achoo!"
Casey sighed and facepalmed himself.
"Oh..." Donnie said weakly.
"Come on, sickly Mutant Ninja Turtle, you better lie down before you fall down." Casey said, lying Donnie down on his shell.
He picked up a blanket and wrapped it around Donnie, who fell asleep.
"There. Comfy?" he asked.
April looked blankly at the two.
Later, at the Power Plant, a few Mutant crabs were trashing the place, destroying generators. They banged their arms against another as the workers ran off scared, when the Battle Shell pulled over, then the five Turtles got out and ran towards the front of it.
"Okay, Mikey, you take the left." Leo said. "Don, you cover me on-"
"Uh, Don's home sick from school today, Leo." Mikey reminded him.
"Yeah, there's only five of us tonight." Elisa added.
"Right. Raph, you cover me on the right." Leo instructed. "Elisa, back me up. Cath, you act as back-up to anyone who needs it."
"Gotcha." Cath said.
"And remember, guys, just contain them." Leo explained. "Do not splatter them!"
He ran off, followed by the girls.
"We know the drill." Raph said, as he and Mikey followed. "Can't have that cream filling spilling out, infecting other creatures with the freako DNA. Last thing we need is more genetic rejects."
"Especially with Don being sick and unable to help." Elisa added.
"Hey, I mean, we already got, Mikey." Raph said.
"Oh, yeah, true." Elisa smirked.
Mikey blew a raspberry at them both, before they all approached the crabs, who turned to them.
Leo and Elisa both jumped and kicked one, knocking it back slightly, before it began whacking its arm along the ground. Both Turtles did a side jump to their right, then did another as the crab tried to hit them with its arm, then they ran off as it tried again.
Raph ran towards another crab while spinning a metal bola around, then threw it at the crab, which wrapped around its legs, making it fall onto its back. It roared before snipping its left leg off, then it grabbed Raph with its right claw, picking him up.
"AH!" he gritted. "AHH!"
The crab lifted its arm up and pulled Raph towards him, as Cath and Mikey both came towards him.
"Hey, don't eat Raph! You don't know where he's been!" Mikey said.
"Mikey, this isn't the time for jokes!" Cath scowled.
Mikey jumped and kicked the Crab's face, knocking it back as it let go of Raph, who landed near Cath.
"You okay, bro?" Cath asked.
"I've been better, sis." Raph assured.
They both turned to the crab as it stumbled into a power generator, frying it, destroying the crab with a massive explosion, which knocked all three Turtles down.
"Ah!" Mikey moaned.
"Uh!" Raph moaned.
"Ugh!" Cath grunted.
They all looked at the crab as one of its claws hit the ground, before the city power went out.
"Oops." Mikey said, chuckling nervously.
"Mikey, you blacked out the city!" Raph said, seeing lights going off all over the city.
"Nice going, shell-for-brains!" Cath scowled.
In April's apartment, the power out there too, as dogs barked in the street, Casey and April - who sat by Donnie's legs - looked around.
"Casey, grab the flashlight." April said, pointing at her bedroom door. "My room, on the dresser."
Casey turned and walked towards it, as Donnie sat up.
"AHH!" he groaned painfully, touching his bandage on his leg.
"Donnie, you're burning up." April said, feeling his forehead.
"The cut on my leg, ah! It hurts like shell of a sudden...burning!" Donnie moaned.
April turned as she heard something smash from her bedroom.
"Oops. My bad. Wait, I got it." Casey said, before he smashed something. "Uh-oh, don't got it."
April sighed. "Sit tight, Don, be right back." she promised.
She got up and walked towards the door.
"Uh! AHH!" Donnie moaned, sweat pouring from his face. "Ah! AH!"
He looked at his bandage, as bubbles began to form in his leg, crawling and bulging.
"AHH!" he screamed, as his bandage fell off.
His leg began to grow bigger, along with his other one.
"NO!" he grunted.
He turned so his feet were on the floor, as he felt his entire body crawling from inside.
"Oh!" he moaned. "OH!"
His armbands fell off, followed by his knee ones, then his belt, then his eyes turned red as his whole body grew larger and brawnier.
"AH!" he roared, getting up.
In the bedroom, April shined the flashlight over a lamp, which was what Casey had broken.
