Kisuke:Seriously Ichigo,what you did was not really worthy of praise. You're a leader,you're the one who should be more determined about this and not playing games. Aren't you ashamed of yourself? I expected this behavior from Keigo or Yumichika but you? This is getting out of hand.
Ichigo:As I said I'm sorry Kisuke,what do you want me to do to prove it.
Kisuke:From today on until Xcution is defeated... you're not allowed to speak or go near Uryuu unless it is necessary.
Ichigo: But...
Kisuke: No buts,consider it as this;the both of you are taking a break from your little 'relationship'.
Ichigo: (sadly)I understand.
Kisuke: Good.
Kisuke stood up with a lazy smile and left as Ichigo dropped himself on his futon.
Ichigo: Guess I'll have to get rid of those pests faster now.
That was the last thought on his mind before sleep took over. Meanwhile,someplace else a garganta opened as 6 figures stepped out.
Toshirou:This is it.
Byakuya:We have to go to Kisuke Urahara,he'll know where we should find squad 14 officers.
Renji:Heh can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees me.
Rukia:Lets go find that carrot-top.
Rangiku:Hmh,I wonder if Yumichika will be up for shopping.
Ikkaku said nothing as a wide smirk graced his lips,Ichigo woke up sweating and gasping from his sleep, grabbing his sheets he sighed.
Ichigo: Seems like we got back up...and those two idiots are back.
He smiled a little, not seeing Uryuu might not be that bad after all.
Next morning at breakfast.
Renji:So what'd I miss,huh?
Yumichika: Oh,we got a new fukutaicho assigned to our squad.
Rukia:Really?
Yukio:Yeah,he's super cool.
Yumichika:He looks like a girl, a beautiful one at that.
Rangiku:On the scale of 10 what would you rate him?
Nel:Definitely 10.
Nozomi:Hm-hm.
Rukia Rangiku:He must be hot!
Grimmjaw:(laughs)Don't get your hopes up cause he's gay too...and he's in some sort of a relationship with Ichi here.
Renji:(gasps)No way,is that true?
Ichigo:Well...
Harribel:It's true. He's so crazy about him everyone thinks he was given a love portion of some sort.
Ichigo:I'm not crazy.
Orihime:You are crazy about him Ichigo, remember how you were fetched in his house last night when you knew very well you were not allowed to go anywhere near him?
Renji: (laughs)Wait,he did what?!
Ichigo: Well unlike you I got to meet his father!
Yumichika: What's he like?
Ichigo: (sheepishly) Dunno,we only exchanged greetings.
Yukio:A great meeting that was.
Ichigo: Stop teasing me ok?I get it,I made a mistake,a huge one. But you must understand I'm new to this love thing!
Rangiku: He used the 'L-word'.
Grimmjaw:That was fast.
Rukia:How long have you been dating again?
Yumichika: Oh no,no,no hun they are not dating.
Ichigo: 'Ichika,shuddup.
Rangiku: If you're not dating what are you doing then?
Grimmjaw: Fooling around.
Ichigo: We are-!...I don't know, it's complicated.
Renji: (laughs)You're hopeless Ichigo, you'll be friend zoned if ya keep this up.
Ichigo: I hope not.
Toshirou:So you met his father, huh?Did he happen to have silver hair or something that resembles my hair colour?
Ichigo: Now that ya mention it,yeah. And he looks like Ishida a lot.
Toshirou: I see.
Yumichika: How'd you know Uryuu's father's hair?
Toshirou: That's a story for another day.
Yumichika: Oh c'mon.
Ikkaku:Hey Yumichika where's your boyfriend?
Keigo: A splendid mornin' to you all,please make way for Keigo-san!
Ikkaku:Speak of the devil and he shall appear.
Yumichika and Yukio rolled their eyes as Keigo sat between them biting on Yukio's half eaten toast.
Yumichika: What took you so long?
Keigo: I overslept.
Yukio: But I woke you up earlier Keigo-san.
Keigo: Feh,couldn't find any pink underwear around.
Yukio: (terrified) Are you...wearing any right now?
Keigo: Of course I am,I left to buy it.
Yumichika Yukio: (sigh)You moron.
Grimmjaw: Hmph.
Ikkaku:I really don't understand why everyone fawns over that guy,he's an idiot.
Nozomi:Come on,we'll be late for school you guys.
Rukia and Rangiku looked at everyone questioningly.
Yumichika: She's more responsive lately and she probably wants to see Uryuu...this is all his magic. You'll get used to it.
Rangiku: I really want to meet this Uryuu guy.
Rukia: Me too.
Renji: Heh,can't wait to hang out with him.
Ichigo: (laughs)Oh,he's not that nice y'know?Especially to douchébags.
Renji snorted.Everyone but Yukio failed to notice the deadly glare Keigo gave to Ikkaku who smirked and took his place by Yumichika's side.
Keigo:(thinking) Hate is a strong word demo I really, really,really don't like that guy...
He felt a comforting hand on his shoulder and smiled warmly, he was lucky to have Yukio as his partner indeed.
