Visiting the baby
Alex, Elaine, Latka and Mirabella arrive at the hospital to see Mirabella's baby sister and Alex was going to name her as well cause she was going to be joining the family that day as well
"I don't why I am so nervous" Alex says as they enter the hospital to see the baby
"Alex calm down it's all going to be okay we are going to be right here for you every step of the way, and I think why you are nervous is you are going to be a father to a two year old and a baby who might be handicap or not" Elaine says as they head for the desk to see where the baby was cause the social worker was going to let him meet the baby and get to know her as well cause she was going to be going home with him the next day which was going to be a big deal for him and for everyone at the cab company cause Alex was going to be bringing those two angels with him to work everyday
Alex gets the directions to where the baby was and Alex, Elaine and Mirabella head there while Latka hangs out downstairs right now
"Bella hold our hands okay" Alex tells her as they board the elevator to go up to the NICU where ethe baby was
Mirabella nods as she holds on as they go and see her baby sister
(Sixth floor)
"Okay it has to be down here" Alex says as they head to the nursery to see the baby cause the hospital had two separate nurseries and the baby was here
Alex sees the social worker and the three of them go to her
"Alex Reiger your other daughter is in here" the social worker tells him
Alex goes to where the baby was, and he couldn't believe how beautiful she was
"She is paralyzed from the waist down it was a birth injury" the social worker tells him
Alex was okay with that and he loved her no matter what happens
"It's okay Zoey" he says as she started to get fussy
Alex was going to rock her to calm her down cause she was really upset right now cause she was somewhere else and someone new was holding her as well and she was not liking that at all
"Can I show her to her sister?" he asks the social worker
"Yeah, cause she will be released tomorrow" the social worker says cause Zoey was going to be moved to the regular nursery
Alex took her out to meet Mirabella and Elaine was going to meet her as well
"Mirabella I like you to meet your sister Zoey" he says as he got down her height so Mirabella could meet her sister for the first time
"Bella we have to be careful cause Zoey is little" Elaine tells her
"Plus she is special as well so we have to be extra careful with her as well" Alex tells her
Bella admires her sister right now and she couldn't believe that she was going to be living with her
"What's wrong with her Alex?" Elaine asks him
"She is paralyzed from the waist down it was a birth injury her mother did to her" Alex says as he was going to sit down with her cause the nurses wanted him to feed her and he was of course cause she was hungry
"The poor thing" Elaine says as she looks at little Zoey
"Yeah and Cathy is going to meet them this weekend cause she wants to get together so she is going to be surprised when she meets Mirabella and Zoey" he says as he thought about his first daughter and now he has a second chance at becoming a father as well to these two girls
"You better warn her now" Elaine tells him
"Yeah I better once I feed Zoey here cause she looks hungry as can be" Alex says as he was going to feed Zoey her bottle right now
Zoey ate it all and Alex was careful to burp her once she was finished
"There we go Zoey" he says as she let out some good burps and a little spit up afterwards
Alex was going to tuck her back in after he had changed her
"Alex what took long?" Latka asks as he came to see Alex
"Well Latka I like you to meet Zoey my other daughter" Alex says as he was going to shoe Zoey to Latka since Elaine took Mirabella to the gift shop cause Mirabella wanted to get something for Zoey
Latka admires Zoey right now as she was sleeping cause she had her belly full
"She pretty" Latka says to Alex
"Thanks Latka I am going to have to get car seats for both girls so they are safe in my car and in the cab of course cause no one is going to be watching these two I am bringing them to work with me" Alex says as he thinks of what else he had to get cause Zoey was going to be released the next day of course to him and he didn't have anything for Zoey so he had to shop again for her this time
Latka was going to tag along with him as he went shopping for Zoey cause Elaine wanted to do some things with Mirabella right now since Alex was going to be busy with Zoey and taking care of her as well cause she was going to be needing a lot of attention and care. Latka was going to help turn the upstairs room into a room for the girls where they could play and nap while Alex was on the road as well cause they needed a place to be when they were at the garage with Alex and the old gang was playing cards or poker as well
"The guys are turning one room into a spare room" Latka says as the others showed up as well
Alex was grateful that the others were going to help him out with he girls cause he had to introduce them to Zoey when she was released to come home the next day
"Tonight it will be just me and Mirabella" Alex says as he was thinking ahead to the first night with Mirabella before Zoey joins the mix