"Sorry, April." he said, crouching near it.
"Casey!" Donnie said weakly, as Casey picked up a piece. "April!"
Casey put the piece down as they both ran towards the door, then into the sitting room, seeing Donnie's equipment on or near the couch.
"Don?" April said.
"Help...me?!" Donnie grunted.
April shined the flashlight on him as he turned around, seeing he was transforming into a monster.
"Ah!" April and Casey gasped.
Donnie turned back around so his shell faced his friends.
"Don, is that you?" April asked.
"Stay..." Donnie said, turning around. "Stay away from me?!"
He ran past his friends and pushed them aside, who turned to him, as he pulled the door off, and ran out through it. April and Casey approached the doorway, then looked through it.
"What's happening to Don?" April wondered.
Casey turned to her, unsure himself.
Meanwhile, in Area 51, in Bishop's base, four technicians were working on a robot with a Human brain, as Bishop watched. One of them lowered a device onto the body, which sends sparks into it, then another approached a switch and flicked it, sending electricity through the body. It soon stopped as the body moved its hands, then it opened up a single eye, which extended. The table rose up so Bishop stared at the robot directly, which he then approached.
"Welcome back to the living, Dr. Stockman." he said.
Stockman groaned, his brain having survived the destruction of his clone body.
"Uh, where... Dr. Stockman?" Stockman said, confused.
Back at April's, Casey and April walked down into the basement, searching for Donnie.
"Donatello?" April said.
"Donnie?" Casey said.
"Don?" April said.
She turned and shined her flashlight down a hallway.
"Donnie!" Casey called, following her.
They both walked down the hallway towards a door, which was partly open.
"Are you alright?" April asked.
"We just wanna help ya, bro." Casey assured.
April opened the door before they both stepped inside, seeing a bedroom, that had once belonged to Kirby, as it had comic books and drawings all over. They turned to each other, then looked around the room, seeing Donnie in the corner, now with a tail sticking out of him.
"Donnie?" Casey said.
"Don?" April whimpered.
Donnie turned around, now a completely monster, half-turtle, half crocodile as his headband was gone.
"Don, what the...?" Casey said.
Donnie growled, showing sharp teeth.
"Wow." Casey said.
April turned and ran out of the room, then Casey turned and ran after her, closing the door behind him as he did. They both turned and ran down the hallway, April throwing the flashlight away as she did.
"Run, April, run!" Casey said.
Donnie smashed the door open, prowling like a wild animal, then he turned and pounced after them both.
"Go, go, go!" Casey said, as April ran up the stairs.
He turned and ran after her, as Donnie stopped by the stairs and roared. April turned ran though a doorway, but when Casey got to the doorway, Donnie grabbed his ankle.
"Ah!" he yelped, falling over. "AH! He's got me!"
April ran towards a broom and picked it up, as Donnie growled and pulled on Donnie's leg. April moved so she stood over Casey, then held the broom up.
"Let him go?!" she demanded.
She whacked Donnie's head with the broom, making him let go of Casey and fall down the stairs. He grumbled and shook his head, as Casey pulled himself up and turned around, then April turned to him as they approached the door.
"This is crazy!" April exclaimed, turning around.
"What do we do?" Casey asked.
"It's Don, right? Try talking to him." April suggested.
"Talk to him? Are you nuts?" Casey asked, waving his finger around near his brain. "He's a freakish savage monster and you just whacked his face with a broom!"
April gasped, realized her mistake to save her boyfriend.
"Uh... I'll call the guys." she said. "They'll know what to do, especially Cath I hope."
She handed Casey the broom and ran off towards her apartment. Casey turned and followed her, as Donnie roared and got to the top of the stairs. April ran into her apartment, as Casey and Donnie followed, then Casey turned around, as Donnie growled while in the doorway.
"Okay, Donnie, easy pal." Casey said, backing away slowly. "We're still buds, right?"
Donnie glared at him, then growled and grabbed the boom.
"Ah!" Casey yelped.
His hands slipped from the broom and he went flying towards the kitchen, hitting and smashing the table.
"Ah!" he moaned, landing on his chest. "All right. Goongala!"
He charged at Donnie, who came at him.
