Cathy has the baby part 2
Alex knew Latka was not going to answer at all cause he was working on cabs right now he was hoping that he could wait a little longer to call back to the garage and see if any of the cabbies came back
"I am going to see if I can get us there" Alex says as he gets back in front to head to the other hospital cause they were close to another hospital
Alex was going to take her over the Brooklyn bridge and as he was halfway across he had to pull over cause the cab started to overheat, and he knew that wasn't good
"Alex what is happening?" Cathy asks him
"The cab over heated is all I thought Louie took this cab out, and I guess he didn't luckily there is water in the trunk" Alex says as he gets out to cool down the engine
Cathy got out to walk a little bit and once Alex puts water in the cab to cool down he was going to walk with her to help her with her labor
"I am going to radio back cause this cab isn't safe to drive" Alex says as he was going to radio back to the garage
Alex gets ahold of someone and Latka was going to bring out a different cab when he brings the tow truck
"Alex I don't think we are going to make it to the hospital my water just broke" Cathy tells him
"Well it looks like you are delivering on the bridge" he says as he was going to help her back to the cab to deliver the baby cause he was a little excited he was going to be delivering his grandchild
"Yeah I want to walk a little longer get the kit out and get the cab ready I don't want Louie to fire you cause I ruined the cab" Cathy tell shim
Alex gets everything out that was going to be needed for delivery and he makes sure Cathy is going to be comfortable cause he closes the curtains as well so no one knows what is going on as well
"The cab is ready with what was in the kit and I have the scissors, yarn, and the bulb in the front so when the baby is born I can clean out the nose and mouth" he says as he was helping her with her labor still as well cause she was doing good for her first labor
"Thanks Alex mind if I call you dad from now on cause you are treating me a little better then the man that mom married" Cathy tell shim
"I don't mind at all Cat" he says as he was massaging her back as well cause her back was hurting her a little bit
Alex times the contractions as well, and they were getting a little closer together
"Well Cathy you are going to have this baby under the stars" he says as the sun started to go down and Cathy was still walking the bridge as well to help labor progress as well
"Yeah I guess I am" she says as she holds onto the rail cause she had a hard contraction
Alex walks her back to the cab and he was going to radio back to the garage to see where the tow truck was as well as Latka cause he was getting worried now
"Alex I feel the need to push" Cathy tells him as she felt another contraction
"Okay let's get you ready for delivery" he says as he was going to help her get comfortable so she could have the baby
Alex closes the curtains on the doors, so no one sees in and he helps her get through the hardest part
"That has to be Alex and Cathy" Tony says as the group approaches the cab, and they could hear Alex coach Cathy through the last part
"It sounds like she is delivering" Elaine says as she held Zoey cause Zoey missed daddy right now and Latka held Bella in his arms
The group headed for the sidewalk to wait cause they knew it could be anytime now
"It sounds like Tony, Elaine and everyone else is here" Cathy says as she was breathing between contractions cause she was pushing now
"Yeah we can see them after the baby is here cause the head is coming to view" Alex tells her as she goes back to pushing the baby out
Alex rubs her leg and tells her she is doing amazing and that he was very proud of her
"Good pushes Cath, and the baby will be here" he tells her as he was still delivering the baby
Cathy pushed really good until a cry could be heard from inside cab 666
"Sounds like the baby is here" Tony says with excitement in his voice cause the group was waiting for a baby's cry
"Yeah all we have to do is wait to see if it's a boy or a girl" Elaine says as she was going to radio for an ambulance since Latka was going to tow the cab back to the garage for repairs
"Well guys say hello to my granddaughter" Alex says as he gets out of the cab cause Cathy wanted the group to meet the baby once she was able to see her
"Alex she is beautiful" Tony tells him
"Look at those hands" Elaine tells him
Latka mutters something in his language when he saw the baby
"How is she?" Jim asks him
"She is doing good resting right now" Alex says as he was holding the baby
"We have an ambulance coming to take them to the hospital" Elaine tells Alex
"Thanks Elaine" Alex tells them
"What's her name?" Bobby asks him
"Phoebe Layla Reiger" Alex says as he holds Phoebe in his arms
Everyone admires Phoebe, but Phoebe needed fed so Alex takes her back to mommy and Alex was shocked when he saw another baby
"Sorry dad I didn't know I was having twins" Cathy says as she cried
Alex saw the other baby was a girl and Cathy wanted to name her Alexandria Luna Alexandria after her grandfather
"Well I got the two most beautiful girls on the planet my granddaughters" he says to her as the ambulance comes to the scene to take them to the hospital to get checked out