In class,Uryuu sat around his new group when he saw Ichigo and the others barging in with 6 others he didn't know,Ichigo didn't even spare him a glance and Uryuu frowned in confusion,was he avoiding him?He also noticed the two unknown girls gawking at him. What really was going on here?
Tsukishima:Don't worry,those other 6 are his comrades...they're also shinigami. It looks like they got back up.
Uryuu: Back up?Why do they need back up?
Riruka:Who knows?What matters is that we'll be getting our own backup soon.
Uryuu:Hm?
Tsukishima:I told them about what you said yesterday. Ginjo agreed to allocate more people to the group.
Uryuu: Oh.
Jackie:So...your exit there yesterday. Fancy.
Uryuu: Oh,that was my father.
Shishigawara: He's that rich huh? Think I could come over afterschool?
Uryuu:Don't you think it's too soon?
Riruka:You remind me of Yukio, he had rich parents like you too.
Uryuu: (surprised) What?
Riruka: Yeah...but his parents died and he got all the inheritance.
Uryuu tried not to look at Yukio as realisation dawned on him,the way Yukio acted like a spoiled brat...it made sense to him now.
Uryuu: What happened to his parents?
Riruka: He killed them all because they didn't give him attention, they were workaholics.
Uryuu's eyes widened, Yukio...killed... why?...because of...attention?
Uryuu: How...could...he...do such a thing?
Riruka: Hm,he's a stinky attention seeker and a brat. He got a little attention from those soul reapers and he sold one of us out. He's... gosh I want to kill him with my own hands.
Attention, all because of attention Yukio decided to kill his parents and sell Senna's life,Uryuu didn't know what to do with him now as he frowned. Yukio was not to be trusted,he felt sorry for Grimmjaw.
Tsukishima: Class is about to start.
Everyone scattered to their seats,Uryuu stole a glance at Yukio who was laughing at something Keigo said. Was that laugh fake too Yukio met his eyes and smiled and Uryuu glared at him coldly, he noticed the other boy frown before looking away
Uryuu:(thinking)Believe me Yukio,when I'm done with Xcution...I'm coming for you...that is if you survive Riruka's wrath.
Lunch,Ichigo's group were gathered around in a circle as they ate their lunch...
Yukio:Mmm,guys?Uryuu's been glaring at me lately... ya think it's part of his act?
Toshirou:Were Xcution members aware of this when he did it?
Yukio:Um,no. I mean Riruka always glares at me but that's normal.
Byakuya:I don't think it's part of his act. I've been observing him silently as well. He has got somewhat of an anger directed to you Hozuki-kun.
Yukio:But,what'd I do?
Yumichika:Perhaps Xcution revealed some dark secret from your past?
Yukio:Oh. You're right.
Keigo:Is it about your parents?
Yukio: It's the only thing,what else?
Keigo:Hm.
Grimmjaw:What's it with yer parents?
Yukio: I...killed them.
Rangiku:You killed your own parents? Why?
Yukio stared at the floor as if it was interesting,he really did not want to talk about that.
Keigo:See,Yukio was born as the only child to filthy rich parents. Problem was they were always away from home or the country on business trips or work to the fact that they forgot they had a child and they buried him in loads and loads if money to make him forget that they were never at home. Ofcourse money can't buy love,care or anything a child needs. Being alone Yukio learnt everybody on TV which we all know has bad effects on children. Yukio learnt everything he could especially technology, he mastered it. And so he cleared their accounts, transferring the money they worked so hard for into his own account which he created,he did it to hurt them...so they'd remember that they had a child back at home but it got worse. They drifted further and further away from home so much that it really depressed Yukio and so... he killed them and inherited everything they worked for. He sold it and left. That's when he met Xcution.
Renji:Why couldn't you have just left them bro?You already had the money so you didn't have to kill them.
Yukio: I know. And there's no excuse for what I did. But I was young back then. You have no idea how it feels like to have parents who are dead to you. I didn't understand how they could bring a child to this world only to make him suffer. It hurt,it really crushed me and I... I ended them. I regret it.
Everyone looked at him sympathetically and he looked away.
Yukio: Don't pity me,I'm just a spoiled little brat who killed his parents because of attention.(teary)Oh God, I bet when Riruka put it like that,Uryuu saw how cruel I am. Why am I so worthless?
Then he cracked trying to hold it in then he met Keigo's warm,understanding eyes he broke and cried.
Ichigo:Hey,it's ok. No one's perfect, that applied to you as well. Plus you were still a child and not in the right state of mind.
Rukia:And it's not wrong for a person to seek love and care sometimes.
Renji:Especially if you were never introduced to it in the first place.
Grimmjaw:I would've probably done worse.
Rangiku:See gun?If you explain it to Uryuu like this...I'm certain he'd understand.
Yukio wiped his eyes and smiled softly.
Yukio: Arigatou,everyone. I feel better.
Toshirou:(smiles)I really didn't care when you told me the story back then when we fought but hearing the story now...I'm really sorry you went through that. I know how it feels to be deserted.
Yukio: Thanks.