At the Power Plant, the other five Turtles were all surrounded by three crabs, which slowly moved towards him. Raph growled and brought out his litter-picker, then they all charged at one of the crabs, Cath being with Mikey, Elisa with Raph.
Leo held one of his swords, then ducked and spun around as his crab tried to whack him, before he sliced its head. It screeched painfully, before he sliced open its belly, making it fall onto its back. It's belly opened up, then another crab climbed out of it, just as Leo heard his phone ring on his outfit.
"This is not the time for a phone call." he said.
He jumped as the crab pounced on him, pinning him on the ground.
"Ah!" Leo gritted, taking his phone out. "Kinda got my hands full here, April! Make it fast?"
(April's apartment)
"Leo, help!" April cried into a phone. "A monster! Don...AHH!"
She looked up as Donnie approached her and roared.
"AHHHH!" she screamed.
(Power plant)
Leo looked at his phone, trying to hold the crab back with his tranquilliser blaster.
Nearby, his siblings kept avioding the other two crabs.
"Hello, April?" Leo said. "Are you there? April!"
He got no answer.
"No, the line's gone dead!" he realized.
The crab lifted his blaster up, knocking his phone away.
"Ah!" Leo grunted, keeping it back.
He dodged as the crab tried to hit him with its left claw.
"We've got to get back to Aprils. There's trouble!" he explained.
He kicked the crab's jaw, knocking it back, then he fired two tranquillisers at its belly, making it nauseous as it stumbled back, then fell onto its chest.
"Guys, their undersides are weaker!" Leo called. "Hit them there!"
Mikey and Cath ran towards one of the crabs, then Mikey ducked and skidded beneath its legs, as Cath jumped over it and kicked its back, boosting her away. She landed on the ground, near Mikey, who got up, before they both turned around, then Mikey jumped away.
"Say goodnight, crabby." he said, shooting tranquillisers from his blaster.
"Bye, bye, crab face." Cath joked, firing her blaster.
Nine tranquillisers hit the crab's belly, six from Mikey, three from Cath, causing it to pass out onto its chest as gunk fell from its mouth.
"Ew." Cath said, disgusted.
The last crab moved towards Raph and Elisa, who both dodged as it tried to hit them with its left claw. Raph then extended its picker up, hitting the crab's jaw and knocking it up, then Elisa jumped and kicked its belly with both feet, knocking it onto its back. Elisa then held her backpack's claw near its jaw, as Raph stabbed three tranquillisers into its belly, making it pass out as they both moved away.
All five Turtles panted as they looked at each other.
"Let's move it!" Mikey called. "We gotta get to April's place and save Donnie and April!"
"And Casey!" Leo added, annoyed.
Mikey turned to him as he approached him and Cath.
"Yeah, can't forget him." Cath said.
"Oh, yeah, and Casey too." Mikey said, scratching his head.
In April's apartment, April stood against a wall as Donnie approached her.
"Ah!" she screamed.
Casey got up from the floor near the door, then rubbing his head as he leaned on the arm of the couch.
"Casey!" April cried.
Casey looked up as Donnie huffed, then he ran towards the vacuum.
"Dude, that's my girlfriend!" he said, picking it up. "And you can't have her!"
He charged at Donnie, then whacked his head with the vacuum, creating a smokescreen from the bag.
"Ah!" April shrieked.
Casey took her hand and ran off with her, as Donnie roared.
"Come on!" Casey said.
They both ran towards the stairs, then ran down them towards the basement. Donnie followed them, banging his arm against a wall, then pounced down the stairs, as the couple turned and ran off down a hallway. They both stopped and turned as Donnie landed at the bottom of the stairs and turned to them, huffing.
"Uh..." Casey muttered.
"Ah..." April gulped, as they backed away.
Donnie moved closer to them on all fours, then stood up and roared.
"April, stand behind me." Casey instructed. "When he goes for me, you make a break for it. Run. Run and don't look back!"
"No, Casey, I..." April cried, as Casey charged forward.
Casey and Donnie began to grapple each other.
"Now, April, run!" Casey yelled, turning to her.
April gasped, horrified that her boyfriend might hurt her best Turtle male friend, or he might hurt Casey in his monstrous state.
At Bishop's base, Bishop stared at Stockman, who sat on the table he'd been brought back to life on, not happy with his new appearance.
