Cathy has the baby part 1

Alex was filling out the paperwork for the girls cause he had to fill out more paperwork to be considered to adopt them and then he was going to be going to court here and there for adoption hearings for the girls and he had to fill out another paperwork for Mirabella cause she did not have a middle name so he had to give her a middle name, and he was having a hard time coming up with a name for her, and he had to do paperwork on Zoey cause she was going to be disabled cause of her injury that she had as well

"Alex how many more papers do you have to fill out for the girls?' Tony asks him one day at the garage cause that was where Alex was filling out the papers on the girls since he was bringing them to work with him as well

"These are the last two then court starts for me to adopt them I can't wait for Bella to call me daddy, and I can start applying for grants for Zoey cause she will need a wheelchair to get around in and I will need a special vehicle as well for her, so she can travel while in her chair" Alex says as he was still the paperwork for the adoption cause the courts needed more paperwork from Alex

"That wonderful Alex cause I know you are already a great dad to Bella and she loves you to death" Elaine says as she joins Alex cause they were going to have a poker game once he was done with the paperwork

"I know and it sounds like Zoey is awake" Alex says as he was going to get Zoey from her stroller and hold her

"Okay everyone we have cabs here and New Yorkers have places to be" Cathy says as she was going to give the cab drivers their cabs

Alex walks with Zoey as he waited to get his cab number

"Alex you have cab" Cathy says as he was hit with a pain in her middle

Alex knew what was happening Cathy was going into labor and he had to get her to the hospital and fast

"What cab do I have Cathy?" Alex asks as he was going to hand Zoey off to Latka cause he had to get Cathy to the hospital

"Cab 666" she says as she was getting up to leave cause they were going to be going to the hospital

Alex was going to grab her bag that was by the coffee machine and they were off to the hospital

"How far is the hospital from the garage?" Cathy asks him cause she was worried they weren't going to make it in time

"Twenty minutes maybe" Alex says as he gets her in the cab to head for the hospital cause this was it

Alex starts helping her with her breathing exercises as she laid in the backseat of the cab and he was going to time the contractions as well as he was driving

"Do you have everything?" Cathy asks him

"Yes I do and the kit is in the trunk in case we don't make it to the hospital, and I had Latka make sure every single can worked just fine in case you go into labor, so the breaks works and the cab has a/c in case it is hot out and it looked like he did curtains so you had privacy in case you deliver" Alex says as they headed out

Alex made sure that the off duty was on as he headed to the hospital with her and he had her focus object out on the dashboard as they headed there

"Oh great a traffic jam" he says as they approach the traffic jam

Alex tries to look for a different way to the hospital cause he did not have time to deal with a traffic jam right now

"Okay I have found a different way, but it will take us longer to get to the hospital" he says as he was driving still

"Just try to hurry" Cathy says as he laid down cause her labor was going quick for her first pregnancy

Alex looks back and he sees that she laid down and he was hoping that he knew some short cuts to the hospital cause he was not fully ready to deliver the baby in the backseat of cab 666 right now

"I hope I can get us there in time" he says as he was still driving right now

"Dad can you come back here with me so I am not alone?" Cathy asks as she sat up cause she was really scared

Alex looks for a place where he can pull over so he could be back there with her cause he knew that she was scared about being alone when she has the baby and he was not going to abandon her in her time of need

"I am right here Cathy" he says as he was going to stay in the front seat right now cause he wanted to radio back to the garage to see if any of the other cab drivers came back from their runs, and if they did maybe they could come and help Alex and Cathy

Alex hugs her close and he helps her with her breathing right now and he was still timing the contractions as well and he saw that the contractions were getting closer and closer together as well and he was hoping that she would make it to the hospital in time, but it looked like that was not going to be the case and he was going to have to deliver the baby in cab 666 and once he delivered the baby of course he was going to make sure that Cathy and the baby was healthy

"Latka come in Latka" Alex calls to him cause he knew time was not on his side right now
