Uryuu lay on the balcony, staring at the stars. He sighed. 10pm...his dad must be busy at the hospital,he felt... lonely. A burst of spiritual energy made him sit up and looked down. He saw a silver haired man,not his father but someone... short,pressing a button the gates slid open as he went to get the door.
Uryuu:Yes?
Toshirou:Oh hi. Um...is your father home? I need to talk to him.
Uryuu:Who're you?
Toshirou:Oh sorry, I'm Toshirou Hitsugaya.
Uryuu: Oh...you're that taicho who visited Kurosaki the other day.
Toshirou: Hai.
Uryuu: Now,what could you possibility want from my father?
A black Ferrari parked outside as Ryuuken came to them,freezing at Toshirou's presence. Uryuu watched the scene with interest, what was going on here?...Toshirou stared at Ryuuken with teary eyes as Ryuuken stared back with shock. The two seemed to be in their own world before Ryuuken cleared his throat and stared at Uryuu.
Ryuuken: Hey,um...could you let us in?
Uryuu slowly stepped aside and closed the door behind him as Ryuuken walked upstairs into his room,Uryuu looked at Toshirou curtly before rushing to the kitchen. Toshirou stood awkwardly staring around until spotting a couch and sitting on it. Who welcomes someone into their house only to leave them alone later? Uryuu reappeared with a tray filled with different kinds of delicious looking food before disappearing again. Toshirou took the chopsticks and helped himself, he was so lost in thought that he didn't realise Ryuuken coming back and joining him.
Ryuuken: I hope Ryuu didn't make too much for you.
Toshirou: What?Oh...it's you.
The air was so tense,Toshirou found it difficult to breathe.
Toshirou: Ryuuken...
Ryuuken: Gomenasai. (laughs)On the first name basis now huh Toshirou?
Toshirou: (blushing) I'm a taicho now.
Ryuuken: I'm proud of you.
Toshirou: I...I hate you.
Ryuuken stared at the floor and said nothing, Toshirou looked at him warmly before looking away in shame.
Toshirou: Why didn't you take me with you? Was I not good enough? Why,just why? You said I should persue my dreams,you were my dream...I don't understand. Why?
Ryuuken said nothing, he had even stopped eating and Toshirou just lost it.
Toshirou:(angry)That's it?!After all those years I've finally found you and that's what you give me...nothing?! I LOVED you!!! Why did you do that to me?Do you how I've been suffering for all those years you were gone?!Why are you such a jerk?! I can't believe I ever loved you,you know what,maybe it's a good thing you left-
Ryuuken: (softly)Don't say that...
Toshirou: What?!If you never left I wouldn't have been able to see the full extent of my power, I wouldn't have become the captain I am today because I would've wanted to serve you my whole life! Yeah, it is a good thing you left!
Ryuuken: (angry)I SAID DON'T SAY THAT!!!
Toshirou: (laughs)Screaming at me now?You know Ryuuken,I was a fool for ever thinking you'll...
Toshirou was silenced by a pair of soft lips,he gasped in shock and pushed the man away.
Toshirou: What are you doing?
Ryuuken: I'm sorry I left you but I didn't want you getting stuck in my problems.
Toshirou: But,I wouldn't have minded.
Ryuuken: I know,but it would've hurt me to see you throw your life away for me like that. Toshirou... I love you and I just,it feels wrong.
Toshirou: Is it because I'm younger.
Ryuuken: Way younger.
Toshirou: But you should let me make that decision. I love you and I don't care what anyone says about that. I want you.
Ryuuken sighed and leaned on the couch.
Ryuuken: Toshirou, I'm going to come back to the soul society and own up to my crimes. That means I'll be locked up for a very,very long time.
Toshirou: You don't have to come back...I can come here, you know?
Ryuuken: No,I promised Ryuu I would.
Toshirou:Won't he understand?
Ryuuken: I've disappointed that boy a lot,Shiro. It would kill me if I did it again.
Toshirou: I guess...I'll have to wait for you then.
Ryuuken: Don't be an idiot,you have to continue with your life.
Toshirou: Like I told you,let me make that decision Ryuuken.
Ryuuken: (smiles)You've grown, Toshirou. Much bolder as well.
Toshirou blushed and looked away only to see a figure standing by a corner,staring at them. Ryuuken followed his gaze and motioned for Uryuu to join them,Uryuu sat next to his father.
Ryuuken: Ryuu I...
Uryuu: It's ok father,I understand. You loved mother,she died you have to move on. I guess I have two dads now.
Ryuuken smiled and hugged him,Uryuu motioned for Toshirou to join them and they shared a group hug, they were happy.
Everyone was at Kisuke's underground training grounds(hope that makes sense).
Kisuke:So,here's what will happen... everyone will attack each other k? And the winner gets a day of school.
All except Byakuya:Alright!
Kisuke:Kidding,the losers will clean and help around the shop for the whole week,ya got it?
Rangiku:Hey I'm not fighting the captains.
Kisuke: Oh yes you are, I command the captains to go for Matsumoto-chan!
Rangiku:No fair!
Kisuke: Mm? Where's Hitsugaya-taicho?
Everyone shrugged and Kisuke frowned suspiciously as everyone began fighting.
Kisuke :Oh well, that means no school and double training for him.