"I-I don't understand. What's happened?" Stockman asked. "What have you done to me?"
"I had your brain recovered from the bottom of New York's East River, after your misguided sabbatical. While I could do without your personality, I do need your brain." Bishop explained, as he turned and walked off slightly. "The Outbreak is getting worse by the minute..."
He turned around to Stockman.
"...and I expect you to use that powerful mind of yours to clean it up." he said, pointing at Stockman.
"I-I-I can't believe... I can't believe you brought me back like this?" Stockman said, looking at himself. "Why? Why?"
He clutched his fist and got off the table.
"Oh..." he yelped, wobbling slightly, due to his new legs. "Oh!"
He fell onto his side.
"Why couldn't you let me finally rest in peace?" Stockman asked, sitting up. "WHY?!"
Bishop stared at him, folding his arms, not answering him.
Back in April's basement, Casey was still grappling with Donnie, while April was frozen with fear.
"April, I told ya to go!" Casey grunted.
Donnie pushed him back slightly.
"Ahh! I can't hold him for-" Casey grunted, before Donnie grabbed his suit. "Donnie, no?!"
Donnie turned and banged him into a wall.
"Ah!" Casey moaned.
April gasped, before she ran towards them, before she grabbed Casey's arm and began pulling on it.
"Donatello, let him go!" she pleaded.
Nearby, Raph pushed open the box covering the hidden entrance in the basement, then he and Elisa ran down the hallway.
"Whoa! More freaky monsters?" Raph said.
They both stopped and turned to Donnie, April and Casey.
"There it is!" Elisa said.
"Hey, didn't you hear what the lady said?" Raph said, somersaulting forward.
He banged his picker into Donnie's head, knocking him back, making him let Casey go as he groaned. Casey rubbed his head as the others all came towards Raph.
"Are you guys alright?" Mikey asked.
"You're not hurt are you?" Cath asked worriedly.
"I'm fine." Casey assured.
April gasped as Donnie got up and roared.
"What the shell is that?" Raph questioned.
"And how the shell did that thing get in here?!" Elisa exclaimed.
Donnie roared and pounced towards them all.
"Look out!" Leo warned.
All but Raph managed to move away, as Donnie pounced on him, making them both roll along in a ball.
"Uh!" Raph moaned, as they stopped.
Donnie picked him up by the arms, as Leo and Cath ran towards them.
"Let him go, you freak!" Cath roared.
She and Leo both jumped and kicked Donnie's shell, making him move and let go of Raph. Donnie roared and turned to his siblings, before he turned and spotted the tunnel entrance, which he then ran towards and out of sight. His five siblings all chased after him, but then stopped by the entrance, hearing Donnie roar in the distance.
"What was that thing?" Leo wondered.
"And where's Don?" Raph wondered.
"I hope he's okay." Cath gulped.
"Did that monster get Don?" Mikey panicked, pointing down the tunnel.
"It better not have!" Elisa snarled.
"Guys, that monster is Don." April explained.
"Say what?!" Mikey exclaimed.
"That thing you just fought is Don." April explained.
"AH!" Raph and Mikey gasped.
"Oh, my gosh!" Cath gasped.
Leo frowned.
"Are you sure?" Elisa asked frantically.
"Yeah." Casey sighed.
Cath approached him and April.
"Guys, how'd it happen?" she asked.
"We... We don't know." April explained. "He started burning up and then he turned into that monster."
Cath turned to her siblings, Leo still frowning while the others looked shocked.
Later, the five Turtles were in Leatherhead's lair, standing behind him as he stood at a table. He looked through a hi-tech microscope, which had Donnie's bandage underneath.
"So, anything you can tell us Leatherhead?" Leo asked.
"Fascinating. The tissue sample from Donatello's bandage contains the same alien DNA found in the strange mutated creatures you've been battling of late." Leatherhead explained.
"You mean, Don's been infected by the Outbreak mutagen?" Leo inquired.
"Yes." Leatherhead sighed, turning to his friends. "In Donatello's case, it's triggered a secondary mutation in Donatello's already mutated DNA."
He looked back at the bandage through the hi-tech microscope.
"What I can't understand is how this agent was introduced into Donatello's bloodstream." he said, turning to the Turtles, then looked back through the microscope.
"I think I know." Leo said.
"You do?" Elisa asked. "Well, how, Leo?"
(Flashback)
Toad approached the Turtles as they all stared at him, expect Raph who was pinned in the water.
"Remember when we were fighting Mutants when the Outbreak first occurred?"
Toad shot tentacles out from the back of his head, making Donnie push Mikey away to avoid them.
"Watch it!" he gasped.
Todd glared as he approached them all.
Raph and the girls ran towards Donnie, who was on all fours.
"You okay, bro?" Raph asked.
He helped Donnie up as the girls stopped near them.
"Thanks." Donnie said.
"Don, are you hurt?" Cath asked worriedly.
Elisa helped Mikey up.
"Mikey, are you okay?" she asked.
"Yeah... Don, Raph, Cathy, look out!" Mikey screamed, looking at them.
The three of them turned around, seeing four tentacles shooting at them all.
"Run!" Cath cried, as she ran off.
"Move!" Raph yelled, pushing Donnie away.
Raph backed flipped away before the tentacles could hit him, then Cath jumped up and kicked her feet against a wall, making them miss her, before she dived down as they pulled away. Donnie however, kept on running, before one stung his right leg above the knee.
"AH!" Donnie cried.
Raph stabbed the tentacle with his Sai, making Todd pull it away.
"My leg!" Donnie cried, rubbing the area it been stung.
"Don, are you alright?" Cath asked, running towards him.
"Yeah, just a nick." Donnie replied.
Cath looked at his leg and wasn't convinced.
(Flashback ends)
"That's it." Leo realized, turning to the others. "Don got a nasty gash when we were fighting those mutated roaches, remember?"
"Of course." Cath said. "I knew that was more than just a nick, but I didn't think it'd go this bad. The way he kept scratching his leg though told me there was more. I guess his cold must've been the slow progress of him mutating."
"I regret to say I-I-I cannot cure him." Leatherhead sighed, turning to his friends.
"What? NO!" Mikey panicked.
"Man, I am gonna take Bishop and ram my foot so far-" Raph began, punching his fist, before holding them both up.
"Raph, cool it!" Elisa scowled, touching her shoulder.
"Yeah, easy, Raph?" Leo said. "We'll find a cure, but first we've got to capture Don before he hurts himself or anyone else."
"Then we can make Bishop pay for what he's done to Don and the city." Elisa promised. "Just cool it for now, okay?"
"Okay, fine." Raph sighed.
Leatherhead walked past his friends towards a covered up object.
"But just how are we gonna capture a 300 pound killer turtle?" he inquired.
Leatherhead pulled the cover away, showing a container cylinder tube.
"As you know, Catharina, Donatello and I have been working together, developing ways to neutralize Bishop's mutant threat." he explained. "We engineered this containment unit to incarcerate and study larger mutations."
The Turtles all turned to Cath.
"It's true." she said. "I mostly did it to keep an eye on Don due to how bad he's been."
"We made this with Donatello." Leatherhead sighed, touching it. "I never imagined we would be using it on Donatello."
"Me neither." Cath sighed. "But it's better this way than have him harm many innocent people."
Later, the five Turtles all walked down a tunnel together, Leo holding a tracker device which beeped, Leatherhead following behind them while carrying the containment unit. Leo looked at the tracker before his Shell-Cell beeped, making him take it out and open it.
"Leo, it's April." April said.
(Topside)
April drove the Battle Shell along a road, while Casey looked at a scanner.
"The motion tracker is picking up an underground signal." April explained.
The beep on the scanner moved down a tunnel.
"It's the right size to be Donatello." April explained. "And it's heading towards Central Park. It looks like he's making his way towards your new home."
(Underground)
Leo flinched at the news, before he put his phone away.
"Don's heading for the lair." he explained. "Come on."
They all ran down the tunnel, hoping to get there before Donnie did.
Later, they all walked down another tunnel, before they stopped by the end and looked down it.
"We're coming up on the lair, and Don is close, real close." Leo explained, looking at the tracker. "Someone will need to lure him to us while we set up the containment unit."
Everyone turned to Mikey, who flinched and gulped, not liking the idea of being the bait.
"Sorry, Mikey, but you're the best at this." Elisa reasoned. "Plus, your voice will make it easier for him to find."
"Thanks a lot, sis." Mikey said sarcastically.
A little later, Mikey walked down a tunnel all by himself, looking for Donnie, before he stopped, aiming his tranquilliser gun.
"Oh, ugly mutated version of my beloved brother Donatello! Where are you?" he called.
A roaring noise made him look down the tunnel.
"Uh..." he gulped. "Donnie?"
He saw a shadow in the distance, before Donnie came around the corner. Donnie spotted him, then roared and ran towards him, freaking him out.
"Like, zoinks!" Mikey exclaimed.
He jumped over Donnie, who tried to grab him, then he landed on the ground and ran down the tunnel. Donnie turned and roared, before he chased after him. Mikey jumped towards a hole in the ceiling, grabbing the edge, before he hopped out of it, then he ran off down another tunnel. He then stopped and turned around, seeing Donnie was not jumping after him. He powered up his tranquilliser gun and moved towards it, when Donnie punched his way though the floor, knocking Mikey back slightly as he climbed up.
"Ah!" Mikey screamed, running off.
Donnie growled and chased him down the tunnel, heading for the containment unit.
"Oh, hummina, hummina, hummina, hummina." Mikey panicked.
Donnie got close to Mikey and whacked him away.
"AH!" he moaned, hitting the ground on his side.
He got into a four-point stance near the containment unit, then jumped backwards as Donnie tried to punch him, grabbing the top of the doorway, then he dodged another punch.
"Now I know how a piƱata feels." he said, dodging punches. "Uh! And I don't like it! Whoa, Don!"
His siblings all came out from behind the containment unit.
"Come on, quit it?" Mikey said, dodging more punches. "A little help here, guys?"
"Whoa, mama. Don's been taking his vitamins." Raph noted.
"And in this case, it's a bad thing." Elisa said.
Donnie punched Mikey's chest, knocking him off the doorway and past the containment unit.
"Ah!" he moaned. "Uh!"
He hit the floor and skidded past the others.
"I'm really sorry about this, Donnie." Raph said.
"Forgive us, Don, but it's the only way." Cath sighed.
Raph jumped in front of Donnie and whacked him slightly with his picker, as Cath jumped and kicked him slightly. She dived past Donnie as Raph hit him again, getting behind Raph, as Donnie turned to them both, while Leo and Elisa got behind him.
"Remember, this is Don. Do not hurt him!" Leo instructed.
Raph dodged as Donnie tried to bite him, while Cath jumped over him, then Raph dodged again as Donnie tried to bite him again.
"That's not gonna be a problem, Leo!" Raph said.
Donnie roared as Leo and Elisa jumped and kicked his shell, knocking him slightly, then they ducked as Raph jumped and kicked Donnie, making him trip over them both. Cath pulled Mikey back away from the containment unit as Donnie stumbled towards it, falling onto his knees in front of it.
"Leatherhead, you're on!" Leo said.
Leatherhead jumped up from the hole and charged down the hallway, roaring as he did. Donnie turned to him, then turned as Leatherhead grabbed him from behind, wrapping his arms around him. Donnie roared and snapped his teeth as Leatherhead tried to force him into the containment unit, before he did. Leo and Cath then closed the door as Donnie turned around, then he began banging on the door.
They all stared at Donnie, upset by what they had to do to him, and by what he had become.
"We're really sorry, Don." Cath said. "We had no choice."
Later, in Leatherhead's lair, the five Turtles, Splinter, Leatherhead, Casey and April all stared at Donnie in the containment unit, who kept banging on it.
"My son." Splinter said sadly, touching it.
He closed his eyes sadly.
"I can sympathize." Leatherhead said. "I know what it's like to be a monster."
"It's a pity Don was turned this way against his will." Cath sighed. "That's way different from you."
Raph approached Splinter and touched his shoulder.
"Poor Donnie." he said.
"What are we gonna do, Leo?" Mikey asked.
"Do? This is Donatello. This is our brother." Leo said.
He approached the containment unit, touching it.
"We're gonna hunt down a cure for him, no matter what it takes." he vowed, clutching his fist. "No matter what it takes."
Donnie kept banging on the containment unit, while everyone else stared at him, hoping to find a way to cure him and turn him back to normal.
